NigeriaIsGreat:You can't be working in shell and not be driving an SUV, oshara in 4 years as junior staff, except you don't want to. My cousin works at chevron warri. He comes to lagos every 2 weeks on chopper. He'd spend 2 weeks in lagos and return with a chopper 2 weeks after...2 weeks on and 2 weeks off. He's paid in millions. Free hotel, free chopper to and fro |
Frezhkid10:I know. That's why i said wilful retirement. You said you're not working with them anymore after spending some years. She worked for 20 years at Shell and left. I've seen a senior staff leave shell with close to 1bn naira as retirement benefit |
Goalnaldo:Yea |
NigeriaIsGreat:Shell will give u over 5times of that on wilful retirement. My aunt got 500m in 2012 after working and chopping money for shell for 20 years. |
NaijaRoyalty:They couldn't just hide their feelings. Who no like beta tin. Forget what Keyamo, Ffk and Dino are saying. If you sit them down in a closer they'd tell you their minds. They're only being paid for the job they're doing. Or you think it's free? Even Reno isn't left out. Imagine keyamo saying Obi is more popular than atiku, instead of attacking him . We all go to the same market to buy things afterall. Fuel don dey scarce again after bursting their bubbles on pil bunkering at the creeks by obi. Dem dey vex gaan. Bad government. |
Corporate2020:If you're Christian, you'd must have learnt of the woman brought to Jesus who was caught in the act of adultery. You're not perfect yourself and there's nothing God can't change. That's her past which everyone is also guilty of, in one way or the other. By the way, learn how to be civil with your post next time. Being insulting would only expose you and your manners Seun Mynd44 Nlfp-mod Kindly take note. |
MrOwonikoko:This is a vigilante. The day he visited benue to see flood victims. You should ask Ortom that question. |
ictplotter:Did you actually mean the opposite? He remains one of the best around. Please can you tell us what he did to you? |
Ini Edo was my crush in those days. I was always saying in my mind that whoever married her would be such a lucky guy. How I got to know she couldn't conceive was shocking to me. The husband left her as a result but I found it hard to believe. She too said it was a rumour. Until a day she said she's going for surrogacy. But I can understand. All these pretty gals are always in the eyes of the money bags and politicians. Dem go don do her shege. |
Johnrake69:Don't mind them. They still blame the civil war on the current generation who weren't even born that time. They claim igbos don't believe in Nigeria only when they want to plan a political coup. Igbos don't believe in Nigeria yet, they're in military fighting boko haram., in police dealing with ipob and UGM, they hold key positions in the govt, etc. Politics in Nigeria is really a dirty game. Everybody is just looking for 5k to chop. I join our elders in Afenifere to say, Obi lokan |
Nice. Such a thing like this can only happen in a country wey sabi. Nigeria will begin to get it right the moment we stop voting along ethic and religous lines and begin voting competence and based on merit. I hope we'd learn from this. That said, a change of PM isn't the solution to their economic woes. It's a global phenomenon. Even if they change PM a thousand times, it won't stop a free fall in GBP in the coming days. Leaving the EU remains their greatest mistake. They never saw the war on Ukraine coming. |
Moh247:You're right. We've got such a rich tradition. They were actually in the process of adopting when their prayer was heard . |
JooEeL:I don't need to join issues with you. There's nowhere you want to go in the world today that I've not been to, you heard me right. There's no place like home. |
Moh247:I've seen a couple, both successful and confirmed virile in hospitals, home.and abroad, yet no issues. They ran all the tests of this world, no way! They did lots of ivf procedures yet, no solution. They now agreed to adopt, whilst still trusting in God. Long story cut short, the wife took ill. She went to the hospital for malaria test but she returned home with a different result She was confirmed weeks pregnant. The twins they had clocked one year last weekend. My street was filled up, nowhere to pass. A boy and a girl, carbon copies of their dad. |
This story might sound fake but it happens. Tell your wife to present the case to God. Both of you must be involved in this. Not every case requires medical solutions |
Coolbreeze1988:I wonder oo. I think it's a demonic spirit living in them. |
OGHENAOGIE:It's what you said from your mouth, no be me type am go back and check again. it can never be reversed. Out of your hate for obi, you kuku prayed for him. Na that kain prayer dey quick reveive irreversible answer pas. Mark it. ![]() |
JooEeL:I strongly believe in Nigeria. Where I wan go, wey i never reach for this world? No place like naija |
I know obi will be mean on terrorists and their sponsors. We need a leader like him |
general111:Good comment... a round of applause for you. Everyone had their past. Even the guy in question, if the story isn't made up....can't say he's got a pure past. There were periods of ignorance in the girl's case. If she has changed or is willing to change. She could make a good wife. On the hookups you mentioned, the government of the day had made things worse for those who can't endure hardship. The economy is vert bad. My advice for them is to keep the faith alive and trust in God instead of toeing that illicit path. Things can always get better. HIV is back with full force. I was at the FMOH recently where the director of lab was lamenting, given the results coming to them from the varuous hospitals natiinwide and the surge in ARVs. Unfortunately, our president is the sleeping type. He'd not act now, until it becomes another pandemic, God forbid. Sensitisation is very key now. People should abstain from reckless lifestyle. Hiv is better imagined than experienced. Only thise who have fallen viticim can tell. Enough said. |
Wawelexy:A teen giving a piece of advice here. |
NoApology: |
obembet:Goodluck. We are behind Obi gidigba |
Gracified2:This one Atiku is saying he's going to be president of the North and yoruba and ibo can't be president over the north? Why wouldn't they keep running to the UK and America? These guys don't care where you're from, so far you can perform. They choose people on merit, unlike Nigeria where people would queue behind ethnic and religious bigotry to choose a leader. No wonder we're this backward as a nation. For the first time, I discovered one of the major supporters of Tinubu isn't just a muslim but an extremist for that matter. The moniker made a comment today on an Asian muslim and popular writer who was attacked in the USA by an islamic extremist when delivering a speech, which caused him to lose one of his eyes and limb. The moniker exposed himself. Some people have been saying here that the majority of Muslims from my tribe are those behind Tinubu, which i always countered, but I could confirm that today. This guy called Osinbajo all manner of names prior to the primaries. Religous bigotry won't take us anywhere in Nigeria. If everyone should begin to vote across Religous lines, the results would be shocking. I, a Christian had voted both Christians and Muslims in this country since 1999. Falae in 1999, obj in 2003, yaradua( another president we never had. May his soul continue to rest in peace) in 2007, Jonathan in 2011, buhari in 2015 and Atiku in 2019. By God's grace, it is Obi in 2023. It only becomes worrisome when Religion begins to take precedence in the choice of leadership instead of merit. We're not serious as a country yet. Only primitive and backward-thinking people think this way. |
lhordspy:Oh halfaa, your government hasn't failed in economy right ? Let me ask you a simple question...how much was cefa to naira in 2015 and how much is it today? Is Benin Republic also not witnessing global inflation, do they have oil that cefa, formerly the worst performing currency has now overtaken the naira? I don't want to use the leading currency as an example for a reason. Not even the border closed on Benin Republic by buhari for over 2 years had affected their currency. The government has failed in all areas...economy, security and corruption fighting which they said were their focal points. We will deter them from coming back next year. Yes, I supported buhari in 2015 not knowing they were lying to us. I'm still looking for the 3m jobs annually which tinubu said buhari-led administration would provide during a town hall meeting here in lagos which I attended. During same meeting , buhari said he'd stop all political office holders from seeking medical treatment abroad, after a journalist asked what would he do to improve the health sector. Amazingly, hes the number1 customer of foreign hospitals today. He was wearing a black kaftan that day so I still remember very well, coughing in the middle of every comment made. |
OGHENAOGIE:The voice of man, is the voice of God . I've noted this post already . You've professed it from your mouth...that Obi no go lose next year. Thanks. |
OGHENAOGIE:If you see it as junks, na you know. UAE had complained to Nigerian government severally of the need to hasten up in evacuation of stranded Nigerians but what did they do? They said they had a list of boko haram financiers and buhari should act...what did he do? UAE govt now arrested and prosecuted bokoharam sponsors and buhari kicked. His govt said they've not be given fair hearing. What was buhari expecting uae to donwhen he failed to act? Same happened in Libya. When other nationals were leaving , Nigeria didn't act. At some point, UN had to go to Libya to lift stranded Nigerians home with their plane. Same happened in Ukraine. They couldn't act, it was already late before they did. Our citizens schooling and stranded in Ukraine had to find their way into EU when the war was raging. Some got trapped. Thanks to the UN for appealing to Russia to allow for a window of opportunities to evacuate people amd they ceased fire for a few days. What a failed government. If the country was good and our government was reasonable, would people have thought of traveling overseas to study or to be doing dirty jobs? Where's the 3m jobs monthly Tinubu promised Nigerians during campaigns in 2015? Oun lo kan indeed. We can't wait to have our image redeemed in the eyes of the world |
You're on your own. See as e dey look like bat ![]() |
Good! Unless our federal government is pushed or sanctioned, they wouldn't be awake to their responsibilities. See the result of the visa ban by the UAE authority. Must they wait till it gets this messy? Nigeria has a lot of diplomatic flaws globally . I even commented about this yesterday. Why wait until you're disgraced before acting? Sadly, those with good intentions or purposes in UAE must have lost a lot of prospects due to the visa ban by now. Later the government would be saying people aren't paying taxes, the economy is bad...blablabla The other day, Peter Obi exposed them on CNN that those engaged in oil bunkering were in government. The following week, NNPC began massive search and manhunt at the creeks with mind-boggling discoveries, to the point of setting ablaze a vessel caught loading crude illegally. Must it get to this point before they act? Obviously, APC administration had been sleeping since 2015. No wonder the economy is this bad. Yes, the econimic situation is a global thing but we wouldn't have been so badly hit, should they have managed it well. The president who's also the minister of petroleum is purely inactive. |

I watched it. A rescue speed boat came a few seconds after the man jumped down the bridge. I hope he was rescued alive |
Wisdom! Whoever succeeds Liz Truss will face a lot of econimic challenges |
