I deduced, from the story that he just told, that the Akwa Ibom girl was obviously sleeping with the two men. You did not mention the name of the affected gallery app. However, I don't think the app caused your pictures to disappear, unless it is one of those apps which back up user's image files to the cloud, in which case you'd be required to simply reinstall the same app, then log into your account to have your pictures synchronized back into the phone. If the pictures are located elsewhere in the phone, you can still use the File Manager app in your phone to locate them. Another thing is that if your Google account has been active on your phone, you can recover all the missing pictures through Google Photos app in the phone.
