Expel Akpabio, Udoedehe If You Want To Win Akwa Ibom, Group Asks APC
By TONY ITA ETIMTue, May 31, 2022

Senator John Udoedehe and Senator Godswill Akpabio
Movement For Better Nigeria, MFBN, has called on the national leadership of the All Progressives Congress, APC, to expel the party presidential aspirant, Senator Godswill Akpabio and the former interim national secretary of the party, Senator John Udoedehe from the Akwa Ibom State chapter of the party.

The Coordinator of the movement, Ambassador (Dr.) Paul Dowells made the advocacy in Uyo Akwa Ibom State while briefing newsmen on the outcome of the controversial governorship primaries of the APC.

Dowells explained, “I have called this press conference out of deep sense of moral and historical duty as a conscientious citizen of our dear State, Akwa Ibom State and a stakeholder in our party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the State on the perennial problems and faceoffs engineered by certain elements in the party who are out to destabilise the party and cause chaos in the state.

“We, as a group that advocates for good governance, say "Enough is enough!." We will no longer fold our arms and watch these people take us back to the dark days. It is said that when two elephants fight, the grass suffers. In this case, APC in Akwa Ibom suffers the fight between the two persons in the party which has led to the polarisation of the party.

“What we have been suffering in this state since 2011 is the OWNERSHIP and ENTITLEMENT mentality of a member who feels that without him there is No APC in Akwa Ibom, that is why we have remained down politically in the state.

Dowells stated that Akpabio and Udoedehe should be blamed if APC cannot win the 2023 general elections in Akwa Ibom and insisted that with the current crisis in the state chapter of the party, APC cannot win any position in 2023 general elections.

He suggested that Akpabio and Udoedehe should lay down their egos, pride, indifference, greed and self interest for the overall interest of the APC, and appealed to the national leadership of the address the issue of internal crisis and struggle for the soul of the party before the general elections.

Dowells insisted that the national leadership of APC should resolve the issue and not the court as some factions in the party are laying claims that the court gave recognition to their faction’s party leadership.

According to Dowells, the party is superior and no member can be bigger than APC, and lamented that the party leadership in the state only reckoned with people who were never of the party rather than loyal and committed members.

Dowells continued that with the Akpabio and Udoedehe camps contending for who is the authentic leadership of the party, APC members in the state are confused and do not know who to follow.

He explained that why he is suing for peace in the party is because the internal crisis within the party will make the next general elections a walkover for the PDP as in previous elections in the state.

The coordinator declared that Akwa Ibom State APC does not have any candidate for the 2023 general elections because of the outcomes of the various primaries which produce multiple candidates for all the positions.

What is the alternative here?
Allowing president Buhari and APC criminals to stay in power?
I don't think so.
Mr. Ayu resignation now because he is from the north is divisive and unhelpful to Atiku Abubakar campaign.
So, my advice to Mr Atiku Abubakar is keep all those who helped you to get the party nomination on board until after the elections are over. That way, you go to general election with common front in messaging.

I agree 100%!
Mr. Ayu should not resign until after 2023 elections are over. Atiku Abubaku cannot win northern Nigeria states alone without the help of somebody like Mr. Ayu. Right Now, Mr. Abubakar needs broad supports and not divisions. And southern leaders should end zoning talk because it is not a unifying message going into general election. Furthermore, keeping APC in power will be a disaster to all Nigerians. So, let unit to get rid of BUHARI and his cronies from power.

"Following his defeat at the People Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential primaries, Rivers state Governor Nyesom Wike has resolved to throw his weight behind the Presidential ambition of former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu, POLITICS NIGERIA can authoritatively report."

Pure lie!
Gov. Wike is trying to scare former Vice president Atiku Abubakar into picking him as his running mate. So, my advice to Atiku, don't pick Governor wike as your running mate because you will lose in general election match up either with Tinubu or Osinbayo. Gov. wike has bad temperament to be vice president or president.

And more importantly, his dress code is terrible. Gov. wike wears slippers in public-- a sign to indicate Nigeria is uncivilized nation. If Atiku wins and wike becomes Nigeria vice president, Gov. wike will wear slippers to UN and other governments places around the world.

Look at image of Gov. wike wearing slippers.
That is how the rest of the world will be thinking about Nigerians.

Do you really want a vice president of Nigeria wearing slippers in public?

Why Peter Obi Withdrew His Candidacy Hours Before PDP Presidential Primary.
By eeetuk.
Mr. Peter Obi’s withdrawal from PDP presidential primary hours before the contest began was intended to damage former vice President Atiku Abubakar chances and pushed someone else to defeat Mr. Abubakar, this according to multiple sources familiar with the situation. This news of Mr. Obi’s strategy was leaked out by someone in Mr. Obi’s campaign—who according to report, passed the communique to Mr. Abubakar campaign. Last hours, many staff from Atiku campaign are now thanking Mr. peter Obi staffer--who leaked the communique and has worked for vice president Atiku campaign as well in 2019.

Multiple sources said after Peter Obi withdrew his candidacy, he secretly endorsed Rivers State governor, Mr. Wike. The hope by Mr. Obi was that if all his supporters voted for governor wike, it would be difficult for Mr. Atiku Abubakar to win PDP presidential primary. Following this development, Vice president Atiku Abubakar reached out to Sokoto state governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal for help. That is why governor Tambuwal withdrew his candidacy at the last minutes and ordered his supporters to support Mr. Atiku Abubakar as a counter response, according to sources knowledgeable of the situation. And it worked.

In 2019, former vice President, Atiku Abubakar selected Peter Obi as his running mate. And the ticket lost to Mohammadu Buhari in a contest considered marred by frauds. So, why did Peter Obi dropped out of the race to harm Mr. Atiku Abubakar chances?
The short answer is Peter Obi did not want Atiku in the race because he will hurt his own chances.
So, stay tune for more on this developing story----------------------

PoliticsRe: 2023: My Presidency Will Bring Prosperity To All - Tinubu by eeetuk(m):
"The national leader of the All Progressives Congress and a presidential aspirant, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has promised that if elected he would bring economic prosperity, peace, security, and political stability to the country."

Is it too late for Mr. Bola Tinubu to start rolling out his policies?
In political campaigns, a candidate for election usually rolls out of their administration policie first, then, talk about themselves last. But Mr. Tinubu was doing the opposite. When Mr. Tinubu opened his presidential campaign a few months ago, he talked about how rich he is. He never talked about his vision and what he would do if elected until now. I bet you he has seen something most of us don't know about. My guess is that Mr. Tinubu has just realized vice president Osinbayo is surging ahead of him in upcoming APC primaries votes.

So, if Mr. Tinubu has the number to prove vice president Osinbayo has surged ahead of him in delegate counts, what Mr. Tinubu should do at this dying minutes is to start drawing contrast between his policies and those of Mr. Osinbayo. That will expose vice president Osinbayo temperament on how he will handle crisis ---allowing voters to choose between the two candidates.

I think Southwest geopolitical zone is going to decide whether Mr. Tinubu or Osinbayo receives APC presidential ticket. That is because no other APC presidential aspirants will fair well in delegates count during the primaries from the zone.

Violent Attack Rubbishes APC Governorship Primaries In A' Ibom
By AKANIMO KUFRE, Staff ReporterFri, May 27, 2022

Godswill Akpabio, former governor of Akwa Ibom leads a faction of the party recognised by the party's national secretariat
Violent attack on election material on Thursday in Akwa Ibom State marred the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primaries in the state.

Hundreds of the party faithful in the state waited for the arrival of voting materials for the primaries but the convoy was allegedly hit by violence on transit.

At about 6 pm, a violent video online showed an attack on the bus conveying the materials and possible diversion to an undisclosed location.

This incident caused party delegates to wait endlessly at the party secretariat for the arrival of officials and materials without success as of press time.

Earlier, Sen. Ita Enang told our reporter at about 5 pm that they were still expecting the arrival of officials to conduct the primaries.

It is unclear which factions were responsible for the attacks but as of 7 p.m. no elections were conducted and no statement was issued by party officials.

APC State Chairman, Stephen Ntukepko, did not respond to his call though some of the party delegates were disappointed with the absence of primaries and the lack of direction by the leadership of the party.

"Am not happy at all with what has transpired today. It is disgraceful. I sacrificed my time yesterday and barely slept. I was equally expecting to get some money as a delegate."

A lady simply identified as Madam Agi told reporters at the Stephen Ntukekpo led APC secretariat in Ekpo Obot.

At the Share Grace Arena, parallel APC primaries were expected to hold but did not as the only aspirant in the factions, John Udoedehde did not show up till late into the evening.

The attack has caused tensions and insecurity within the party secretariats and beyond. Some party loyalists say growing acrimony has caused uncertainty and fear for safety.

We are notified that certain individuals are being haunted by violent men as a result of no conduct of the primaries in Uyo.

Twitter is not a relying source of information!
Almost anybody who does not like governor wike can put out this kind of negative comment against wike. And more importantly, governor wike stands not chance to getting enough delegate to vote for him to become PDP flag bearer.
I pray governor will never become the president of Nigeria. And here is why:
Yesterday, a photo emerged in Nairaland showing governor wike appeared in public with slipper shoes on his feet.
Wearing slipper shoes in public viewing in2022?
Wearing slippers shows in public proves that governor wike is not a good decision maker.
Look, slippers are bedroom shoes. They are meant for poor people.
A governor is a remodel, and his dress appearance is going to be copied and practiced by people watching our leaders.
I do not want the governor of my state to be wearing slippers in public because it shows lack of civilization.

Nigeria's unity can be preserved with or without Ibo. Ibos are divider and not a uniter. When you listen to ibos talk, they always view themselves as the only solution to Nigeria problems. But where is evidence to support this stupid claim? And to the contrary, there is evidence to show that having ibos in the midst is problem. The state of Southeast today, proves it. Killings of innocence people in Southeast has skyrocketed. Today, Southeast is the hotbed for kidnappers and other forms of terrorisms. 60% of citizens of Southeast have migrated to Lagos, Abuja and other states in Nigeria to find better lives. No one or any other ethnic groups in Nigeria is responsible for the bad things going in the Southeast other than Ibos.

The only reason Ibos want Nigeria presidency is to use to CBN to flood Nigeria markets with foreign products. Import is job killer. Every time you spend $1 importing stuff to Nigeria, it kills 5 or more jobs. We have seen the effect of that in Southeast--that zone is totally deserted today. So, given the Presidency to Ibos is not a solution to Ibos problems. And instead, it will lead to exacerbation of existing problems.

Atiku beware!
Earlier this year, I predicted former vice President, Atiku Abubakar will be 2023 presidential flagbearer-representing PDP in 2023 in general election. Southern Nigerians VS Northern Nigerians: Which Side is Smarter?
By eeetuk

When I meet Southern Nigerians in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State or Lagos, Nigeria or New York, USA one argument that has often taken a center stage is: Southern Nigerians are smarter than their Northern counterparts. What evidence supports this claim?
I am yet to see it!

One good example is the content of the 1999 constitution of Nigeria. That document was produced with full consent and participations of the Southern Nigerians as well as those of the Northern Nigerians. Yet, when you go through the 1999 constitution of Nigeria, the contents favor the people of the North over those in the South. Follow me and I will show you!

One area in which the 1999 constitution of Nigeria favors North over South is the number of states that make up the country of Nigeria. Of the 36 states, North has 19 plus the federal territory. The South on the other hand, has 16 states. This fact did not reveal today, it was there in 1999. That was the time the Southern Nigerians who participated in writing the 1999 constitution of Nigeria should have opposed this current system of government. Now, they are trying to move the goal post after the goal is scored.

And more importantly, the current constitution of Nigeria laid out the process of how the presidency of Nigeria will be produced. One such process is conducting a party primary to select a winner who will then represent the party at national election. But guess who is opposing this process? The short answer is the Southern Nigerians.

The Southern Nigerians main complaint is the process as stated in the 1999 constitution of Nigeria only favors Northern Nigerians.

But wait a minute. When did they know this?
If the Southern Nigerians are smarter than their counterparts in the North, why did the people of the South go along with the Northern Nigerians to approve the 1999 constitution of Nigeria?
That is one of many evidence-which would show Northern Nigerians are smarter than their Southern counterparts.

Northern Nigerians contribute nothing to national treasury, yet, have moved the capital of Nigeria to the north, took home 75% of federal money to the North annually, head most keys government agencies, dominate all sectors of Nigerian economy and produce majority of Nigeria heads of government. Amazing that!

I have decided to write on this topic because I am tired of hearing Southern Nigerians calling for zoning the presidency of Nigeria to the South. The Southerners don’t want election—which voters will have to choose who they want as their president. Instead, the Southerners want an election where one part of the country will take a nap, while the other side will vote. That I disagree.

Former vice president Atiku always begins his campaign by talking about what he will do if elected. While others talk about themselves and how much money they got. Mr. Tinubu just admitted defeat before a single vote is cast in the party primaries!
If not, why would he even make such a stupid public comment?

Since the opening of political campaigns in Nigeria, i have examined speeches made by many candidates in both APC and PDP to determine which candidate can both serve the interest of Nigeria and be successful in leading Nigeria out of the current mess. I found two candidates most appealing. These candidates are Atiku and Osinbayo . Their opening campaign speeches had visions of what they will do if elected. The other aspirants are just running to make up the numbers.

Mr. Bola Tinubu opening campaign speech was terrible. He only talked about himself and how much money he got. And in fact, and unlike Atiku and Osinbayo speeches, i cannot remember a single thing Mr. TInubu said he would do if elected.
So, if you ask me today to pick a candidate who will win APC primary, I will say Vice president Osinbayo is the man because of all the reasons i have listed above.

Mr. Tinubu was a state governor for 8 years, yet, he does not know how to deliver a campaign speech. A campaign speech should be about what the candidate running for election will do if elected, and here, with a week left before party primaries, we have none of that.
So, my advice to Mr. Tinubu is to come to USA to hire a winning speech writer to re-start your campaign because, right now, no one knows what you stand for.

What will Mr. Bola Tinubu would do if elected the president of Nigeria?
I am anxiously waiting to have an answer to this question
PoliticsRe: Amaechi Officially Resigns As Transportation Minister by eeetuk(m): 9:37am On May 17, 2022
"Frontline Presidential aspirant on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, on Monday, officially resigned his position in the cabinet of President Muhammadu Buhari as the Minister of Transportation to focus on his aspiration to contest for the 2023 presidency."

Good news finally!
Rotomi Amaechi resignation instantly shut the door against hates and division in Nigeria. He built railroad lines based on ethnicity and tribe---thereby providing road map for hate groups to rise in Nigeria. And hopefully, APC will loose 2023 presidential election--ending Mr. Amaechi hope to return to government Job ever again.

"Seun: Governor Akeredolu said two weeks ago that:"
It is time for the Party leaders to make a categorical statement devoid of equivocation on the pattern of succession. It is very expedient that the Party avoids self-inflicted crisis before the general election. Is it fair for the APC to keep quiet or throw it open like the PDP has done on the issue of zoning?"

Senseless statement!
The 1999 constitution of Nigeria has no room for pattern for succession. The founding fathers (or those who wrote the constitution) never visited the idea of leadership succession because it is in conflict with the democracy. The presidency of Nigeria is choosing by the voters, not political parties. So, those who do not understand the process for choosing the presidency of Nigeria, should go and read the 1999 constitution of Nigeria, again and again.

My only problem i have with Nigerian form of democracy is votes cast by voters are not counted and credited to proper owner. Instead, votes are cast in governor's office overnight for party favorites. What i want to see is all Nigerians call free and fair election. One of the reasons people are complaining about unfair process, is because elections in Nigeria are not free and fair. And people do not trust the results.
No more call for zoning or pattern for succession!
PoliticsRe: Tinubu On Track To Become APC Flagbearer As Delegates Endorse Him: Vanguard by eeetuk(m):
" Indications yesterday emerged that the former Governor of Lagos State and leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, may clinch the ruling party’s presidential ticket."

Pure lie by Tinubu campaign!
APC total delegates according to inside sources put the number at 8,000. Now Tinubu campaign is nowhere close to 50% of total APC delegates. What Tinubu campaign is doing now is employing dirty tricks to try to get some aspirants to drop out of the race because they will have no chance to win the race. By pressuring some delegates to drop out, Tinubu believes he will win more delegates and win the party nomination. I hope other aspirants don't fall into that kind of trap.

"Mr Bagudu, who was twice elected federal lawmaker, has been the governor of Nigeria’s northwestern Kebbi State since 2015 and is an ally of President Muhammadu Buhari."

That is why president Buhari is not an effective leader in Nigeria. Historically, Corrupt leaders don't have respect anywhere in the world. We have seen this about OBJ, Goodluck Jonathan, Buhari , Abacha and more. So, If in 2023, Nigeria is lucky to get an honest person as their president, corruption will be cut by half, and same to terriorism, kidnapping, banditry plus more.
PoliticsRe: Sagay: Buhari Should Sack Emefiele As CBN Governor by eeetuk(m): 1:21am On May 16, 2022
"Prof. Itse Sagay (SAN), Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption (PACAC) has said that President Muhammadu Buhari should sack the Central Bank Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Godwin Emeifele, for his involvement in partisan politics while still in office as head of the apex bank."

President Buhari cannot sack CBN governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele because the president himself is too corrupt--the fear he might be exposed for all the lootings he has participated in. One of the problems about corruption is it takes away the power of a leader. We saw this when OBJ was the president. And we saw it when Goodluck Jonathan was the president. Bottom line is President Buhari is not operating in the position of strength. He is operating in the position of weakness.
