I blame IPOB for this. This should have been somewhere in the East with all the money spent there but the troubling insecurity has made lots of diasporans to remain abroad. Some that dare to come back are hold up in choice apartments and hotels in Lagos for the Christmas.

I don't even know all these people you mentioned. The truth is that the standards and quality of actors and production have gone down. I hardly watch Nollywood except if I am in a hotel and may be, finds myself in the reception area, which normally shows Nollywood

I was a fan in the 90s through the mid 2000 when those actors I mentioned held sway. These days, I just waka pass. I cant even mention any current actor or actress in the Nollywood unlike in the mid 90s through 2000s that I knew practically all of them.

Once I am ready, I will simply demarcate my current duplex into mini flats and self contained. I already designed it to be easier to be demarcated and converted to self contained for letting.

One of the questions I asked a primary school friend then in Onitsha. I was excited that I would be going to the village on December 23, 1990. I asked him why their family always stayed at Onitsha when everyone had gone to their villages during Christmas and Easter. He said he is from Onitsha and had no village to go to.

Poverty and religion are inseparable. I don't know why poor people are the ones that are overly over religious. Same with them here in Nigeria, with all due apologies. Give these urchins US or EU visa, they will jettison their religion and take flight.

Nevertheless, NGO provides an uncommon opportunity for career growth and advancement. If you are single, consider the NGO but if you are married and have family, you may stay put in Ogun.

With the disappointing run of form of our Politicians since independence, do you think that British rule over Nigeria up to the 1990s would have been better for Nigeria? Me, I think so. The incompetence of Nigerian leaders sometimes made me regret the independence of Nigeria at that early stage. I believe that continuous British rule up till the 90s would have been more impactful than this appalling performance from our leaders.
