He didn't even forget the thanksgiving. He emphasized it. Money must flow ![]() After the sermon, just go straight to thanksgiving ![]() |
After your father's catastrophic failure in politics, you want to still tow the same path ![]() |
God bless America. The land of opportunities. A friend just moved there with his family on a fully funded Ph.D scholarship.I am sure he wont step his foot again in Nigeria |
It is becoming clearer - Emiefele is the choice of the establishment. He has been a good boy and under his watch, emptied the treasury for them. This is the reward time. He may be adopted as the consensus candidate. Thats when they will know what Tinubu meant when he said he was going to fight dirty for this election. Emiefele is the one wearing suite in this cartoon by Asukwo

South East politics and church - See how she take style wear her holy rosary. Let people know that she be "chineked" girl ![]() Religion and denomination is a factor in Anambra politics. You cant even take it away |
This Festus Okoye no dey smile at all. I like listening to the guy. He is sound when it comes to electoral matters and he says it the way it is. No window dressing. Very smart and sharp guy with great intellect. |
It is now Atiku's ticket. I knew that Atiku will eventually become the flag bearer of PDP. The crowded aspirants from the South cant defeat Atiku, except if all of them steps down for just one candidate. |
Lasgidi gave me the exposure, the job, training, contacts and the all round development. It's stressful but my current job as an independent consultant now makes it easier and fun. I don't work for anyone and wakes up at my own time. Moreover, my major clients are in Port Harcourt, Calabar and Abuja, where I travel to work once in a while. I will be in Lagos till I leave Nigeria later or get political appointment that would take me to my state, Abuja or any of the Nigerian missions abroad. ![]() |
Kingpin1000:You people should drop this your irritating mysogonist views. Hatred for the female folk isn't good. It won't do you any good. I have a lovely daughter that I adore so much. |
There are so many propagandas in this war. When the Russians left, bodies were not shown on the street. When the Ukrainian troops were entering the same town, no dead body was seen lying on the road. Just after four or five days, horrors of dead bodies are all over the places. Psychological warfare is also part of warfare. Syrian rebels used chemical weapons on civilians within their areas and pinned it on Asad because they wanted the international community to join the war against Asad. War is very complicated and you fight physically, psychologically and emotionally to win your enemy. |
I don't intend to drive luxury car in Nigeria. E get why. My Toyota Corolla, any time; any day |
Sergio101:Una no go ever leave Tinubu alone ![]() Anytime you hear or see healthy people celebrating birthday at 80, you guys will remember that Tinubu is their junior ![]() That Adeboye picture own make me laugh die - Baba was wearing suite and penn trouser, looking dapper, while his supposedly junior was looking like a 90 year old man, with shaky hands |
African cities and towns disgusts me. Why cant we just emulate the civilized world in building our cities and bringing decency to our ways of living? |
Nothing special. Typical third world country city. Mariupol or Donbass is still finer. You simply can't take it away from Europeans when it comes to cities. It's not by planting trees and marking road lanes. Europe's third grade cities are better than the best of what we have here. You can't even compare Abuja with my university town of Aberdeen |
EgunMogaji2:It is too close to the wall abi?? What are the implication of having the build too close to the fence? |
Amaechi is never a straight forward person. He was trying to exonerate himself. See how he tried to muscle FEC into approving his corruption-ridden request |
I hope he wont take to armed robbery ![]() Some robberies are now perpetuated by retired forced men or those exited from the system. |
Please watch international News like BBC, CNN, Aljazeera and Euronews. Watchtch their documentaries, interviews, conversations, reporting and discussions. Not only will your English be better, you will get the opportunity to learn sound phonetics and be able to pronounce words professionally. Don't underestimate the importance of effective communication, both verbal and written in career progression. Use this opportunity now to develop it and sharpen your skills in that area. Your circumstances of birth or environment may have contributed to that but don't be discouraged. Our fathers lived in villages then but were able to develop their communication skills in English language effectively while in school. All the very best. |
I don't blame these students. There is no need coming back. Nigeria is currently in a big mess. They should continue to dig in. I love EU with their liberal approach towards refugees. A Nigerian has successfully moved to Austria with other refugees. Based on the new EU emergency policy for Ukraine, third country citizens like students have now been granted temporary protection, with right to work and access social welfare. The guy in Austria is receiving 250 Euros every month, with shopping voucher to pick up provisions and specified items at some designated super market in Vienna, Austria. If you are student, please remain put there and keep digging it. The EU law would surely protect you. Coming back is not an option. Where do you even start sef? No job, electricity, opportunity, ASUU is on strike and the government won't provide you any assistance except that they have worked to bring you home. |
Me I don't observe anything. I jejely park by the Side and allow the idiots on wheels to pass. I don't struggle the roads with them. Once I sight them, I first slow down or if still far, I will increase speed before they get to me. |
You are MEAN bro ![]() Little things makes our wives to cherish us. You people seems to have lost the spark. I couldn't believe that a husband could not exercise restrain on his wife at this age. After cooking it yourself, you should have gone to her and held her up to come and join you and ensures that she took her medicine after eating. The fact that she was using her earpiece to watch movie is irrelevant. People that are sick finds ways to heal internally. It could be watching video or listening to music. Myself, i do listen to old school and high life musics like Jim Reeves, Osadebe, Celestian Ukwu or Rex Lawson when I am down with migraine or little headache. |
qekng40:I will rather be in Mariupol than in Kaduna right now. In Mariupol, the enemies are known and emergency service is top notch, with massive international support. Kaduna may be equated to Mogadishu in Somalia. |
Mehn, I didn't know you play in this kind of space - contemporary architecture. ![]() This is super beautiful with class of touch. The front looks nice. My love for flat roof. It gives a building a different kind of look altogether. I will love to follow you on this during the roofing stage to see how it is done. I love flat roofs but my concern is the builder getting the roofing right. Well done! |
Honestly, i respect US. No country comes close when it comes to dolling it out money US has granted up to $1bn on grants and aids so far. Not loan o. Is it because they are the ones printing the dollars? ![]() US dwarfs other EU countries when it comes to financial support. US have also budgeted huge amount to help rebuild Ukraine Trust me, within 3 year after this conflict, Ukraine would have been rebuilt even to a far better standard. They are lucky to have backers that are rich. |
I am doing everything to insulate myself from Nigeria's numerous problems and it seems to be working. I cherish my sanity so much. I didn't even bother to watch the match, knowing the badluck that have been following her. Even the videos of Kaduna train incidence, I have refused to get myself to watch the videos. I just read headlines and move. I decide the news coming from this country that I could assimilate and filter the rest. If you cherish your sanity, please detach asap from Nigeria matter or else you go collect unnecessary anger and HBP for nothing. The country's economic situation is biting hard. You don't need to compound your problems even further. See how NEPA has been dancing naked for the past three weeks. I pity majority that still relies on NEPA for power. |
Nnaeb:That lady na PWC and ICAN price winner. If you have interacted with big 4 accounting firms staff, you will know that they are one of the smartest. Training with them is the best thing that could happen to any recent graduate. I missed out in their recruitment in 2005. Best places to start career for those that are career minded. |
Emergency service here is nothing to write home about. Don't pray to be rushed to hospital in Nigeria. |
Stop wasting your time or the depression would become real. We always have high hopes whenever we see many job adverts in UK job portals, thinking that they are recruiting "massively", if i may use the common Nigeria word . We usually see hundreds and thousands of jobs, thinking that the jobs are surplus. Just take your time and check the number of people that have applied for that same position. You will see a job and it is showing 2000 have already applied. As a job seeker, you have to be selective. If you apply for every job that comes your way and continue to get the usual rejection mail, depression may not be far from you. Sometimes, you have to take a break from the application madness, evaluate yourself and focus on where you think you have advantage. It is always difficult for UK based employers to offer positions to foreigners when they have not exhausted the options available within the UK labor market. Save yourself some stress and focus on the Nigerian market. Build your rich experience with a Nigerian employer and continue the search. Good luck! |
I can't believe that my dad is older than Tinubu ![]() |
SmartPolician:They are ignorant of their actions. SE is traders'-driven state. They don't know what FDI is and believe in one man's effort. That's why graduate unemployment is the highest in the SE now. They are all trooping to Lagos for jobs. Any graduate living in SE is just wasting his time as there are no major viable company to employ them except the so called "one-man businesses" This action is killing the region and alienating them from local and international investors. This is not freedom fighting; this is pure stupidity. |
Nairaland should stop giving these idiots publicity. I don't know why the mods are pushing ipob news to the front page. Bunch of idiots. I am sure most SE people here are tired of this sit at home but their hatred and not to feel defeated is making them to still support the stupid sit at home. |
This Ukrainian president is becoming so annoying. Why is he blackmailing businesses and countries? He is even trying to muscle the EU into accepting Ukraine into the bloc without following laid down rules, just because you brought war unto your country. I blame those businesses that have decided to leave just to be politically correct in the eyes of the media. The response from this CEO is the most sensible I have ever seen. They are serving the civilian population and not military. What about the loyal and dedicated staff that have been with them over the years in Russia? |
