The people who emigrate via standard work visas and PR route would not do menial jobs for long. Last last, it might be 2-4 months when they first arrive, and then they move to better paying jobs.

The Nairalander who you're talking about who's a certified forklift driver can't tell me there aren't audit jobs available for him in Australia. It is his personal choice that he chose to tow that pathway.

There are also people who choose to stay in care jobs for 5-10 years.

I agree that all sides should be analysed but with the way all these care jobs are springing up, one would think that there aren't other jobs available for immigrants.
