The boy child needs more attention. When we focus so much on our daughters and leave our sons to do whatever they want, we are not helping them. When we rush to defend what a man does in the name of solidarity, we're not helping ourselves. They say raising a girl child is difficult, but that's just because they wrongly believe a boy child doesn't need to be directed. What we have here is the result. |
Moh247:But they weren't debating law theories and principles. They were debating the feasibility of the manifestos presented by the two parties. It's just a coincidence that they are both lawyers, but I don't think being a SAN invariably suggests Keyamo is right or that his manifesto is superior. |
He was swinging his chair all the while. He obviously wasn't sleeping. |
Samantha123:Lol... not really true. The name "parrot" refers to a family of birds actually and there are many species of parrots (not breeds like dogs but actually different species). And many of them aren't known for talking. Those that are excellent talkers (e.g the African Grey) tend not to associate meaning to what they say. They either repeat the words over and over or use them only in a very specific context. My friend's bird screams "night!" anytime you put off the light (it's afraid of the dark). Mine only knows one word and because I praise him anytime he says that, he now believes the word is a perfect way to get my attention. And that was how he named me "biscuit". |
Samantha123:Yes, a mid-sized specie though. It's called the green cheek conure. Mine is specifically a pineapple green cheek conure... yeah, I know that's a mouthful. Lol. |
Samantha123:Ah birds are worse. Initially, instead of just begging, it would come and join me uninvited. Then when it realized that used to upset me, it started flying around me anytime I'm eating doing all the things I'd normally praise it for (like pooping at the right place or making some pleasant sounds or even keeping quite) just to get me give it what I'm eating (even though, sometimes, it ends up not liking what I'm eating). |
Small thing, nuclear! |
Samantha123:Haha... cats are lovely and very funny. Back to your issue, it's behaving that way because you used to give it some of your food before. Naturally, it would get used to it. Even when it's well fed, the idea of dining with you seems fun and it also provides a bonding experience. I know this cause my bird used to do that. I suggest you make it unlearn the act by offering it what it hates the most each time it come begging. Gradually, it'll stop. |
Rozross:... and it's obvious you don't have one. Lol |
Sack him because he is proposing a new design or because of the current value of Naira, which one? |
It's funny how the guys above missed the sarcasm here. Y'all are way too emotional to engage. Everyday, men say this same thing about women. A woman that stays alone and drives car, a woman that earns a lot of money, a woman into politics, a woman at the peak of her career, etc. all pose a risk to the extremely fragile ego of the African man. Oh... such women should be avoided. They're proud and arrogant. And surprisingly, you guys aren't even smart enough to know when someone is using sarcasm to call your attention to the salient issue. Someone above said this means she's the kind of woman that would work against her husband's success. Lol... the same way some men place a limit to how far thier wives are allowed to go? Like when they say a woman should work hard and bring something to the table, they mean provided she doesn't get richer than her husband? Y'all should chill, please. ![]() |
Lmao... Even before opening the thread, you already know 98% of comments will be secrets. Even those that do have the slightest idea where the concept is about will criticize. They want Nigeria to change for good, but they'll criticize every single step taken in to realize that. It's like they just want to wake up and see the country has changed to Dubai. ![]() |
LonelyLucifer:Orthodox? Sending these fathers to war is anything but orthodox. |
Whatsapp went down? Is it up? |
Snakes are beautiful!!! |
BigBashiru:The reality is that you can never be so sure of anything. You can kick her our even though she has genuinely changed and regrets her actions, and then end end up getting married to a more skilled pretender who is still actively into the runs business. Nothing is ever assured. Even the ladies are taking risks too. A woman could come tomorrow and say your husband is the father of her children. The police could come tomorrow and say your man is under arrest for a crime he committed years ago. So at the end of the day, only the man can decide. |
I'm not going to fight my current partner because of the sex she had before we met. People have sex. It's human nature to explore. However, I understand that knowing your lady was into sex4money in the past will cast a shadow of doubt on her morality. Is she materialistic? Is she greedy? Would she do anything for money? These are some of the doubts you'd begin to have. And you can only get answers by asking the right questions directly and indirectly. Does she regret her past? Is it something she got into due to circumstances? Is it something she wouldn't advise anyone to go into because she's learned it ain't worth it? Or is it a phase she believes a girl should go through? Or maybe something she did out of greed? You're asking these cause her changing is one thing, her leading your children in the right direction is another. Yes, she might have changed, but you need to know if she changed simply because it was time or because she regrets ever going into that. The bottom line is, only the husband can decide for himself. It's easy for unconcerned NL people to say "cast her away" but then again, we don't really care what becomes of y'all. The husband knows her better and he'll be there looking into her eyes to know if she's being honest. And most importantly, he knows himself better, and he knows if he'll be able shut that subject down and never bring it up again even during an argument. Of course, a medical test might be necessary as well. All these starts with a chat. Talk to your spouses, people. Communication is key. |
isaiah4life:Lol... they said you shouldn't accept free meals from strangers. That doesn't mean you shouldn't buy food from restaurants. You can completely eliminate the risk of buying doctored foods. Even if you cook at home, you'd still buy the food items from strangers. |
Lol... I'm reading this with my bird by my side and I'm just thinking to myself, if someone killed my parrot that I spent thousands of dollars to buy, feed, train and entertain, how would I feel? The financial costs aside, losing a pet you've bonded with for years especially one as emotional as a parrot could be very devastating. Why would anyone kill a parrot in Canada? You can't claim you thought it was a wild bird cause parrots don't exist in the wild in Canada. Heck, even the wild ones are not killed let alone someone's pet. You can't say it's hunger, a whole chicken (the very large ones) in Metro is $15. It's just that mindset of not caring about sustainability. We just want to keep taking, enjoying or destroying when we feel like without bothering about replenishment, maintenance or sustainability. We just want to wake up the next day and see our mess cleaned up and everything perfect for us to keep enjoying. |
Okoroawusa:You're not in a position to tell people what they should consider an achievement. When you've got something you've always wanted to have, it's an achievement even if it doesn't appear so to others. This should be common sense. Why are you all over the thread with negativity? |
Lol... his spokesperson said touring was "eye service". |
taylor88:Don't worry, her type wouldn't want to date men like you as well. |
Read your title again, dude. |
Karlovych:You agree with him, yet you felt the urge to call out a whole tribe. Tribalism has eaten deep into your soul. |
You guys always make dumb titles. Does this title make sense to you? Why do y'all lack creativity to this extent? |
The host was brutal. Are channel TV presenters/hosts always like that? If so, then there's hope for journalism in Nigeria. |
sageb:Women of olden days were going around with bare breasts. It was change/evolution that made those ones in 1976 put on clothes. The sane change is making them remove those clothes today. It's not just women, it's affecting everyone including men. |
Cerebellum:In 1976, our men weren't scammers, ritualists, rapists, bokoharam, etc. We didn't have the technology to make such expensive wigs or high quality pictures. However, everything/everyone is changing. Society is evolving, for good and for bad. So singling out women as if they were supposed to get stuck in time is funny. It is selective comparison in terms of coverage. And guess what, choosing 1976 is also selective comparison in terms of time. Otherwise, why did you pick that century and not the one immediately before it? Because it appeals to you? FYI, these were your African women before 1850. It was this same change/evolution that made them put on those clothes you see in the picture you shared. Just saying.

When will NL stop this 'shows cleavage' title? Who even introduced that? Someone will take a picture and y'all will bring it here to caption it "so so person shows cleavage" and everyone will start pretending as if they hate such pictures. Is it only the cleavage you're seeing in the entire picture? Is she not showing her eyes and her nose? Isn't it obvious the person's using this kind of captions have the sole intent of calling the readers' attention to something that otherwise could be be ignored? So how is such a person different from the cleavage barer herself? If you don't like it, leave the picture where she posted it. And as a Nairalander, if you find such pictures upsetting, ignore the thread. |
It's not his girlfriend. Or maybe the relationship had long gone sour before now. Nobody would record someone they really like just to embarrass them on the internet, nobody. Is it the first time she's cooking for him? How does not knowing how to prepare noodles trump the fact that she could make other meals? Is it because the guy himself knows how to make this specific meal? What stopped him from showing her how he likes it? Are these men I read about kids or they just think like the stereotypical village people? How does recording her and sharing it on the internet add any value? Clout? If this is not staged, then I think the girl is lucky to see this part of him before getting to a point of no return. |
You're a low life individual yourself. You've proven you can't see beyond ethnicity and sectionalism. Shame |

Hmm, Igbos again!! He spoke the truth though
