Glad some men are actually expressing their genuine feelings of being hurt.Breakups depend on what level both of you were with each other,if you liked him/her more than he/she liked you then we know who will be nursing the breakup for a while.
Early this year I met a guy who was secretly "out to revenge" to any lady who came his way due to a broken engagement that occurred 5 years ago.if he had taken his time to heal from the heartbreak with his ex- fiancee instead of jumping from one r/ship to the next,he would not be hurting so bad 5 years later sad

RomanceRe: Your Boyfriend Is Not Your Atm by Freesia(f): 10:05pm On Oct 23, 2011
If a man hasn't paid your bride price yet you shouldn't be demanding for money.Let him give it to you if he wants to.
A boyfriend will "assist" (because it's really not his duty) his girl where he feels the need, and if he doesn't give you cash, remind yourself you're in the r/ship with him because of who he is and NOT what he has (if it's a genuine r/ship)
Couples should make a point of depositing more into each others lives, if not one of you will always be overdrawn

LOL. I remember the first time I got waxed down there. She told me not to worry that after a few strips that the nerves will be dead and I will not feel it anymore. As if that would make it less painful. My dear each and every time I go it still feels like cruel and unusual punishment.
Rotfl, these beauticians and their persuasive talk, every time I get the underarms done it feels like the very first time!
It must be an extremely painful process for those men who wax their chests especially if they have a big broad chest  Arrrrrrghhhh !!

lol . . .are you sure they are not Being Intimate there cheesy cheesy grin grin grin grin
Zignor don't be naughty you just had to think in that direction eh? I believe I can always differentiate the cries of pain and pleasure and that was a woman who was in pain.
Imagine someone plucking your hairs from their roots! try with one or two hairs on your beard/sideburns and then imagine hot wax

Princek12:
Unlike, for example, Black American or Brazilian girls, no wonder many (if not most) Naija girls lack sex appeal when they dress. I guess you all are thinking about impressing or competing with other women when you dress up. If you had men in mind, maybe many of y'all will know how to dress sexy. An average Black American girl knows how to wear them "get em girl" type dresses. Naija girl will be wearing kwashiokor dresses trying to impress her girl, as if it is girls that will sleep with you.

As to those men who are trying to holla at you while you are not all dressed up and with your plain harir, maybe they are desperados or maybe you are still looking good despite not all that make up and with your plain hair. It goes to show that all that weave and Indonesian hair is unnecessary sometimes. Anyway, you all Naija girls are living in a whole nother planet.
Princek12 Please keep it mellow we just want to talk about what we do in the name of beauty  smiley Come on tell us a little bit of what you have seen your sisters or female cousins do to look pweety

I wore this pair of almost 6 inch heels the other day. I am not sure what possesed me since I knew that I would bein and out of the car all day. I figured with the 2 inch platform in front I will be fine. Chai. I suffered that day o. It was worthit sha. I had a belt that matched it perfectly and I said nothing will stop me from making shakara today
I know that feeling Sis,Lawd knows what I was thinking with my 5 inch heels walking all over the place the other day!! 6 inch heels another story once in a blue moon I wear them!! My fav line  when wearing them is me telling whomever I'm with " Can I borrow your hand I need support"
I remember back wen i was in JS 2, then my hair was still natural and very strong. Nobody wanted to make my hair, it was so tough combs wud break in it. So then, i only could plait thread. And even at that, i'll go to d woman making my hair, sit down b4 we start loosing d old hair i'm carrying. D point being, minimal breeze shud touch my hair, or hmmmm,  LOL.

Well, one fateful day, my senior sis told me to go to her friends place to make my hair. Her idoma friend is an expert in making hair, especially 'rubber thread'.

That's how i and our last born trekked all d way to their house. As soon as she held d first one, i realised i cudn't bend my head forward again. By d time she finished d hair, i was dragging my neck like tolotolo.

Suffice it to say that i and my little were walking home crying. She was crying becos i was crying. Lol. When we got home, my dad (of blessed memory) alarmed asked wat was going on. I now pointed to my hair, dt it was seriously hurting me. My dad ordered me to loose everything, him and my lil sis helping me. My scalp was hurting so bad dt i cudnt comb d hair afterwards, neither cud i make another one. I had to skip school 4 lyk 3 days, cos my scalp was still tender, hair uncombed and afro. Hehehe.

So dt's my pain for beauty story!
Awwww Cherry baby I can only imagine what was going through your daddy's head when he realised you were crying because of rubber thread and I thought I have tough hair!!

I was recently thinking to my self about how ladies go through a whole lot in the name of beauty, and I'm not saying this because of my last situation when I had my braids done, the things were so tight that I could hardly feel my forehead  smiley

I mean from a tender age we're having stuff done to our bodies, did I hear somebody say ear piercing, some of us might have been too young to remember but when I got my second piercing on my ears at about 20 years lipsrsealed

As we grow older we're trying to grow hair on our heads but trying very hard to get rid of the hair in other places. My first eyebrow threading experience yeeeeeeee !! then I attempted waxing the underarms and the legs,Kai !! I don't know who send me there  sef ??  not sure which one is more painful??,threading or waxing  undecided

After many years of contemplating,I recently had the courage to go for a Brazilian,I called this place and booked an appointment.I had only been at this beauty parlour for about 5 minutes when I heard this loud yell or was it a scream from  a lady in one of the rooms  huh I looked at my surroundings to confirm I was not in the hospital emergency and  I decided to slowly walk out!! fear dey catch me o

Anyway ladies, let's have a laugh and share our funny/self inflicted beauty experiences, those of you who have had those Asians torturing your body in the name of  Thai massage or even had the fish chiropody done, let's hear you too

kponkish:
yea!! it'ws d best thing to do,  but it does feel very bad 2 be d one dumped,  dont u guys tink so?
There are some cases when a guy or gal  might suddenly start behaving all weird, this could sometimes mean they want to break up but they can't bring themselves to say it vocally so they use their actions as a way to communicate with you.
You end up doing the breaking up for them, only for them to act surprised or even shocked so they plead friendship after the r/ship lol

They say the Dumper has it easier than the dumpee but if the r/ship meant a lot to you as the dumper then you will be hurting as much as the dumpee

Decision! Decision! Decision! If you think where you are 2day cannot help you get to your dream destination  tomorrow, then  it'll be  better to close your eyes today and face th temporary challenge and shame and enjoy tomorrow than refusing to make the decision 2day and live with regrets the rest of your life. Relationship demands SINCERITY.
I hear you,I like your approach to things,Thanks again

The moment you realize in your heart that your heart cannot take the heat any longer. Be the FIRST to call it quits. The first always have the lesser pain.

Afterall, its better to be the dumper and not the dumpee  wink

TravelRe: Uk About To Axe Permanent Residence Permit For Legal Immigrants by Freesia(f): 11:59pm On Oct 05, 2011
Somebody enlighten me on this one could all these be recession related? Is the UK trying to save the funds they "have" or could they be controlling the mass immigration and think giving a time scale will discourage skilled workers from accepting the job offers due to the criteria or overstaying once their contracts are over?

FamilyRe: Husband Having Affairs And Not Admitting It But Wants To Continue His Marriage by Freesia(f): 9:12pm On Oct 02, 2011
I guess some men replicate what they've seen from their own backgrounds.I guess the saying "you can't miss what you don't know" comes to mind in this case.
Unfortunately if all a man knows from early childhood is seeing his wonderful mother been cheated on or battered then it so happens he will in most cases practice what he believes to be the "norm".
If he has seen his father respect, cherish and love his mother then he will do the same with whichever lady he settles down with.
Our upbringing plays a big role in how we treat others around us,whether we like it or not, sometimes even subconsciously.
For those men who have grown up in loving homes and end up treating their wives or the women in their lives like dirt,You should really know better.
someone has mentioned their father died alone despite his flamboyant lifestyle, that's really sad considering he would have enjoyed seeing his kids grow up and make him proud.
@ Poster I hope your husband realizes all this before it's too late,Women who knowingly date married men need deliverance. You will always be the second best. These ladies need to realise their worth and not settle to come second because that's what it ends up to be !!
