Oga, rest! The moment Soludo declares for presidency, you will remind him that he's IPOB. We don see una finish...
Your comment shows you don't understand who Soludo is and why I want him to be the president.

Your reason is that he is Igbo. Damn that. Why Igbo? Are you the only one in Naija? Nnamdi Azikiwe and Aguyi-Ironsi were both Igbo men who had ruled us while other Southern ethics did not sit on the throne. Why are you greedy? Ya ya ya ya yeh. Claiming injustice. Injustice my foot! So what should Tiv Irobo, Igala, etc do? We have over 300 tribes in Naija and the Igbo want to force themselves there. For what?

Get the crap outta my mention if you cannot reason well. Just shouting and making themselves nuisances over the internet. See...I know Igbo...you will say Ngozi Iweala is a woman who deserves nothing...so you won't appoint him to contest. Na so you be. And Soludo will be betrayed. Na so your ways. And we will still not vote for Peter Obi. Get this into your brain. Obi will not be the president of Nigeria. No Pandora fraudulent man will rule Nigeria. No "Yes Daddy" will step into Aso Rock.

So, get ready to cry again in 2027. grin And after, it will move to the for another 8 years. Then, SS will pick it. Will go to the north again... and another SW will pick it up. If this is what you want to hear....here it is. When you are ready, you will find a good person like Soludo or Iweala. When you are ready, you will cancel that rubbish law saying girls aren't legitimate children. When you are ready, you will stop selling your girls in modern robbery asking for so much for bride price. Greedg set of humans.

Peter Obi to be honest will give Soludo a run for his money in sustainable development! Soludo is good but Peter Obi is so underrated even in Anambra sef! Peter Obi that had his mandate stolen and even when he got it back was impeaced twice yet he was able to rescutitae and improve Anambra to what she is today!

Leave politics o...........Peter Obi is an exceptional talent!
For writing that Obi is exceptionally talented, I question your ability of judgement. Shaking my head. You want to compare a corrupt business man to a standing macto economics professor who solely changed the whole Nigerian banking sector. Chai! What is going on sef?

I don't know how sustainable development is related to winning back a governorship position via court after impeachment.

What I know is that I can't see any sustainable project Obi left. We are alive today, and the ones people want to point to are already getting rotten. Usage of fake and inferior raw materials while they hijacked the price.

Where do you put integrity? I don't understand you guys. Where is Obi's integrity? Don't you care about his Pandora business fraud? What about not declaring his assets? What about using a public fund to start a beer company for his family? I can continue. Yet, you follow him.

A man doesn't change easily. He is as deceptive as Atiku and Tinubu. Obi used Christianity vs Islam to campaign for the last presidential election. He did it to the extent of doing "Yes daddy" grin to Oyedepo. Now, he wants to restrategize and he has started wearing Islamic gowns presently, eating with Muslims everywhere during this Ramadan and taking pictures for political purposes posting them everywhere on his social media handles.

You want to compare him with Soludo. An economics full professor. When Obi was saying yes sir to the governor of Anambra, he had already become Nigerian Central Bank governor about 20 years ago. He was the one who changed the game. He computerized the whole banking sector. I wished you people had grown up before his term. If you have experienced the pain in the banking sector, you people will understand why we say Soludo is the guy.

It is obvious the Anambra people don't know what they want cos they wouldn't vote for that useless guy called Obiara or Obiona as a governor instead of Soludo the first two times Soludo contested. I keep wondering why.

Please, do not insult us in Nigeria. Igbos just want any Igbo man to be the president, and they want to put Obi on us. See eh...Obi cannot be the president of Nigeria cos men with integrity will NEVER allow it.

Don't ever compare Soludo and Obi. If not that we are in Naija that wicked and corrupt men are rewarded than brains, how can you ever mention Obi where Soludo is?

Some Igbos want to run the idea of Alex Oti already performing than Soludo. I laugh in Chinese. Otti is also a corrupt ex-banking executive l. But can you compare him with a Central Bank gov? Even the almighty dethroned and disgraced emir of Kano, Sanusi was saying yes sir to Soludo. Soludo was his boss in everything. Have you ever heard Soludo say rubbish when it comes to economics? But go hear some rubbish Sanusi said during his tenure (after Soludo) as the central bank governor. Let me stop here cos I can write 1000 pages on this issue.

Soludo is oga patapata. This is a man who understands economics. Soludo plus Iweala na sure goal. The way the duo managed Naija during OBj was so good.

Get this man to contest for Aso Rock after his second term here and I will vote for Igbo presidency. But if you think I will ever support your Obi Pandora...you are a joke. grin

exporting cocoa only ND disregard Local consumption ND importing foreign chocolate no make sense
Why would an American kid eat quality chocolate at an affordable price but naija or Africa kids eat it at a high price some times is not the real chocolate we eat as rumour as it .and cocoa is African crop
If quality chocolate is cheap for our kids ND ban foreign chocolate the demand will increase which means more cocoa tree needed more cocoa farms more workers more jobs.
The almighty US is selling crude oil to Dangote, so in the absence of facilities to produce chocolate, still export cocoa. We are just getting back.

And remember...you are back to the real issue on this thread. Electricity. Without it...forget chocolate....na cocoa. Dangote is surviving cos of unfair play. If those companies that have closed up were given the same treatment, they would still be around. To run a refinery, electricity is more situation. To produce crude oil..same thing.

I only gave more examples...go right, left, front and back...the issue is still electricity.

But for someone coming back, focusing initially on agriculture is ok. Add to the forex the nation is making via agric. Chocolate won't happen now until we fix electricity....so, let's focus on cocoa to survive and move forward.

By the way we can export Agro products but what is affecting it is three factors
1)absence of private farmland estate policy :govt farmland estate no work hw many LAnds govt want buy for farming plus bereaucrate issue.
This is a false info. There are so much private farmland. Almost all ex-generals have huge farmlands. Na money. If you get am, you go buy. Shikena. Go through the right channel. Not much red tape oga. I know about it very well.

If builders are getting land for real estate, why can't you get a farm? No be private coys dey build more these days?

2)insecurity
For sure this is a bad one, but it goes to show that only the northerners are into agric. Kidnapping dey, but can be addressed fast if govt is serious. But really, I can't take the risk also.

3)absence of reputable foreign Afro brokerage companies na them dey make export easy ND growing
E. G oil export brokers like total, shell help.nigeria export it's oil
Na shell and total dey sell for NNPC? LOL.

You don't need this sir for agro, but if available...good. Going through government departments just like how USDA assists its citizens too is not bad. We have that...and anyone can use the channel. Trust me...when production is massive, brokers will rise from the grave naturally. Which product dem wan market now?

Even small farmers do small-scale exporting. They can have snail pens and catfish ponds at home...no insecurity issues. After production, they roast and dry. Logistics coys don plenty here to move their products abroad. They only find the market or at times, govt agencies assist them. Their only business is to produce. But guess what? People still don't do it cos of the high cost of production due to lack of power. Feed costs are high. High cost of production for fish. Lol. But look at snail production, you need less power..so na money spinner.

Instead of me to export, I will rather focus on perishable food products. On a plot of land, I can make 90 crates of tomatoes for just 90 days of field production after transplanting. At a wholesale price of N25k that's N2.25million. It's possible to fence around 20 plots na. That's 45 million sales. Of course, not easy cos of many other issues. But it is possible. Most farmers aren't that good at it and their yield is low....still they are cashing out big time.

Back to the main point...we need electricity. Power. Producers will return as soon as we fix it. They want to operate here. There is a big market here.

If you were an agro exporter would you want to go through a broker when you can enter the market yourself and kill it big? It's easier these days

Mallam get plans. All those people wey edge him out no sabi say Mallam na one of the major force wey make Tinubu win and those wey edge him sef couldn't do much for Tinubu.

Tinubu may likely not win reelection if Atiku agrees to take a back seat and dem join forces with Obi
This combo go "baddest", but Atiku will not. He is a greedy man Wike is waiting for in 2027. Wike has told Jagaban that he should not worry...na him go handle Atiku in PDP again. PDP may likely be an SS thing and eventually align with APC because if Atiku does not leave PDP, Wike and Makinde will kick his butt again.

For sure, they will all have a convention again if your combo works, and there will be an agreement for cooperation. Maybe just like in 2015, Atiku will support the winner reluctantly just like how he supported Buhari after he lost in 2015. But Atiku is too desperate. I believe he should have won that ticket if Tinubu was not there cos na money pass money won that thing. Jagaban spent everything to make sure Buhari won....if not, Atiku would have won. So, Atiku sef knows that he does not have Jagaban kind of money.

Peter Obi will also not step down for anyone, but he will lose cos he doesn't have much money to win. However, anyone who picks that ticket knows that Obi must be the V.P. Atiku regretted that mistake badly. He went to pick Okowa which is irrelevant. Lol. Peter is SE and they all know the implication.

Interesting days are ahead. Time will unfold different dramas. Lol.

He earns 1M as salary monthly and also has a side hustle which should be bringing him nothing less than 200k estimate. But the man still wants to leave 4 UK. And getting a job in the UK at the age of around 45+, isn't that almost impossible?

His wife is already there and she's doing care-job.

I still don't understand why he wants to move.

If I ever meet him with my dad before he leaves, I'll tell him "sir, you're making a big mistake!"

Well, he's still agile. I guess that's an advantage.
So 1m a month will give him secured health care. It will give him a good pension...right? Will secure his kids' future. Will pay his kids' tuition till university. The UK has free education till high school... and then the kids can work and pay their tuition themselves. There are plans. And that 1m will secure his freedom of movement and rubbish vida appointments. Right?

You don't understand how bad Naija is. Ok ooo.

You make me laugh.

There are economists who agree with what I wrote.

How good is your economics:

1. What is a tight monetary policy?

2. What is a loose fiscal policy?

3. What was the primary cause of inflation during the Babangida years?

4. What is "NAIRU"?

5. What are zero coupon bonds?

6. What are junk bonds?

7. What is the general name given when the resources a country has rather than become a burden has become the very opposite?

8. Why does Norway with a population of 5m, producing 1.7mbpd of crude oil have $1.65 trillion in its sovereign fund, while Abu Dhabi, with a population of 1.45m people, and producing 2.5m bpd have only $993bn in it's Sovereign fund.

9. Why does a principality like Hong Kong have a massive current account surplus, rather the opposite, despite having virtually zero percent import duty on goods and services?

10. Why is the UK economy suffering now that it has left the EU?

Your time starts now!
So you think I will answer all these unrelated questions to my post? Chai! Common sense is far from you ooo. Chai

Nigeria isna case study in this issue. So focus on Nigeria.

Stop writing ŕubbish, I repeat. Forex subsidy was removed, but it is back. This is what is happening currently.

Oga, na common sense I am telling you to use. If you deduct from my post that subsidies are good, then you need to go back to a good elementary school. Ha ba! I wrote a summary of my post clearly, yet, you are back to start asking sully questions. Even after writing it clearly for you. Na waooo.

Let me spell it out for you again what this thread is about because apparently, you don't understand it. Maghalu is saying that we don't have enough money to maintain $1 to equate to N400. Is this not forex subsidy that is back? Forex subsidy is why it came down to N1,450 from N1,750

My point is that subsidy is bad, but if you want to remove it, do it gradually. In Nigeria's case, the following should come first. Moghalu is saying that Power restoration should come first before total removal of forex. How hard is this for you to understand?

Here are the initial achievements to be made before total removal:
Number 1: massive agro production.
Number 2: Power at least for industries to operate.
Number 3: Common sense should tell Tinubu to make sure all refineries are in good condition and Dangote should have stabilized before taking 100% oil subsidy. Maybe remove 30% immediately he entered to tell ppl that he means it. Do I need to write all these things before you get my point? You just dey quote references anyhow and ask silly unrelated questions. grin Use your common sense.

If it is back, they also know now that it was a blunder to remove them sharply. This is my point. I'm not saying subsidies should continue.

Read with common sense na. If you don't get it again, then, I won't reply to you cos I am sure manority readers who didn't attend secondary education can understand my point.

So, leave all the references and read my posts again. This time, relax...use common sense and don't use any references. If you need to leave it for a day, return tomorrow and perhaps, your common sense hormone will have been activated.

Good luck!
Politics › Re: FG Begins Renovation Of Dodan Barracks by epainos: 10:43am On Mar 25, 2024
Tinubu is loyal to Lagos State. GEJ is not that bold. He knows he is coming to Lagos often, and I am sure he has been told to always stay with the military for protection. This is why he is renovating Dodan Barrack. That barrack will be on its way to at least 50% of its old glory during Tinubu's tenure.

I can imagine what Lagos will gain for another 7 years. grin If you notice, his Lagos-born critics in PDP are no longer talking. Only Gbadebo of LP is gingering. Bode George will soon visit him in Aso Rock. You all just watch it.

Like we said from day 1, this man is a strategist. The only issue is that he places ONLY his own in all places, and they will get so rich. Sanwo Olu will NEVER leave this man. Hmmm. I pity Ambode, but I know Osinbajo is always contented with what he has, but the man messed up.

Tinubu needs to get into Agric so people can have food to eat. This is a top priority. And he needs to handle power well. Power is the only single thing that will move Nigeria forward because we can start production again. Many industries in other African nations will shift to Nigerian sharply. Why? The population is high here.

Do you know how much the country is spending monthly subsidizing petrol? 907bn. That is almost N11trillion. What was the federal budget this year? 28.7tr. That is almost 40% of the budget!

You said subsidies are deadly when used wrongly!

Subsidies are generally frowned upon by economists. As Hamilton said, "The existence of subsidies can not be divorced from abuse."

Countries that have no subsidies have faired much better than those who have have.

Singapore, a tiny island state with very little resources and Malaysia, a resource rich one were the same country in 1965 when they split.

Malaysia has a lot of populist subsidies such as for food or oil while Singapore has only for investment.

Today, Singapore is 5 times richer than Malaysia

Refined oil subsidies have been a big bane to economies that have them because they are simply too costly to implement and the only thing stopping their removal is that their governments are petrified of mass protests or even regime change.

Food subsidies are just as bad. They are common in Arab countries. These subsidies have always been a curse to the Egyptian Pound which seems to take a pounding (lol) every couple of years. Populist subsidies such as for food and oil are simply there to make the people happy.

If you want productive subsidies, perhaps supplying subsidized power to companies in an Export Processing Zone, even then, it should be for a time period

Oil and food subsidies are a completely no-no.

If I want to know a country that would not do well, I just have to take a look at the number of subsidies it has.

The 11tr for petrol subsidies just isn't there. The government will have to borrow every dime of it, leading to more malign inflation and currency.

I am certain that the petrol subsidy was the primary cause of the ballooning debts, that is now so expensive to service. In 2023, debt servicing was to gulp 96% of government revenue. This was simply insane. That was why Tinubu was determined to end petrol subsidies. Unfortunately, he did not go far enough by fully deregulating its price. The price of petrol is never stable internationally and the Naira is a currency prone to depreciation.

Due to the depreciation issue, the gradual removal of the subsidy on petrol is a non-starter, especially with this government which has shown a depressing tolerance of high inflation.

If the market price of petrol is $1 per litre and the exchange rate is $1- 600, and petrol sells for N600 per litre, there's no subsidy.

If the Naira depreciates to N700 and the market price for petrol still remains at $1, and petrol is still fixed at N600, that means there's now a subsidy. Why? Because the price should now be 700 per litre. There's a subsidy of N100 per litre.

In addition to why gradual subsidy removal isn't tenable is that with every new price increase, there's a new demand for a wage increase. This new wage increase further compromises the value of the naira further.

What I'm advocating is shock therapy. Removal of all subsidies once and for all and fully deregulate the price for both petrol and electricity. Countries that have gone the shock therapy route have always faired better than those who dragged their feet.

Price deregulation changed the telecoms industry forever. The GSM operators were allowed to charge whatever price they wanted and MTN and Econet(now Airtel) both charged 50 per minute while Mtel charged 22 per litre.

This enabled MTN and Econet to invest billions of dollars to roll out millions of lines. Mtel meanwhile faded into oblivion. Today, there are over 100m phone lines compared to the 400,000 available in the Year 2000.

Imagine if the operators were compelled to charge only 22 per minute like Mtel, I doubt the nation would have more than 10m lines and it would be most likely for the rich and Middle class and with phone call operators everywhere catering to the poor.

Petrol deregulation would also lead to massive investment in the downstream sector of the oil industry. If price deregulation had been carried out in 1980s, I am certain by now the country would be refining as much as 3m barrels per day.

If investors are not allowed to charge a cost reflective price for their products, they would be discouraged from investing.

Dangote seems to only want to start production with diesel and kerosene. He is forgoing petrol for now. It is a pointer to what I said.
Oga, stop analysing beyond the real practical. Nigeria's case has a result we are presently experiencing, and the result shows that gradual removal is the right way and not a sharp removal. If you don't understand everything I wrote, this summary should get into your brain. Tinubu himself understands it now. Subsidy return to forex is why it is crashing. So, please.....stop showing your ignorance further.

If you still don't get it, economics and finance aren't for you. Maybe carpentry or plumbing.

Good luck!

I keep repeating having organic home-grown food is the ONLY way out now. These boys are playing with colon cancer. Na small small the thing dey start. But as soon as you start treating it, you will be fine.

Well, if it's just a time thing, it is caused by a change of diet. Meaning there are not enough microbes in the gut to work on the food. But if it is happening frequently, you better act fast.

Gastritis, ulcers, constipation, haemorrhoids, sibo, sifo, IBS, leaky gut, etc are caused by poor indigestion. Poor indigestion has so many causes which are: antibiotic usage, infections like H pylori and candida, etc. You can get antibiotics into your system by eating livestock raised with them. And all meat sold in Nigeria is raised with them...so, you gradually will start losing your gut flora. Eat only pasture-raised food. A dey tell you. Also, pesticides and herbicides used to grow our crops have even worse negative effects cos they are more frequent.

So, keep saying you can start a garden. Keep saying herdsmen will kill you. Go buy a plot in an urban area or semi-developing where there are no kidnapping cases and fence it around. There are many areas free from kidnapping...you do not need to go inside the bush. And install a borehole. Build a tiny structure there and install solar panels. Start growing your food.

If you like insult me. Na your die, no be mine.

Dude are you serious? You do know that Tinubu wrote at least TWO long economic policy statements advocating for a massive increase in printing of naira?

I already posted about it. Here you go...
_________________________
I keep asking you - HOW does a country increase economic diversity? It's not enough to point out problems.

Predictions? Let me do you one better, especially for you and your blanket blame for all governments.

President Tinubu was also a staunch advocate for a massive increase in money supply. Read him here, published in various newspapers at the time. This was written just before the 2015 elections, on Tuesday, November 18, 2014. The Finance Minister Ms Iweala even felt compelled to issue a rebuttal, warning that such policy would cause inflation.

READ and learn! Massive money printing is official APC policy!!!!

https://thenewsnigeria.com.ng/2014/11/18/way-out-of-nigerias-economic-crisis-bola-tinubu/2/

Their way calls for us to forget growth and for government to preoccupy itself with allocating economic misery among those segments of the population too poor and weak to contest the immiserable actions of government against them.

“In the face of recessionary headwinds, government should run countercyclical fiscal policy by using its Naira sovereignty to fund fiscal deficits. The deficit is not simply for the sake of running a deficit; the funds cannot be spent on nonproductive matters. It must be used to fuel infrastructural and other projects that not only employ great numbers of people but enhance the overall productivity of the economy. The funds must be used to backstop state governments in a nonpartisan manner so that each state government may continue to pay salaries and pursue projects essential to that state’s economic critical path.

“To accomplish this, the federal government needs to reverse the inimical “dollarization” of the national economy in two ways. First and most importantly, it must abandon the outdated peg of fiscal policy and expenditures to the dollar intake. The one actually has no correspondent nexus to the other. Any commanding connection we give it is an artifice not an economic necessity. Related to this, we must reverse a trend that has gained momentum under this government. Among government-aligned elites, the fad has been to conduct domestic business transactions in dollars. Policy must “nairasize” the economy by requiring all domestic transactions occur in our legal tender. As this is done, the government’s infinite ability to issue Naira will come to outweigh the limitations inherent in the overuse of the finite supply of another nation’s currency for transactions wholly internal to our domestic economy.”

Now that it's all gone so wrong, he's back tracking to a more fiscally responsible position. The President Tinubu of today is doing the right things, he's got good policy, it's just that the damage to Nigeria since Jan 2012 is too deep and investor confidence is too far gone.

The formatting isn't working well but just use the link. This is HISTORY, thank goodness for the internet!

Good Luck to Nigerians!
I wish you can be fished out to come and give evidence to this, or face the wrath of the law.

The petrol subsidy waa one of the policies that crippled the economy and saddled it with massive debts and you condemn its removal? Tinubu should have gone deeper and completely deregulated the price as done with diesel, kerosene and cooking gas.

What you said is a contradicting.
Even Tinubu himself has realised that hecwas too aggressive removing subsidies, so what is your point. Still arguing on what has been confirmed that almost collapsed the economy? Subsidies are deadly when used wrongly, and thats the case of Naija. He was supposed to remice them gradually after providing a strong back up for each case. Its what we are dealing with in this thread. If he had not floated naira, food will not be crazily expensive. Inflation skyrocketed with it. Did you read this article i responded to? Electricity should be his priority first. But he rushed to cancel subsidies.

The president we need now is the one thag can fix electricity. Shikena.

And what should happen to President Buhari huh In case you don't know, PRINTING MONEY to spend on Nigerians was the OFFICIAL ECONOMIC POSITION of Bola Tinubu during the 2014 Election Campaigns and even long before that. APC policy has ALWAYS been that printing money will solve our economic problems.

Please put the blame where it belongs.

Good Luck to Nigerians.
I am not a fan of Tinubu, but he came put boldly to say he did not advise Buhari to print any money. Emefiele and Buhari solely did it. Stop spreading false rubbish everywhere. If he did, i am sure Buhari's boys would have countered him. Buhari is a dullard. The only blame sp far on Tinubu is not using wisdom to remove subsidies. He thought removing them would solve almost everything. That was his biggest error.

I laugh when I read NL comments and ignorant people in economics and finance matters rush to the front page to hype what is going on. Bayo Onanuga is just playing on your intelligence cos I believe there is something they want to achieve with this hype. I believe the tension is extremely high on them, and they are looking for a way to lessen it. Lol.

That artificiality created room for massive arbitrage by speculators which bled the economy. Nigeria does not (yet) have a productive export economy. That’s the heart of the matter.
Number 1, Emefiele should be shot dead by firing squad cos he killed Nigeria. I went through all his actions and I wept for Nigeria. Honestly, I think Cardoso took this job because of the relationship he has with Jagaban. Who the heck wanna be the CBN governor after what Emwfiele did? Lol. So, I laugh when people insult Cardoso. You guys don't understand. Mowz we have Maghalu who is a former CBN director saying the real truth.

And we do not have $100 billion in foreign reserves. So on what basis would the Naira forex rate return to some fantasy land soon? It will also take time to regain or achieve full investor confidence such as we had when we were there (and the rate was N150-165 to the $ 😀).
The money they are presently using will soon go low. They also know that it won't last long. Lol. I don't know how he made his arithmetic that we need $billion in foreign reserves, but I know Naija cannot recover easily from Emefiele. I said that man should be shot dead on the spot. And Buhari should be ashamed of himself. He is a real dullard. grin Listen, Buhari will never be given any international appointment like Jonathan, OBJ, and other past presidents because being the Nigerian president exposed him. No one needs to talk because everything is right clear now. Jagaban is quite smart sha. If Buhari understands what Jagaban and Cardoso have revealed, he will cover his face. But he is a dullard na. Lol.

The sooner we focus on a painstaking creation of vale-added manufacturing export economy that earns forex beyond oil in real and significant terms, the better. Key to this is the electricity conundrum in which we are at less that 4,000 megawatts of generation for a population of 200 million for decades now. Take power to even 20K megawatts (let’s not talk of 50K for South Africa’s 60 million population or Brazil’s 181K megawatts for a population only slightly larger than Nigeria) and you will see what the Nigerian entrepreneurial spirit is capable of.
Yes, the only way out is via internal production, and the reason productivity is low is because of a lack of electricity. Then Jagaban removed the subsidy. I think he also miscalculated. He felt he could get enough dollars as soon as he cancelled it, but little did he know that Buhari has deep future contracts for our oil. Lol. Peter Obi and Atiku should be grateful they did not win that election. Lol. This is the truth. Buhari messed us up big time. It is not an issue of blame game, but the real truth.

Jagaban should focus on Electricity if he loves himself, and I think he made a blunder with El Rufai. Perhaps if that man had become the power minister, things would have picked up, but they used politics to kick him out. Lol. This present power minister should be sacked oooo, else, na another thing we go talk in 1 year from today.

Listen....Naira is going down again soon. It is a gradual process to adjust it.

Another area that is killing us is agriculture. Why? The removal of subsidies created a big vacuum for its domestic needs. Instead of exporting agro products, we are releasing our reserves just for people to stop crying "ebi n pa wa". Lol. So, no forex from it either. And finny cocoa has picked up price lately. How I wished we had enough cocoa to export. Again, Nigeria is not ready to stop bombarding agro products with pesticides. I have stopped eating cereals. Go verify it. ....Nigerian beans have been banned from the EU since 2013 and they have been warning us since 2008. Lol. Why? Pesticide residue is too much. What about our yam? Despite being the highest producer in the world, Audu Ogbe failed to execute it. Our yams were rejected. Lol.

No wonder Nigerians are dying like fowls. People are dying, but they only cry when famous people die. Una go die more.

Go buy a plot of land and start growing your food organically cos poison is what is out these days.

Good luck to everyone.

Wisdom says: don't involve yourself with Kanu.

I remember how Kanu put in trouble that man who stood by him and stood with all his properties on his behalf. Kanu said the army came to kill him, and he ran away. When someone is on the line for you, he knows the power he is fighting is bigger than him since when he was also captured, instead of Kanu to cool down....he started wearing kingship gowns....his people were bowing for him...he was just doing anyhow. DSS got vital intelligence and moved in, and he used the opportunity to escape. Who should we blame? For running for his life, I won't blame him, but for being stupid and arrogant...I will. And then after escaping, he started his terrorist acts. Calling for people to be murdered. Is that how Nelson Mandela fought for his people?

His family is saying that Ndigbo elders abandoned him...lol. Who wan put his properties again on Kanu cos if you ask the government to release him, you will drop a valuable thing you are going to lose?

See eh! If he dies....life goes on. The only reason Tinubu will release him is for political gain. If Kanu can align with Jagaban, I am sure his freedom will be quick....but that man will never. Kanu should know that no president will release him if not an Igbo president. Even an SS president will think twice, thrice, even one billion times before releasing a stubborn man.

Wisdom is far away from Kanu, and he will NEVER be Mandela. I pray for his freedom, and I hope he will stop inciting violence. Fight for the rights of your people in a non-violent way. The non-violent way may not be fast like you want, but still go through that means.

https://ask.usda.gov/s/article/Why-are-cooked-dried-beans-and-dried-peas-in-both-the-Protein-Foods-Group-and-the-Vegetable-Group
KNOWLEDGE ARTICLE
“Beans, peas, and lentils” is a new name for the vegetable subgroup formerly called “legumes (beans and peas).” Beans, peas, and lentils, which also are known as pulses, include the dried edible seeds of legumes. The foods in this vegetable subgroup have not changed. However, the new name of the subgroup more accurately reflects the category of foods included.

Beans, peas, and lentils are excellent sources of plant protein, and also provide other nutrients such as iron and zinc. Because they are similar to meats, poultry, and fish in their contribution of these nutrients, they are considered part of the protein foods group. Beans, peas, and lentils are also excellent sources of dietary fiber and nutrients such as folate and potassium. These nutrients, which are often low in the diet of many Americans, are also found in other vegetables. Therefore, beans, peas, and lentils are also considered part of the vegetable group. Individuals can count beans, peas, and lentils as either a vegetable or a protein food
Cowards use your method of replying posts. Actually, I noticed that you use such for someone who you know will counter you well. But I have put what you wrote as your post in this post.

Keep posting useless references. You don google again. grin

You were the one who posted the ratio of carb and protein in beans, and despite the extreme low protein content per 100g, you still went ahead to say it is a source of protein. Lol. Make una dey use your head ooo.

If you don't know about a topic, shut up. You make a nuisance of yourself everytime trying to have opinions and views in matters you know nothing about. The same you said maggi is good for health. Ya ya ye ya ya yah yahhh....msg is in tomatoes and good. Lol. Then went to search references on how maggi is made. You just want to kill people. Pleasez die alone na. Na your "die". Die alone please. Stop posting wrong information.

Anyway, your reference again is a trash. And USDA has been refuted many times. Follow all their suggestions at your risk.

To keep you shut for ever on this matter, I dont need any reference paper because I talk from the practical aspect. Anything that spikes up your blood sugar (insulin) after eating it is a carb source. Period. Carb gives energy and spikes up insulin in the blood. Beans spike up blood insulin after eating it. This is why diabetic patients are told not to eat it.

Please, stop posting useless references. Junjie, na God I take beg you...you will kill if you don't
stop now . People read what you post. Please, in the name of God, stop discussing wellness and health matters. Go and argue religious talks you are known for. Please biko. Leave wellness and health matters alone. You are extremely dangerous in that area. Na beg a dey beg you. Biko!

Please I need to know if anyone has successfully removed theirs cos that's the next thing on my to -do list.

Now iv been considering this option as the permanent cure for the Monthly discomfort and sickness that comes with menses. After I watched a documentary on tv where a white female doc said the permanent cure for this is to remove the womb. Just don't have an idea how much it would cost but I'm sure it would definitely worth it.

I've noticed that this thing comes with different sickness each month and its always very annoying having to bear too many things at a time. Anemia, pains, discomfort, smell and sicknesses of various kinds. I don't what its doing for me. So let it just go to the gutters! I'm sick if it.! The fact that I hate popping pills to relieve pains is another thing I don't think I wanna continue with.

I WANT TO REMOVE MY WOMB AND BE HAPPY FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!!!
Wow!

I don't argue with people, but I can tell you confidently that every lady can have painless menses because it is not supposed to be painful.

If you are willing to listen to my suggestion, reply to this post and I will give you my suggestions here. I don't reply to emails and I don't entertain private talk anymore.

Politics › Re: Impeachment: Edo CJ Constitutes 7-man Panel To Probe Dep-Gov, Philip Shaibu by epainos: 2:41pm On Mar 23, 2024
My view on this matter is a bit different, and I am looking at it from the perspective of a neutral person who has no stake in Edo matters.

First, was Shuaibu wrong to dump Osho for Obaseki? Really, I don't know what went wrong with the two, but Osho was so power intoxicated as the APC chairman. So, I can't blame this man.

Second, Obaseki knew what he passed through, and if this man had not supported him, he would have been a goner. Obaseki was rattled, but this man stood by him and used all his political influence to give him a second term.

Third, does Shaubi deserve to be the governor? What are the arrangements on the ground? I don't think there is any arrangement, and this man is qualified to contest.

Fourth, the same Obaseki misbehaved and started doing nonsense with Wike after that one used his position to make him the PDP flag bearer when he didn't deserve it.

From the way I see it, Obaseki is a real monster who will be levelled. Everyone is watching and people can see the monster in Obaseki. For sure, Obaseki is dead politically because everyone knows that he is a betrayal and a demon. Work with Obaseki at your peril.

If Shuaibu scales through this and becomes the governor, or he partners with another candidate, Obaseki will face EFCC. He will be seriously dealt with. Shuaibu will open his nyash sote, dem go flog am well.

Obaseki is brutal, an ingrate, a selfish politician, a monster, and above all, a useless personality.
