Good day people, I will make this short as possible. My girlfriend came back from church yesterday and told me that it is compulsory for all executives in each departments to register their relationship if they are not married just for the church to keep tag on them. She told me that she lied to her pastor about me that I haven't been to the church before mean while have been there once and even had interaction with the pastor and pastor's wife... the pastor's wife recognised me when she came to my work place like two months after I visited her church.

The way my girlfriend feels after her conversation with her pastor seems there's a brother in her church the pastor wants to hook her up with. She was telling me it's whatever her pastor says is final about our relationship.


Now if she later tell her pastor about us and the pastor say I am not the right person for her l, she won't think twice before she ends our relationship.

If you know, you are a capable "husband-to-be" in no distance time, show your face and let pastor know you.

I am always reading on this Website... but never posted anything. So, because I have a topic to discuss... I decided to register now.

As we are already heading forward to another December very fast and requests are going all around...

I would love to understand something...

Many stories starts like this...

A man who lives abroad (e.g.germany), starts talking to a woman at home... tells her, that he lives with a german woman since years, have a kid with her - need more, but at home....

We all know what the question of the day will be at the end...

Coming home for Christmas, the man will let her know, that he will financially take care of her, they accept to do the traditional Wedding that same December, they try their possible best, to get her pregnant AND THAN, HE LEAVES back to abroad...

Eventually they will see every December from now on... maybe every 2 years... only God knows...

The woman knows, she will surely not live under the same roof with her new husband for at least, the next years...

Again, she knows, as he leaves, he will continue enjoying his life in germany... while she will feel lonely...

So all she see from her husband... is some text, some phone calls , some money every month... and she will live from year to year, with the hope to spend 4 weeks to spend with her husband - and after that, it will all repeat itself ...

How can a woman look for a marriage like this?
Is "a financial caretaker" really making her happy?
Does she really intend, to be loyal to her husband?
Or is it the hope, to follow him abroad one day?

I mean, once you are traditionally married to him, having a child for him... you can't easily change your mind again and Look for another man!?

If it is the idea, of him coming back one day... how will you know, if this man, that u just know for 4 weeks in a year- will make you happy, by that time?

There are so many nice guys at home - what makes them to close their eyes for these men and wait for a so called "Fast December marriage"?

I would really love to understand these women...

And would be glad about some answers out of experience...

And I would also love to know, how this kind of "arrangement" can fullfill a man's heart!?

To know, that a woman choosed to spend her life like that, while you are living abroad... and "worst case" even enjoying family life there with another woman, while your wife at home is just lonely....

I was once close to a married man and this was because I was working with him.
This one was even a pastor. So ministry work brought us together.
I was a Sunday school teacher, and assistant head choir, assisting the wife in that department too.

So, at the time, I was more like his assistant because the assistant ( a guy) was not always around. So since I was always around and available, he took to me and was confiding in me.

Now, the wife was aware that we were close and doesn't express any form of disapproval because she trusted us together.

He drops me home most times and we would sit in his car and talk for hours before he'll start heading home only after I've started giving him body language that I want to go inside my house.

Initially we used to discuss generally about life and what goes on in the ministry but after a while, he started discussing family issues with me to which I wasn't comfortable about.
He would complain about how the wife is not supporting him in the ministry the way I do. And how he's tired of her stubbornness and all. In my mind, I'll be like why is he telling me all these.

The day I knew I have to draw the line was the day he told me the wife had been denying him of sex for a very long time and all that. I was somehow embarrassed cos I never expected him to disclose that part of his life to me as a pastor and someone I respect so much.

Another time, we were talking and he said, sister, see let me tell you, if anything happens to my wife now ( he now said God forbid, God forbid) and I have oyibo lady like you that is fresh by my side, ah, what do you think will happen? I'll just... you know, its easy, we'll just"... And I was like Huh... Pastor!!!... I now laughed to cover it up and he was like.. " nooo.. it will just happen. That was when I knew, I had to cut my closeness with him. This one he's already imagining death for his wife. Hm.

So, all I'm saying is, men cannot be trusted with being just friends with a lady. One day, the devil will minister to him to try his luck.

Married women, don't let your husband tell you, she's just a friend, trust me, nothing. Ha! Tell him right away, you can't be friends with her o.
