Opportunity to talk down on the ladies. I don't know why some guys derives joy in doing that. She made her decision and it should be respected. People marry for different reasons. Do you want her to come to your house and start giving you attitude because of your inability to take care of the family or meet up with her financial expectations? |
If Nigeria is a country to be reckoned with, it would have taken the opportunity to fill the gap created by Russians in supplying gas to Europe. The EU are now looking for reliable partners that could provide them with gas in the absence of Russia |
Latakia:Please why wont he demand good governance in Lagos state if it is where he resides and pays his taxes ? |
Just imagine if he was in Pakistan!!! - He would have been beheaded and burnt. No police unit or armored tanks could have stopped the mob from beheading and burning him. Pakistan no get joy when it come to blasphemy act. Your family member could even kill you on account of blasphemy and still go scot free. |
Arusi!!! Eze n' Ukpo This man is eats and drinks Petro dollar - cleaning out from his massive oil fields in Equitorial Guinea, Sao Tome and Principe |
This OP is just a small boy from a rich home. He seems to lack emotional stability expected of someone of his age and a master's student. As a master's student in 2009, I wished you saw my packaging. You don't need to go too close to them. Maintain your dignity and self-respect. They will be the ones coming to you. |
I don't know how this Mai Buni of a guy still manages to govern his Yobe State and at the same time, acting as caretaker committee chairman. The governance in that his state is on recess and it's the people that are suffering the most. Civil servants and political appointees in Yobe state would be doing anyhow and performing sub optimally since the chief executive officer is based in Abuja. |
The wife is incharge of Anambra state. Those that works for the woman are made as she rewards exceedingly like Tinubu. She has been controlling Obiano right from the time she was her personal assistant in Fidelity bank. |
nymphomaniac:FG should dualize that road. All those escort drivers coming to pick up politicians and powerful people drives reckless, overtaken anyhow without considering the incoming vehicle. Very dangerous my brother. |
I am sure that the OP is an Igbo man. This is always an issue in Igbo land. Since you have adopted him as a son, bearing your name and calling you, father. What else do you want? People do underestimate the power behind the fact that some one calls you father. It's not just symbolic, there is an unbroken covenant. |
I had a near head on collision with a Toyota Hilux. I landed PH airport and was picked up by an airport taxi. If you know PH airport road very well, it's very narrow and single-laned. We were driving, heading out from the airport on a single narrow road. An incoming Toyota Hilux with siren, heading to the airport, overtook a car and was coming directly to hit us. I had just closed my eyes as I expected the inevitable. The Toyota Hilux driver just swerved off the road, into the grass land. Very close shave. My driver just looked at him and said, "idiot, you think I would leave the road for you". I was mad with the guy. Even me that was sitting with him in front, I envisaged the Toyota guy and knew he wanted to overtake the car in his front and expected my driver to kind of slow down. I told him he should thank his God. If the worst had happened, he won't be alive to insult any body. While driving on Nigerian roads, be vigilant and always pre-empt the next driver. |
OP, I am sorry to say this but Nigerians are too desperate once it comes to travelling abroad. Once you mention white man's country, all their senses disappear and desperation sets in. All these Eastern European countries have nothing to offer but we wont hear. Most of my country men are stucked there and shame is not making them to take the wise decision of coming back home. Please for the sake of your sanity, prepare for your home coming. Don't get stucked and waste your productive years waiting for the elusive migration to the western part of Europe as people are deceived and meant to believe. |
Waste of human space. I don't know why people keep bringing kids that they cant take care of. I fear for this country in the future. People are just "producing" idiots for the larger society to battle with in the future. People that don't have means of training their kids into responsible adults should be castrated and stopped from giving births. We now have many abandoned idiots in Nigeria roaming the streets. |
"If the music follow you enter toilet". I can relate. |
The current sardines tins are now well spaced - just two pieces in a Tin unlike when you had them many. ![]() So, don't compare the current sardines pack with the way these students are sitting. Attending Nigerian universities is now becoming a nightmare. I couldn't imagine that I once attended one. |
somehow:It is the Nigerian ways of doing things. No attention to details. The "Oga, leave am like that"mentality. Na so we dey do am here. I am shocked that Michlin could see someone's demand for good workmanship as an attack on Nigerian artisans while he had earlier made comments about how the Beninoise had taken over the plastering business from Nigerians because of poor workmanship. I can't go below my taste. I will pay you money and demand thorough workmanship. There is nothing like "Nigeria is a difficult place". Every body is facing the same difficulty in his or her trade. That should not be a reason to compromise on quality. Give them sample of what you want, some would still deliver below standards. Sometimes, it's not about having the correct tools. It's about concentration and cheer determination to deliver first class work. Michlin, please allow people that demands professionalism to be. Once you have established taste for class, you wouldn't want to go below it. Somehow, sorry I used your quote to digress. |
EgunMogaji2:My wife showed me a massive dinning with six seaters as her preferred choice since her friend got same last year in trade fair. I just laughed within me and kept quiet. What you posted is what I am getting but rounded in shape instead of rectangular with four chairs. I want a home that radiates tranquility and space. We sold most of our furniture to get new ones because of the new house. Reaching a compromise on the design of furniture to get has always been our problem because of individual taste. |
EgunMogaji2:Your Casa villa tells me that our taste buds are same. You are right with the Nollywood analogy. All the mansions they use in Nigeria movies comes with that kind of "royal" sofas posted by the guy, making it popular. All the Alaba big men in my hood have those kind of sofas. But they are turn off for me. I like space a lot with minimal material objects. |
cjfbn:Honestly, that's not my kind of taste and design. I like them simple and minimal in design. See the pictures of what I am going for
|
Honestly, I do not see a father figure in this Mr. man. He seems so careless. I am sure his carelessness contributed to his son's death. Being a typical Nigerian politician, who knows, he himself may be on substance. See how his recklessness contributed to his son's death. As a dutiful and dedicated father, when your child makes a complain, you act quickly. Do not wait or continue in the "business as usual" mentality that he or she would be fine. There are always some unsaid needs and issues and it is your responsibility as a parents to figure it out from your kids. |
EgunMogaji2:This is why I have not gotten the sofa I wanted. There is a showroom near my area. You know, I love those minimalist sofas with nice castor legs that you could be able to see underneath the sofas I saw nice sofa (one-3 sitter and 2-single sitters). I told them that I will pay and pick them but they said that those ones are samples and that I should deposit 50% for them to do exactly the same ones. My worry is not depositing money but it would shock you that the final outcome may not be same with the sample in the showroom. I asked them for the pictures of real works they had done before. After seeing the pictures of some of their works, i quietly ghosted them. My friend had a bitter experience with an interior decorator that brought magazine of beautiful furnitures. After he selected the one he wanted and paid, then delivery was made after a month. The sofas delivered were not of the same eye-catching as what he saw in their magazine. I prefer to see what i want, then pay and pick them. |
Why the man dey always keep him mouth like this? - Always bending one side like person wey wan force smile |
The real killers of this man are chilling somewhere. She may be an accomplice but the real badoos that stabbed and killed him have not been brought to book. |
Obi Cubana!!! i hope you survive this one. Those that hates you for no just cause will finger you in this case if it is even genuine in the first place as I do not trust Nigerian system. As someone earlier pointed out above, it may be a smokescreen to distract attention from the extradition warrant from the US Attorney federal district court. |
Make this man wait and start work. All these media releases is not good. I hope there wont be excuses when reality sets in. I wish him all the best |
Still very local and our standards are terribly low. Watch the pitches used by third division clubs in South Africa. We lack maintenance culture and takes inefficiency as a way of life. |
Are you still in this trade? Where is your location? |
Congratulations Baba. Very neat and clean. Just the way I love it. No complicated designs. It ozees out and radiates tranquility. The simpler, the better. Is this for your own use or for commercial? |
Read about sterling Bank and what they are currently targeting to achieve. You must have the correct questions to ask when the time comes for you to ask them questions. Your questions must focus on what the bank's strategies are and how they intend to achieve them. The questions you ask may be the thing that will distinguish you from other candidates. Your questions must be intelligent questions. Have mastery of all the those "lies" and "achievements" you indicated on your CV. You must be ready to defend every skills and training you claimed to know and have attended. It is not uncommon for people to lie on their CVs and embellished them with lies, just know how to defend those lies. Look smart and suave. Don't wear those boggy and oversized suites sold by those Mallams at Marina, go to idumota and get second hand Zara suite and give "Ndi Obioma" to mend it to be body fitted. Don't take this opportunity for granted. Entering the banking sector as a graduate trainee is a dream of every graduate and it's an opportunity to set your career on a path of growth. Good luck! |
This Buffon should just keep quite - Always recycling old stories and lies. The guy no dey move me at all. He looks and behaves somehow |
Imagine if the recruiter was a Nigerian HR!!! I am sorry to say this but Nigerian HR are the worst. They hardly offer empathy or see job seekers as important. If it was a Nigerian interviewing you, he would even lash at you for not being prepared. Trust me, the woman was open and would not take all the glitches into consideration in making her decision. |
Please if it is a start-up FINTEC, biko, remain where you are now. The rate of mortality of start-ups, including fintecs in Nigeria is alarming. Don't be moved by the initial attractive pay. Once they are not able to scale through the difficult, competitive and challenging business terrain of Nigeria, they will just collapse. I will advise you remain with the commercial bank, except if you are a contract staff with the commercial bank, you may give the fintec company a chance, otherwise, maintain. |
