Romance › Re: She's Not Your Type And Guess What, She's Right! by Dshocker(m): 11:35am On Feb 18, 2023 |
atheistandproud: Let's take three scenarios that are very ubiquitous in our modern day living...
Scenario 1
Two high school graduates, male and female, both jobless, probably learning a trade, around 18 years of age. If the guy approaches the girl for a relationship, 7 out of 10 times, the reply would be you're not my type.
Scenario 2 Two University students, around the same age, in the same level, maybe even the same department and/or hostel. If the guy makes any overt approaches to the lady for a relationship, he's most likely 8 out of 10 to be rebuffed.
Third scenario Two graduates, both B.Sc holders, both hustling after school, living in very modest apartments, both under 30. The same outcome as the first two would most likely play if the guy does seek for a relationship. ---------------------------------------- In all 3 scenarios, they could be very good friends especially for the guys. They could be there and do heaven and earth but as soon as the relationship line is approached...its back to your tents oh Israel.
Many guys will surely be wracking their heads, some would even become angry, possibly violent after investing so much into a friendship in the hopes of a future relationship. The rejection most of the time is usually firm. No means No.
Why? Why do you think you're not her type?
First things first is that you need to understand that men and women are not the same, whether you want to go physical, mental, psychosocial, psychological etc. We think and act very differently because the social pressures and expectations on us are very different.
Secondly, you need to understand that many (not all) treat anyone auditioning for their relationship space as a job seeker. You need to match a list of requirements.
I stumbled across a quote somewhere that states that men are idealistic in loving, show an average man a little love and watch him melt. Women on the other hand are pragmatists who love wouldn't sway at a certain age. It is a also a fact that women mature way faster mentally meaning that guys are playing catch-up.
So whilst you as a man is fumbling towards the woman you like, she on the other hand is assessing you coldly and she has to.
Women after a certain age looks at a relationship with economic lenses. Let's assume that you have a hundred Naira note and I have a hundred Naira as well. I then approach you so we can swap notes. Does that make any sense to you?
You have a bottle of coke and I have the very same and I approach you for a swap, surely you must think there's something wrong with my coke or with me? When you approach a lady on the same level, she's thinking about what you could do for her that she cannot already do for herself. Most of the time it's a zero sum game and hence they turn you down.
Even if a woman wasn't going to think like that, societal and social pressures would force her to.
Family: if your sister picked a salary earning teacher of 30K over a banker who earns 5 times that amount, wouldn't you call her crazy? Not to her face but you would.
Suitor: as a man, if you were rejected by a lady for someone below your level, wouldn't you question her intelligence? Have many of you not tried to buy women with money and gifts?
Thus women carry hypergamy but society (men included) support and prop it up. We keep it alive and thriving. Social media makes it even worse. Many Nigerian women think they're Florence Otedola that can bag a wealthy boxer in their 30s. Many Nigerian men are dreaming of having Davido type of money someday. The statistical chances of that happening is low.
There's a reason why Leo DiCaprio will never date over 25 thus no one will ever Amber Heard him.
Thus if you both are at the same place when she says she's not on your level, she's actually correct. Don't let woke media deceive you. Men and women want different things.
This is why highly successful men don't want highly successful women, what does the lady has that the man doesn't have? Jay Z could have had any A lister but he opted for Beyonce. Because he's got things to offer her, even despite his indiscretions, she stayed. Bill and Hillary Clinton, man was caught cheating but his wife stayed.
You definitely don't need money to get a goodlooking woman but you have to position yourself to be one that people are scared to lose. Don't let anyone tell you it's manipulative. It's not. When you exude value, you then get to pick and would not be subject to any feminine games or shit tests. She tests you, she's gone. No take backs.
In fact it's a fellow woman that'll shut the door in her face, not you. So true... That is why it is advisable for guys to have something to offer in a relationship, before approaching a girl of a particular standard or level. Before you approach any girl as a guy, first weigh the option by asking yourself some true questions. |

Ewamoind: Why do men dump attractive ladies
Still suprise. I have a very attractive friend, and most times we hang out she recieve compliments a lot. Even ladies call her "fine geh" but the most suprising thing is that she gets dumped a lot. As at yesterday her fiance of four months just call it quit. This is d same guy that slip a ring on her finger few months back plus gifts and money. Some peeps even advice she visit spiritual leaders for help. She's sooo sad right now, because that guy is the fifth guy that'll break up with her this year not to talk of last year or previous year. She's in so much pain But what I'm wondering is,how can a lady be that pretty and still get dumped several times Truth is that, she doesn't want to reveal the truth behind her ordeal. *...She might be a transgendered *...Her vagina might have odour *....Her spiritual husband might have attacked those men in their dreams *....She might have a terrible family history *....She might have a bad character *....She might be suffering from epilepsy or sickel cell anemia Show her these and ask her to be open to you, so you can help her solve the problem. |

letstalksense: I have this lady I'm looking forward to get married to. We met like 3 months now. We are both from Christian background and we both love God. I'm not asking her for sex and anything of such. I'm Just looking for a good woman I can settle down with. We get into deep talk and she told me how she has sex with just 2 guys all her life. And that was after her ex broke her heart. But promised she has repeat from that. And don't have any sexual engagement with those 2 guys anymore. Then I told her I still love her despite her action.
BUT I told her she has to delete the contacts of those 2 guys she had sex with and the ex. So she won't have anything doing with them again. But she refused and told me, I didn't trust her. That she is just in friendship with them and have nothing doing with any of them.
Now, my fear is, will she be cheating or have anything doing with those guys if I eventually got married to her? This is already already bring misunderstanding between the both of us.
I hate cheating and don't cheat either. So I don't like any situation that may bring these exs into our relationship.
But she is not letting them go. Claiming they have been helping her one way and the other, encouraging her in business (she is hard working though). She told me, she got nothing sexual with any of them anymore and will never do. That she has repeated from such. They are just friends now. That I should have to trust her.
Please I don't know if I should trust her truly or I should quit the relationship?
Please what can you advise me? Please mature advise. Thanks Op i feel like slapping you 50 times under 5secs |

Ken4Christ: Why are you so gullible. You think the sitting president does not have personal interest. If they don't want Tinubu to win, then Atiku will be their preferred candidate. And behind the scene, he will get the cash.
Every politician do what they do for personal interest and not for the interest of the common man.
The Muslim community has made up their mind to cast their vote for either, Tinubu, Atiku and Kwanwaso. When they decide, the money will go there. You think they want to do things to give Peter Obi the advantage. You can't be serious if that is what is going through your mind. How old are you? |
Family › Re: My Mum Is Planning To Forcefully Give Out My Little Sister Out For Marriage by Dshocker(m): 1:18pm On Feb 17, 2023 |
VoidLife7: Good day all,
Please i need your sincere input to this subject matter
I am from an average family of 6 living in Lagos. My father is a surveyor, while my mother a petty trader. My mother lost his younger brother's wife after child birth, through cesarian surgery.. My mum was the only female amongst 4 siblings, she was beseeched to look after the infant and her little brother. That was how my parents began nurturing these kids. I could recall vividly how my dad often supply the house with baby food so she could be properly fed. I saw how my dad and mum took turns at mid night looking after her. My dad lost his only sister four years after and he was given the responsibility to look after her last baby who was almost 2 years. I lost my dad 2015 when the little girl was 10, her brother 12 and the other child was just 8. My mum had 4 biological kids, 3 boys and a girl. The girl was the first child, happily married with kids. I have an elder brother and a younger brother. I was intermediate my brothers. Till date, these children acknowledged my parents as their biological parents. They never knew we aren't blood from same parents. We all had same surname. The little girl wrote her WAEC last year and cleared all her papers with distinctions and credit. She had the intention to study law or foreign languages.
I enrolled her in fashion designing immediately after her secondary school, as she had shown interest. It's less than a year she got enrolled and she's already sewing styles. She's heading to become a seamstress in the not too distant future. She also makes hair. Though not professional and she never learnt it.
My mum summoned me last month informing me she'd be giving my little sister out for marriage once she clocks 18 by May this year. She claimed i had been teaching in private school earning 30k monthly and my elder brother working in a factory earning 35k. We got bills to pay for ourselves and the kids. She asserted that the burden is already taken a toll on us. I and my elder brother are the ones supporting the family with accommodation, feeding, school fees et al. My mum claimed there was no money to pursue her education. We couldn't even afford to get her a sewing machine. The little girl suggested she get enlisted into the Nigeria navy or Immigration Service with her WAEC result, and also as a fashion designer. Perhaps, that could enable her pursue her law degree in subsequent time as an officer. My mum wasn't convince with her idea. She claimed there was no one to help her get enlisted successfully. She insisted in giving her out to a 43 years old divorces whose wife had abandoned with 3 kids. My mum was so ignorance enough to believed giving her out for marriage will help lessen our burden😭
I felt like giving my mum good hot slap having realised the reason i got summoned. I felt the burden is really weighing her down, making her think otherwise. I had kept my mum at arm length since then. Hopefully, that'd propel her have a change of mind. I sincerely got her plight though but that shouldn't be an option. She seems not to understand her decision would destroy the girl's life completely. She claimed it wasn't her fault. She sincerely wish we are capable of looking after the children, then she'd support her dreams and aspirations. She believed when there's no money, you shouldn't be found discussing anything that requires money. I've been so down ever since then. She claimed i i hadn't saved myself yet and i was worried saving someone else. She's my sister and i can't leave her behind. She never treated her badly for a day though and nobody knows she wasn't her biological child. If for instance, anyone come up tomorrow informing her or her siblings that my parents aren't their biological parents, they'd never pay attention to it. I was even threatening to report her to the family but she claimed the family can't do nothing. This little girl has good plans, dreams and aspirations but my mum wants to cut it short and shattered due to our challenges.
Please i need advice going forward. I really want to keep my family together🙏❤ I advise you go into Agriculture, planting vegetables or riding Uber. Rather than teaching for 30k |

For those vagabonds quoting me are part of the problems Nigeria is facing.
The naira redesign and hoarding has more economical benefits than its disadvantage if you weigh both option.
Wike is against it because he and Tinubu wanted to capitalize on physical cash to help them rig this election.
Now they are politically sponsoring arson and protest to make the federal government look bad and terrible with their economical policies.
I for one is also feeling the pains of no cash, but i have to endure until after election, provided it helps us get or vote in a good leader, thank you
