unfortunately all the clubs in lagos rely on these criminals --there absence would probably bring sanity to the whole entertainment industry.. cant forget the sight of a guy fighting in a club because the owner would not allow him buy a bottle of whiskey on credit..lol |
the reason why these senators feel confident is because Nigerians did not react aggressively towards them when it was discovered that they were milking the country dry ---13m naira running cost. if these senators were in another country they would probably be lynched by now. I personally don't care much for the police but am enjoying this show of bravado --I recommend that the IG should redraw all the mopos attached to these useless slimballs. The last time I saw one of these useless senators he had about 15 fully armed mopo guys surrounding him. |
the senate had the opportunity to interact with the DIP that was sent -they could have politely relayed their displeasure to his boss but instead decided to display their ignorance in the public domain. let's not forget that democracy is not about institutions --it is about the people -can we truly say that these people represent a democratic country the same senate that refuses to disclose their salaries and remunerations, the same senate that blatantly refused to obey court orders. I think saraki are co are playing with fire here ---they cannot insult the same policemen who are protecting them and their families -just imagine if the IGP redraws all the mopos assigned to these fools.... The IGP sent his deputy to represent him --that should be enough. |
is it not the same police that is protecting these useless senators --now that the police is doing their job (without favor),they have now become tribesmen and barbarians --lol anytime I hear these criminal senators talk about the rule of law i feel like laughing -when have they followed the rule of law. |
This is where the 13++++ million naira running cost goes. We are truly bleeped |
so what would our dear senators do if the IGP ignores their summon --ask SARS to arrest him.. actually the IGP should recall all the Policemen protecting these foolish senators... |
people wonder why we are not making progress ---just take a look at this clown - a lawmaker breaking the law and also disrespecting the same law apparatus he swore to protect. when will his recall finish |
to be honest this is what I expected from the youth -to storm and beat the living daylights out of those thieving senators, but all is not lost (there is no honor among thieves) so one of their own would do the work. |
under david mark they were getting about 150bn a year ---45m quarterly allowances for doing nothing |
saraki is scared shit of Buhari --but no matter what he does he would soon be given the ekweremadu treatment. He can't disband a group that is not under the auspices of the senate -actually he cannot stop them from doing what they want. they might keep quiet but discerning minds know when to strike -the military is 100% behind Buhari and saraki knows that. Nigeria is a broke country,no employment because there are no companies -and there is no more free money (loophole have been blocked -and the rich now have to pay tax) so those complaining should wake up |
I can't see how this can be a good thing -difference of opinion can only strengthen a democracy. We do not want a senate of 'yes men' who have been cowed by saraki (the thief from kwara --looter of societe general bank) Buhari is still a million times better than that sad joke of a buffon (drunkard) from bayelsa but 'mesay' there should a referendum so we can finally get rid of those lawmakers once and for all. |
running costs--let me guess they have offices in newyork manhattan...lol.. damn..what a bunch of criminals schools bad, roads bad, hospitals bad,no employment --yet they earn more that a US Senator. saraki and his crooks would soon start probing!!! |
Pat definitely got this one right--we just can't get it right, |
Abidx22:respect who...that drunkard fool who cleaned out our treasury, are you kidding me...in civilized chimes he would be behind bars..just like ibori, igbinedion, odilli ---his ilk have set us back, but not to worry lagos would always welcome their women folk.... for a man that have money rolling into our coffers like no other, he has absolutely nothing to show for it...he empowered our rotten national assembly to the extent that they are now the highest paid senators in the world (yet they can't even perform honorably) he was probably too drunk when this happened:: Patience Jonathan Blew $41, 438 Shopping In One Day After Receiving $11.4m In One Bank Account From 31 Suspects. |
someone needs to remind this fool (jonathan) about the damage he caused this country. If his wife stole billions I wonder how much this baboon for bayelsa state stole. no nation becomes great without going through pain....this is our time to make some progress, |
IdeyFindWife:do we really have a choice -the youth is the future of this country, somehow they would get their act together once they find out that no other country wants them (the deportations have already started) The only reason these thieving politicians think they are gods is because of 'our' docile youths --it is our responsibility to educate them. |
It’s just that the body responsible for setting their salaries and allowances is terribly inept But at least sanusi has spoken and don’t forget he said the same thing years ago then he was invited to the National Assembly to defend his statement We all should protest this anomaly - our bishops should have taken this up also but they kept quiet Imagine a Nigerian senator earning more than the US president. |
nigerians are claiming asylum everywhere -canada is the base for our directors and bank managers.. https://www.thecable.ng/nigerian-asylum-claims-based-sexual-orientation-raise-red-flags-canada http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/nigerian-migrants-plattsburgh-1.4307257 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXe2GGqNG64 |
The EFCC is proposing to spend N21.2bn in 2018, up from the N17.2bn it budgeted in 2017. Magu explained that the “27 per cent” increase was to cover a raise in personnel expenditure from N7.1bn in 2017 to N11bn in 2018. He also complained that prosecution of cases was taking a large chunk of the agency’s budget, with as many as 189 convictions secured in 2017. ------------- kudos for the hardwork ..no wonder our overfed (150bn) senators and reps cant stand magu, |
Nigeria Customs generates N1 trillion in 2017, highest ever https://www.channelstv.com/2017/12/21/nigeria-customs-generates-historic-revenue-figure-of-n1trn/ you got to respect progress.... I wonder how much dino and his crew are draining from this country |
atiku will transform nigeria to niger.. kai |
good news. just imagine what pdp and atiku would do with this money...steal steal steal... nigerians want miracles ---most of her youth are too busy worshipping their afrobeat mobsters... no nation was built on lazy bones or empty brains. |
you have to wonder why they are actually going there --is it cheaper or do they have ulterior motives --like a gateway to malaysia. http://www.philstar.com/nation/2017/03/16/1681719/Philippines-lags-asian-university-rankings Nigerians are common in their marine transportation colleges in the Philippines but it is also a known fact that many of these kids end up in malaysia committing crimes. I have been to manila and some of the other major cities in the Philippines --they do have great beaches ,but this is a third world country with poor infrastructure and a poor standard of living. Instead of fighting at the Philippine embassy ,they would be well served if they could show such anger at the national assembly and insist of a better deal for the Nigerian student. |
the man would have his day in court.....just like everyone else |
These properties were not supposed to be sold. That was stated in the government gazette It’s a good thing Jonathan was a drunkard incompetent fool — he even forgot to create his own gazette. Lol David mark’s National Assembly budget was about 150bn/year, no one knows how he spent that money. So it’s about time he was brought to account for all that money. Only in Nigeria would crooks be in charge of running the affairs of a country They need to forcefully evict those clowns with SARS. |
so people are now believing what those useless senacrooks are saying.....I rather believe Fashola than those useless crooks masquerading as senacrooks..lazy bunch of buffoons. reading comments here just illustrates why the senators feels so emboldened.. |
has anyone actually watched Ross Kemp's videos on this topic...tragic ,thousands rescued from a dingy boat -one woman had her two kids on that boat --which was doomed to capsize. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Ik6VIB0gMU many from edo state --when igbinedion (in the mold of ibori) was raping that state live we all kept quiet..until people standup to these politicians and crooks this journey to hell will never stop. Those same people that came back would be back in the desert trying their luck again. |
Reading through this thread explains carefully why Nigeria is and would always remain a 6th world country. it takes me only 1 month to save $2k dollars and that is a fact. Now, the average American (at least the guys I work with),invest their money in their 401k,house,kids college education, summer vacations and some even invest in further education. I know one guy who has just completed an MBA program from one of the best business schools here in PA --how much did it cost him -a cool 85k. my mortgage is 2200 dollars a MONTH, and I had two vacations this year -one to Thailand and one back to Lagos -where I stayed in 3 Marriott hotels-still got 3 kids lol , and nagging nurse as a wife. Why do you think the smartest Chinese and Indians guys dream to work in the US --seeking the H1B visa desperately. One guy was talking about 250k naria as being enough for a decent 2 bedroom apartment in lagos. hahahahahahaha In aguda where I have a house -that would only get you a room a parlor. In my mothers place near isolo 250k would surely get you 2 bedroom flat. Please don't go near bode thomas, adniran ogunsanya, ikeja, ajah --not to talk of lekki .. The bottomline is that the American society is very advanced, they really do not need illiterates from Africa who are governed by a bunch of thieving national assembly members. I really do not care how much a bank manager in Nigeria earns -he is probably stealing more than he is earning. And if anyone needs a bungalow to rent , I have one in badore going for a 1m NAIRA |
https://explorepartsunknown.com/destination/lagos/ Bourdain’s Field Notes This will be a very short entry this week, for reasons that are entirely too apparent. Which is unfortunate, because our episode in Lagos, Nigeria, is one of the true highlights of the season and a piece of work I’m very proud of. Nigeria is a difficult place to shoot and an even more difficult place to live (unless you are among the tiny minority of super-rich). But it is also an incredibly inspiring place, with perhaps the hardest-working, most enterprising, most optimistic population I’ve ever encountered. The food and the music are a reflection of that vitality and strength. This episode was our first to be shot largely on 16 millimeter film. It has a unique look and sound and an editing style that brings the show, in my opinion, to another level. |
MaziOmenuko:the NA is full of her ilk --most of them have cases to answer .They now want to intimidate Magu on her behalf...lol..let's enjoy their stupidity. In a sane society she would have to prove how she earned the money --including showing the taxes she has paid, but unfortunately she is either dim witted or being advised wrongly, because she seems to think she can do what she likes --or rather she believes is an untouchable. Well after her stupid husband had wasted a ton of money on absolutely nothing (the fool could not even fix the roads in his own state ),it is only fair that the new government get some of that money back. as for the current youth --both male and female --no hope -chasing fake hair, or yahoo yahoo gangsters. I just can't understand how anyone with any sense of decorum would defend this stupid woman. |
A curious question,my nephew is studying management and I was just wandering if any of these south African companies offered management trainee positions. This is the norm in the UK where young graduates are offered positions as management trainees. thanks |
