pls what business can i start with 12 million Naira?
In this country right now, you should do a very "sure" business. Also, do what govt will not kill. POS business is going soon. Hope you know. Such kind of business, do not go into it. Also, sales along the street or renting of shop for a business in an insecure area is not the way. Businesses you know nothing about, don't do it.

The only evergreen business I know which has been making money for so long, and will continue making money is gardening. But on one condition: learn it. Do not rely on anyone.

Use a stone to kill two birds. Real estate + gardening. Buy two to six plots of land in an urban area where there is development already and free from bandits. Fence the land, put a security house there with a kitchen, toilet, bath ...where you can stay. Put a borehole and solar system there.

The whole set-up is an asset which will increase in value with time. You can not lose. Then, start practising gardening on the land. Guy, if you put something good there, believe me, you can N100m annually depending on your capability. But it will surely take time before you grow to that stage. The good thing is that your land will keep appreciating. If you need an emergency fund, you can sell a plot of your land and cash out.

Anything outside the above, my hands no dey there..

Most Nigerians are passing through a lot. Poverty is so rampant, yet, they compound it more. It is a sad story.

Just imagine someone who wants to start a business with N80k ($50). I mean, what exactly will $50 do? Oh Lord of mercy.

If you are reading this, go acquire an evergreen skill that will keep putting food on your table. When I look at people around this country, I just shake my head cos honestly, these people will suffer seriously in this time of AI. Most will lose their jobs very soon.

My prayer is that Nigeria should return to Agriculture. Govt should deliberately find a way to create jobs for these people on farms. Cos if you don't have the skills needed these days, na hunger ooo. I just pray govt comes to their aid by going into agric massively so they can be fruit pickers on farms.

U ppl are really the problem we have in this country, u and your likes. So Gandollar is now someone to emulate? Hope u know gandollar represents collecting kick backs in dollars?
The way you understand it is how you interpreted it, and that's your limit. If you want to learn, you will ask why Ganduje or Gandollar. And since you want to show yourself, I will leave you with your limitation.

Stay humble so you can gain knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. "I too Know" like you don't learn.

My love for Prof Charles is super high because this is the man who brought everything good in the banking sector to Nigeria. OBJ found this man in his second term, and he delivered. I remember how our banks used to be. God bless Prof Soludo.

Also, I told Igbos that if they don't vote for this man as the governor, they will regret it. Thankfully, he won the election, and just imagine what this man is doing.

Soludo and Ngozi Iweala are the only Igbos whom I can say Nigeria will collectively vote for because they have shown qualities of good leadership. I think if either can move quickly to build a network of associates in the northern part of Nigeria, Igbo can be in Aso Rock sooner than expected. If they can learn from Bola Tinubu's style who partnered with the north and MKO Abiola. If they decide to do Zik and Awo's tribalistic politics, they will get nowhere. May God put a Ganduje in every good politician's career. Amen!

Happy 2 years Anniversary Sir.

Every senator/ house rep is awarded money for their community development. And dem dey embezzle am. Dem dey even pad the budget to inflate what they need. Gbaja, the present chief of staff was the former speaker of the house rep. His constituency is Surulere. Last two months, he invited dignitaries to commission different renovations there. I live close to the area and it is true. He renovated private homes too. He is the one who gave them this transformer too.

Absolute rubbish! grin grin with all these your so called knowledge about how to get rich i bet you are still stagnant where you are still struggling, you can keep dreaming, there is nothing wrong with it,

I don't work 8 to 4, i don't even have a job, i am not doing anything, i just sit at home in my house daily and eat and lazy about and i am sure that i am still better than you are financially. I don't NEED wealth, why da fork would i NEED $500 Million? For what? So i can go about letting poor people like you know that i am rich? Or to go about intimidating poor people like you with my wealth? Make people feel inferior, make them feel hopeless co's they are not wealthy, That's all wealthy folks do. As i said, keep dreaming. You are deluded.

Again, i ask, why da fork would you need all that wealth for? Why would you NEED to own 50 houses? 2 dozens cars? And 3 private Jets? Why?

Still haven't explained what your so called law of attractions mean. I think all these rubbish are what you have made up in your cone head. If you know how to get rich you would not be on here trying to teach me or us how to get rich, Keep on dreaming.

Law of attraction my ass! grin
Poor thinking. What a pity!

The bolded part sums everything. Go find a 8 to 4 job first so you can reason well. And if you are still lazy to do that like you wrote above, your kind are laying about around Nigerian bus stops. The ones politicians are using are doing agbero there. At least, go make money to eat. Go mingle and disccus with them. This thread is not for you.

Apply wisdom "small small". You posted a screenshot showing Mike Tyson was bankrupt in 2003. That was 21 years ago. Mehn! Apply wisdom na.

Also, read well. Didn't you read where I wrote that he lost money? Ha ba! Why is it that you are too hasty?

As I wrote, Tyson acquired a skill that will pay him a lifetime. He is getting endorsements right and left. For your information, he is fighting Paul Jake the YouTuber and one of the most recent WWE stars who fought May Wheather in a casual fight. Have you seen Tyson's recent training? The thing is that Tyson was reckless after the real trainer who discovered him died. And he wasn't working hard. Go and watch his training at over 50 years now. Go jam, Tyson.

Do you know that he trained Ngawnnou who faced Anthony Joshua recently? Do you know how much he earned? You know nothing. Tyson is extremely rich now.

Do you know that he used to run a marijuana farm? Go check out how much he made before many people rushed into the business. Tyson was making around $500,000 profit per month from that greenhouse farm.

By the way, Donald Trump filed for business bankruptcy four times. Lol. This is to tell you that there must be a reason. When you file personal or business bankruptcy in the US, it doesn't mean you are down ooo at times.

Yes, Mike is rich, Mike has always being very rich, as you said, he had a big mouth when he was young, now that he is older he is behaving himself.

I fail to understand all these your law of attraction rhetoric, grin i have never heard of it..

Everybody will not and are not meant to be rich or millionaires, some will work 8 to 5, some will make enough depending on their needs, wealth is relative, what you consider as rich or poor may not be the same as everyone else, some people want enough to live a comfortable life, some wants to be millionaires, some just want a simple life, it is not how much you have or how wealthy you are, it is how useful are your wealth to you. Do you need that much wealth?
Looks like you rush to get things done. This is one of the faults of people who are destined to be great. "Over sabi" and "impatience". Return to my post, and read again where I specifically wrote that if you are comfortable with your 8 to 4 job, it is ok. That's your limit, and it is fine.

Does one need so much wealth? It depends on your ability and limitations. One does not need much for himself, but when you are destined to do great things, and you are equipped to make so much, please, don't. Cut that destiny short. Se you hear me? Na your wahala.

This is what I get from your useless response to my post. Your destiny is 8 to 4 jobs, embrace it. It is your destiny. And enjoy it. Make sure of what you have there. It is your destiny and not others. Of course, not everyone is meant to be rich. People like you are meant to be employed. Na your destiny. But I will teach people how to leave an 8 to 5 job. Those who want to tap into it will. And those who want clean wealth will. You are among those who don't need wealth, and so be it. Those with wealth will employ you, send you on errands, and use you. That is it. This is your destiny. And there is nothing bad in it. So, enjoy serving those who have wealth.

Let those who can assimilate well make use of the law of attraction. Your capability cannot comprehend it. And it is ok. But you don't need to show your weakness in public that you don't understand simple things easily. No wonder you are comfortable with 8 to 4 jobs.

Pray for wisdom to answer rightly and not miss fire. Must you respond to all posts? You just yeye yourself. grin

The same laws they claimed are directly from God. Scammers!!! So, God bends too...right? See eh. Religion is a messed up thing for the human race.

When I read front-page comments on NL, I laugh, and so I avoid them because they are mostly rubbish.

Some mentioned Mike Tyson and bla bla bla. People don't get it. Or is it poverty or illiteracy in Africa that is making people to not be well-informed? Mike Tyson is gaddam rich now. Sportsmen don't fade off easily even after retirement as long as they set up a small amount to keep fit. Endorsements will always come. So, getting into sports can give you a lifetime opportunity. Tyson has just learned to keep his mouth shut and not expose himself to girls and uncle tax agencies. Did he lose money? Yes. Was he naive? Yes. But he has grown. He is rich.

The Law of Attraction
Listen, I learned a lesson some years ago. It is not too late for anyone to make a financial breakthrough. Listen again...you cannot make it via 8 to 5 regular job. That job is to keep you fit till you make it. If you decide to be comfortable in that job, it is ok. But you can make more money.

The only way to do it is to do similar things these guys do. Work smart like Antony Joshua. Get a skill that gives extremely high rewards. That skill is what will make you. But you need a regular income to keep yourself together while learning such a skill.

Position yourself such that people like Joshua Tyson, Okacha, Kanu, Dangote, Musk, Otedola, Adenuga, etc will patronize you. It may not be Otedola who will notice you, but DJ Cuppy. And that's it. Tinubu may not notice, but Seyi or Remi. Or it may be Gbaja. And that's it.

Do not lobby around them like how Nigerian upcoming politicians turn themselves to slaves, let them approach you. That skill is the ONLY reason they will find you. Davido will give you a front seat with Akon, Drake, Chris Brown, etc if he needs your skill badly. And then, guess what? Your network expands madly.

Again I repeat, let the law of attraction work in your life.

Napoli will know what's up very soon. The team and the city both have a serious issue they need to address. They were lucky Maradona signed for their team. So, they want a single man to do everything and stay loyal to them till the end like Diego. I am sure Osimhen was ready to do that, but his skin color was the only hindrance. Lol.

I so much like Osimhen's handler, and that Osimhen himself is playing the silent "mumu" card with them. They quickly forced him to sign another contract so that this coming summer he will not go free. Lol. They know how badly he has been treated na. At least, let them cash out with him. Before that team will ever smell top 5 of the league again, they will cry. All those players will understand the burden Osimhen had been carrying. That team can't buy good players. So, let them go again and scout for a very cheap player hoping one day they will get another Maradonna and Osimhen. You are absolutely wrong.
Says you. Lol. You dey beat your chest on this?

Though I'm not an Igbo man but I believe an Igbo man as a president can unite this country even more than any other tribe. I know for a fact that despite all the noise about Biafra from ignorant and poverty-stricken sections of the Igbos there are many of (especially their elites and other enlightened ones among them) who do do not belief in Biafra but have absolute faith in Nigeria.
In a nation with over 250 tribes. Ibo is just one. What about the rest? Have you ever thought about how the whole of SS will be if we keep playing this tribal game?

Igbo produced the first president of Nigeria - Zik. Yoruba and the whole of SS did not even produce the number 1 and number 2 of Nigeria for so long. And talking of Biafra, you are the one who needs to be educated. I will not go into the details. Just know the truth. The north is the reason an Igbo man will NEVER be the president. Go mark my word. Igbo will NEVER step into Aso Rock as long as the core north is part of Nigeria.

I consider it outright madness for someone to think that an Igbo presidency would break Nigeria. These are some of the stupid theories people like you use to programme the subconscious mind of the gullible people around you against Igbos.
Dey play. You are the naive one. A tribe that went into war. Destroyed everything. Dey play.

An Igbo man deserve to be given a chance to also rule this country I believe it's just a matter of time it will come to pass and Nigeria will be better for it!
Is anyone blocking Igbo? Did anyone block Peter Obi? Did the Igbo not contest? You need to check yourself. See...the only way anyone can be the president of Nigeria is to win an election. Shikena. So, who is saying an Igbo man should not be a president here?

The issue here is that they are losers. Yes. In the days when the whole SS population was theirs, the weakest link was the Yoruba. But they decided to partner with a region. Of course, Awolowo tried with Zik. He failed. Meanwhile, the political party Zik used to become the president was created by a Yoruba man - Herbert Macaulay who "dashed" Zik the party. Don't you think Yoruba and Igbo should be one? Go read history ooo and know why all the other regions do not trust Igbo anymore. Not only Yoruba....Hausa, Fulani and all the tribes in the SS do not trust Igbo.

Now that Igbo has seen that he has lost grip of Nigeria totally (they used to be extremely powerful), they want to force other regions to make them the president. Jonathan who is an Ijae man won an election. Ijaw is not up to 1/50 of the whole Igbo population oòoo. That Ijaw man won an election. Let the Igbo get ready for another election. What are they afraid of? grin

For me, I don't care. I just know that if this bill is passed eventually, it is the end of Nigeria. And I will be so glad. And if it doesn't, Igbo should get ready again in 2027. Peter Obi is the striker of the team. I am sure he has his team ready. Fight for Aso Rock, and stop trying to go through the backyard to get Aso Rock.

Are Igbo cowards? Nope. I don't think so. They are very tough. Let them come on board again. grin

No be everything person dey use do "stubborn stubborn". Yoruba strategically partnered with the North, and they are carrying along SS. Na only Igbo day behind. Why? Dem wan still use force. We go see na. That "izobu zobu" mentality...we go see where the thing goes leads them. Lol.

Igbo....on your mark....get set... 2027 election! Let's meet there. No go use law force others put you there. 2027...election. let us meet again.

With all standard Emmanuel Amunike is ahead of him for now.

At best appoint Amunike and let Finidi George assist
How do you know that he isn't ripe for the job? Have you tested him?

Why do you want to rush the interview process? So cos we have matches ahead, they should rush the interview process...right?

NFF is not going to rush the process, and I support it. Finidi is the present assistant, and it is right to allow him to go ahead. This is normal.

Listen, every assistant is a potential leader. This is the rule all over the world for every role. What has he learned from the ex-leader? Let him go ahead and show us. If he passes, then he gets it. To me, it is fair. Though, the panel is still there to evaluate the process.

The only issue with anything in Nigeria is corruption. Those guys making the decision may appoint a coach who they can control and make more money from, and if this happens, we will keep losing just the way Nigeria is already losing it politically, economically, and as a nation in general.

Police will dump their guns and enter the bush to farm. Even bandits will think twice cos dem no wan die.

Insecurity is bad, Govt insensitivity, high cost of living and starvation are the Worst things that have happened to Nigerians

In one day ova 200 Nigerians die cos of insecurity not Obesity,
First, I don't argue with people, but you have pointed out a vital issue. Hmmm. I agree with you; however, let us look at both sides with an unbiased mind.

Increase Tax will only complicate economic hardship, prices will rise, sales will drop and more companies will fold up thereby skyrocketing unemployment, we cater for workers that lose there jobs
I agree that a tax increase will complicate the hardship, but an increase in tax on a product that is affecting us will not hurt. For example, if we are ready to make Naija better, import duties and taxes for import must go up while exports must be reduced. My point is that a tax increase has its purpose in both ways. But before we do that, the arrangement for internal production must be on the ground.

The main point here is this: What is killing us? We will use high imports and taxes to kill it, so we can encourage internal production.

iF there are health concerns it is the duty of NAFDAC to come up with measures to ensure Products circulating the market are good for consumption and continue sensitizing the people on intake ...
If it takes years to start making the United States Department of Agriculture correct some of these things, who is NAFDAC? Bad people are bad businessmen producing these poisons and they always give incentives to lawmakers everywhere. So, it is hard. Na one opportunity health practitioners who understand these issues take. They grab it once and make use of it. If they don't, story oooo.

Tobacco companies are heavily taxed but as it stopped people from smoking ... are there no lessons to take for that ...or we must just continue to make life difficult for the masses every day.
You are wrong with tobacco. Guy, in the 30s to 50s when tobacco was the main thing, these people were portrayed as smoking means power, stylish, big boy, etc. If you are not a kid, you should remember this point I am going to make here. In the 80s, Marlboro made an ad that had a fine handsome and well-built cowboy with his hat and horse beside him showing elegance, power, and stylish. People smoke in public. Guy, go check, the percentage of smokers has reduced drastically.

common malta Guinness as become something an average Nigerian can't afford, even water is #200 and some useless confused idiots are urging more taxation, is it there father obesity
Since you mentioned water here, I have the right response. It seems you are so into soda. Lol. Tell me, is malta Guinness a necessity for a poor man hungry? Let's start from there. If water now, then you are right. If the government puts a high tax on water we will protest. But soda? Come on!

What you should advocate for is that govt should move that high tax to compensate water producers and not pocket it. If we make soda more expensive and water cheaper, is it bad? Sir, you made a vital point, and what we need to do on Twitter and social media is to tell organisations pressing for this policy to move the extra tax into giving water producers a cut. If I were involved, I would go for a full 100% tax holiday for water producers and make soda producers pay all water. Come and see how they will abandon soda production and give us quality water at an extremely cheap price. Sachet pure water that is bad will likely have to start making quality products too to survive in the market.

Guy, it is a policy-making we are discussing ooo. I am a public policy expert sir, and these things are argued like this in the Senate.

See, if we were both senators, I would counter you with the points above, and then crown it with this point: remember I opened my post by telling you that we must ask ourselves the things killing us. Is soda drinks killing us economically?

Here is the answer: it looks good Mr Senate president. The advantage of it is temporary, but if we look well, this thing has been robbing us of human capital for years. Human capital is productivity. If we want to produce internally, we need youths and experienced adults. But what do we have? After our boys have grown into men of experience, they are removed from the system at the age of 40 to 60 because of HBP, diabetes, and other diseases.

I would then bring out the number of people sugar-associated drinks kill yearly and compare it with insecurity. Guys, don't you get it?

You talk of 200 kids....and bla bla bla. Go and check the number of sugar consumption taken from us yearly. And I will give you proof that sugar is the cause of these diseases. I will link obesity to these diseases, sir. And also, I will give instances where obesity is not involved and these diseases manifested.

Now, get on board and give me a good counterargument to what I have raised here.

If these had made news when carbonated drinks where cheap and affordable for all Nigerians it for make sense

But NASR urging govt to increase tax on carbonated drinks whose prices as jump to ova 250% beyond affordability level is highly ridiculous ...
whoever wants to save Nigerians should urge govt to implement moves that will enhances security and as well open land borders

Trust me Insecurity and hunger are taken more Nigerians life than any imaginary "Obesity" lipsrsealed
Soda is bad. The worst thing that has happened to us. Take a different view. What if good people want to take advantage of this period people drink less of these things because there is no money. They have decided to strike now to save us, is it not smart? How? Perhaps, they see that soda producers are less concerned about fighting this with govt because their sales are low already. So, let's hit them more badly now so they can go off the market once and for all permanently. Do you think they will not fight back when their sales are high?

See, they want to save you, but you deliberately want to still die prematurely. If this hunger will correct many things, so be it.

If you are holding on to soda drinks, you will fight me and even insult me when I tell you to start gardening. These businessmen making money while killing us deliberately make you lazy. You don't want to cook. Right. You still want those "sharp sharp" instant food. Right? See, noodles are next that will be attacked by these good people. I know you will start crying. But see, na save dem dey save you.

You better step back and decide to live long in good health. You better make the decision now. And the best way is that you get yourself a plot of land and produce your food. I know this is the only thing you will ever want to do. Don't worry...na your die...not mine. grin We will write RIP. Remember Mr Ibu. We don forget his movies already. Na so. No be my die. When he was consuming junk when he was busy acting...he would curse anyone who told him to cook. Why? He had no time. Did you see the result? No wahala. Keep drinking your soda..

the majority cause of diabetes is not related to drinking soft drinks, but the too much stash and carbohydrates we consume from our food rice cassava, etc
Sugar is sugar. Don't deceive yourself. And listen, these items of food you posted have fibre in them, so they are still very ok. But drinks don't have fibre to delay releasing sugar into your blood. Na gateway straight to diabetes. I dont know where you got this lie from. I wont argue with you...but see...I encourage you to drink soda. Na your die...no be mine. grin
