why can't these old men go to plateau and fight the killers --at least they should all have about 20 mopol guys as body guards. |
amazing news...this is what is called team work .. |
lawnreigh:Hope you over looked beach road. 5555 Yes, the sights and sounds of walking street are on a different level. But I only go for a drink in ibar But to the topic at hand, it’s just amazing how the international community rendered their support and it goes to show how Thailand is perceived around the world - millions visit Thailand every year as tourists. We can learn a thing or two about how to attract tourists to our country. |
I think shehu sani should first save his ass in his own state --is'nt rufai trying to maul him alive.... now he is giving the presidency orders.... |
excellent news..I have been to Thailand a couple of times..was there this march and had great fun in bangkok and pattaya -just great lovely people.... |
india is currently the rape capital of the world.....but no one has the right to take another person's life. |
DIYhackers:the company definitely needs an office -the app is a tool that would bring clients and service providers together -that has to be co-ordinated. There has to be a support group who would deal with sundries issues, like ensuring that the service providers signed up can actually do the jobs they claim to do. If the SP has an office then someone has to go visit that place and update the profiles on their apps. there would also be group of developers who would be continuously updating the app with new features, support guys who would be available to help people understand how the app works. what about payments --how would that be managed, what about marketing, advertisement -these bring a huge chunk of money for these app developers -take a look at instagram and you would see the number of companies advertising on their platform. I believe if Jim and his team put in the hard work they would benefit immensely -but if it's just another of his showcases then it would go the way of other ventures. |
Just like Sani, Ben Bruce all these senators would never stop talking in tongues — what he should tell is what they are all stealing. We know there is no honor among thieves. This guy just needs to be more explicit. If anyone thinks Saraki cares about this country then that person needs to visit Igbobi. The only think Saraki cares about is his own personal ambition. People just need to deal with scum like that. |
With the right publicity, support staff and service providers I can see this app doing quite well. I haven’t downloaded it yet but I truly recognized the importance of such a product. Think about a batchelor needing someone to get some chores done —laundry, cooking, cleaning the house. Instead of him begging his peers or family members for contacts or help, he can just browse through the available service providers through the app. I guess the problem would be how would they get enough quality SP to sign up —aka Uber style - the more SPs the more options available. So Jim and his team need to shelve their designer wears and get some work cloths on and go sign up some SP - |
so who would fund these state and local police forces ---he who plays the piper dictates the tune..is this country matured enough to have an independent state police force. I see this as a populist agenda from the senate ---the crooks are looking for favor. in spite of the short comings of the current set-up it's still better than a state force that could inadvertently be turned into a local militant group. |
Congrats to the guy and his family - it’s not easy getting a first class degree in an department not to talk of computer science - he would have worked extremely hard for that (I can see some guys are already jealous of his achievement) A country like China that has an amazing negative view of blacks - they probably think we don’t have brains let alone the knowledge to beat them in any subject matter - so this guys achievement is great for black people and Nigeria especially. I remember my visit to Shanghai and the security guards at my company’s office actively strange. They probably thought I was training to be a toilet cleaner. We should learn to appreciate our brothers and sisters achievements especially when it shows us in a good light. |
This was the same man who was fighting in the house of reps in the front of school children. How he ever returned as a senator is beyond me. Now as a senator — collecting a minimum of 13m Naira a month in a country that has been judged to have the highest number of people living in poverty - he has been a total disgrace but he is good company - our lawmakers are nothing but a bunch of lawbreakers headed by the rogue Saraki But for how long He is accusing the government of being a failure but he won’t let them pass a budget in peace. Key projects are bastardized in the name of ‘second opinion’ We truly shouldn’t tolerate this crap anymore. |
Some of the problems with freelancing is that you would have to plan for your retirement — pension plans and health care. Most companies make contribution to pension plans and health care. So one should carefully evaluate those before jumping into freelancing. |
there goes the running cost....mr senator. naija schools are not good enough for their kids..no wonder the pad the budget |
the Americans are trying to protect their industries and jobs --this is what china is trying to destroy. Nigerians on the other hand ,need to start making their own stuff --but with a government that wastes money on stupid things like running cost -I don't see the country investing in home grown technology. |
bangkok hilton awaits them --death penalty by shooting at the back of the head. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vu9X6mPqR8 |
we are definitely our own worse enemies... |
I think saraki should have his day in court --no matter what the police charge him with, because there is no doubt that he would be charged with conspiracy. some people would have sympathy for him ,say, there is a witch hunt against him,etc (off course he was benevolent to a lot of people -even though he used our money ) -stealing from peter to satisfy paul. my take is simple -if you have an association with criminal elements be prepared for anything. The Nigerian national assembly have zero interest in the well being of the Nigerian people, there is no bill that addresses the youth unemployment, infrastructural deficit, poverty level etc in this country, all they do is make bills to make themselves stupendously rich at the expense of the common man. when the national assembly was asked to publish their salaries they refused, now we know why -the money is soo much that they even sponsor criminals. |

PaChukwudi44:We had a man with a PHD, but what did we get in return - massive looting (even his wife and gf had a field day) The point here is education is good, but it hasn’t done that much good in Nigeria - people are complaining that there are no jobs, but no one screaming at Saraki to stop taking 150bn from the country’s budget. It’s really sad to see people supporting this man because he certainly doesn’t give a hoot about this country - I don’t blame his slaves from Kwara Supporting him ,their bondage has been going on For a very long time. The shackles of slavery would take a long time to come off. |
for once we are seeing some progress, imagine the times of that fool jonathan -would anyone dare invite saraki to answer questions in the police HQ. we seem to have short memories -wasn't it this same saraki clan that destroyed a whole bank and consequently destroyed the lives of many people , http://saharareporters.com/2008/07/06/how-saraki-others-looted-societe-generale-bank-nigeria-%E2%80%A2-over-n1b-looted this is the same saraki that pockets at least 50M every month while the people of this country live in penury...it's about time these criminals are dealt with, and who best to do that than their own people ---there is no honor among thieves |
this is a serious allegations--now let's see if he will honor the invitation -or wait for the maleye treatment. |
If you go to the US and study a for a masters in a STEM degree you ‘can’ work in the US for about 3yrs - that is called OPT, this is the current state of affairs but Trump has some plans for that- he might remove the 2yr extension. As per doing a business in naija - that takes a huge effort and thorough planning. You can get some land a go into farming — or post processing -just remember that there are no guarantees. I am not sure how it works in Canada - but i know due to visa issues there is a huge swift of immigration from the states to Canada — means a lot more people are considering Canada as a prime destination. Don’t forget money is saved is best spent judiciously |
calling this clown a clown is probably showing him too much respect --hahaha many of his colleagues have been in that NASS for more than 10yrs --collecting good pay but doing absolutely nothing -think about it, if you had a regular job, and you only showed up 3 days a week --slept most of the time, made no serious contribution to the smooth operation of the business do you really expect to get paid. No , not in any serious or civilized environment where head count has to be justified ---where accountability has been ingrained in the fabric of the institution --but sadly in Nigeria we are still struggling to come to terms with the word productivity. one day we would have NASS members who have only one passion ----the advancement of their one and only country. |
the step is to reduce the NA budget to 40bn... these guys are learning from Trump..publicity publicity publicity |
At least it’s good to see them celebrat something positive. Not all companies can afford a huge number of developers for their sites, but the best websites that offer great content are always in high demand. Walmart paid billions for their main website so they could compete with amazon — result- increased sales mainly due to online sales. But we have to understand that Walmart makes about 500bn sales every year. |
This foolish ex president - the first real educated man from the south south but yet — he managed to achieve zero inspire or massive oil revenue Money for arms was turned into party money Oil minister cleaned house and Became a dollar Millionaire Even his illiterate wife (sorry unimport) became a billionaire His south south region — highly underdeveloped |
i guess when next he has to appear in court he would be carried like am emperor..baba ole... let him distribute his 13m naira to the poor and needy in his hometown.. what a clown.. this is what people like him call democracy --it is now he is seeing the real meaning -no one is above the law |
and saraki just increased his NA budget to 139bn...lol.. this guy can fool people where is his empathy to the masses.. I beg IG deal with this crook..he is already shaking in his pants.. |
for all his 8yrs he can confidently boast of 'helping' create one thing-- oh,least we forget he also made a lot of money for himself --created his own university instead of 'helping' the state universities. this is a man that is scared of going to the united states |
It’s amazing that nobody seems capable of curtailing the excessses of this senate —every time they challenge a judgement they are spending the people’s money If this senate truly represents the masses they won’t attempt to deny them representation nor would they be wasting money. Imo- Agege has the right to be in the senate only his constituents can take that away - not a criminal like Saraki who should be in jail |
this senate president is trying to be too clever --can he at least tell us what his senate has done to stem the tide of these killings.. how many mopos are protecting him and his family how much is he pocketing as running costs and blah blah how many times has he or his colleges visited any of the bereaved -or commiserated with any of those who have lost loved ones. least we forget, didnt people loose money (and some their lives) when his bank closed down. no one is saying the IG is perfect but lets call a spade a spade -saraki and his bunch of criminals are equally to blame for the security situation in nigeria at the moment. |
