It was to the Alison's who lost 10(wife,4 young children,and relations).

Why would it end just like this?
You may say it is a coincidence. Remember he's travel so well in America(with over 100,000 flights a day) without loosing his loved children and wife.
But in Nigeria that records less than 100 flights a day, He lost everything.
My Yoruba and Ibo brothers in North have invested and thought it was time to reap the labour of years of labour. Most were killed in several attacks in recent time which you are aware of. What is the essence of those years of labour when they are not guaranteed safety.
I repeat, that Brazil can bring all they have to nigeria as you want, but Insecurity will destroy their billion dollars investment in minutes.
Good governance is not just in beging for help,

Many of the Brazilian investors can't even afford the airfare, talk less of hotel bills in Nigeria or feeding allowance. They say Nigeria is too far!

I had to beg and beg. On top of that, we have to pay for their first class airfare to Nigeria, close the airport 3 hours before they arrive/depart, 5-star accommodation, and other "state hospitalities" I am not at liberty to mention in public.

The fourth mainland bridge is ready according to the last update here on Nairaland.

The third mainland bridge was getting to dangerous and needed repairs FAST !!!

It is about time we look into the Niger bridge before we kill people for no reason.

boladez: I can stick out my neck for Lagos state because they seem to be the most organised public system in Africa. I am certain Lagos state is not aware that the lousy FGN civil servants have planned to shut the bridge without adequate information and notice. I am sure the LASG will issue a statement and guidelines on the maintenance. Most likely the date will be postponed and LASG will do the right thing to think of ways of mitigating the inconvenience. The last time they planned to shut down the Adekunle portion of the bridge Lagos state had to postpone it and deployed resources to ease traffic flow.

This is my problem with the FGN, they are big for nothing and their powers should be reduced to grant more powers to the regional and state governments. The FGN is just being run, administered and managed by a bunch of corrupt imbeciles who have NO capacity to think and add value to the lives of Nigerians. All they think of is stealing and looting. I have no issues with a ten month repair on the bridge but they do need to organise themselves so that they can give people time to plan and also have a structured and published plan to ease traffic during the period. This type of notice should have been given a month before the actual closure.
