How can one load a Conlog electricity meter as a first time recharge |
catice:Aaah, Bros, it's very simple naa. U never book flights before? |
Dem village people, e no go better for them. I went to the US embassy on Walter Carrington, I was to enter through the main entrance not the visa gate on a visit to the Consular General. The big man who sent me had an arrangement. I was supposed to be issued a visa. Others got theirs that way. This was many years ago. I don't want to be exact on dates abeg. So, before that day, I had already booked my flight to US in 5 days time, in fact, packed my things, ready to move. So, I arrived the gate very early but was asked to wait for the time for visitors. When it was my time, I approached the security man, I told him I had come to see Mr blah blah blah. He said ok, then checked the system for an appointment. He turned and said, "Sorry, I could not see your name on this appointment list". I insisted, then he asked if I would like to speak with the secretary, I said ok. He dialled the lady's extension and gave me the phone, I introduced myself to the lady and told her who sent me, and what the security guy told me. She shouted and bagged me to submit my document (passport) to the security guy, that he would forward it to her TO ENABLE HER BOOK AN APPOINTMENT FOR ME IN FUTURE. I said ok. That FUTURE I heard just burst my head. Omo, do you know that I just turned and left. I went home in anger.( Village people, una no die better). I went home straight. I couldn't even go to report to the man who sent me on Lagos island o. I went home. It was after 3 weeks that I went to meet the man. He was so angry that I couldn't get the visa cos the man's secretary forgot to book my appointment BUT angrier that I failed to report to him immediately. He then called the man's secretary for a new appointment, he was told the man had proceeded on his annual leave and won't be back till the new year.( He never returned to Naija). My people, na so I take dey chop this nonesense with Buhari for Naija since o. If not, who born monkey? See, anger no good. Be in control of your emotions. Don't always over react. Good luck. |
NnamdiN:Most universities won't accept Transcripts sent by the applicants. Only the ones sent by the school through the official school email. |
This topic is very interesting. UNN charges N25k. Because of this, I could not apply to more than 1 University last year as I could not afford it. Just to email a copy of my transcript oh. When I confronted the administrative officer, he said we should write to the VC and Bursar about it. If we do this, they may likely reduce it. |
It is hard to believe that the Nigerian Army would be fighting harmless ESN in Orlu forest while terrorists have kidnapped 27 people in a government school in Niger State and boko Haram just over ran a military base in Borno State. What complete uselessness! |
My final year at UNN. It was matric Eve and I saw 2 ladies, jambites, at the middle of a large field. One beckoned on me for help, as I rushed, the lady collapsed on my hand. I simply lifted her like 20kg to my shoulder. Took her to the canteen as the other lady said they had not eaten and had been standing on the que to collect matric gowns. So, I bought a bottle of fanta for her then asked her to sit there for a while before leaving for her hostel. After about 20 minutes, we then walked to her room. She was so thankful and asked me to please be present the next day being matric so as to meet her parents. I didn't even get her name. Me, I no go anywhere and never met her again until I graduated. |
immortalcrown:It is by force? |
To me, there are Fulani people and there are Fulani Herdsmen. |
THIS NATION IS A BIG JOKE! I am fed up! |
Iamgrey5:1 billion naira worth in Bitcoin! Read well. |
That is the one I want to go for. Wbeg, where are they let me go and present myself. |
I don't believe Facebook's action was influenced by any Nigerian. These websites or social media platforms have rules already embedded in their systems to detect acts of violence, abuse, indecency, hate speech and phrases with capabilities to instigate disunity. If anyone infringes on any of these and repeatedly, the system will automatically alert the management and they can decided to halt further useage of their platform by such persons. |
Buy land from who? We will not sell our lands to the Fulani people whether herdsmen or not. Let them go to the North and buy the land. |
Femilekan233:Oh, suddenly, the vehicle has been sold. Thank God. You can rest. Nonesense! |
This vehicle does not exist. I don't want to tag this "Femilekan233" as a fraudstar but it will be hard to take the tag away from him. He said his name is Jerry. We spoke correct Igbo. I spoke with this dude on Thursday January 21, 2021. He asked me to come to Ijaye area after Abule Igba. And said I should call him as i am coming so that he would direct me. That the car was in his car lot. Ok. I needed this car badly. So on Friday morning, I took off from Ikorodu. I sent him text messages asking for his address. I needed to forward it to my wife just in case I am attacked there and my phone is stolen or something went wrong. He only replied after I had gotten to Oshodi that I should stop at Ijaye Bus stop and take a bike then call him to direct the bike. Hmmm. I had expected him to send me his street address where the car was. So since he didn't send it, I made up my mind not to go beyond that Ijaye bus stop for safety reasons. Once I alight at Ijaye bus stop, I planned to call and ask him to drive the car to the bus stop. Then he called asking if I got the "address" he sent, I confirmed. A minute later, he called again asking where I had reached. I told him I was nearing Abule Igba. By this time, I was already at Dopemu under bridge. 'Aaaaaaaaaaah' he exclaimed. That he just found out that his boss drove the car to the East. And that he could offer me "other cars". Then I asked if those were also Corolla, he said no. I then told him not to worry. I alighted at Dopemu bus stop and went back feeling thankful. In summary, 99% of online car offers are scammers. It is better for you to walk up to a car shop and price a car. Don't try to buy cars online especially from unknown car dealers. They are all scammers. You may say you would not pay money until you confirm. The danger there is not only that they may scam you of your money, they may just collect your phones and wallet or you may end up being killed. This country is no longer what we used to know. Fraud in Nigeria has gone beyond your imagination. Be warned. |

I want naija used |
Chai. So sad. So sad. Just so sad. |
But this is not the first time this auction is taking place. Anyway, I went to make enquiries about the auction today. It looks like the officials plan to sell the vehicles to themselves. I went to the car park at Alausa, I was directed by the security there to go to the main office at Bolade, Oshodi when I got there, the officials were just directing me to other offices. In fact, I went to almost all the offices in that massive complex, and the worst was that majority of the officials claimed they are not aware of any planned Auction. So my conclusion is that they don't even want outsiders to partake in the auction. |
DukeNija:How exactly is he a fool please? |
Oluwaleinad14:Ok. I go wait for you too. Nonesense. Na me tell you to run one way? |
Kriss216:I think he is discouraging those who are doing well here from relocating. He also encouraged those young lads still struggling to find there ways out. So I believe he is right. |
BusinessCity:Easier said than done! |
BusinessCity:All of these are projections that have Les than 20% workability ratio. Nigeria currently is a high risk country both in terms of business and safety. Let him travel. Best option for him cos he can comfortably lose that money doing business here. |
Viknat:Nigeria is a very unrealistic and unpredictable country. If he invests that 3m here, it can disappear in a few months through debts, disasters, government policies, police or military brutality, riots, frauds, kidnapping incidents or simply robbery. Or may be village people! So Bros, find your way if you can. |
Ajakaiye83:Germany has what is called "Block Account". Simply choose one of the public universities, gain admission, set up a bank account, send your 3m to the account under the block account. Apply for a study visa. Then jaapa! Again, you can try that in Norway too. Just that as I heard, cost of living in Norway can be quite expensive. But it is almost the same process. Good luck. |
