You are still a boy as long as you are under your parents roof and that gives them control over those your so called freedom. You want to say u have a choice to believe in whatever u want to. Leave your father's house first then go and be whatever u want to.

Romance › Re: I Am Considering Polygamy by Enskynelson(m): 3:17am On Nov 26, 2021
NovesaTillie:
I am still very young (late twenties) and vibrant and beautiful and juicy downstream but I find myself recently considering marriage into a polygamous home maybe as the 3rd or second wife and I want to know what you think of this.
I find myself to be independent and really like having my space to myself, I also want to keep enjoying my life even in marriage but with less attention from the husband which I won't enjoy should I settle for the regular one man and one woman kind of marriage. In polygamy the man has too much honeypot to go round and lots of children to play with and that takes away much fixation on only one wife.
No everyday by fire and water fvncking, my buubs will not slack, I will travel round the world and still keep my job and my space..
Well... It could help solve some of the issues however, polygamy will also create some issues you may not have thought of. Have you thought of how your kids will feel in such a home cos all your reasons seem centred on yourself (your life, your body shape, your happiness, career etc). Your kids too deserve some consideration.
I created a thread before on polygamy. You can read here
https://www.nairaland.com/4017163/before-bring-second-wife-opinion

We often don't know the some the things we wish for until we have it. If marriage is not so important to you, you can consider not getting married. It's odd in the African society but if really all that matters to you is the above (in braces), just stay on your own (the boobs will still sag though) cheesy
Romance › Re: I'm Depressed I Might Commit Sucide Or Do Something Evil Please Help by Enskynelson(m): 3:06am On Nov 26, 2021
This is not such a serious issue bro. Try and take your mind off this. Ladies really don't care about this one, abi you forgot Oshiomole face? Low cut or skin cut will help a great deal like someone already suggested. This is nothing worth going to hell for (in fact, nothing will ever be worth that). Face your career and make good money. All the ladies you think are running because of that small thing u feel depressed about will come running to you. Cheers bro.

backbencher:
Nope....because many schools cheat. And many parents too cheat. (A parent could bribe the school to give his son high marks in integrated science simply because he wants his son to read science...meanwhile son wants to read arts.).

Better a test conducted by a neutral body that is standardized across all schools.(At least the school can use the low scores in interscience at junior waec to justify to the parents why their son should read arts in our above scenario)

Also, not everyone does his SSS at the same school they did their JSS . So if someone was transferring to a different school at the end of JSS3, the best way that the new school can judge the academic capability of their new student (IN ADDTION to their admission tests) is the junior WAEC score . (That's what happened to a relative of mine back when she was young and was transferring schools after JSS3). not their school results that might have been buffered.
Nice points.
But these days, with the present private schools, I really don't need any of that before choosing Science, Arts or Commercial. In fact, I can easily go to any private school and get my ward to SS1 without presenting any of that. However, you really presented a good argument on your part with strong points.
Education › Re: The Most Useless Certificate In Nigeria? by Enskynelson(op): 3:14pm On Nov 25, 2021
backbencher:
Junior WAEC is used to judge whether you would be suitable for a career in the sciences, arts, commerce, or social sciences.

Allow me to explain

From SS1, you begin to think of the subject you would read in university, and the scores you get in Junior WAEC and your continuous assessment throughout JSS would help your guidance counsellor, teachers, and even parents and you decide whether you would be a science, arts, commercial or social science student in Senior secondary level...and by extension determine your subject choices at WASSCE and JAMB level and by extension, what you will do at university.

Also if you are transferring to SS1 in a new school, your junior WAEC scores helps the new school place you academically...

In brief, your Junior WAEC is the first step of your university entrance exams.
You raised salient points however, can this not be determined by an internally conducted exams where students don't have to pay another registration money aside the school fees for the term?

Yea..our MBBS is just the primary qualification required...to move up the ladder there u need to enroll in many of there own certified programs
And bear in mind that MBBS took 6-8yrs of someone life to obtain.

One thing abt IT is its strictly by skill or know-how,not by degree...u can see a skilled developer that can hack the backend of a website with jus SSCE cert
Quite true.
Is the Junior WAEC Cert of any use?

Education › The Most Useless Certificate In Nigeria? by Enskynelson(op):
Yes! What is the most useless certificate in Nigeria right now in the educational system? For me, the most useless certificate right now goes to Junior Secondary School Certificate AKA Junior WAEC. I wrote mine many years and have not collected the certificate because I see no need for it. Even the Primary School Cert was the lowest educational qualification for becoming the President of Nigeria until the last amendment.
What is your opinion? What is the use of Junior WAEC? What is the most useless certificate in Nigeria Educational System right now?

Hello Gurus

I wanted to ask this for someone
A 300level noun student

He registered for 300 level course

As a matter of fact he don seat for one exam

Before emergency situation arise at work

That needs him to visit another state
To sort it out!

Now
Though he said he’s gomna registere other courses next session since he didn’t do it

My worries is

Is he safe

Since he has registered on portal
Are they not going to mark it as carryover course

Since he sit for one without attending to others

Is there grace to register for others next session without it turning to CO for him!

Don’t know if noun system is different from my sch own

But if its my sch
Since you already registered for it on portal

They will have calculate that units and remove from your present cpga

So if results come out

If its good
The cgpa go rise back
For the rest courses that he won't sit for the exams, he shouldn't do the remaining TMAs. Result will be out for only the one he sat for exams and completes the TMA. It won't affect his CGPA as he won't be graded for those he won't sit for the exams.

adubam:
I just want to share this painful and bitter scenario to job seekers out there.

So we posted a job advert and over four hundred applied. Three were selected for interview and only one appeared.

Salary is about 150k for a start.

So this applicant came and did well in both oral and written interview but she was not given the job because of this:

She was given a paper to apply for the job. Excellent write up though but she messed up the whole paper with cancellation and instead of asking for a fresh paper to start over again; she even went ahead and handed over it like that to my boss.

My boss concluded that she was an untidy and scatty fellow.

And that was all.

Please take note of this and try not to make this mistake.

God grant you your desired jobs.
Another person could see it as a good quality-her desire to make the most of the available resources. There are no perfect employees, even your boss can be disqualified with 1001 reasons including the way he laced his shoes.
Due to very high level of unemployment in the country, employers now look for the smallest of reasons to disqualify applicants. May God help every applicant in this country.

Good pm sir,

Been trying to verify account details for my sister but the system is saying DateOfBirth Does Not Match BVN details.

However, the bvn date of birth is same as in nasims portal.

Any advice on how to rectify this please? embarassed
Recently, a friend that I have been assisting from Day 1 of the application had this issue. She kept insisting the date was the correct one. I urged her to go to the bank and get her BVN print out. Lo and behold, the date there was different from what she thought. The moment I edited the DOB to the one in the BNV printout, we were able to print the letter.
