This is not necessary!!!. They should wait and allow proper investigation. Stand with him on what ground?? The man goofed big time. He should not have called the Police Chief under whatever circumstances. Those guys messed him up big time. He should have paid the $300 traffic fine and move on. Nobody would have heard about the incidence. But as a Nigerian, he went ahead to call the police chief to complain that his boys fined him. The same way Nigeria's big men and government officials behaves towards law enforcement agencies. The $300 fine pain him sha! |
We deserve the kind of leaders we get here in Nigeria. See a supposedly leader ![]() This is why they loot and amass so much wealth just to cater for the army of idle children they are giving birth to Certain culture and beliefs systems in the North are somehow inimical to common sense and development and badly affects the country at large. I hardly get motivated listening to our leaders. They do any how, talks carelessly and behaves in a manner unbecoming of a public figure. Just today, the Met Police in London launched an investigation into the 10 Dawning street's chrismas party attended by the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, when the whole country was supposed to be under lockdown. This is a system that abhors abnormality. Our social system is nothing to write home about. |
fitinwell:You dey mind dem . She seems to be trying to justify something or to counter something. Very unnecessary. She doesn't need all these explanation and sermon as she owes people nothing. People pass through a lot during pregnancy, carry to terms and keeps all to themselves. |
Buhari, Nigeria's President, was the man of the Match according to Tunisian Sports Daily. ![]()

Patriotism build nations. See their excitement in hosting the US flag. West have seen thousands of years civilization. Innovation is the answer to Adams Smith's celebrated seminar paper on : 'Inquiry into the cause of wealth of nations'. Wealthy nations have one thing in common: Innovation and production. |
They were warned to stop breeding and giving birth like rabbits by the former British prime minister in the mid 30's but they refused. Most of their middle class are struggling to leave the country and move to the West. Nigerians should learn from India. If our unchecked population growth continues without any commensurate economic growth, we are in for a major disaster. Over population could be a curse to a nation if not well managed. You can read about the Malthusian theory of population in economics. |

bobkezel:There is usually a metal plate inserted in the middle and then covered with hard wood. The customer decides if he wants the bullet proof type or not. |
Enyinne:It actually looks like those hand crafted hard wood doors that cost up 500k to 1m. I like the natural feel of woods on buildings. Those hand crafted heavy doors fabricated here are very expensive and are usually heavy the way I want. But the prices are pretty dam high. This already made ones for turkey posted here are cheaper. Most Nigerians, as your mum, won't like that type because it is not shiny with lots of gold plated colours. I like them conservative and natural in appearance. I like the feel and look of wood finishes a lot. Be it tiles, doors, TV panels or walls. Natural hard wood finishes are expensive but stands out. |
DFAMEGUY11S:What is the size of the last door and price tag? The one with all wooden body |
Ok o. Just that the Nigeria's system is not conducive for any technocrat to achieve anything. So much banana pills. I hope he walks the talk. The Nigeria's system is rigged against good leadership. |
My wife said her October is showing "FAILED" but also showing November as pending. She has not received October. What could be wrong? She was paid September. Same account; same bank. |
I don't know if it is me but this guy always talks and behaves too childish for my liking. Always wanting public acceptance and pity and yet his personal branding is below par. |
North Africans are always terrible people to play against in a knockout stages. Very cunning and knows how to upset their opponents. Eagles should not allow them to even score first. They will just frustrate the hell out of super eagles. That's their entrenched ways of operations. |
sonnie10:I love the chairs. Suitable for outdoor backyard sit out |
La Liga and Seria A have been doing everything to make their league popular in Nigeria. They know that Nigeria is a football loving country and marketing the la Liga brand is their mission. One guy that works with multichoice Nigeria told me that la Liga is in the process of onboarding some top Nigeria celebrities, sports men and comedians as brand ambassadors. Lucky them! More Euros to their pockets. |
As a Blackman, why working in a white dominated environment, don't lower your guard because you are constantly being watched for any slip. Excuses are not acceptable. Poor him, he thought it was Nigeria. He may be re-instated if the reason for calling the Chief police in the region was not related to his being fined. I hope our own dear Malami and other idiots that calls themselves leaders could see how developed countries works. You don't interfere with law enforcement. The day you start playing politics with your security and judiciary institutions, then you have started the total destruction of the fabrics of that society. This government is exceptional in interfering in our judiciary and security operations, dishing instructions and obstructing same when it suites them. |
AsampeteNwaanyi:Put "graphics" please. I hate to look at Nigerian politicians. Looking at their faces just irritates me. You could see the face of incompetence, greed, corruption and embezzlement. No wonder they look too ugly. |
I will soon pay my own visit. I hope all those overzealous security guard will allow me to see the president. I need to tell him that people are suffering in this country. Prices of things are going up and our incomes are no more meeting up with expenses. |
EgunMogaji2:Don't even be discouraged if your own tuff is Nigeria. Lots of Nigerian kids that schooled in Nigeria went abroad and graduated top of their classes, secured decent jobs more than some privileged few that were born, brought up and schooled abroad. Let the determination and the will power to excel be there. After all, I schooled in Nigeria and went abroad for my masters with scholarship (fully funded) and came out with distinction in my course of study. I still came back to Nigeria. Some other scholars stayed back and are still doing pretty good abroad. It's all about individual gifts, parental guidance and unshakable desire to succeed. |
Life and stages! Who knew Davido and the current musicians when this Faze was on top of his game then? Nobody hears about him now. New set of artists have displaced him. Originality!!! My favourite then. |
I don't see the war ending any time soon. The Tigrayan forces are armed to the teeth. President Abiye goofed when he tried to disarm them. You don't disarm a group that has been in power for more than 30 years. The war is going to be a long drawn out war. It will surely outlive the current Ethiopian government. When you start a war, you can't predict when or how it would end. Jealousy and hatred got the better of prime minister Abiye and he wanted to use force to disarm his ancient rivals, who had ruled Ethiopia in the past. There are foreign actors to the conflict who wouldn't want an end to the conflict. The Tigrayan rebels are being armed dangerously and they have the resources to procure high calibre munitions. They have thousands of Tigrayans living abroad, funding their operations, including tacit support from Egypt and Sudan. These two countries would ensure that Ethiopia is distracted from continuing the vexatious millennium dam they are constructing along the Nile River. US and EU do not like Abiye because of his pro Russian stand. Foreign and international organizations, including UN are not supporting Abiye. The Tigrayan are using their international connections to the maximum. Their kinsman at the WHO is pulling all the plugs. It is a difficult war for Ethiopia without any visible foreign support. As usually the case with this kind of war, it is the masses that suffers. Hunger, diseases and death have become normal in Tigray. |
mufutau55:I learnt the lesson from my uncle. Massive 8 bedroom duplex with two bedroom boys quarter. Today, all the kids are in UK, Canada, Copenhagen, Denmark and Ibadan. The house was a beehive of activities in the 90s through the mid 2000 as family members visited in their numbers from the East. Today, when one talks in the house, it echoes. His two gigantic Listers are packed in the generator's house, unserviceable. The house continue to dilapidate, except when the one that lives in Ibadan comes around, he tries to do some patchy work. Those abroad don't stay when they come to Nigeria with family. The stay in hotel and visit. The house is no more conducive. The small Gen cannot carry AC . Hajj, you can still repurpose it at the appropriate time if you want. Nothing spoil. It is still an asset. |
mufutau55:Most people are not learning from what is happening to some families. Go to Lekki, Ikoyi and some high brow areas in Nigeria, only the aged-parents are staying in the massive duplexes. All the children and grand children are abroad. I have also noticed that most middle class and rich Nigerians are not even preparing their children for a life in Nigeria. They are preparing them for life abroad. I already re-plannd and repurposed my current build for eventual conversion to self-contain and mini-flat and get myself a decent two bedroom bungalow, but with enough compound. I love big compounds more than big houses. |
I pity the poor and the daily pay dependent people there. IPOB has become a cancer that has eaten deep into the social fabrics of the people of SE. Stupidly, some ignorant people that should be better informed are the ones cheering them on just to spite the Nigerian State. At the end, it is their own loss and not the Nigerian State, even though the country looses generally because of perceived heightened security tension that scares away foreign investors. IPOB members have no means of sustainable living. Whether the SE burns is none of their business. They prefer to continue with their threat and intimidation to scuttle development in the region. These guys cash out big time from money received from ill-informed overseas sympathizers. Unemployment is fueling more members to join the group, thus constituting into a ready army to unleash harvoc on their people at any slightest disobedience. IPOB is like the Cambodia's Khmer Rouge that came to power and subjected her people to untold hardship in the name of enforcing discipline. They were using intimation and nationalistic zeal to coarse the people towards doing their bidding. A lot of E-warriors are here reading this and would come over to defend the act of the terror group. Some are in their respective places of work and businesses outside the SE but continually want people to sit at home in the SE. I have people in the SE and no one has ever liked the idea of sit at home. The only ones that have continued to like the idea are the E warriors here just to spite other people that they are one and fighting for one purpose. All the people I have in SE that I have spoken to all expressed sadness on that sit at home and the effect on the general social life of the people. You cant use hatred and anger to achieve your goal. Tact, discipline and good politicking. Sentiments wont give you result or expect people to abide by your rules. You have to go out and sell your ideology. |
juman:You gerrit ![]() That's how it works. I am also into the game. Package a proposal and go and meet all these governors. I am sure he would not even open that document and neither the ministry of environment. The consultant collects his fees and looks for the next maga. Consultancy job is another yahoo yahoo on a professional level. But you don't blame the consultant. They sell services and proposals. It is left to the client to see to the implementation of the recommendations. But more often than not, most clients do not implement anything, especially government. |
insidelife22:You are just plain stupid!!! Something that has become a national problem is being trivialised because of your stupidity. That's why you rushed just to type your stupid comments. You haven't read where the herdsmen also attacked villages in Enugu and Ebonyi, killing many. Because it was Ogun and you rushed to type your rubbish, fuelled by ignorant hatred. You guys should sit up and start thinking properly. |
I saw it coming. I knew that the Prime Minister will mess him up. Why did he present a fake exemption certificate? He could even be prosecuted for that. He did not do well at all. Law is law irrespective of your status. That is how developed world works. You must respect the rules |
Nnewi should be developing into a model city but the city is just too crude for my liking Too chaotic, dirty, narrow roads, lack of urban planning, indiscipline of the highest order and backwards. The new governor should focus on rehabilitating Onitsha and Nnewi and make them a 21st century model cities. Cities inhabited by mostly traders are always chaotic, lacks decency and gross indiscipline is usually ingrained in their DNA |
Government officials!!! Always pontificating about corruption, yet na dem carry corruption for head This government doesn't know that nepotism is also corruption - the worst of it sef. They should stop disturbing us about corruption and deliver on the little things we are asking - electricity and good roads |
Nigeria!!! 80 - man squad for what naa ![]() We are expert in wastages in this part of the world. Just imagine paying for the flight tickets of all these people and lodging them in a hotel. What do I know? Let the ignorant morons keep praising them. |
