Most people see a fault in this man...well..maybe yes. But do we need to depend on our siblings everytime? Or perhaps, the wife is bad...maybe.

Nigeria...hmmm! Let us fix our system. Naija are japa-ing cos US, UK, and Canada takes care of their citizens serious, and they need helping hands to care for their citizens in need of help. Care giver job is a big business there. Let us fix our health system. This man's health insurance should be able to cater for this situation if he had it. We need to fix the system so that we don't need to hear this kind of story again.

How on earth will someone say masculine in male is gay? grin You too dey watch American movies....presenting masculine men that engage in it as the real deal. If there is any element of gay in a mascular man ....trust me ...he doesnt want it. He wants to roll his yansh and twist his bom bom.

most gays are masculine
Wow! So, the reason a masculine gay kid turns to gay is that most gays are masculine. Wow! Wow!! Wow!!! Says you or from which statistics? grin

Oga! Masculine men and gay men are two parallel lines. You don't even know the characteristics of gay. Very funny. I don't even need to argue this. The gay gene they say has some opposite sex attributes...so how can masculine in men be gay? That's not gay. But that masculine guy is poking a man's anus or releasing his anus cos he wants money. Period. Being masculine as a kid means there is no gay gene. Get that into your head. Any masculine person in it is cos of sapa/greediness. Period!

What you need to do: prove beyond reasonable doubt that the gay gene is not having the opposite-sex trait. Guess what? You will have to go against scientists who say the gay gene is being like the opposite sex.

Oga, you no go kill me jare. Go better school oooo. How can you say masculine in males is gay? grin

Devastated why? You sound like he's a criminal or a demon. You and your family will have to learn how to accept that side of him, show him love and protect him by not outing him to people you know till he's ready to do so himself.

Let me add this, being effeminate as a young male child doesn't mean one has a tendency of being gay. Most gays I know were very masculine when they were young.
Shapa is the reason a masculine man will give his anus out. cheesy

Would have appreciated it if you had dropped the 10 dancing threads. Anyway, there is no need. He is a dancer, so, there is nothing wrong with it. But I understand your point.

The truth is that Nigeria is not sustainable the way we are running it.

If you look at Osun very well, during the time of Awo, Zik, and Balewa, it is an agricultural zone. As soon as oil was discovered, everyone forgot about what they used to generate income. And for the fact that FG gives them huge cash every month, they are relaxed.

I don't know how a governor in Osun, Ondo, and Ekiti lobby and I would approve such if I were the president. Where will the cash come from? When I have electricity to tackle first. grin

Cash crops are what most of these states should tap into, but they don't want to. In fact, they have no idea about how to do it. None of our governors can do it. Even Tinubu himself does not know about Agriculture...and those with him don't know about it.

You see Akeredolu during his lifetime pressing hard for medicinal cannabis for his Ondo. That is the way to go. Agric is the way for most of the poor states in Nigeria....but they aren't thinking about it.

Foreign investors will tap first into states with reasonable GDP. So, I don't really blame him. The people who voted for bad leaders are the ones to blame...and they should enjoy who they voted in. Lol.

A beg...leave Adeleke alone jare...let him dance. grin When Nigeria is serious, we will split the nation....and a state like Osun will return fully to Agriculture when there is no more percentage to collect from oil money.

U may be right, and u may not at the same time. 80% of those who finished as computer scientists from conventional universities know nothing about coding. I can bet that too. All universities in Nigeria use outdated curriculum. Which university in Nigeria teaches coding with all these new generation programming languages such as C++, C#, python, PHP etc?
How many professors of computer science can code with python, the simplest programming language?
Lecturers at conventional universities will go online to download NOUN's study materials for their students, how's there a difference between NOUN and conventional universities? Dont forget they use same curriculum, which is out of date.
You are right in a way. By the way, I studied abroad...both undergraduate and post.

However, I noticed that the tension of a real Nigerian institution will drain you to force yourself to learn it. UNILAG and some other universities use modern languages. This I know. The way they teach it is nonsense, but I know that some serious students go to NIIT and now there are online resources to learn modern languages. But I cannot say this with NOUN. Those who don't even step inside classes. grin No one even motivates you to want to do it. They don't even know what is going on in the industry. Noun students are just there to get the certificate. Their minds aren't in what they are studying. Lol. This is my point bro.

By the way...bro...I was on a thread and they were saying Nigerian professors are underpaid..I was like...they are even overpaid. If most professors don't know Python, how can they really go into AI? Anyway, there are some UNILAG doctors and profs I know...they are into machine coding and they work with oil firms. They are cashing out big time. Those don't have time for strikes. This was what I told them...if a professor is good at what he does, his salary is just a chicken change. Lol. Most people here do not agree...they were busy insulting FG, and some other lecturers came on board and started defending their inefficiencies. I laughed...and I told them that...they are olodos. Na that olodo one mod kuku ban me. I smiled. Lesson learned. I will not try to make a failure to see where he goes wrong. Let him just prosper "higher and higher" in his failure. grin

I have guys that finished their Bsc from there and have gone abroad for their post graduate studies, I also have 3 professors from federal universities who are currently students there, running other programmes.
1. BSc to doing postgraduate abroad is a smart move. That's good. A certificate to move forward.
2. A professor has made something good for himself. The person only wants another certificate from his present discipline to do something else (maybe his passion).

So, you too can see that NOUN is mostly about getting that paper. A progressive move. I can employ that guy who furthers his study with it elsewhere, and definitely, the professor is already smart. Both men are only after the paper to do something. The professor may be studying theology there...lol...and might be a professor of engineering. Gat it? Just for the "pali" sake.

I cannot employ fresh graduate because I have checked them well, and over 95% who graduated from NOUN do not gain much knowledge. They don't usually perform well..meaning that the teaching methods adopted there aren't excellent.

Get the cert and use it to upgrade yourself. Thats it. And learn more.

Nigeria is hard....so if it's the only way to quickly get a first degree, it is fine. But I don't respect anyone who attends NOUN. I have not met one single person who passed through their department of computer science and can code well. If you know one, I would love to discuss with the person how he learned it well. Lol..

Lol...

Frontpage comments are funny.

Fact 1: Nigeria is a corrupt nation; therefore, public officeholders loot.

Fact 2: Despite the loot going on, a politician can still make a landmark record.

Fact 3: Other Nigerians started "beefing" that region the politician decided to still do something. Lol.

Fact 4: If we want progressive development in all parts of the country, we should change the system and not the people. We start by making sure we make instant electronic transmission of votes from centres to the main system, and we install at least 10 CCTVs in all the voting units (I believe we can handle 2 million units...we are talking about a nation for goodness sake).

Fact 5: If we cannot achieve fact 4 above for the 2027 elections, Nigeria should split because we will never be progressive.

Tinubu did his "abrakatabra" in Lagos as a governor, and Femi followed his steps as a lawmaker. Tinubu is the president while Femi despite being the number 3 citizen of Naija resigned to be Tinubu's chief of staff. Do you not see the pattern? grin

You are busy insulting him despite what he did (we know he looted), but your own senators and lawmakers did nothing to your region. You left the region and moved to Lagos, PH, and Abuja, and you enjoy what they are doing presently there. Then, you move to hijack the regions starting with Lagos is no man's land. wink

So, you think they will allow you to come make Lagos like your region. Ok ooo. Oh! Lagos used federal income when it was the capital. But you forgot that all the sources of income FG created while Lagos was the capital are shared among all states just like oil. Lol. Yet, these Lagosians started with the little they could get and they built on it. Your governors are busy embezzling and you left your regions. Lol. Ok ooo. Keep on hating Lagos.
Politics › Re: APC Promises Heavy Defeat As Atiku Eyes 2027 Presidential Bid by epainos:
Nigeria should forget this trash PDP or whatever. We need to enforce INEC to put into law the immediate electronic transfer of voter results directly from the poll centre. We need to erase anything paper that these people have been using to rig elections.

While PDP is planning on merging with other candidates, I am sure PDP is aware that Peter Obi will not step down for anyone. If PDP wants him, they should accept him as the flag bearer as he has shown them that he is bigger than the VP position. grin Though, I do not like him because the record is there that he did not do anything spectacular when he was a governor for 8 years...and he is a crook too. Pandora's papers finished him. Lol. But the truth must be told, he has shown Atiku that he made him almost beat Buhari in 2019. Atiku underrated him and felt Ibo governors would do it. And for the fact that he stepped on Wike's ego. Lol. Let us not forget that Wike will not leave PDP. Lol. He will make sure he scatters them in 2027 so that APC can win again. So, how will PDP position itself? This is why I would rather focus on making the voting system completely digital, and install cybersecurity to combat hacking. Then, we need to push for live coverage of monitoring everything.

How many polling units do we have that we cannot install CCTV cameras everywhere and broadcast live all at the same time? Ha ba! With the money we have been budgeting our elections, we can do better. We can't have up to 100,000 polling boots na. So are we saying we cannot pull together 1 million units with 10 to 20 CCTV for each and have a storage facility to store all the videos for just only 10 hours that elections will take? Ha ba! If we cannot do this as a nation, we are not ready to grow.

Nigeria focuses on wrong ideas. We know Yakubu messed us up big time by refusing to use direct digital transmission of votes, and the Supreme Court supported him. So, what are we supposed to do? No one is saying anything now. It is acter Feb 2027 we will start crying again. Lol.
Business › Re: CBN Bars Crypto Bank Account Operators From Cash Withdrawal by epainos:
Hmmmm!

This is not a bad move, but still not the answer. With all Eme-werey "gra gra" huge amounts of money moved in and out of crypto daily....if you know, you know. Lol. In the initial stage, Eme-werey was able to sieze a huge amount of money. Go ask what he did with them... that guy is a real werey.

Any move we make must make the naira strong...and we must endeavour to make sure we continue with the infrastructural development we have started. It should expand to other states. Lagos should be the NY of Africa. We need to work towards preventing it from sinking, remove anything from 10-storey buildings in some areas and put 20 to 50-storey buildings. And many more...

Back to this CBN policy...I believe this is what any reasonable person would do at this time, but it may not solve the problem entirely. It still depends on curbing corruption. This is the KEY. If we don't curb it, it will bury our economy. There is no policy corruption cannot bury no matter how good it is.

In my opinion, the real (I am repeating here cos I have written about it many times) problem we have is tribalism, and corruption is embedded in it. We always cover our tribesmen cos we think other tribes did it and nothing was done. So, if our tribe man does it, he should go unpunished too. Lol. And our electoral decisions are based on who is from our tribe and not the best man for the position. In fact, no good person will want to go into Nigerian politics. For where? Like telling me to go and mix up with those crooks...never.

So, the best option is to split. Nigeria will eventually sink. If BRICS can overlook Nigeria and pick South Africa, something is wrong with Nigeria. We should not keep forcing a marriage that has refused to work. I am sure that the 5 regions (or central region can divide also and go with who they want to make four nations) will do as separate nations.

like i said earlier, the irony of having an inferiority complex is that thiose who have one dont know they have one and dont know how obvious it is to others. confidence, false confidence, as well and inferiority complex project farther than you think. You only fool people of inferior minds.
I wrote about this. But this is talking to you directly. You can't pronounce well...your native accent is affecting the way you pronounce well...and you are saying that your wealth can bull crap it. Lol...Is it not better to learn how to pronounce well? You are very funny. I can bet that you have not travelled out of West Africa. If you have, you cannot write this. Lol. You are covering your inferiority complex with this.

President Tinubu pronounces his words clearly. Can you say he forms? Na cos you can't pronounce well. If you can...you will know when you make mistakes. I used to have an American friend and she knows I am open to corrections. She corrected my pronunciation many times at the initial stage...and I accepted it. For example... "debt"...the b is silent...but Nigerians pronounce b. They can't know you are saying debt when you add b to it na. Lol. And many other examples. There are times you say tank...and they don't know it is thank you say. Get it right. Lol.

You have no idea how many times serious minded people stop listening to someone once they speak in a fake accent and how they are prepared to listen to someone with bad phonetics but obvious intelligence.
It is because you cannot identify a fake accent and someone who speaks clearly. Fake accent wants to copy the high and low tones used without pronouncing them well. I am not talking about that. I am talking about pronouncing your words well. That woman in the video pronounced her words well. She should be employed in the radio station. Does President Tinubu use a fake accent? Yet, he pronounces well. A beg...you don't understand my point because you don't know. It is why I said you are the ignorant one. Lol.

Good examples Zack of FIRS is not the most eloquent but you know this man is intelligent and you want to listen to what he says. contrast that with Joy Okpe of Arise news, once she starts to talk i switch the channel. All she projects in pretentiousness, she is an empty head who talks absolute nonsense, I would rather listen to Abati with his thick Nigerian accent because he often makes sense.
Just listen to the rubbish you put here. You cannot identify people who pronounce well. So, because she adds the high and low tone to the way she speaks... that's an upgrade...it is wrong. Guy...na real inferiority complex dey worry you. Ha ba!

carry on in your ignorance. however , I want to ask you how many chinese can speak English properly, it hasnt stopped them becoming the 2nd largest economy in the world. If you have something to offer, the world will adapt to you the problem is not whether you say "tank" or "thank", the problem is most of you have nothing to offer. We make fun of the chinese English but we eagerly embrace them and do business with them...why? because they have something to offfer, that we want or desire!!! Focus on having something to offer, the purpose of language is communication. So long as we can communicate we are good. If you speak queen's english but have nothing to offer you will be found out and you are of no use to anybody.
You are the ignorant one. It is not about the money we are speaking here...or how robust an economy is. It is about speaking a language well. If I was to learn the Mandarin language, I would wish to speak in a way, they will understand all my words. So, I have to identify letters I have problems with and then work on them. This is what accent reduction is about.

No matter how rich or poor the Chinese are...they try their best to go for accent reduction when they are out of their country. I have lived with Chinese. Speaking English is so hard for them...and they keep putting in effort. This is about learning a non native language.

Stop hiding behind ...money and wealth for your weakness. You have words and letters you pronounce wrongly and badly. It is not bad to work on them.

That they try hard to understand your bad pronunciation does not mean every positive person should think that his wealth is all that matters. People saying eh eh eh eh eh to you cos they dont understand your words can be frustrating. Not everything is wealth or money. And you...you are from a poor nation...doing yanga. grin Who will waste his time doing eh ehe eh ehe eh to a broke person from a broke nation?

Good luck!
