sleekysoft:The cruise master ! How you doing? Greetings to you. The applicants I know that are heading to NL province have deferred their admission to the next available intake. All the best man. It will end in praise |
Toluchenko:Funds available for your stay, is the amount that will be readily available and accessible by you during the course of your studies. Following this, you can't use the worth of a landed property in Nigeria or the entire funds in your Sponsor's account for this purpose. It is totally irrational for a sponsor to give you the whole money in his/her account for your abroad education. It will end in praise. |
Zodka:The University of Manitoba processing times for undergraduate admission takes about 4 weeks. Whilst for post graduate programs are processed within 3-4 months depending on the choice of your program. You can email the graduate admissions to inquire why your application has taken longer than expected. It will end in praise. |
Godsblessings:The medical exam that was requested by IRCC will be automatically updated on her MyCIC account within three (3) working days. Your friend who got admitted to University of Windsor should proceed with making the tuition deposit through FORM A. He should email the student financial services for the University's wire payment details which comprises of the Swift Code and Bank identifier number. Form A is quite cheaper in comparison with other mode of payment. It will end in praise |
Bruan:What the visa officer meant by the statement "Great expense for moderate gain" is basically because of your current employment status as a "Warehouse Clerk". The visa officer believes that the your present pay scale at your place of work is too low to incur the cost of studying abroad. In an effort to overcome the concerns of the visa officer, you must adequately explain in your LOE the career prospects of Supply Chain Management graduates in Nigeria. Upon the completion of your studies in Canada, what are the job securities and possibility of getting a mouth-watering job in Nigeria. You need to explain if it far outweighs the incentives of staying back in Canada. I would recommend you write very well about your future goals and prospects in Nigeria. It will end in praise |
Bruan:The GCMS note is self explanatory and straightforward. In your next attempt, include documents that would demonstrate that your situation has substantially improved. It is clear that the compensated agent you used in your last application didn't include sufficient documentation to support your case. Since you will be self-sponsored in the subsequent process, add as much property documents and a bank statement covering for a period of 4-6 months in proof of your financial standing and establishment. Secondly, re-write your LOE by pointing out the new changes and information you've included in this current application. Don't also forget to include the degree certificate which the visa officer stated in the case note was missing. It will end in praise. |
Canhopeful:Congratulations to you peace. Good to know you implemented the advices given to you. It will end in praise |
Naijaforeigner:Thanks my brother for the compliments and attestations about me. You're a rare gem . I wish you all the best in all of your endeavours in London, Canada. It will end in praise |
Luckymama:I have nothing against you @Luckymama, it's normal for any leader to face criticism and rejections from others. It has always been my desire to do everything with a good heart and expect nothing in return, with this I won't be disappointed. I wish you the very best in your application. Hoping to receive a positive outcome from you. As always, It will end in praise. |
Tracy2020:No Nigerian bank operates in CAD. And you can't open a Canadian bank bank from Nigeria without a valid address in Canada and a Visa. Your best option is to open a domicilary account and transfer the funds in USD. It will end in praise |
Luckymama:I will appreciate it if you can show me evidence of any applicant on this thread I have recommended an immigration law firm and the commission you so claimed I gain from the law firm in Canada. In the event that you can't provide any verifiable evidence, then the moderator (justwise) should consider disconnecting you from sharing false accusations on this platform. Justwise take note please. It will end in praise. |
Aderin0la:Thank you my brother!. Not everyone is blessed with that ability to assimilate simple statements. It will end in praise. |
Luckymama:It beats me that this is literally coming from you @Luckymama. So, you feel a student can not work out 4kcad spent on a judicial review during the (4 months) Spring period (May to August) when school is not in session? You're such a hilarious person to have made that comment . Now, let me educate you properly that this is possible and achievable by a student with a diverse job hunting strategy in Canada. FYI, It is clearly stated on IRCC official website that students in Canada can work as much as they want (40hours/per week) during the Spring (May to August) without any restrictions. This information corroborates the fact that a student can actually be able to raise more than the money invested in the Judicial Review process during the Spring. I want to put it that you have little or limited knowledge on how things works, thus the unconscionable statement from you. For the fact that you can't afford this route doesn't give you the boldness to say I'm giving people unrealistic information. There are lots of applicants that have used the judicial review route because of the unfair judgments on their applications and they are happy about the outcome eventually and living their best lives in Canada. Trust me, I won't bother to contend on this matter with you.It will end in praise. |
MadeMan01:Unfortunately, I can't drop my email on a public forum. Please contact me directly via my signature so I would know how I can be of help to your immigration concerns. Thank you Sir! It will end in praise |
jamesobedbaisel:I regret to hear that your visa was rejected. The visa officer has expressed concerns about the genuineness of your sponsor (cousin) to sponsor your education in Canada. As such the possibility of you having access to funds in your cousin's account is not reliable. In this post, I will be providing some of the feasible strategies you can implement in your next application to address the concerns of the visa officer. First and foremost, you (principal applicant) and your cousin (cousin) must establish strong proof of relationship by including the following documents; 1. Your Father's Birth Certificate (showing that your dad and your cousin's dad share the surname name) 2. Family pictures (Where your cousin and you (the principal applicant) took in the past) 3. Family tree diagram (provide a diagram illustration showing brief description on how your father is connected to your cousin's father). 4. Bank statements (Showing proof of history or ongoing financial support from your sponsor (cousin) to you in the past or present). 5. WhatsApp messages (showing your chats and discussions about your plans to further your studies in Canada.) Etc. 6. A notarized Letter of sponsorship explaining why he is spending so much on you and what makes you so desirous of this sponsorship as well as what he stands to gain as a result of this sponsorship. 7. A domicilary account in your name showing transfer/deposit of equivalent $10,000CAD from your sponsor in support of your annual living expenses. 8. Your sponsor should complete the entire first year tuition fees from his bank account, and highlight the payment date on the SOA. I trust this will overcome the concerns of the visa officer in terms of continued access to funds if your circumstances changes. In regards to the visa officer's concerns with reference to your inability to demonstrate that your family is well established in Ghana. I would suggest you should add as much documents as possible to prove that you're well off in your home country. The following documents will strengthen your immigration case; 1. Landed property in your name (explain what you intend to do with this land in the near future upon your return home - probably you may emphasize on your plans to start up a company of your own which is in tandem with your acquired practical knowledge and international exposure in Canada) 2. A deed of gift from your parents duly prepared by a licenced attorney (the deed can be in form of assets or money which your parents has gifted to you out of love and affection and has irrevocable power over the gift deed). If possible, your family attorney should write a cover letter on your behalf explaining persuasively to the immigration authorities about your responsibility as the only child of your parent and confirming to the fact that you're the bonafide heir to your family's assets and must return home to ensure its continued management. I hope this information is helpful in your next attempt. It will end in praise. |
yemyte1000:IRCC are processing and receiving applications from Candidates, the immigration process has never at any point paused. Therefore, you may start your visa application by gathering relevant documents that will be helpful in your immigration case. It will end in praise |

ThatGirli:In the event that you got passport request earlier enough before November. Quickly renew the passport before submitting your new passport to the VAC. It will end in praise |
ThatGirli:You can renew the passport in November 2020. By then, the validity of your passport will be less than 6 months. Thereafter, raise a webform and update your application. Your visa will be stamped on the new passport while the old passport will be cancelled without prejudice. It will end in praise |
Pee2Jay9:Getting an approval in the end and being allowed to enter Canada to pursue your choice of program are the associated benefits that can't be turned down. Taking that into account, you wouldn't even recall the stress or expenses you incurred during the immigration process because you will eventually get the money spent in a matter of few months in Canada. It will end in praise. |

Olayinkaji:Good to know you went out of your way to verify my advice from the admission office.. It's time to make the most of the suggestions given in your next application. It will end in praise. |

Engager69:Strictly for those who can afford it because the associated benefits is worth it in the end. ![]() It will end in praise. |
Olayinkaji:You can reapply for your visa anytime, there is no immigration regulations of Canada that declared that an applicant has to wait for a particular duration before submitting a reapplication. Given that you already have an idea why the visa officer refused your initial application, the first course of action is to secure an admission in another College (Conestoga College and the likes) in Project Management. Gather enough documents to support your present application and rewrite your explanation letter to demonstrate that your situation has significantly changed. Let me know if you've any other questions. It will end in praise. |
Olayinkaji:Never to worry or blame yourself for anything that happened in the past. I believe you've been able to learn from your past mistakes through my advices and fully prepared now to put up an airtight application in your subsequent attempt. Make no further mistakes Boss, and please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. It will end in praise. |
JustMellow:Well said brother. I hope the visa officer's at the High Commission of Canada in Nairobi will be compassionate to an extent in processing study permit applications from Nigeria. Honestly speaking, the occurring refusals from these VO's is seriously giving the Gurus of this thread intense concerns as to the viable way/option of addressing these issues. Apparently, i suggest that applicants with good profiles but yet refused of their visas are better off opting for a judicial review than reapplying by themselves. Fighting the VO reasons for a refusal through JD process is the best option here, though it might cost the applicant some certain amount of money and the process may take quite a long time. However, considering the rate of refusals, I think it's worth going for a JD because at the end of the day the applicant will have a better chance of winning the case and getting his/her application reviewed and approved by another visa officer. Well, this is my subjective opinion based on the current situation of things. My brother, It's interesting to know that you're making good moves and plans for yourself. I look forward to providing my assistance to you in the best possible way I can in the near future. I wish you the very best in all of your endeavours. It will end in praise. |
Anon123:. NwanyiOkpa: Anon123:@Anon123, you're not getting it right on this ground. ATIP - processing times for GCMS notes takes max 15 to 17 days. It has nothing to do with whether or not it's a business day or weekends. Generally, processed requests are received between Monday's to Fridays, other non working days also count towards the processing times. Therefore, for those using third party GCMS websites, you should receive your notes delivered to your email address in 30-35 days not working days as advised by @Anon123 I hope this information is sufficient to your concerns. It will end in praise. |
uzomacl:I can confirm to have received your mail. I'll respond to your concerns shortly. Thanks for your patience. It will end in praise |
Olayinkaji:Basically you can see that in your last application you applied with an ordinary diploma instead of a post graduate diploma. Its good I was able to direct you better on the right step to take. All the best. It will end in praise |
Olayinkaji:PGD in Network Administration doesn't not exist in accordance with the information obtained from the NBCC website on the list of post graduate programs. In an effort to ascertain accuracy in information, please check this link NBCC POST GRADUATE PROGRAMS Given that you're presently employed as a project officer, a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management will be the best fit for a career progression. Therefore, request for a refund from NBCC and apply for an admission in Project Management. Let me know if you've any other concerns that requires attention. It will end in praise |
JustMellow:It is true that some GCMS notes may seem generic in meaning. Although, there are some Visa officers who carefully takes their time to review an application's entirety, most of which have been shared on this platform. If you check closely the reasons for the recent refusals, you will find out that the Visa officer is not far from the truth, some reasons may not actually reflect the true situation of the applicant, albeit, rather other reasons as highlighted by the VO may count. More importantly, is the fact that it's always a norm every year to see massive number of refusals on this thread especially towards September till the end of November. This has occasionally been taking place on this thread, so no one should be surprised about the sudden rejections from the High Commission of Canada in Nairobi. This piece of information isn't meant to discourage anyone but to prepare you mentally, physically and otherwise for the forthcoming challenges from Nairobi VO. It is in your capacity to continue doing your very best and investing proper resources to ensure your application is a success. My advice to those that were recently rejected is that they should brace up, its never to late to pick up your broken pieces and find a possible way of restrategizing by demonstrating that your situation has significantly changed to merit a Visa to study in Canada. The time for expression of happiness and testimonies will definitely come provided that you're are completely committed to the process. Best of luck to everyone in their respective TRV applications. It will end in praise. |
