President Buhari was billed to visit an ultra modern hospital built by Yahaya Bello. The hospital is said to have medical equipments that no other hospital in Nigeria has. The hospital is about 200 meters from the blast site. I bet the president's visit has been cancelled.

Get a 5G phone and if possible, get the MTN 5G router also. The advantage of a router or MiFi is that you can place them in spots where network is best in your house, and then connect to them from anywhere within your house.

For iPhones, Apple, by default, doesn't support 5G networks. A carrier (MTN) has to ask Apple to include support for its own 5G network via software update. Apple has included support recently for MTN 5G via the Beta software program. So, if you have an iPhone 12, 13, 14, opt into the beta program, and download and install the lastest beta. Thereafter, you should be getting the 5G network. In the future, regular iPhone updates will continue to support MTN 5G.

For Samsung, it's the same for some of their devices, especially flagships. However, unlike Apple, Samsung is yet to officially push support for MTN 5G. So, you may find that MTN 5G works on Samsung devices and not others, even though they are same model, but different variant.

You need a 5G MiFi that supports band N78 to access MTN 5G, and I don't think there is a 5G MiFi in the Nigerian market at the moment. However, if you can get a universal MiFi that supports 5G band N78, then yes, it will work.
By the way, 5G MiFis are very expensive.

that's a lovely internet speed in Nigeria but it still can't beat unlimited data of 12-30MBps which starlink offers. If MTN wants to destroy any chance of starlink becoming popular in Nigeria, they should just offer true unlimited data for 30k per month and enable nationwide 5g coverage

Given the price of the kit, which is $600, that translates to over #450,000 or more using the prevailing exchange rate, it can never be popular in Nigeria, unless they drastically reduce it. Notwithstanding the monthly $43 sub, which is great, in my opinion.

There is nothing wrong with the screenshot. In fact, one can get better speed in some areas were 5G coverage is very good.

Below is a speedtest I just did now.
I carried out this test using a Xiaomi Poco f4. You might get better speed on other devices with better modem and antenna.

Initial payment is very expensive, given the dollar black market exchange rate. Otherwise, the monthly unlimited price is very cheap.

The average 5G speed gotten in most parts of the world, including US, UK and everywhere else where 5G NSA is deployed is the same speed I get on MTN 5G.
