Devdevdev: Please if you are a nodejs developer, I want to know what is the industry standard for handling user authentication and authorization.
I have a project and I want to make sure it is as secure as possible. Usually I use jwt tokens stored in a http only cookie that is verified on requests to protected api endpoints, but I read that this method is still vulnerable to attacks.
Most Youtube videos and articles on this subject are just pure trash made by a bunch of idiots and frauds. Me that hasn't even been coding for a year already knows better than most of them.
Please if you have worked professionally with node and express, how did you handle your authentication?
By the way, RIP to the dead. Since you know better than these people, why don't you come up with your own solution then? |

Dittodat: It will, once you increase salaries, others will also increase prices of goods. That has happened before. Ask older people in your family about Udoji salary give away that the FG did back I think in the 70s. Two different situations. The Udoji giveaway was done as a result of oil boom and too much money in the hands of the government. In this case the purchasing power of people have been dampened by loss of value in the naira as a result of reckless policy by BAT. A commensurate increase in wage would do well to restore the people's purchasing power close to or back as it was before BAT happened. |

So as it stands, Nigeria are actually missing Buhari ooh. something I never could have imagined No we are not, please stop repeating this statement. Buhari is a huge part of the collosal mess we are in at the moment. Jonathan gave him $9 billion in excess crude account and he depleted it to $400k. So no, we are not missing Buhari. Tinubu however is Buhari pro-max. |

Even then GEJ wanted to remove it. You his supporters and the opponents like Tinubu said no. I would appreciate if you kept your assumptions to yourself. We spent a large chunk of the revenue on subsidies, yet exchange rate still hovered around N200 and we had savings in the form of excess crude account. APC excused their failure by saying Jonathan had oil boom. Now they are getting the same but the whole economy is suffering a devastating ripple effect. APC is a curse! |

Klass99: This sounds like my dad and almost every Nigerian man I know. Sadly you may marry, have kids and still make the same mistake your father and mine did.
Because you men don't ever listen to your wives when they try to caution or shield you from the pack of wolves you call your relatives. You wrongly assume your wives are selfish or hateful and they don't want you to help your families. That's usually not the case.
Women can see how your blood relatives are often entitled, lazy, covetous or envious and they want to take advantage of you. However majority of you are unable to see what your relatives are really like and you carry blood is thicker than water on your heads like gala. Until blood shows you shege then your wife's words of caution start to make sense.
I smile and shake my head when ignorant men say things like a wife is not your blood or relative. Your own blood relatives will wound you quicker and faster than the wife who is not related to you. Most of us grew up seeing this happen in our parents' homes but we become adults and think it can't happen to us, after all blood is thicker than water na.
Oh....and genuine condolences for the loss of your father, that must have been really rough. I spoke with mine today and I can't wait to go see him. None of us is promised tomorrow. You sound like you nag, honestly! |
