A holistic approach is what I mentioned. The problem here is that you think a strong thing is the only way to cure infections. You think that you must take something strong every time.

But have you ever considered why these infections were not so common in the olden days? Are you saying they were not around then? If they weren't around, what brought them about now? Or all these infections were produced in the laboratories?

When you answer the questions above, you will start thinking differently.

To answer you, if ONLY modern drugs prescribed by doctors cured these infections, many people wouldn't be here asking for help. So, the drugs manage conditions. Though some can still flush some out. But the majority manages these conditions.

Concerning herbs, knowledge is scarce and getting dosages is hard. Many have damaged their organs because of herbs. Also, if ONLY herbs flush out these infections, you won't see people here asking for help.

My approach is that you see your doctor and if he gives you antibiotics, use it. I know, it won't cure it, but it will reduce the load. That first time you use it should be the last so there is no resistance development towards the drugs. Then, if you know herbs that can do more damage to the bad microorganisms, use them. But the real battle is won when you go on a diet that will build your immune system. Whatever you use like drugs and herbs will weaken the bad guys seriously, and then your body steps up to finish the job. Your body may not win the war on time if those things don't come in first.

Also, when you follow good eating habits, your body will push out many infections without taking drugs or herbs immediately they enter. Why? The load is small and your body detects it fast.. and boom it sends it out immediately. You will just feel a slight headache or fever during this period. You won't know why, but you won't just get yourself. It was your body that fought something. You may have a cold or some other symptoms. But I am not saying one should dive in raw cos no matter how good our immume system is at times, some infections can break through.

Since it's not practical for most city dwellers to relocate to the villages, I also think they can take certain measures in the city. For example, parboil your beans to remove chemical preservatives. Avoid frozen chicken and even agric fowl and stick to native chicken. Go for fresh (caught) fish instead farmed fish or iced fish. Etc. Right?

I have nothing against swallow, but it depends on what one is battling with. A diabetic should stay clear of all swallows even including green plantain flour in my opinion. There is a reason for it. But I see diabetic patients deceiving themselves. They always load plantain swallow like gluttons. What the heck is that? And they say they are eating low carb. Low carb indeed. Not only diabetic patients should stay away from swallow, but many other conditions at least till the issue is fixed. Some can't do without rice. There are periods when you stay clear of these things. Knowledge is important.

Herbs work, but the food we consume will delay or prevent them from working if we eat wrongly. And of course, there are periods when you want to load carbs inside. So, an expert can help out.

You can only reduce chemical residue in grains with your method, it is better to stay off. Grains ....hmmmmm. Not the best form of food. Stay away from all forms of grains for 6 months, and return to give testimony. But Naijas can't. Dem say na common man food.

I don't care about the result of what is going on in Gaza because it is not my war. While I sympathize with all parties in the dispute, I will refuse to get emotionally involved.

I posted on this forum that Israel is going to annex Gaza at the start of this war, and this is it. The US is a partner that won't fail Israel.

Talking from a neutral position, the ONLY way peace will be restored is that either Israel or Palestine must go into extinction. Let us face the truth. And it seems Palestine is the casualty. After Gaza has been annexed, Israel will relax, and perhaps they will start allowing Hamas to make successful attacks again. And then, maybe 15 to 20 years again in the future, they will annex more land. This is the cycle till they absorb the whole region. Palestine will be scattered around arab nations like Israel used to be.

I guess Israel has decided to heed the command that says: push them all out of the land. Remove all of them. Is this what is going to happen?

Our generation may not see the end, but we will experience more of this.

I laugh when I see people buy houses that have cemented floors. There is no house now that they don't cement the floor. Modern lifestyle. You can't cut grass oooo..so, you must put cement on the floor. Dey make Dangote rich na. So, do you think Dangote will promote what I am preaching? So, you think estate marketers (those girls hustling on WhatsApp) and builders will be happy with me? Dem don give you 2 bedroom flats...and "jam-packed" the houses...no garden. One plot is now 150 to 300 sqm and you buy for 40 million naira..pay 10 million and pay the rest easily with an instalment model. Lol. Where is the space to garden? Lol. Dey play! By the way, do you know that a standard full plot of land is 667sqm? Lol. And the houses oyinbo built in Ikoyi is like 1,000sqm per plot in those days. You go see a garden there na. But dem don convert all to skyscrapers. Lol. No more garden. Go to houses near the Nigerian railway corporation land in Lagos. The union of railway workers assisted their workers in building houses around the compound. Go Oyingbo to Yaba, and just take a look at the houses around Muritala Muhammed Way, Herbert Macaulay Way, and from Oyinybo down to Yaba College of Technology, you will see traces of houses with gardens. Even government land is there. If you see any bungalow in this area, you will see a garden. But our generation is destroying them and putting up offices there...the gardens are going into extinction. Only government areas have spaces these days around the area. But go to new sites like Idimu, iyana oba...bla bla bla...you will understand. Rubbish houses from A to Z in the area. Go to the so called place for above average salary earners in Berger/Ojodu/Magodo, can you spot a land with a garden there? You will see old houses with garden in Festac, but modern ones...dey play.

Is it that our local herbs and antibiotics are not effective for so many to be battling various infections? Nope. Something else is ignored. Eating just various types of greens can work, but we eat contaminated food. Everything you buy is trash because of poor production. Also, the quantity matters....and the food to drop are so essentials too. Many can't ....especially men. Bu the time heads toll annually for 5 years consecutively and around 10 million corrupt Nigerians are sacrificed, the rest of the people will learn. Early days schools will return to singing songs about how corruption is bad. Elementary schools will naturally return to taking Moral Instructions seriously again. High schools and higher schools up to the universities will make Ethics and Good Governance compulsory for all students. Then, Nigeria will be ok. Mind you, most pastors, bishops, and imams too are executed cos of looting congregational contributions. Yes na. Then, set in tax so that ONLY those genuinely called by God will remain. All those business pastors and imams will naturally quit their jobs.

But let's be real, it is easier for humans to live in harmony with lions than for Nigerians. Let us be real. And I don't think anyone can take this drastic action. So, I will leave you to keep hoping for what I know is very impossible.

People are suffering o in reality, those of us online once in a while should count ourselves lucky to even afford to buy data cos people are finding it difficult to feed which is the most basic thing after the oxygen we breathe into our body.

Any upright person will keep out of Nigerian politics. Even keep out of civil service because everything has been politicized.

I was in this state some years back, and I told myself never to look for a job when I returned to Nigeria to settle down after a decade in Europe. I looked at what I could do, and I started gradually. It was hard. People even mocked me because they expected I would have done "yahoo yahoo" abroad and returned with SUVs with like 5 mansions at home. Lol.

Today, I know what works if one doesn't want to get involved with this mess, and one will live comfortably and enjoy himself. Even live in wealth. I have shared the options I know here, and one is not relying on the Nigerian economy. One needs to either tap into the world economy or acquire a disruptive technology skill. The last option is hard for many...and that is doing what has worked since the days of Father Abraham, but this time, deploy tech to make it successful in a safe place.
