And your response could be, do you like it when you use me everyday even if I don't want to.
Question:
1. Did he normally force you to do it
2. Do he normally ask you that he needs to get laid
3. Do he makes you feel guilty to engage in such acts.
... I will say whatever time in the day you suspect he wants to get laid, get busy (writing, reading bible, prayers, chores, sleeping etc) cuz putting yourself in a lazy or free position can make him take the driver's seat.
What a solution! shocked shocked shocked

When has security become a justiceable right or duty?
Security is the most important right of citizens.
The practice in civilized societies is not much different from what Falana is talking about.
Security and Justice are among the important bedrocks of modern society. Without it there is anarchy.
Do you know that in some places if the road is bad and you report to the authorities and the do not respond fast, and your car suffers damage due to the bad road, you can repair your car and forward receipts to them and get refunded?
I am aware of a case some guys died due to government negligence. Their cars fell into a ravine in a road that should have been blocked, and no warning signs erected. The government paid indemnity to families of victims.
I once saw a road inside a metropolis that looked better tham a lot of our newly built "express roads" being scrapped and I asked a citizen why the road that was still good was been scrapped. The reply was epic; "the road had expired and had to be scrapped and rebuilt".
You do not really appreciate how bad things are in Nigeria until you experience other places.
Little wonder, I get annoyed when people praise the government for building roads!

A lot of utterances from people at the helm of affairs leaves much to be desired and little hope for the future.
The usual Naija solution to problems is to throw money at it.
Money that will often times develop "k-leg".
I beg help me as the Oga that said this just two questions;
(1) Oga, do you have a sample of the virus to work with?
(2) How many biosafety level 3 and level 4 laboratories do you have in the country and their locations.
Nigeria that is scared to even extract its citizens from China like other countries.
I doubt the 36 million Naira will be even enough to build and equip the right specification of laboratory for such studies. This guys do not seem to have an idea of what is involved.

AerialMapper:
Nigerian Institutions and big big complicated nonsense!

Soon the mobile networks will ask us to come and queue to update our sim reg with our NIN or BVN.

The amount of data collected by individual organizations is alarming. FRSC, Banks, mobile networks, Passport office, NIMC, VIO, JAMB. Simply harmonize the database and you can cross reference. By now, a simple thumb print scan in any agency of the government should be able to draw out all the information about you but that is too much work
Truely, these guys are clueless and always pursuing the sysmptons instead of the disease.
The reccurring request for personal data of citizens by Nigerian institutions is unreasonable and reveals how clueless the Managers are.
In all these requests like Driver's license, BVN, NIN, Passport Issuance, SIM Card Registration, etc you are compelled to drop your fingerprints. We all know that fingerprints are unique. Why can't they link their databases and therein create a unique database and stop inconveniencing citizens. Little wonder the US took their recent action.
I have not been to any other country with such multiplicity. It is really irritating. If someone has a 1000 SIMs it should not be a problem as long as it is traceable to him. In a lot of countries you can get off the plane, buy a local SIM and make a call. The call or calls you made makes you easily traceable as if needed all the security agencies need to do is the contact the prople you called and get info on you. Our agencies should sit up and quit pretending to be working.

PoliticsRe: How To Avoid Nigerian Trouble. by Excellent7(m): 11:19am On Feb 13, 2020
adonisgold:
One of the most prudent things you should do for yourself in Nigeria today is keeping out of trouble. One of the worst things that can happen to a person is to be sent to jail in Nigeria.

Jail in Nigeria is halfway house to hell. Maryam Sanda will probably never be executed, most Governor's do not sign the death warrant anymore. Orji Kalu Uzor will probably never serve full-time.

But still Nigerian prisons are like Nazi concentration camps. The food is calamitous, healthcare is none existent.

I have seen a prisoner holding his eye ball in his hand, it was still attached to his eye socket by a tendril. Someone used a spoon to scoop out his eye ball in a fight. The nurse was off duty. Nobody cared, he died.

I had a client once who was remanded in prison. He was HIV positive and did not tell me. Maybe that would have been further grounds for bail. He could not take his drugs and he relapsed. Before I could try to get him out it was too late, he died.

The food given to prisoners is not fit for human consumption, even animals should not be made to eat such rubbish. Meanwhile, huge sums of money has been budgeted for feeding prisoners.

Avoid trouble, infact, flee from trouble. Anything that will involve police charging you to court is trouble. If you can kill a matter in the police station, by all means do it. Stop shouting,

"I know my right!"

This is Nigeria. Your right and left can change anytime.

Police will definitely ask for big money, if you have it and you suspect your case is not very solid kill the matter there. Even if you think you have a good case, this is Nigeria.

If your lawyer is shouting,

"we will meet in court!" in Police station tell him to calm down.

It is your case, not his. The use of "we," is merely figurative. He will not stand in the accused box with you.

Remember, it is not what you know that matters in court, it is what you can prove. Besides, this is Nigeria. Ihedioha can testify.

I was attacked once by a pedestrian in Lagos. The car I was inside brushed him slightly. I was not the one driving. I just told him to be more careful.

That is how the guy attacked me. He threw 4 punches, I blocked two and dodged two.

I had the opportunity to counter punch but I did not. I am not Anthony Joshua. A police man eventually stopped him. I quickly removed myself from the scene.

I was happy enough I was not going home with a broken jaw, neither was I being charged for assault. Sometimes it is better to let some things go.

I do not mean that you should turn to everyone's foot mat, but if you are going to take up an issue, ensure you are blameless, or almost blameless.

Avoid wahala. If people are beating up a thief do not join, or even stand and watch, even if it is your property that was stolen.

If someone hits your car don't start fighting because of that.

Do not lend people money. It hardly ends well.

Do not surety people you don't absolutely trust.

Avoid too much night movement, and partying and clubbing.

Avoid people who cannot control their alcohol, they always start brawls.

Realize that a bad situation can always get worse, or better, depending on how you handle it.

Avoid people who talk too much.

Be wary with your speech. Do not talk about people behind their backs.

Always assume that someone is recording your speech and videoing your actions.

Even if someone comes with negative gossip about another person, do not say anything. If you talk, it is what you said that will somehow find its way to the person's ear.

Stop saying things like,

" Do you know who I am?"

"I no dey fear anybody!"

"My yes is my yes and my no is my no!"

Finally, remember to keep your anger and ego in check, the world does not revolve around you, it revolves around the sun .

This is quite unfortunate.
I have been following this corona virus epdimemic and have been following the response of other countries.
I was dissappointed at the motion in the house of representatives not to "extract nigerians" fom China.
Not my use of the word "extract" is intentional.
Nigeria is failing its citizens once again during a crisis situation.
If my memory is not failing me, I recall similar scenario for Nigerians in Liberia during the time of Samuel Doe when the Nigerian government under IBB vacillated on sending transport to evacuate Nigerians while other countries were helping their governments and Nigerians become targets of the rebels. I think the excuse was, they did not want to send the wrong signals, because they were ssupporting Samuel Doe or something like that.
Anyone that was old enough could corrobarrote or refute this historical narrative.
From these, it seems the lesson is; if you are Nigerian and outside its shores and "kasala burst" don't expect any contingency plans from the government, make your own contingency plans.
I wonder how the Nigerians in China felt seeing their compatroits with other passports being air-lifted from the crisis zone by the government of those countries'.
And I read where the minister of health was saying they are ready to contain the virus!
There was a publication a few days ago where 650 milion NGN was mentioned to be budgeted for this epidemic.
So what is the problem; lack of money, lack of will or apathy?
Are they trying to tell us Egypt and other african countries thatt airlifteed their citizens are better than Nigeria?
There is this kind of pride that comes from your country acting boldly on your behalf in times of crisis.
It is also a way of projecting power!

See eehn, I swear down, if i was your big bro or kid bro, i would have beaten the shit out of you and even if i can't, I'd definitely arrange boys for to treat your monkey ass .. I know you're about to get married hence, you're older than me definitely but sometimes, you need to be very extremely logical with life,in relation to people and the bizarre web of intricacies therein.

DON'T MARRY THAT BITCH (I'm not sorry to call her that) and there are tons of reasons for saying such.

Firstly, she's a very dangerous hypocrite. You had initiated a no-sex relationship with her. Guess what, immediately you did that, a sincere lady would have voiced out her resentment on such a stance but, she kept cool, meaning she had found a FOOL.

Secondly, she broke up with you just to get an independent sexual exploitation with her would-be baby daddy(unfortunately for her, he denied the ownership), knowing fully well that you may eventually get wind of her sexcapades.

Thirdly, it's all about psychological warfare against you, the foolish would-be husband. she knows that you're a wannade "serious and disciplined man" thus, her so-called "confession" before marriage. She knows you cherish "truth" and "fairness" hence, her little mind tricks with you, knowing that if she opens up her so-called "confessions" to you, you'd eventually admire her new truthful stance and repentance.

Fourthly, she doesn't love you one bit. She broke up with you for no reason and instantly went into another relationship. She was even audacious enough to engage in a no-protection sexcapades.

Now, my opinion :

The other cool dude she went into a relationship with after the break-up with you, is actually her lover. Here's the trick ; if the other guy had accepted the pregnancy, she would have glady been his baby mama. Unfortunately, the dude refused such ploys employed by her to tie him down and they broke up . Now, she's out in the cold and, here come the STUPID knight in shining armor(you) to her rescue.

Secondly, she most have been promiscuous even for the level of the other dude that he couldn't even trust the pregnancy if it was his or his other friends, who she might have been digging to his knowledge hence, she had to bow out of the relationship and abort the pregnancy in shame.

Thirdly, she's done with whoring and sees the negative part of it. She sees you as a naive "serious man", who doesn't know what goes on "inside life". She knows you're getting closer to getting married due to your over serious nature hence, her ploy to mentally impress you with APC's sort of CHANGE. She just wants to come and drop herself as a baggage on your life. Again, she knows the best way to eventually get you into her traps, is to come out "very clean", so that you, the DIMWIT would-be husband would start viewing her like the "virgin Mary".

Finally, your consequences :

If and when you stupidly wife the LovePeddler, she'd go back to her whoring ways in no time.
Don't be surprised that she'd even go back to that guy and his friends that initially bleeped her RAW and IMPREGNATED her, which led to the ABORTION.

You would eventually get multiple Sexually Transmitted Diseases, even HIV/AIDS, no thanks to her adulterous lifestyle.

You'd always be very judgmental about her. You'd never believe her.. You'd always doubt whatever she says till death takes on of you away..

Your children may eventually turn out to be bastards.. Snows and Sands like the Game of Thrones..

Never make a LovePeddler a housewife *TuPac Amaru Shakur

Going by what you narrated here, she ended the relationship at first( even though you didn't tell us the reason). Then you initiated the reconciliation. During the time you were apart, she moved on. Apparently you didn't. I know you know the truth but you have decided to live in denial. But I will tell you. She actually got pregnant to hook down the other guy, only for her to be disappointed. Out of shame, embarrassment, resentment and hatred, she aborted the pregnancy. Then you like a saviour, came back only to ask her hand in marriage. The truth is she has never been into you 100 percent. You her just her plan B if not C. I don't really understand why people are incapable of moving on and never look back. There are millions of ladies out there that can make you love drunk than what you are feeling now. I can forgive all things but definitely not infidelity, let alone one that led to abortion. The ball is your court. Its your call. You will be the one living with her.

PoliticsRe: Pius Adesanmi Classics - Plato’s Allegory Of The Cave by Excellent7(m): 10:44am On Mar 12, 2019
Obinna156:
I have read a countless number of his articles, but this article "Plato’s Allegory of the Cave" left an indelible impression on me. Below are the excerpts

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, what exactly is this allegory of the cave? It is the most famous segment of Plato’s most famous book, The Republic. I will only offer an elementary sketch of it here for our purposes. I will omit details that are not central to our didactic purposes for Fatherland.

Plato imagines a group of prisoners chained to a wall inside a deep, dark cave. They have been chained to this wall their entire lives. Chains and darkness – that is the sum total of their experience. The only reality they know. They have been in the cave and in chains since birth. Behind them is a fire and before them is a raised walkway. Outside, people pass by the mouth of the cave, carrying things on their head. The prisoners can only see shadows of that reality. The shadows they see also become part of their reality of darkness and chains.

Eventually, one of the prisoners escapes and goes outside of the cave. He is absolutely shocked to discover the world outside of the cave. He cannot believe his eyes. So, he has been living in ignorance his whole life? So, all the things that he and his fellow cave dwellers believed and thought about the world was wrong? So there is even a sun? And there are trees and animals? And there is civilization? And there are ways, much better ways of doing things ‘outside there’ than the only reality that he and his fellow cave dwellers have ever known?

His discovery of the sun is the most significant. Think of everything that Plato dumps into that metaphor of the sun. This man is coming from a cave where nobody has ever been aware of the existence of the sun – of light!

This painful discovery of the world beyond the limitations of his entire life leads to resolve: he will go back “home” to the cave and take the truth he has seen and discovered to his people.

When he gets back to the cave and informs the other prisoners of his discoveries, letting them know that there are other possibilities to life, other realities outside of chains and darkness, when he tells them stories of reality and tells them that all they have believed their entire lives is false because it has been limited by their chains and life inside the cave, they do not believe him.

They abuse him. They call him names. They threaten to kill him if he attempts to set them free. They accuse him of insulting their world. They tell him they like it just like that. Did they complain to him? What is all this talk about a better life and a much better way of life he has seen elsewhere. It is not his fault. Shebi they are the ones even listening to him after he has betrayed them by going out.

Plato surmises that the cave dwellers will try to kill anyone who tries to free them from their ignorance.

What Plato’s allegory teaches us is that there is no alternative to education and enlightenment. He who acquires education and enlightenment is also a danger to the body politic of ignorance.

f ignorance is the only world somebody knows, you have no right to try to bring light into that world and expect not to be insulted, abused, scorned, and excoriated. There is a reason that the said ignorance is framed as a world in Plato’s allegory. It means you are saying that the only world that Plato’s cave dwellers have ever known is false, wrong, etc. You are “insulting” their world.

That is why you must have the patience to bear the insults and the force of conviction to persuade with the empirical and superior evidence of the superior worlds and truths you have seen.

Plato’s says the cave dwellers will attempt to kill anyone who tries to free them.

Plato says education is the only superior force that can free them.

If you are privileged to be a medium of public education and enlightenment, fate and destiny have chosen you for a solemn duty to your fatherland. You have lost the right to such statements as:

I’ve given up.

They rain insults on me any time I write to enlighten them.

They are in love with their chains.

It is Stockholm syndrome.

This is precisely the sort of fatalism that those who turned your Fatherland to a cave and stole money to buy the chains to imprison the people want to achieve in you. If they cannot buy your voice and your conscience, they know that they cannot allow the risk of your enlightenment to radiate through the land and connect with the people. The next best option for them is to get you to the point of existential fatalism where you give up. Once you give up because of the daily insults you get from their victims, you clear a conceptual space for them to store up dollars in every apartment in Ikoyi and Victoria Island.

Over the years, Plato’s allegory of the cave has also lost geographic relevance for me in terms of the physical distinction between in and out, home and diaspora. It has come to represent for me the chains and prison of the mind and the escape from it.

Gani Fawehinmi is also Plato’s escapee but he never left the cave physically. He just left the cave of the mind. Tai Solarin, Bala Usman, Eskor Toyo, Chima Ubani, etc, never left the cave physically but they left the cave of the mind and tried to bring the sun back into it. Oby Ezekwesili, Ayo Obe, Ayisha Osori, Joe-Okei Odumakin have never left physically but they left the cave of the mind.

I am saying in essence that being physically outside is not a precondition for gaining the elevated consciousness and enlightenment acquired by Plato’s allegorical character just as being physically inside is not a basis of exclusion from that consciousness.

Whether you are inside or outside, the acquisition of that consciousness in the context of the Nigerian tragedy is a privilege that should be deployed in the service of the people without question.

It is important to remember that those insulting you are not the enemy.

Our only enemies are the owners of the cave and the financiers of the chains.

We must remain committed to their total destruction.

Rest in Peace Prof

Exactly. And as it's stands our reseve cannot foot transmission cost for 24/7 power. The only option is to make the masses pay higher bills. Everywhere in the world that has constant power the bill's are at least 40-50k per month in naira
Liar!!!
I pray tell me the countries you have been to or lived in and paid such household monthly bills a month for constant power?

@OP, congratulations on your realization.

Beware of scammers and "agents"!

Carefully plan your steps armed with correct information. Have it in your mind that relocation is seldom easy, even within same country. Mentally prepare plausible worst case scenarios and have plans for such. I wish you success.

I will advice you to carefully shortlist your host countries and set a tentative time frame to achieving your goal.
Since you have an engineering degree, depending on your age bracket and aptitude for further studies you might wish to consider coming as a post-grad student. There are even scholarships

This approach helps you adapt to your host country and gives you some time to settle into the workforce in many countries.
You might find it necessary to take steps to defend your "war chest" against sudden and crazy government policies or in-actions by maintaining a substantial part of your funds in more stable foreign currencies" In explicit terms open a domiciliary account.

You better run for your life. Back then, I once met a girl with such a condition. Honestly she wasn't bad though, and she was just my perfect specs, very tall, caramel black, curvy, slender and pretty. She was like we must marry in 6 months, or else she will leave. But my intuition just wasn't comfortable, and I had this suspicious inner feeling about the whole get married quick thing. I just felt it was too soon, felt like she was hiding something, so I was like let us get to know ourselves proper proper, beyond the skin, deeper than the bone first and if we click at that level, then yes, we can marry. But she was like, I know you're perfect for me, no need. Let's just get on with it. After the pressure became too much, me I ran away oh grin. Later she got married to another guy, later she is single again shocked. Hmm, thank God I escaped. Because, maybe the same thing would have happened to me. lipsrsealed
Sensible guy!

Lol...MannieA!! U and ur subtle jabs!!!
U seem to get me twisted as some daredevil fvckaroo Casanova! I'm not,I promise u!!

How do I describe myself: I'm real and raw to the core,no pretenses with me! I also understand women to the core too...their emotions, needs, wants, mindset and game!!! Some women don't want love, they need SEX or companionship or attention,it doesn't matter if she is SU,once she is starved of that, she gets it somewhere else, except she has strong self control. So I don't blame women who express themselves, after all, they are humans!!! I just don't like married women behaving as such,so ion do that shiit!! So if u think fvcking a girl with a LDR is wrong, that's on u!! I never forced any babe! I know as humans, they have the right to express themselves. I'm not hypocritical too,so if I have a gf who does the same to me,I'll totally understand!!!

To ur questions, A man or lemme say a real man is not defined by fvcking and sleeping around. he is defined by his decisions to stay true to himself without being manipulated otherwise,to his goals, his dreams and his needs!! A real man loves a real woman but keeps his virility and manliness intact,he scolds her as needed, loves and cherishes her as needed, takes care of her according to his means and makes her happy, while retaining his essence as an Alpha male!!! He knows his duties, carries them out and expect his woman to do hers as well. He is the head of the home but knows he can't do it all and his woman will be his bestest fan/supporter/helper till he dies and treats her accordingly! A real man doesn't see beating a woman as fun but never hesitates to correct her wrongdoings!!!

Oh there is so much more I can tell you about men!! We are not the beasts u count us to be!! We are loving, caring and sacrificial when the cause is right, unconcerned and cold when its not!! We are capable of loving women but stops at being sissified by them! When we fvck around(like u point out),its not cuz we hate u,we don't(i dont count revenge sexists as real men),but since women are so many, lines are bound to be crossed in many places! Do you know how many women would have committed suicide without a man's touch? We are the joys of your lives!!!!
That's quite deep!

Your baby mama took advantage of you so first thing first, she's out of the equation.

Esther did what any lady would do, but her feelings made her return to you. That's strong enough to keep her forever.

The new girl is yet to experience conditions which will require her to forgive you anything, so her nature is hiding behind "not Bleep up no problems". In short you are yet to know what her other side looks like.

The real deal now is to measure the quality of Esther with the new girl to know if she's really what you want in place of Esther, ladies have a way of hiding their real self until they have what they want. No saying the new lady could be pretending to accept your kid, but she may have other intentions, Afterall it took you a while to convince her. Am sure at the back of her mind, there is a 50-50% chance of her staying or going, while for Esther there is 90% chance of her staying, even 95%.

In the situation you put yourself, what you need is someone who loves you more than you love her, only that person can choose to overlook this flaws and mess you've created. You know who all the arrows point to, choose wisely.

May God be with you bro.
