Did minister Sylva conduct a thorough investigation about why Nigeria cannot meet OPEC oil production quota?
I don't think so, and here is why:
looting of oil by Nigerians at the point of production is the real reason Nigeria cannot meet OPEC allocated quota. Some Nigerian oils workers along with foreign oils workers team up to steal oils during shipment to overseas. After the oils are shipped overseas, Nigerian oil workers, travel to overseas countries to get their share of the loots. That is the true reason why Nigeria would never meet OPEC required quota.

I know minister Sylva knows about this kind of activities, but he does not want to dig into it for fear he might lose his job. He is from South/South geopolitical--which is the heart of Nigeria oil production. The bottom line is, minister Sylva looks bad by putting out this false information.

I agreed 100% with Mr. Itse Sagay that this case will be appealed by the losing parties: governor Umahi and the lawmakers. But on what ground? There is nothing strategic ambiguity here.
Definitely, i cannot see this judgement overturned by the Supreme court execept that, in Nigeria, judges are in court to make money. The 1999 constitution of Nigeria clearly and cleverly clarified what would happened if an elected official defected from one party to another.

So, is the Supreme court going to say both the constitution and the trial judge are wrong?
I pray it does not happen because it will be an attempt by the Supreme court to end the practice of democracy in Nigeria.

I don't think it is relevant at all. And here is why:
1)In 2003, Chuba Okadigbo/ Mohammadu Buhari presidential ticket lost in a blowout against OBJ. And in fact that ticket only got 5% of total votes in general election
2) in 2011, Edwin Ume Ezeeoke/Mohammadu Buhari vs Goodluck Jonathan ticket lost in a blowout, getting only 18 % of general election votes
3) in 2019, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi vs Mohammadu Buhari lost in a blowout.

So, I want to know why anyone would continue to fill Ibo candidate in any major political party. Ibos contribute nothing to the national treasury. Nigeria imports everything and produces nothing except crude oil. Nigeria is a country of over 400 plus tribes.

The issue of qualification for elected office in Nigeria has been settled by the 1999 constitution. So, Atiku Abubakar should contest upcoming presidential election, either as an independent candidate or within the platform of existing political party in Nigeria, full stop

Very shameful to hear a major political party to public announced it has zoned 2023 party flag bearer. first, it is unconstitutional. Second, i am so happy the presidency of Nigeria is not zoned, but the party flag bearer. I hope the reader of this story should know that APC does not zone the Presidency of Nigeria, but the party flag bearer. And please take note. And third, I hope PDP will not follow APC route. PDP should conduct party primaries and who ever emerges as a winner, gets the ticket to represent the party in 2023 presidential elections.

This announcement by APC that it has zoned 2023 party flag bearer to the south, should bring good news to PDP for many reasons. First, all the metrics for 2023 presidential elections in Nigeria are in favor of PDP winning presidency of Nigeria. Second, President Buhari job approval has tanked to 17%.

90% of Nigerians are dissatisfied with the direction Nigeria is heading under President Buhari, according to research studies. Unemployment rate in Nigeria is 33 %. Security situation in Nigeria has become worst under Buhari.

This begs one question: Who wants the next president of Nigeria to be headed by APC? I cannot see it!
Finally, the only way PDP can lose 2023 presidential election is to nominate its party flag bearer from Southeast. And here is why:
1.In 2003 presidential election, Buhari/Chuba Okadigbo got obliterated in defeat
2. In 2007 Presidential election, Buhari / Edwin Ume Ezeoke got obliterated in defeat
3. in 2015 presidential election, Atiku Abubakar/ Peter Obi got obliterated in defeat

When are we going to learn from past mistake?
So, my advice to PDP, pick a northern Muslim man or woman and South/South candidate, the result will be victory.

Forging academic credentials to get something they don't deserve is typical of Nigerians way of life. Is this fair? Absolutely not.
Why this behavior continues to take place is because most Nigerians have gotten away uncaught. But there a way to avoid it. In the US and EU countries , employers only accept academic credentials directly from institutions claimed by the job applicants.

So and hopefully, the Nigerian governments and other hiring institutions will adopt this method--- going forward.

Calling On EFCC to Investigate Akwa Ibom State Gov. Emmanuel for Corruption

Akwa Ibom State governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel is corrupt. His public announced successor, Pastor Umo Eno before voters of Akwa Ibom State have a chance to cast their votes provides damning evidence in this case.

So, what is election for?
Election is a process by which majority of Akwa Ibom state citizens will have to choose who they want to represent them as their governor. To governor Emmanuel, election is a bad way to choose a governor. Furthermore, governor Emmanuel has figured out, election in Akwa Ibom State can produce someone who is opposed to ways he has handled the affairs of the state for the past 8 years--- prompting his investigation.

And governor Udom Emmanuel has all the reasons in the world to be afraid of next state governor who may not be on his side. And here is why?

Ibom Air
Where did governor Emmanuel get money to buy Ibom Air?
That money comes federal revenues allocated to the state for the benefits of all citizens of the state. Airline travel is for the rich people. 90% of Akwa Ibom State citizens are poor and that means they cannot afford air travel. They cannot afford to pay rent, put food on the table for themselves and their families. Private sector jobs don’t exist in Akwa Ibom State to hire people. And when you see someone in Akwa Ibom State with a pay check, that pay check comes from government workers. So, there no secret here that governor Udom Emmanuel investment in airline business is for private gains. The poorest citizens of the state are totally left out of money allocated for benefit all the citizens of the state. This in my view, has factored into governor Emmanuel decision to choose his successor before election to prevent the possibility of him getting investigated after leaving office and if someone opposed to Udom Emmanuel is elected.

Undermining State development
When governor Udom Emmanuel used federal allocated revenues to invest in airline business, it undermines the state development governor Attah started in 1999. On assumption of office in 1999, former governor, Mr. Victor Attah began massive investment in road projects. That kind of investments drew praises from both his friends and enemies. After governor Emmanuel became governor of Akwa Ibom State in 2015, I thought he was going to continue with road building to connect all the 31 local governments in the state. Roads provide access to employment, social events, health services, education services and help to fight poverty. That is what I was hoping for under governor Emmanuel.

No, he would not do that. Instead, he diverted revenues to areas that benefits him and his cronies most. He knows it and that is why he preempted 2023 governorship election in the state to choose his successor. That is corruption, period.

Harming vulnerable citizens
Key to building good economy that works for every citizen in a society is deployment of public transportation. Instead of investing in Ibom Air business, governor Udom Emmanuel should have invested in public transportation—like public buses. With 31 local governments in Akwa Ibom State, buying and distributing 300 buses to local governments in Akwa Ibom State would have led to the hiring of good paying jobs for over 100, 000 workers for first year and another 200,00 for the second year. These workers can include bus drivers, auto mechanics, clerks, order takers, engineers, advertisers, accountants, auditors, salespeople, technology experts and much more. Airline business can never provide many hiring opportunities like investment in public transportation. By ignoring investment in road transportation business, young and old people are left out of opportunities to get jobs---risking them to committing crimes.

The citizens of Akwa Ibom State need transparency and accountability on whole lots of issues; how federal revenues allocated to the state has been spent; why young people in the state cannot find work? why they are so many of our young girls getting pregnant? why citizens of Akwa Ibom state have not been hired to work in important positions of Nigeria government; and much more. For 8 years, governor Udom Emmanuel has not addressed these important questions. That is why we need new direction now.

Who Will be PDP Flag Bearer in 2023 Presidential Election?

People Democratic party (PDP) is favored by all the political metrics to win 2023 presidential election in Nigeria with one exception: Who will be PDP flag bearer in general election? Before I answer this important question, let me examine in details these metrics first.

President Buhari began presidency with public approval rating at 78% in 2015, according to NOIPolls. Today, President Buhari public approval rating is at 27% and his job approval rating stands at 17%, according to latest Statista Account access polls. Nigerians are totally dissatisfied with the direction of the country under President Buhari. Unemployment in Nigeria is at all-time high. And according to market economics latest number, unemployment rate in Nigeria is 33%. Students who graduate from schools cannot find work and they do not know what their future holds. Economic downturn is the worst in 27 years, according to BBC research report.

Furthermore, rising insecurity in Nigeria has no end in sight. Clashes between herders and farmers had resulted in the death of thousands of Nigerians, since President Buhari became president. Banditry and kidnapping—resulting in the kidnapping and adoption of school children have skyrocketed. Some reports said over five thousand people were kidnapped and adopted in 2021 alone.

These metrics are what voters in Nigeria will use to determine whether to keep the ruling party, APC or move in new direction---voting PDP into power. If I am in APC, I will be worried about holding on to power, given the above metrics. They represent the darkest side of government management in any Nigerian administration.

General speaking, when the ruling party records so many failures like we have seen in President Buhari administration, the opposition party—that is PDP wins the election. These metrics have proven to be right for many years. I have some examples here: US President Jimmy Carter, lost to Ronald Reagan in 1980. President George Bush, lost to Clinton in 1992. And most recently, President Donald J. Trump lost to Joseph Biden.

So, no one knows who PDP will choose as its party flag bearer until the conclusion of party primaries---which will produce the party flag bearer. However, one name which has been mentioned more often than others in PDP is former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

The Impact of religion in election
In talking to friends, Atiku Abubakar asset for PDP is because he is a Muslim and has experience in running national elections. His possible opponent, Mr. Bola Tinubu is a Muslim as well. If Bola Tinubu emerges as APC flag bearer, PDP will need a person with strong Islamic credentials to counter Bola Tinubu Muslim support in the north. What this means is that if PDP fills in a Christian as its party flag bearer, Bola Tinubu and APC party will sweep North and win the presidential election.

The area of Election Management that PDP should consider
When it comes to elections, the Southern states are very easy to predict winners and losers in elections. That is because candidates’ ethnic backgrounds play a major role in determining which party will win this or that state. Northern Nigeria states are similar to Southern states except that religion is the single most important factor in determining which party is likely to win a state. In 2015, president Goodluck Jonathan was favored to win states in S/S, S/E and majority of states in the North but lost all the 19 states in the North. President Goodluck Jonathan is a Christian and Muhammad Buhari is a Muslim. So, it can be argued that President Jonathan defeat in all the 19 Northern Nigerian states was because the winner of those Northern states, Mr. Buhari is a Muslim.
Who disagrees?

To be honest, the 1999 constitution of Nigeria does not say it is wrong to invite president or vice president to commission. The constitution simply states functions of each of the three branches of government (Federal, state and local governments). What we should do in Nigeria is to follow and apply what the constitution says, and not what we want to do. And we need to look past military era and focus on the constitution if we are going to save this fragile democracy in Nigeria.

Furthermore, when we do not follow the constitution, you are going to have Boko Haram, kidnapping in school, bandits, killing of innocent. The 1999 constitution is the only tool--which can be used to save this enterprise called Nigeria.

No, Vice president or the President of Nigeria should not be invited to commission projects executed by the state government. The governor of Benue state should take credit for all the finished projects in his state by commissioning the projects. The 1999 constitution of Nigeria is very clear on the role of federal, state and local governments.

Please governor Ortom of Benue state, do not invite President Buhari or Vice president Osinbayo to come and commission any projects you have executed. You should take credit for what you have done by commissioning those projects in person. The President or Vice President should commission federal projects. That is what the 1999 constitution of Nigeria says.

Nigeria is no longer under military role--which means military head of state is invited to commission projects. Under civilian role, state governor commission projects executed by the state, and the president commission federal projects. No state governor should invite the president of Nigeria to come to their state to commission projects. It is unconstitutional. Please read about separation of powers in 1999 constitution of Nigeria to understand role of executive branch of government.

More evidence is emerging to prove why Rotomi Amaechi is being embraced by Northern Nigerians Jihadist. First, he is building a university in Daura, the home town of president Buhari. That to me is corruption. Second, he is building light rail from all northern Nigerian states to Republic of Niger. Third, in 2015 he corroborated with the northern Nigerian muslim groups to deny then, president Goodluck Jonathan his reelection bid by going on national television, radios, and newspapers to brand president Jonathan as a tribalist.

Now, please look at the picture below. It shows why northern Nigerians did not vote to reelect president Goodluck Jonathan in 2015. Mr. Amaechi called former President Goodluck Jonathan a tribalist days before election took place. He repeated that statement many times.

Last week, I called Mr. Rotomi Amachi a bigot. I also said Mr. Amachi kissed ass to get the Muslims in the northern Nigeria to love him. Boy, did I get it right

Zoning is not democracy. It is a dictatorship. Election is a contest of ideas. That means the best ideas emerge the winner. First, it is undemocratic. Zoning is a system that is controlled by one person or a smaller number of people. It will lead to monopoly of authority. Unconstitutional laws will be passed—leading to restrictions of citizens rights. Zoning will promote minority exclusions in appointments and hiring of citizens. Zoning will promote court parking—allowing the president to appoint judges from one tribe to fill all the judicial positions. President Buhari administration sets this example when in 2020, President Buhari appointed 11 Northern Nigerians Muslims without a single Christian. It should never be allowed.

Furthermore, think about the time, the money and resources Nigeria has invested to get democracy to work for all Nigerians. And to turn around and say, we want zoning, it will diminish Nigeria competitive edge in the areas of transportation, economic development, infrastructures development, education investment, military advantage against terrorist groups like Boko Haram, Islamic state, IPOB and much more.

In contrast, democracy involved getting all eligible citizens involved in the selection of the leader of a country. In a recent interview with BBCnews titled “Today” a former governor of Jigawa State and PDP stelwlart, Alhaji Sule Lamido said he was not supporting zoning because it will setback Nigeria. And I agree with the former governor, 100%. Democracy protects the interest of all citizens. It helps to make good citizens. It prevents monopoly of authority. It promotes equality in work and all human activities.

Second, zoning political offices (federal, States, and local governments) in Nigeria will produce a weaker and compromised leader. In 2015 when Mohammdu Buhari was campaigning for president of Nigeria, he promised to end insecurity in Nigeria, create million of jobs for citizens, end corruptions and match the value of local currency with US dollars. After seven years in office, President Buhari has not fulfilled a single one of those promises he made. The number of Nigerians dying as a result of insecurity has tripled since he took office, $1 is now N595, unemployment has increased from 17% to 37%, according the recent figures released by the Nigerian department of labor.

That has eroded President Buhari integrity and honesty among Nigerian public. As of today, million of Nigerians do not trust President Buhari handling of the country affairs. Many Nigerians have now raised questions about whether Mohammadu Buhari was truly elected by the Nigerian people. He is constantly opposed on many key issues like ending insecurity, creating economy that works for all Nigerians, improving infrastructures and improving the quality of education in Nigeria. President Buhari leadership represents the type of leader that zoning will produce—discriminations in government appointment, projects sharing formula, resources allocation, and much more.

Third, zoning political office in Nigeria will undermine the 1999 constitution. No place in the 1999 constitution of Nigeria calls for zoning. Instead, the constitution laid out criteria for choosing the presidency of Nigeria. I refer viewers of this article to Chapter V1, sections 13-135 of the 1999 constitutions of Nigeria

What Nigerians should do now is putting pressures on their lawmakers to amend the constitution to guarantee free and fair elections, to guarantee that votes cast are credited to proper candidates and no corrupt officials would be hired to work at INEC.

Nigerians should never allow selection of our leaders to be done by one person or small number of people. Never!
