seanet01: Mr. Grammar,I guess the above typical response from a bigoted loafer indicated your intent was moronic. Please enjoy the foolishness. As for the grammatical part, I say keep trolling. |
Was it vandalized or did the building collapse on its own weight?! I read that story and looked for evidence of vandalization and there was none. How was it vandalized?! Using Bulldozers?! Using Explosives?! Using Sledge hammers?! how?! Or did they just show up one morning to a collapsed building and immediately tagged it vandalism?! More light needs to be shed on the story first before anything else..
You have once claimed to be an engineer but when on issues pertaining to engineering, you write like a handyman. How on earth could you look or discern if a structure collapsed due to unbalanced loads, flaw design, use of substandard materials or sabotage by mere reading from newspaper report not prepared by a forensic engineer? |
seanet01: Who is ojukwuThe above post is classic in the sense of being intentionally moronic and grammatically irresponsible? |
It is morally irresponsible and politically wickedness for any government to incumbent its citizens with the task of cleaning hazardous materials (Hazmats). Most of Fashola’s actions are bigotry at best. Governance is more than banning of Okada , closing of markets and acting as a clown. |
Eko Ile: What solution do you suggest the state look.for before taking action? It is the government’s responsibility to clean up places such as market square. The government of Fashola in Lagos State has failed abysmally to lead by examples. Whatever you and airheads in Lagos State government called hazardous materials and fluids seemed to have been identified. Yet the government of Fashola has not proffer simple solutions such as collection tanks and crushing machine foe scrap metals. Governance is far from ceremonial cutting of ribbons and smiling like jackasses in front of camera lens. |
^^^The above junk is simply laughable. |
Nigerians are not qualified to sit in a room where democracy, as system of government, is discussed talk less conduct it. Nigerian styled so-called democracy breeds bigots, despots and diabolical fools. The environmental issues of any market are sole responsibilities of local government that collect taxes. If Nigeria is close to being country instead of jungle, the molested traders can sue the Lagos State government for it’s worth. |
Topic should be: "IGBO Criminals paraded in Lagos for unruly and disorderly behaviour"
Nothing less was expected from inherent loudmouthed pig such as you. A trader in a legally constituted market square becomes criminal because idiotic government failed to uphold its commitment on environmental issues. In farmers market or any open market in developing countries, the local government is responsible for the environmental matters. |
The thread is moronically titled or captioned. It is should have read “Rochas Okorocha’s appointees in Imo State back him on APC. |
Your list is incomplete nwanne. Please give us a few names of Igbo Army Officers who were spared because they did not resist arrest during the Nzeogwu Igbo coup.
There is no doubt your question is misguided and had no intentions to seek the truth. I guess your question should center on the number of Igbo officers of Nigerian army who had command positions capable of truncating the coup and deeply involved in the tribal politics of the era in discussion. |
T9ksy: Of course! Nzeogwu didn't identify himself with the ibos 'cause he was a very rare patriotic nigerianIt is funny to read from confused and delusional bigots. In their melancholic ways, Yoruba peeps will manufacture an Igbo person who does not indentify with Igbo hence he\she is a patriotic Nigerian. What a laughable joke. Must every soldier involved in precipitating a coup have an opportunity to pull the trigger? Nigerians are chronically funny. |
@OP There was no doubt some truths will come to the surface one day. In a hastened attempt to blackmail Biafrans, Yoruba peeps will continue to shoot themselves on the foot as well as the foot of other southerners on Biafran issues. One Dede1 has argued, correctly if I may add, that Yoruba and other southern ethnic groups had joined the fight against Biafra on or before August 8, 1967. Even though the hack writer in Damola Awoyokun might have stumbled onto few truths in the skewed essay, he still regurgitated conjectures as facts. |
@OP Why the noise about nothing for Oluwa’s sake? When did streetlights become achievable merits? There were streetlights from Iddo to Ikorodu since Lagos existed as a town or colony. |
@OP The answer to thread’s question is no in capital letters. Nigeria can not become country talk less a nation without solid source of energy. Even with abundant source of energy, it takes quality human beings to organize it. It is beyond the pale of human imagination to fathom why a person with well organized social order will term Nigeria a country. |
Andre Uweh: To the 3 contestants: Onlytruth, Alex and Biafra rep. What would have necessitated the above incongruous insinuation other than brazen niche for intellectual laziness? Even a Yoruba peep could not have done better. What did Fajuyi use in the defense of Aguiyi? Lt Col Francis Fajuiyi had no command of gatemen talk less of sentries. It is a factual fact that Aguiyi’s ADC, Flt-Lt. A Nwankwo, tried to put up a fight but was outgunned by the coup plotters. Fajuyi’s ADC, Lt. Umar, was a precipitant in the coup. |
My dear brother/sister it is not necessary that you must be aggressive while making your points. Odumchi was and still our Eze for now until new eze emerge. Please show him some respect, though one can disagree with Eze or a leader but must not show his/her disagreement in harsh manner. Thanks.
What respects were you talking about in the above post? My people say respect begets respect. The Odumchi insulted the collective integrity of those who elected him to the Ezeship by taken unilateral decision to abdicate. The moment this body of Ndigbo Nairaland accepted his resignation, it signed the end of his authority on the stool. Eze Ndigbo Nke Abua was not incapacitated due to health reasons or otherwise. He shunned the throne. It will amount to child’s play for Odumchi to talk about his decision. What decision if I may ask? |
cheddarking: I find the above questions very pertinent as they are almost a verbatim description of my current situation. This is one of the reasons a member of my family will not marry outside my ethnic group. A full-fledged Igbo person or even half-bloodied Igbo person with proper cultural education will not vomit the above crap. Whether Biafra is pipe or wood dream, it was\is dream. It is unfortunate a dream is tagged diversionary tactic. May I ask diversionary tactic against what\who? The last time I check though, Nigeria is an embodiment diversionary tactics. |
odumchi: My decision on this is that the incoming Eze will finish the rest of my tenure. When the time comes, elections will take place as usual.I suggest you keep your invalid decision in your traveling bag because it lacks the authority of the office and you are already on a journey. |
odumchi: I already addressed this issue earlier. The resignation of an Eze does in no way affect an Eze Nwaanyi, and vise versa. The position of Eze is entirely separate from that of an Eze Nwaanyi since both require separate elections. Even though the constitution doesn't speak on this issue, I said that this current re-election process will serve as an example of how all future cases are to be handled. This is arrant nonsense. The tenure of Eze Ndigbo Nke Abua of Nairalanad terminated the moment the aforementioned Eze abdicated his throne. We are not bunch of nimrods that will listen to Eze whose staff of office was surrounded the moment he announced his resignation. Again, Eze Ndigbo Nke Abua of Nairaland has left town already. |
The moment I stumbled onto the live coverage of the soccer match between Nigeria and Burkina Faso, I initially thought the boys in white jersey were Nigerians and the boys in green were Burkinabes. In fact, Burkinabes were better with the ball than Nigerians. |
Burkina Faso boys played better viewable soccer than Nigerians. The Nigerian boys were characteristically wasteful in the attack and never learnt that scoring is not exclusive destiny of a person few meters from the goalkeeper. If Nigerians keep playing in the manner they played today, they will not make it to the second round. |
Why was Emir of Kano not flown to Islamic country? What a hypocritical dog. |
Rochas Owelle Okorocha has nothing to do with free education at lower stanzas in Imo State because the cost is covered by federal government through UBE. |
Is pyguru a program or confused moderator? The jerk pops up everywhere with regrettable censorship. If it is a program, I suggest serious modification. If a moderator, he\she needs to be demoted and sent where Sun does not reach. |
ilugunboy: Say what ever you fancy ...the truth is in the open, only delusional nuts like you will refuse to learn from real historical facts and not "personal experience" of another deluded senile old man.Nigeria is a historical experience and it shows in every facet of life with retrogressive tendencies. Based on your silly posts, it is safe to say you can not notice the truth even when it is under your nose. It is inhumanly funny to watch Hausa, Fulani, Knauri, Tiv, Angas and Nupe that led Yoruba into Britain-Nigeria\Biafra civil war appear to be keep quiet over the war. While in the other hand, the followers appear to be noisy and boastful about the war |
He has been very busy perfecting his magical skills. |
The talks of federalism in Nigeria are loads of copout. It is even ludicrous to mention formative stages of USA in the same sentence with Nigeria. There are no bases for unity in Nigeria hence the essence of patriotism continues to elude country. If Nigerians fail to sue for peaceful disengagement from the colonial contraption now, the future will certainly expose them to war of disintegration. |
I am certain that Nigeria would have existed only in the history books. |
ilugunboy: When your fathers and the hausas were slaughtering one another in the scorching earth of the eastern wasteland...Pa Awo was in a comfortable room calculating the math of how to end the war as quickly as possible to minimise human loss...The above post is a typical stream of thought from a person who has stuck his\her head in hot sand. |
what exactly was Ojukwu expecting the war to be? he sat on a republic and new states were created to isolate biafra and non-igbo minorities were pulled from under him. he sat on millions of pounds he confiscated from cbn and even though he had early warnings tgat the currency would be changed at a future date, he still sat there like a zombie and waited for the change to go through before he realized biafra needed its own currency. what a dummy!!
Of course, Ojukwu knew what war is all about so he never wasted his precious time fabricating nonsensical craps or sitting historical fact on its head like Yoruba peeps do. Only dummy such as you would insinuate that any reasonable fellow will sit on bank notes when the aforementioned currency has been changed. I hope Nigerian educational system has ceased to crank out ill-informed school-leavers such as you. |
