illicit:Slides are actually of different grades. You can only feel the difference when you touch or put your leg in it. Also, the cost of a product these days is most dependent on where the buyer buys from. That said, I am not saying it is worth the 35k he said he bought or it is worth it. He does not even need to add the price except if he wanted to find out how much it is sold which isn't the case here. |
debostar:You should have a Nigerian bank account. If you do, contact your bank's customer service on the bankers confirmation. They should have a way to do and mail one to you. The you forward it to the CSCS through mail. When writing they will ask who you want it addressed to. Tell them to address it to CSCS. You can copy their address online and send along with it. |
TeamLeader:Yes it is different. The normal bank charge for SMS is for transaction alert. While this one here is for the USSD services. Even if you check your balance using USSD, you will be charged. That's why mobile app is better. |
reiddecuti:The account created for you is a non tradeable account. It is just for the certificate. You cannot use it to trade so you will have to open a new one if you want to trade or contact the broker used for you |
OJEEMAH:You are a real Arsenal fan stating facts without sentiment. Very true that Ozil problem started from outside the team based on his comment and as a business, China is very key to Arsenal. They will not stubbornly play him and loose the revenue coming from there. So it was totally beyond the Coach. For Auba, lots of people are just being sentimental. Amongst several disciplinary issues. He only, was first disciplined for coming late for the final training of next London Derby. I presume that's after series of cautioning behind the scene. Apart from the fact that he was among the oldest and most experienced players in the team. He is also the captain and should lead by example and even serve as a model for the young ones but no, he would not do that. Then they want blame the coach. |
Mbuhari2023:If you know the person and can vouch for him/her, why not? Who else can be a better referee for your office than you who knows the person personally and believe he will be an asset to the organisation. |
Sorry about your situation. It can happen to anybody no matter how vigilant. The only key to it is to suspect everybody and everything till you are convinced beyond reasonable doubt. Do not take any stranger as normal person untill you know him/her very well and know he/she is trust worthy. Take the lesson in it and move on. However, before moving on you may have to go back to his Facebook page and check his pictures to see if the details (especially the picture) match the person that scammed you. You can then put up his image on all social media platforms with you story to guard other people against him and maybe other details about him will come up that may lead to his arrest. Thank God the harm is not more than this. |
RayRay06677:This is what my broker sent about it some days ago. Dear Afrinvestor, Thank you once again for choosing Afrinvest Securities Limited as your preferred broker on the MTNN Primary offer. I did not get the allocation advise. I contacted Greenwich through which I subscribed immediately I saw the message of his allocation notice and was told that it will be credited to our CSCS once the regulator approve it. They said it was successful for all retail investors sha. |
Boogiebee:For your younger brother, please just open a mutual fund account and put his own for him. For you, you are talking of business when you already have something doing that occupy you. You should be looking out for investment instead. Doing any business where you can devote your time to monitor it properly is more like opening the business for the benefit of another person. You too can also open a mutual fund account and put the money there first while contemplating on what to do. Mutual funds are done with Asset Management Arms of various investment houses. United Capital, Stanbic IBTC, Investment One, Arms, Afrinvest, Chapel Hill Denham etc... |
A referee is a person willing to testify in writing about the character or ability of someone, especially an applicant for a job. In doing that the person has to at least know you to be able to say something about you. Does your governor know you? If called upon, can her say something about you? Can he say something good about you? That's part of what you should consider before using him. If your employer decides to contact him before offering you a job. I just hope he will have something to say. |
gurunlocker:The perpetrators of these wicked acts saw a breeding ground and loophole then decided to take advantage of it. The Northern Governors try to create/build amenities most times but forget to work on the human development part. Lots of people give birth without even having a prior thought of how to cater for them. Thus, when the children comes they are left to fend for themselves under the guise of sending to learn how to recite the Qur'an. This aspect was neglected for a very long while. The result is what we are seeing today. |
UPDC Real Dev 15 landed quietly. |
Oga it will be better if you open a mutual fund account for him instead. You can just be doing the transfer from your salary account by yourself once your are paid. United Capital Asset management Limited/Investnow app. Stanbic IBTC Asset Management Limited or Investment One asset management. You can Checkout the 3 firm above or Google for more asset management in Niger Nigeria and choose any of their mutual fund you are down with. Fixed Deposit account no be am. |
eziokwunwoko:UCAP Fixed Income Fund is very okay. |
Akerewe:This is the correct one. Bond coupon payment is bi-annual ie paid twice yearly. So the total amount of the rate is divided by two and paid at 6 months interval. Your last coupon will come with your principal. Depending on when the bond commenced, that could be in either in February or August 2028. |
Phone repairs is troublesome especially if you don't have all the needed equipment. It also need you to constantly be updating yourself. Barbing need update too but it is easier to learn and less troublesome. Just go for it. |
aminulive:As it is customary with the Nigerian politics, election year is getting close again and politicians their and cronies have started campaign of columny against each other again. Let everyone tell the who they represent to come an tell the masses what he can do/intend to do. The masses will merge that with his track record and decide. |
We see some gentlemen and ladies come here quietly and drop picks, opinion and analysis without cajoling anyone to follow their advice or try to berate anyone for not accepting their views. We really appreciate them even though sometimes we say nothing or do not say enough. Once someone start trying to berate anyone for not taking his advice or accepting his views then to me it means that person has more stake in what s/he is trying to cajole you to do. It will benefit him/her more. I get sceptical of them and their aim. They try to convince you that some things are for your benefit when in fact they are actually the only one that will benefit from such. |
Biafran4life:NSE will resume tomorrow Tuesday 4/01/2022 like every other public organisation. |
slawormiir:That's Nigerians for you. You loathe them when they don't do their job but when they do there are not to be praised because it's their job. Footballers play football as their job and are praised when they do well. Sometimes they even get awards for it. Musicians too play/make music as their job. They get praised when they do well and sometimes get awards for it too. Why is it that Nigerian public officials only get called out when they don't do well but when they do well you guys do not like people praising them. Why? |
mickky22:Zenith Bank UCap & GTCo.. Going by their track records. Though GT just metamorphosed into a holding company not quite long and that particular corporate action could change behaviour. Make I leave people wey sabi to chuk mouth. |
The game was well played. It wasn't Arsenal's to win. If Martinelli had buried his last attempt before the penalty City would have gone to pass the ball instead. The had work and determination was there but mentally, the team hasn't arrived yet. Xhaka has no business holding the guy in box 18 whether he was diving or not. Though the Ref was kind of rash in his distribution of cards especially to Arsenal players (like his card to Saka and Gabriel's first card) which somehow affected the game, I think Arsenal players too should try and manage their temperament when winning in big games especially. Nothing wrong if they complain to their captain and allow him take issues up to the Ref instead of talking anyhow. In all it was a good fight between two top 4 teams. |
Thehilah4jesus:To me ooo, I feel you should be contacting the bank or asking other people that subscribed here if they have heard from the Issuing Houses they used. I don't think anyone has heard from any of the issuing houses or broker/agents yet. If successful, you will be contacted and certified/proof of investment forward to the email through which you communicated with them. Also, people around here will talk about it. |
emmanuelewumi:Okay, was thinking they could participate too as a broker. |
Pesuzok:This should be from the floor of the NSE right? I have used them for FGN Saving Bond but I once contacted them for a possibility of subscribing to an FGN reopening bond and they told me they are yet to start. |
This is a normal thing that you shouldn't allow to bother you. Lots of people want to cajole/blackmail their friends, relations and neighbours to buying what they sell even when those involved are not so comfortable. Personally, I feel those people should be more concerned at addressing the reason why people that are supposed to get things from them are going elsewhere to buy. Some of these reasons are: 1. Unnecessary inflation of prices which most times leads to not being able to sell fresh items early enough and as a result leads to... 2. Lack of fresh items / availability of expired items. 3. Gossiping instead of facing their business which is the main reason for them coming out, they would be discussing other people's business. Though, they sometimes succeed in hoodwinking some shy and indecisive people. However, so long as you are not going to depend on them when broke: collecting on credit to pay back when you have the money, then it is fine to just do what's best for yourself. Buy from where you feel comfortable. |
jedisco:You are not considering the prevailing Bond Market rates... MTN Nigeria issued a 10 year corporate not quite long, same with Dangote Cement and Lagos State Government. Their rates were all in the neighborhood of 12%. All these are to be considered in determining rates. Like I ask before and will still ask again does it mean that the experts of these companies and state government are not being prudent too..? These companies and sub-national Bonds are well rated and have not defaulted too. So the risks with them are relatively minimal. You should be looking at the inflation rate and devaluation and currency devaluation in the USA and China when using their bond rates as reference. |
emmanuelewumi:Yes, so I read. So I try to check their ratings, and track records. |
emmanuelewumi:Their tenors for all are 270. Though they had 180. They are Commercial Papers.. Someone even posted Mixta Africa CP here then for about 15% sef. I just drag leg... And no enough money for my hand then. If not I would have subscribed. |
emmanuelewumi:Coronation Merchant Bank was about 12.3% Valency Agro Nigeria Limited was about 13.7% DLM Capital Group Limited was about 13.09... |
emmanuelewumi:Not buying vitafoam from about N4 when it was being discussed in the NSEMPA. That's even before 2021 ooo... Na better money I for don gain. It's most because of the illiquid nature then that made me look away... Also I did not just concluded MTN PO even when many investment houses were sending me numerous messages about it. I wanted to ooo but had to change to wait and get later from NSE. Also I could not subscribe to the MTN 10 year Cooperate Bond because my account then send no reach minimum required subscription... I also couldn't subscribe to the Mixta Africa CP advertised here. The rate seem to be the among the CPs I came across this year. I had to delve into alternatives to TB this year as it became glaring that rates are not going to get to double digits soon. I did about 3 CP with rates from 12.2% to 13.7%. As I no get power and money for real estate. I just start to invest small small. 2022 na preelection year. I am assuming that people will start dumping some of their shares because of the uncertainty that comes with the election. Na to try begin get some. |
