How do you guys over there manage to even get internet access? rejoice4eva: |
True, Nigeria has fine girls but Russia has got far more beautiful girls. Every Anna, Yulia, Natalia and Natasha in Russia is a fine girl. justtoodark: |
I understand your plight, man. Russia has the finest girls on Mother Planet and it's not an overstatement. I have had a similar experience in the past but I got over it. Find the things that give you pleasure currently and focus on them. It's okay to reminisce about the sweet memories but you cannot really make progress if you just keep focusing on the past. Sometimes you need to let go of Yulia to find a Natasha. JackDaAlienz: |
I agree with you 210%. AngelicDamsel: |
How can he hear when he's deaf in the ears? |
Can I tell you something? The white people ain't fools. They know the profile of every single country and ethnicity in Africa. If you doubt me check CIA Factbook and their so-called Travel Advisory. The British and the Americans know the areas and sections of Nigeria that pose a threat and so they advise their citizens accordingly. Is it surprising that in spite of escalated tension in parts of Eastern and Western sections of Nigeria in recent time owing to activities of the Unknown Gunmen and the herdsmen in both regions respectively, the Americans and the British ain't classifying these areas as, quote, unsafe? I am an Igbo man who had not taken this agitation for Biafra seriously at first (not that I do not believe in Biafra. I only hated the method). But some things have kept occuring that changed my perception of Nigeria permanently. Those of us in the diaspora indeed hold a deep patriotism for Nigeria. The feeling of patriotism for Fatherland is especially increased after one left his country behind to live in another country. But since Buhari took office and started to implement his hateful and divisive agenda for the nation, my support for Biafra increased a thousand fold. The Americans here are fully aware of the Nigerian situation and you can hear them voicing it out in conversation. "How the hell did you guys in that Christian South manage to allow the Muslims to rule in Nigeria?" is what a white chap blurted out during a conversation. |
You can take the horse to river but you cannot force it to drink the water. This is the case for Ebubeagu. The South-East governors created this security agency but getting the people to sign up for it is the problem. For the Igbos, it would be viewed as a betrayal of cause for any Igbo youth enlisting as member of Ebubeagu, especially in the light of prevailing circumstances in that region, without fearing for the possible repercussions. |

You must be dull in the brain or downright cynical. The same Cameroon that you are making fun of the Igbos with is also, ironically, where thousands of Borno residents and other North-Easterners have also fled to for refuge in recent years. I don't think you'd also call that cowardice on the part of the North-Easterners. Nor would you, likewise, describe as cowards the thousands of Yoruba men and women who hastily fled to Benin Republic in recent time and stayed there because of violence unleashed against them even on their ancestral homelands by a handful of herdsmen? Go and buy Nokia, Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi or Oppo. Forget Tecno and Infinix. Silentgroper: |
These are purely AI tests that are meant to challenge your brain and see how you would respond to critical challenging issues that would require more than just academic intellect to handle. There's usually no Yes or No answer to these kind of questions. You just let your brain solve the puzzle. Interestingly, these are also the type of examinations that intelligence organizations give to people newly recruited into espionage, especially for those in field operations. Though theirs are usually in the form of practical or demonstrative tests, not necessarily written tests. And one is expected to pass such tests before they're even considered eligible for enlistment as field agent. I was reading the other day of how Mossad of Israel recruits its operatives. In one such practical examination a Mossad candidate for recruitment was ordered to approach a team of six heavily armed soldiers stationed at a military base and to, without risking his own life in the process or attracting attention to his mission, abduct one of the soldiers and deliver him safely to a Mossad safe house. Carrying out this mission successfully means that the candidate passed the test and therefore would be recruited as a Mossad officer. Failing on the mission, on the other hand, means automatic disqualification. This was a particularly dangerous mission, one that could have led to him being killed by the team of apparently well trained special forces soldiers. But he indeed succeeded and had the target abducted and brought safely to his handlers at the Mossad house. It turned out the soldier being abducted was in fact a member of the Mossad recruitment team and knew of the mission all along. But the young Mossad trainee did not know this. I was left in awe reading how he had plotted the very delicate but intelligent moves that helped him succeed on the mission. |
A military institution dominated by people from a particular ethnicity or section of the country cannot be truly called "Nigerian Army." What we have in Nigeria is in fact Northern Nigerian Army. |
Superstition. What about others who slept with married women/men but are doing just fine in their careers and businesses? The rich politicians, for instance. |
They are the real terrorists, Miyetti Allah. PaChukwudi44: |
I am ashamed of you Igbos and Yorubas (fellow southerners) insulting each other over every comment. I am an Igbo man but I don't see the Yoruba as my enemy. The greatest enemy and threat to Igbos, and Southerners in general, are the Hausa-Fulani, and not the Yoruba. Enough of these bitter recriminations. And I'm appealing directly to my fellow Igbo people on this forum. Yorubas ain't our problems. If you feel you can't trust the Yorubaman, that's okay. But do not attack him. The same appeal goes also to Yorubas. The Igbo people are not your problems. Let's unite, please, and confront our common enemy. |

Francis or Frances? Women do not bear Francis as name. |
She ain't asking a dime from you but she's definitely got something else she's getting from you that's got her unwilling to detach from you. If you can identify what it is, you will have hit the very source of the dilemma facing you about this girl. |
Am I reading Zikoko or someone else's handwriting? |
You've just paid the bride price in advance, man. |
Just a few hours ago. The truth is that due to the unpredictable nature of weather situations in most parts of the Western Hemisphere, people actually take weather predictions seriously. This is not especially the case in Africa and Asia, except perhaps in Japan or China. I hardly bothered checking the weather app in my phone while in Nigeria. But today, here, it's become almost like a daily ritual for me checking weather readings on my phone now and again, especially in the winter. |
Damn! Babe, that's some funny skit you showed there. I just downloaded to watch offline. Wittyglam: |
Isn't that why the unemployment rate is lower over here than in Africa? Just kidding. Hahaha. Lovethaa: |
No need for a disclaimer because the facts are as clear as daylight: The Nigerian Army is indeed dominated by northerners and all important military formations/establishments/installations also firmly concentrated in the North. |
The so-called paramilitary group which the man in the story works for may just be a cover for a clandestine cartel harvesting and selling human organs. Or may be not. What do I know? |
People should learn to keep their issues to themselves and stop bothering us with their private matters. |
Because Yorubas don't dominate in soccer as you would want us to believe they do in UFC. The Igbos have had a near dominant appearance in the national football team, film industry, commerce and also in music, but when have you heard anyone boasting about that. compton11: |
I hope you can say the same of Super Eagles and Flying Eagles national football teams. Stop being tribalistic. compton11: |
Either she's seeing someone behind your back or you don't seem to be getting the message that she's trying to pass across to you. Six years is a long time to keep a lady waiting. You mentioned that "next year should be the year" but have you made this absolutely obvious to her and started making visible preparations towards marriage? She might be thinking that you are taken her for granted and perhaps not intending to settle down. My advice to you is that if you're truly intending to walk her down the aisle soon, then start drawing up the wedding plans and bringing her along in the arrangements. This would help to reassure her and, who knows, she might start to loosen up again. Don't let her refusal to submit to your sexual demands at this very point ruin your intended plans for the both of you. Obaseki500: |
She overdid it this time. |
