Slides are actually of different grades. You can only feel the difference when you touch or put your leg in it. Also, the cost of a product these days is most dependent on where the buyer buys from.

That said, I am not saying it is worth the 35k he said he bought or it is worth it. He does not even need to add the price except if he wanted to find out how much it is sold which isn't the case here.

Hello people, please how can I get bankers confirmation addressed to CSCS as I do not live in Nigeria.
I need this as part of documents to transfer my shares from cashcraft as requested by investment one
You should have a Nigerian bank account. If you do, contact your bank's customer service on the bankers confirmation. They should have a way to do and mail one to you. The you forward it to the CSCS through mail.

When writing they will ask who you want it addressed to. Tell them to address it to CSCS. You can copy their address online and send along with it.

Am even Wondering if the mtn ussd charge is different from the normal bank charges
Yes it is different. The normal bank charge for SMS is for transaction alert. While this one here is for the USSD services. Even if you check your balance using USSD, you will be charged. That's why mobile app is better.

SportsRe: My Problem Was Only With Arteta – Aubameyang Opens Up On Arsenal Exit by freeman67: 7:03am On Feb 04, 2022
OJEEMAH:
My brother, this had absolutely nothing to do with being British.

E no relate to Ozil situation.

His involvement in China's treatment of Uighur Muslims was the major cause of Ozil's problem.

Do you realize, no TV station in China showed Arsenal game that week cos of Ozil??

After that one, Ozil no gree take paycut.

I am happy he refused to take paycut cos Kroenke na very greedy man wey no deserve pity.

Back to Aubameyang,

was Arteta not the same person that granted him permission to go bring his mom to the UK for treatment?

If your boss give you permission and you no resume on the agreed date, you no suppose call to explain things??

Or at least, when he got back, he should have gone to see his coach or give him a call before resuming training the next morning.

Baba just resume training as if nothing dey pop.

And not like he was a first time offender......

That wasn't the first neither was it even the second time, Auba had done that twice but the coach just dey overlook am.

Not like he was even playing well at the time.

Aubameyang constant display of indiscipline nai cause their problem and as the captain, lead by example.

Ever since the niqqa was offered £350k per week, he became unserious.

Guardiola no bench and even sell Joe Hart??
You are a real Arsenal fan stating facts without sentiment.

Very true that Ozil problem started from outside the team based on his comment and as a business, China is very key to Arsenal. They will not stubbornly play him and loose the revenue coming from there. So it was totally beyond the Coach.

For Auba, lots of people are just being sentimental. Amongst several disciplinary issues. He only, was first disciplined for coming late for the final training of next London Derby. I presume that's after series of cautioning behind the scene.

Apart from the fact that he was among the oldest and most experienced players in the team. He is also the captain and should lead by example and even serve as a model for the young ones but no, he would not do that.

Then they want blame the coach.

RomanceRe: What A Guy Did To Me At Iwo Road Ibadan, A Bitter Experience. by freeman67: 10:34am On Jan 28, 2022
Sorry about your situation. It can happen to anybody no matter how vigilant. The only key to it is to suspect everybody and everything till you are convinced beyond reasonable doubt. Do not take any stranger as normal person untill you know him/her very well and know he/she is trust worthy. Take the lesson in it and move on.

However, before moving on you may have to go back to his Facebook page and check his pictures to see if the details (especially the picture) match the person that scammed you. You can then put up his image on all social media platforms with you story to guard other people against him and maybe other details about him will come up that may lead to his arrest.

Thank God the harm is not more than this.

Boogiebee:
Hello Nairalanders,

So straight to the point. Please I need your advice about two things.

1. I just got my inheritance and I got cash of 8M and there's this popular belief of people squandering their inheritance,I don't want that to be my portion so which business can I invest it into. For context, I currently have a job and I'm not ready to quit so please put that into consideration.

2. My younger brother is still a student so he has asked me to save his portion of 6M in bank until he graduates but I don't think that's a good idea. I would rather he put it in some form of secure investment that will be yielding something. Kindly give us suggestions.

May the soul of my beloved Father continue to rest in peace. Amen
For your younger brother, please just open a mutual fund account and put his own for him.

For you, you are talking of business when you already have something doing that occupy you. You should be looking out for investment instead. Doing any business where you can devote your time to monitor it properly is more like opening the business for the benefit of another person.

You too can also open a mutual fund account and put the money there first while contemplating on what to do. Mutual funds are done with Asset Management Arms of various investment houses. United Capital, Stanbic IBTC, Investment One, Arms, Afrinvest, Chapel Hill Denham etc...
Jobs/VacanciesRe: What Is The Implication Of Using The Governor Of My State As A REFEREE? by freeman67: 6:54pm On Jan 19, 2022
A referee is a person willing to testify in writing about the character or ability of someone, especially an applicant for a job.

In doing that the person has to at least know you to be able to say something about you.

Does your governor know you?
If called upon, can her say something about you?
Can he say something good about you?

That's part of what you should consider before using him. If your employer decides to contact him before offering you a job. I just hope he will have something to say.

Can't we just have a peaceful nation?
The perpetrators of these wicked acts saw a breeding ground and loophole then decided to take advantage of it. The Northern Governors try to create/build amenities most times but forget to work on the human development part. Lots of people give birth without even having a prior thought of how to cater for them. Thus, when the children comes they are left to fend for themselves under the guise of sending to learn how to recite the Qur'an. This aspect was neglected for a very long while. The result is what we are seeing today.

Pls I learnt above that the principal repayment will take place in February 2028 but I also got this below table from my broker stating that there is still going to be a payment feb+august 2028 then principal repayment also. Which one is correct between the two pls?
This is the correct one. Bond coupon payment is bi-annual ie paid twice yearly. So the total amount of the rate is divided by two and paid at 6 months interval. Your last coupon will come with your principal. Depending on when the bond commenced, that could be in either in February or August 2028.

As it is customary with the Nigerian politics, election year is getting close again and politicians their and cronies have started campaign of columny against each other again. Let everyone tell the who they represent to come an tell the masses what he can do/intend to do. The masses will merge that with his track record and decide.

We see some gentlemen and ladies come here quietly and drop picks, opinion and analysis without cajoling anyone to follow their advice or try to berate anyone for not accepting their views. We really appreciate them even though sometimes we say nothing or do not say enough.

Once someone start trying to berate anyone for not taking his advice or accepting his views then to me it means that person has more stake in what s/he is trying to cajole you to do. It will benefit him/her more. I get sceptical of them and their aim. They try to convince you that some things are for your benefit when in fact they are actually the only one that will benefit from such.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Vs Manchester City (1 - 2) On 1st January 2021 by freeman67:
The game was well played. It wasn't Arsenal's to win. If Martinelli had buried his last attempt before the penalty City would have gone to pass the ball instead.

The had work and determination was there but mentally, the team hasn't arrived yet. Xhaka has no business holding the guy in box 18 whether he was diving or not.

Though the Ref was kind of rash in his distribution of cards especially to Arsenal players (like his card to Saka and Gabriel's first card) which somehow affected the game, I think Arsenal players too should try and manage their temperament when winning in big games especially. Nothing wrong if they complain to their captain and allow him take issues up to the Ref instead of talking anyhow.

In all it was a good fight between two top 4 teams.

To me ooo, I feel you should be contacting the bank or asking other people that subscribed here if they have heard from the Issuing Houses they used. I don't think anyone has heard from any of the issuing houses or broker/agents yet. If successful, you will be contacted and certified/proof of investment forward to the email through which you communicated with them. Also, people around here will talk about it.

I buy through Morgan capital.

I check the debt market for any appealing FGN bond and send an email to Morgan capital stating the bond name and quantity I want them to buy for me.

While searching for fgn bond, take note of the tenor remaining and the premium you might be paying to buy it. You need to do some calculations to know what exactly you will be getting.

I sometimes buy bonds at premium and use a year's coupon to offset that.
This should be from the floor of the NSE right? I have used them for FGN Saving Bond but I once contacted them for a possibility of subscribing to an FGN reopening bond and they told me they are yet to start.
FamilyRe: How Do I Handle My Neighbor Talking Ill About Me? by freeman67: 1:26pm On Dec 28, 2021
This is a normal thing that you shouldn't allow to bother you. Lots of people want to cajole/blackmail their friends, relations and neighbours to buying what they sell even when those involved are not so comfortable. Personally, I feel those people should be more concerned at addressing the reason why people that are supposed to get things from them are going elsewhere to buy.

Some of these reasons are:
1. Unnecessary inflation of prices which most times leads to not being able to sell fresh items early enough and as a result leads to...

2. Lack of fresh items / availability of expired items.

3. Gossiping instead of facing their business which is the main reason for them coming out, they would be discussing other people's business.

Though, they sometimes succeed in hoodwinking some shy and indecisive people. However, so long as you are not going to depend on them when broke: collecting on credit to pay back when you have the money, then it is fine to just do what's best for yourself. Buy from where you feel comfortable.

Government borrowing rates are very different from individual rates.

More than 10% for government bonds is extremely high. Very few countries offer that- and such countries all have one thing in common. They have about the worst performing currencies.

Business folks may get higher rates of returns but it comes with added risks. You don't expect PFAs to put folks pensions in recharge card business. The reason I didn't partake in the last bond was cos I had used free funds I had to buy grains backs weeks. A bag of maize I bought for 17.5k then now sells for 25k. That's over 40% in about 2 months and prices may still rise before the rains. But then, it doesn't come with the safety a government backed bond gives
You are not considering the prevailing Bond Market rates... MTN Nigeria issued a 10 year corporate not quite long, same with Dangote Cement and Lagos State Government. Their rates were all in the neighborhood of 12%. All these are to be considered in determining rates. Like I ask before and will still ask again does it mean that the experts of these companies and state government are not being prudent too..? These companies and sub-national Bonds are well rated and have not defaulted too. So the risks with them are relatively minimal.

You should be looking at the inflation rate and devaluation and currency devaluation in the USA and China when using their bond rates as reference.
