Kai, the pains and trauma that comes with your house being demolished is better imagined than experienced. Many do not survive it and when they do, it must have induced high blood pressure that may never go |
inoki247:He is not usually aware of his environment. |
They should keep deceiving themselves and Nigerians are falling for it. They codedly chose a church to launder their image in the name of birthdays celebration, knowing quite well how gullible Nigerians could be when it comes to religion. |
Elsueno:Quite correct. He should have lured them into his side and decimate them one by one. He acted hastily. Tigrayans were already suspicious of the guy. He shouldn't have invaded them but should have waited and watched. This war is not going to end and Tigrayans will never disarm, now or in the future. Ethiopia is on the path of self-destruction. The war will outlive President Abiye and the next president will continue. Egypt and Sudan will be laughing at this Abiye guy. The so called big dam Abiye is building is not on a standstill and Eqypt will do everything to ensure that the war continues. They may even be arming the Tigrayans. Abiye is simply inexperience and too young. |
Guyman02:Exactly, I like your narrative using Nigeria's situation. Obasanjo was tactical with that purge in the military and brought semblance of balance. It would take decades to undo what Buhari has done. |
Anytime you see celebrities inside a private jet, ask them to also snap the cockpit. They should stand before the cockpit and snap. A lot of restaurant is springing up around lekki, built in airplane style, with private jet decoration. People go there and snap and post on social media. |
They should withdraw that Nobel Peace Price given to Ahmed Abiye. That Ethiopian president is a big fraud. He under estimated the Tigrayan peoples liberation front, a party that had ruled Ethiopia for much of its past years. He should have threaded softly. See how this has escalated. When you call for war, you hardly knew how it would end. See the Syrians, from one of the interviews I watched on Euronews, majority of them regreted that uprising and demonstration that started from Alepo against the Assad regime, thinking it was a mere protest. Much of Syria is now in ruins, and they are the most displaced people in the world, running from one country to another as refuge. President Abiye played into the hands of Egypt's Abdel Sisi and the Sudan's government because of their push back against the mega dam being constructed by Ethiopia. Abiye refused negotiation with those countries as both Sudan and Egypt expressed their reservation about the dam and its consequence on their respective countries. Abiye is on his, US and their allies are secretly backing the Tigray. The Tigray peoples party was aligned to US against the Soviet during the cold war. The president of WHO, a very popular figure from Tigray, is secretly gathering support for his people, which saw the rebels drove out government forces out of their region and are on an unstoppable match to Addis Ababa. Desperation has already set in for Abiye and he has called all Ethiopian to arm themselves against the rebels. Who does that? Abiye is a gunner. It is a matter of time before the Tigrayan forces capture Adis Ababa. Ethiopian troops are demoralized and Tigrayans that are in Ethiopian armed forces have absconded as they could not fight their ethnic brothers and moved to join Tigrayan forces, further depleting seasoned commanders within the Ethiopian forces. Abiye is now calling Russia for support but so far, Kremline has not shown any interest. Carry your cross President Abiye. Next time, reason with your brain |
TMKsouth:Stop responding to all these low life people with over bloated ego about Nigeria. There are SA social medias that Nigerians post and share conversations with SA. Feel free to post whatever you feel right about SA. It brings new knowledge about SA to Nigerians. Go to DSTV and see Nigerian made contents everywhere, being watched by many Africans without complaining. BBB Naija was a hook to many Africans, tuning in to watch Nigerian made content. |
10.9% of result withheld is quite high. Something must have happened |
He looks a little bit over weight. Heart attack, HBP and other cardio-related sicknesses are un forgiven and merciless when they strike, especially in a country without emergency like Nigeria. |
Rotimi Amaechi will be very happy about this news. I hear say na him dey .............................................. wetin you wan hear![]() |
This remittance is what is sustaining Nigeria's economy. If this remittance dries up, naira will crash and the economy will feel the impact. We haven't seen any major Foreign Direct Investment in this present regime. |
Never knew that accounting would put food on my table. Studied Engineering and wasn't lucky with the much anticipated oil company. ICAN came to the rescue, and for more than a decade now, I am making a living as a Chartered Accountant. It started becoming boring lately and I branched off towards international development and Social sciences. |
Make we no dey follow all these leftist western governments on this climate change thing. They used cheap hydrocarbon and coal to power their economies in the 17th century through the 19th century and want developing country to drop fossile fuel and move to more expensive renewables. They should bear the cost and support developing countries with funds. |
Outskirts of Lagos is full of faulty buildings. There is no supervision of buildings going on there. Every Laye, Sheriff or Idris is a building Engineer there. |
Valentine Ozigbo don take this one o. The law is an ass. It is blind to its own judgment and repercussions. The next runners up takes the seat. What a costly mistake coming from a Professor? That's why I take my time to fill any form or document, no matter how trivial the form or document may appear to be. |
I need to see the financials of this company to give my commendation. I am not a fan of Nigerian Politicians. A project cannot be accumulating huge debt and costs without commiserate return on investment. Ibom Air should publish its books, stating appropriation of profits so that we see the financial contribution of the airline to the State coffers. Nigerian politicians can do anything for hype and camera. For those that will come for me, you are on your own. If you want, continue to be excited about little things that these politicians dish to you. |
Like joke, my wife confirmed receipt of her September stipend. |
Na so Jonathan start. Please Prof., make you perform abeg. Leave all these stories. |
God save us from this illness called "Protracted illness" |
You even snap as them dey do the thing. Make people no doubt de breed of dog. |
FarahAideed:You finished Nigerian armed forces. Despite the huge budget, our armed forces seems under armed. Taliban, with their American new armour is well armed and sophisticated than Nigeria armed forces. Even C-1 planes are outdated. |
See the untared road sef. Nigeria's universities environments are nothing to write home about. |
Intelligence and ambition. You must possess the above to have easy access to my heart. All my former dates possessed the two. I took a bet on my wife as I didn't get to know her much before wedding. However, I am molding her into having the two mentioned qualities and she is adapting and absorbing them very fast. |
Very petty of Peter to have done that. It may be cool but always stay away from couples that are having issues, especially if you are close to them. When my cousin and his wife had issues, I deliberately held on with the wedding invitation extended to me by the wife, whose younger brother was getting married. Imagine my cousin seeing my picture in the wedding that he didn't attend? A simple text message of happy birthday would have sufficed instead of all these open social media congratulations to spite his brother. |
No be man be minister of women affairs in Afghanistan? So, nothing do you bro. |
People should still maintain eternal vigilance. APC can still take this through the tribunal. I was surprised that Andy Uba could beat PDP's Valentine Ozigbo to the second position. In Nigeria's elections, the party with the second highest of lawful votes still stands a chance at the tribunal. Honestly, I wasn't expecting Andy Uba to have gathered these amount of votes. Tanko is watching events! |
kollinz1234:IPOB that is not democratic. Do they believe in democracy? They will want to use violence and intimidation. They best is for them to be a pressure group and build alliances with local and international NGOs and remain responsible in the eyes of the people. That's how sympathy and connections are built and not by threats, intimidation and outright terrorism. They have lost their initial goodwill. |
These oyibos Sabi milk us dry. As if na dem own park for naija whether we go fit charge dem that amount. |
arthurwillia:Early 2000s through the mid 2000 was the golden era of the Nigeria banking sector, recruiting thousands of graduates then, with social mobility. Vetiva, Afrinvest, chapel hill dengam, Zenith capital, Diamond capital, FMDQ, IBTC, Intercontinental capital markets, oceanic capital, etc were some of the ones I did their tests. We were writing tests every month as One investment or commercial bank or the other would be recruiting. Continue to check out with these investments banks. That'll. I think, one investment bank, coronation merchant bank is recruiting. Check out their site if it is still on. |
Asour:You are not far from the truth |
Started on a very sluggish note and I am afraid, it may end also on a sluggish note. Thank God for July and August. I for end the year empty. However,we are still grateful as the dream is still on course and have one more month left. |
