Why are defectors ALWAYS in round figures- 1,000, 2,000, 3,000, 5,000, 10,000, 50,000?

It is never 1,312, 5,347, 10,152, 23,167!!! LOL.

Who counts the defectors one after another?

It is common knowledge in Adamawa state that Atiku owns Faro and it’s not a “pure water factory” like one in Ajegunle or Mushin in the manner portrayed.

The company makes both sachet water and bottled water. The picture used even showed Mohammed Atiku duly kitted in safety-ware and holding a pack of bottled water.

This is fake propaganda to make common people love Atiku- an irredeemably corrupt, vain capitalist “acting” to like the common man.

The dead House of Assembly member was one of the main PDP guys who impeached Fayose-nominated Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Ekiti House of Assembly, who were clearly stooges to Fayose. Fayose’s usurpation of their roles was always reported by the media. The funniest (and most irritating) one was when Fayose grabbed the gavel and approved the state’s budget all by himself!

Before he was attacked and shot, he had complained to the police about some people trailing his car; he even gave names of some well-known Fayose boys and other PDP members of the House who are Fayose’s loyalists.

With this background, how could any creature with a brain, let alone a human being, write here that Fayemi or APC killed the man?

If you were too young (or not even born) in 1992 when Chief Tony Anenih was the National Chairman of Social Democratic Party, SDP, and Chief Bola Tinubu was an elected (and very powerful) Senator under the same party, Google is there to confirm the thing Tinubu said in his press release!

Anenih, Tinubu, Atiku, Kingibe and others were the "General Shehu Musa Yar'Adua boys" in the SDP of those days...

Anenih and Tinubu only parted ways politically in the run-up to return of democracy in 1999... Even at that, they remained friends till the old man died.

He was Yobe State Governor for 8 years in Buhari's party, ANPP. Immediately after his 8-year tenure, under ANPP again, he got elected Senator, and he is currently running his 2nd term as Senator under APC; i.e. he has been enjoying government largesse for 16 consecutive years! As Governor, he appointed his wife, Khadijah Bukar Abba Ibrahim, as Commissioner during his 8-year reign! Hypocritical, nepotistic clown.

This same wife, Khadijah Bukar Abba Ibrahim, was elected a member of the Federal House of Representatives in 2011 while this clown was also elected into the Senate! This wife, was also appointed Minister of State Foreign Affairs by Buhari in 2015!

Did you know why he is bitter now? The current Governor of Yobe, Gaidam, has been elected as APC candidate for Bukar Ibrahim's seat in the Senate in 2019! He publicly endorsed the candidacy of the Governor and the media published the story with pictures.

How could a man that was Governor for 8 years, and Senator for another 8 years, whose wife was Commissioner under him for 8 years and the same wife was elected a Reps member and is currently a Minister not be satisfied?

It was this same shameless Bukar Abba Ibrahim, whose wife is always covering up herself, that was caught on camera fucking prostitutes in a cheap Abuja brothel last year!

Hypocrites. If he had been allowed a 3rd term in the Senate, he wouldn't have said this. Is it today he realized that Nigerians are suffering?

Amosun and Obasanjo are from the same Owu homestead of Abeokuta. They have always been known to maintain a father-son relationship since Amosun left his accounting practice in Lagos to join Ogun state politics almost 20 years ago.

No matter the political party Amosun belonged in the past and now, he had always fraternized with, publicly respected, and glowingly praised Obasanjo. He did this to OBJ when he was a Senator in ANPP, and PDP, and even as an ACN Governor and now as an APC Governor.

A lot of folks on NR write responses regarding things they know absolutely nothing about. Some people also do not follow news in the media to know about the past. Is it about age or simply about acute laziness to read? If it is age, isn't Google there?

Some of us were born when there were no desktop in Nigeria (let alone laptop or smart phones) but we read newspapers and listened to news, etc on TV as though our lives depended on them! LOL.

People should ask any Ogun state indigene about their (Amosun and OBJ's) relationship before foaming in the mouth about any fake, contrived gang-up against anyone.

The woman (presidential candidate) is Igbo! She’s from Enugu state. She’s fairly well known; she grants interviews and speaks on TV stations.

The last, so-called "Ekiti State budget presentation" by Fayose was the most bizarre, most irritating budget session on the floor of any House of Assembly I have ever seen.

Fayose even had the temerity to ask you: "Are you the Speaker?", to which you stupidly responded: 'No Sir, you are the Speaker"; and he subsequently announced to everyone in the lobby and on the floor, striking the gavel (symbol of authority of the Speaker) on the table, "the budget is hereby approved"!

It is common to see Governors pocket members of the House of Assembly and their principal officers, but the current House of Assembly under Fayose takes the first prize in being the most useless, spineless, powerless, and ineffective House of Assembly in the history of Nigerian politics!

The sociology of the voter population in Nigeria has no relationship with the social media. The average masses’ population do not have access to social media- largely, only undergraduates, young professionals, etc use social media. Even in Lagos, having seen the people who voted out Ambode in the primaries (several videos are in the public domain), majority of them know nothing about Twitter!

You will “win elections” on social media but LOSE actual elections! Lol.

Is this the way to win elections?

The unserious Jimi Agbaje guy loses elections, goes into hiding for almost 4 years without any single statement made or political activity done; but returns 4 months to election to start seeking votes!

He did this daft thing in 2011 under one fake party and also did it in 2015 under PDP.

This time:

1. There is no "free, almost endless Jonathan money" to be shared to traditional rulers, market women, opinion leaders, students' union officials, etc in Lagos.

2. There are no tribal sentiments to be played up in Ajeromi-Ifelodun, FESTAC, Aguda in Surulere, Oshodi, etc.

3. All the 7 House of Assembly members who won elections through the strategy in 2 above have defected to APC since 2017.

4. There is no rigging machine headed by Musiliu Obanikoro. He has returned to Tinubu and his son, Jide Obanikoro, was given the APC Federal House of Representatives ticket for Eti-Osa yesterday.

Jide Sanwo-Olu and his team should start rejoicing.

IF this is true (that Tambuwal is the anointed candidate), and I write a big IF, Buhari and his team should hold a celebratory all-night party on Sunday!

Could this be “the Wike deal with Buhari to retain his Governor seat in Rivers state” that the loquacious PDP unofficial PRO, the boy called Deji Adeyanju, has been propagating on social media since over a week?

Tambuwal is the weakest aspirant of the top-6 list of aspirants!

Oga Senate President (SP) was a PDP presidential aspirant and a certain Alh. Gold ‘won’ the Kwara Central Senatorial ticket after the party’s primary election.

After the party gave the PDP presidential ticket to President Goodluck Jonathan, the Electoral Act provision that allows any political party’s candidate to ‘willingly’ inform INEC of withdrawal from a candidacy before election was invoked and oga SP became the ‘new’ candidate.

After oga won his senatorial election, the ‘substituted candidate’, Alh. Gold, was ‘compensated’ for a job well delivered with the very senior position of Secretary to the State Government, SSG of Kwara State- a position he has held from 2011 till this minute.

These useless social media opinion polls and online voting haven’t stopped yet?

Majority of the Nigerian voter population do not have time for irrelevant social media polls but they have PVCs! This has been proven time and time again. If in doubt, check the queues of voters shown on television in recent and past elections, including the internal Lagos APC governorship primary election held only yesterday.

Buhari will be re-elected next year. Take it to the bank!

Contrary to the expectations and suggestions of ignorant people, Governor Akinwumi Ambode has accepted the party’s decision.

His acolytes who were urging him to fight the party think it is all about billions of naira or power to sign government cheques and control of FAAC/JAAC accounts!

In the politics of Nigeria, today, those who hold the levers of power are those who control the party’s “electoral machine. This machine percolates through the wards, CDAs, LCDAs, LGAs, traditional rulers, transport unions, opinion leaders, senior citizens, pensioners and retirees, etc.

This is the reason experienced politicians like Bola Tinubu, Bukola Saraki, Wammako, and a few others have their states on a lock-down. It has nothing to do with the level of education, exposure, or smartness of the residents of those states.

You don’t control “political structure/political machine” and you wanted to fight any godfather? It’s a fruitless adventure! It is akin to political suicide!

Tinubu does it in Lagos, since 2007. He is about to impose Jide Sanwo-Olu as APC governorship candidate.

Saraki does it in Kwara, since 2011. He has just imposed Rasaq Atunwa as PDP governorship candidate.

Shettima did it yesterday in Borno. He has imposed Prof. Babagana Zulum as APC governorship candidate.

Kwankwaso did it this morning in Kano, after having done it in 2015. He has just imposed his son-in-law, Yusuf as PDP governorship candidate.

Dakwambo did it this morning in Gombe. He has just imposed Bayero Nafada as PDP governorship candidate.

Al-Makura did it yesterday in Nasarawa. He has just imposed A.A. Sule as APC governorship candidate.

Every Governor we have had since democracy returned in 1999, across ALL political parties, has sought to impose his successor on his party and the electorate!!!

Before them, Jim Nwobodo (Enugu), Chimaroke Nnamani (Enugu), Liyel Imoke (Cross River), Godswill Akpabio (Akwa-Ibom), and many others did the same thing. They imposed their successors on the people.

Therefore, anyone who praised Saraki for imposition should not insult Tinubu for the same issue! Anyone, being an APC or PDP supporter, who takes sides regarding this is a bloody hypocrite!

I have read some well-informed reactions just as I have read some pathetically uninformed ones, especially from persons who know nothing about Kwara.

Now, the facts:

1. Senate President Bukola Saraki was not in Ilorin during the inconclusive primary election held on Sunday; but he flew into Ilorin late on Sunday night after the commotion and fracas at the venue.

2. Before the primary was disrupted, Bolaji Abdullahi, a cerebral aspirant and tested Saraki ally, was leading by as much as 95% after Ifelodun local government delegates voted. It was when Asa local government delegates were voting that thugs (suspected to be Atunwa’s thugs) stormed the location and disrupted voting, and people ran for their lives.

3. It was SP Bukola Saraki who started applying pressure on the other candidates from Sunday night till Monday afternoon, especially Bolaji Abdullahi, to withdraw for his anointed candidate, Rasaq Atunwa. Following this, Ali Ahmad announced his withdrawal but others, including Bolaji Abdullahi, simply stayed away (boycotted) the venue of the primary, having seen that SP Saraki was hell-bent on imposing Atunwa.

4. Out of the front-runner candidates in PDP, it should have been Bolaji Abdullahi, Dr. Ali Ahmad, and Zakari Mohammed, in that order. Atunwa seemed to be the one without a mind of his own, despite his London accent; a complete stooge with no original ideas, as opposed to Bolaji and Ali, who are intellectuals with proven track records. Atunwa is the exact persona of the current Governor, Abdulfattah Ahmed- a picture of a subordinate Governor- a complete errand boy.

5. APC members, sympathizers, and other Kwarans who are neutral to both parties, are already jubilating in Ilorin after news hit town that Atunwa had been elected as PDP candidate.

6. For people who are not resident in Kwara State, or who are not indigenes of the state, but are making unfounded comments, I say emphatically that Saraki has committed a grave political blunder for foisting Atunwa on the party as candidate.

7. Atunwa is the weakest candidate among the front-running 5 candidates in the primaries. Atunwa is well-known to be aloof, arrogant, and very, very stingy; he has zero social/grassroots connection with Kwarans, and he is seen as completely useless in terms of attracting votes to the party. You may ask almost everyone who had worked with him since 2003 when Bukola Saraki appointed him into the cabinet, on the recommendation of his father, late Sen. Abubakar Olusola Saraki, who fortuitously met Atunwa in London and invited him into Kwara politics.

8. It might interest you all to note that whereas candidates such as Bolaji Abdullahi, Ali Ahmad, and others toured almost all the local governments in the state between August and end of September, Atunwa was the ONLY aspirant who did not do any tour beyond some few areas in Ilorin metropolis. It was as though he was already sure of the ticket and needed not to waste money touring anywhere.

9. In my view, and in the view of informed Kwarans, who know and read the political barometer in the state, Bukola Saraki has dug his own grave by anointing Atunwa. Senior APC people exchanged several text messages yesterday rejoicing over the choice of Atunwa. One of them said that they were largely afraid of Bolaji Abdullahi (or Ali Ahmad to an extent) emerging as candidate, but with Atunwa, it’s a walk-over!

10. This imposed candidate, Atunwa, might be the end of Saraki’s hold on the politics of Kwara. In the Ilorin Emirate where Atunwa claimed to have originated, Asa local government being part of Ilorin Emirate, he is hated with passion. Atunwa cannot win a single polling booth in Ilorin.

11. One diehard Saraki follower told me yesterday, that: “How will we sell Atunwa to the electorate? Leader (Saraki, that is) has killed us patapata. Atunwa? How When we had Bolaji and Ali Ahmad!”

12. The only thing APC in Kwara State needs to do is to ensure credible primaries and the emergence of a democratically-elected candidate; and this Atunwa clown will be easily defeated. Anything short of that may affect their chances.

These are facts!

The daftie called Ortom, who owes workers’ salary for many months and pension payments for years, in spite of receiving several handouts from the FG; and who has no single project attributable to his reign of over 3 years seeks 2nd term!

Since we like rewarding failure in Nigerian politics, Benue people will likely re-elect the nincompoop.

Aregbesola’s SSG until a few months before the election, Moshood Adeoti (popularity called “Shehu”), who defected to ADP, got over 49,000 votes, majority of which came from Iwo LGA. If he hadn’t defected, APC would have easily thrashed PDP last Saturday and there would not have been the need for any re-run today.

I’m happy about this unconsciously open confession by Fani-Kayode. So, Ayo Adebanjo, at over 90, is supporting PDP and actually called Omisore on phone to support PDP in Osun State? Amazing!

The same Afenifere people who hate Obasanjo with unqualified passion? The lowlife, old men in Afenifere who cannot win elections in front of their homes anywhere are closet PDP supporters!

Since Jonathan lost in 2015 and the belated Chief of Staff position given to Arogbofa’s younger brother by Jonathan in 2014 (after Yorubas cried about marginalization in Jonathan’s Government) became untenable, and cash was not flowing from Abuja anymore, Afenifere people (Adebanjo, Odumakin, Shonibare, and others) have become bitter with anything regarding APC. This FFK confession confirms that view.
