He added that some PDP guys have not visited Maiduguri and environs since 2003, yet, they expect PDP to win, and when they expectedly lose, they stupidly shout "rigging". Hypocrites! Suddenly, INEC Chairman is a good man. Suddenly, democracy is at work! When APC wins, they shout "rigging", but when PDP wins, they claim it was "free and fair". Would Obasanjo have allowed his party lose so many elections without directly or indirectly intimidating INEC to ensure "win at all cost"? Nincompoops and daft clowns all over social media. Why can't people be objective? It is clear that after 2015 elections, these elections in 2019 are the 2nd best since the return of democracy in 1999! Tinubu is a Professor of politics! Hate him or like him. Tinubu knows how to build consensus, how to negotiate and renegotiate, how to forgive and warmly receive his followers who had offended him or left his group previously, etc, etc. Lam Adesina's son, Hon. Dapo Adesina, publicly claimed that Tinubu called him on phone and invited him to work for the party; most big politicians would have considered Dapo as a "small boy", and would rather have instructed an 'aide' to make the phone call. How many of Tinubu's peers who engaged in national politics in 1992 (he was elected Senator that year) are still relevant in politics today? Most of them have faded away! Not all newspaper reports are true, but everything written in this story by Daily Independent is 100% true! Not only were both Nasiru (aka Agenda) and Auto mercilessly beaten physically by defeated Bukola Saraki’s “good boys”, due to the fallout of the huge defeat of PDP in the February 23 elections, as correctly written in the report, Sholagberu, another Bukola Saraki henchman, was also terribly beaten and is currently admitted at a private hospital. Umahi of Ebonyi state is a smart Governor. He delivered excess of the minimum 25% votes constitutionally required by APC/Buhari to win the presidential election of February 23 and as payback for a job well executed, APC asked its candidates in Ebonyi to withdraw for Umahi and PDP in the governorship and House of Assembly election a few days to the elections! Umahi took a cue from Governors who perfectly did this in the past, starting from some opposition parties during Obasanjo’s administration. Pragmatic politics! I hail all parties involved. 2 Likes |

Kwankwaso brought this upon himself! He asked Ganduje's former Deputy Governor, Prof. Hafuz, to defect from APC to PDP and promised him the Kano PDP governorship ticket. The same Kwankwaso promised Alhaji Little the same ticket. He promised two other top PDP guys the same ticket. When they all discovered that he had promised each one of them the same single ticket, and was only deceiving them all, they demanded primaries. Kwankwaso deceived them and agreed to go for primaries. In the end, NO primary election was held in Kano, Kwankwaso simply sent the name of his son-in-law, Yusuf, to INEC (in cahoots with eternal 2nd-position-taking PDP National Chairman, Uche Secondus) as PDP candidate! He has his negatives, like all politicians, but say/write you may, Bola Tinubu is a PROFESSOR OF POLITICS! The way the guy negotiates, and disarms other opposing politicians' resistance is amazing. This may be the reason his political sons always returned to him even after they had left (and hurt) him in the past. Some other big politicians would have thought it an insult to have initiated a call to Alao Akala. People like Bukola Saraki would have been "so arrogant" to have gone to personally initiate negotiation with a retired police officer from tiny Ogbomosho. Dele Momodu was one of the big fools in journalism (is Dele ,Momodu truly a journalist but a yellow newspaper writer?) who are NOT from Kwara state, but who pumped up Bukola Saraki's ego like an inflated balloon! How could you stay in your holes in Lagos, Abuja, and Accra and be hailing a man who has almost zero political value in his home state? Kwara Central people have spoken; and they spoke SO LOUDLY! Serves him right! You may hate Tinubu for any reason but he is NOT a tribal bigot. Tinubu appointed an Anambra man, Ben Akabueze, as Commissioner for Budget & Economic Planning for 8 years and also kept him in the position under Fashola! The same Tinubu nominated the same Ben Akabueze as the current Director General (DG) Budget Office of Nigeria, Abuja; a position he has held since 2015. The same Tinubu nominated (and got elected) another Igbo man, Joe Igbokwe, as Publicity Secretary of the AC/ACN/APC in Lagos State for over 8 years (and still counting)! The same Joe Igbokwe is the MD of a Lagos State agency responsible for collection of state dues and levies at the ports. The agency is located in Apapa. Under the same Tinubu, a lot of Directors and Permanent Secretaries in Lagos are Igbo people! In my state, no non-indigene (even if from the same ethnic group) can ever be appointed a Director, let alone a Permanent Secretarr/DG, much less the huge one- Commissioner! Lagos state, its people and its political establishment, are the MOST TOLERANT OF NON-INDIGENES IN NIGERIA! FACT!!! A senior Rivers state politician told me, since last year, that Amaechi and Wike are working together for Wike to get an easy 2nd term! He said confidently that they are both playing "Ikwerre politics" (they are both indigenes of Ikwerre) and that he (Amaechi) fooled both Magnus Abe and Tonye Cole regarding the APC governorship bid. He said that the mutual insults between Wike and Amaechi in the newspapers and at campaign grounds were all a deliberate ruse! Fake! Amaechi told his closest boy, Dakuku Peterside, and he (Peterside) fully faced his job as NIMASA DG and refused to make any move regarding the 'fake APC candidacy'. These (Makarfi, Sule Lamido, Ekweremadu, and others) are senior party members they initially snubbed regarding Atiku’s campaign, but AFTER public outcry, they now created Technical Advisers role.
