ManirBK:Yam is expensive everywhere in the world. Very soon, we go stop to the chop yam and just start eating wild cocoyam |
Wealthoptulent:What sort of rice are you buying that it ends up being mashy |
Dogalmighty17:It will be laundered through a chain of several legit businesses; some kept as hard currency and others as cryptocurrencies. |
shortgun:Sounds like you are blaming Tinubu for the wicked things done by citizens including: 1. armed robbery, kidnapping 2. 419 3. Illegal drug trade 4. Fake drugs and drinks You forget that people have a choice to not do the above. |
@OP Please see a doctor. Dont diagnose yourself and seek treatment online. |
Kobojunkieee:What alternative would you propose ? Not sure its sustainable for government to provide free tuition |
It's concerning how people will witness something genuinely barbaric and still support it for whatever reason |
Sorry about your hearing. You said you were giving 2 drugs but you have posted only one. This medication should not affect your hearing. Do you have the picture of the other drug u were given for flu? |
As usual, things in Nigeria never make sense. The same banks dont have cash for customers but somehow POS operators can provide cash. |
Let us learn to be empathetic. |
Such letters should not be leaked. Whoever leaked the letter should go to prison. |
Lifts generally have fail safe mechanisms in place to prevent such accidents. This needs to be thoroughly investigated. Really sad that following the accident occurring inside the hospital, the health system is not developed enough to have saved her life. |
They should invest the money in education or healthcare rather than as palliatives if they dont know what to use it for |
okosodo:The Nigerian equivalent of the CIA is the NIA and not DSS. |
psucc:Aspartame is used worldwide and not just in Nigeria. |
Issuing road worthiness for cars when the roads are not even worthy of being roads. gbaskiboy: |
Wish him speedy recovery but would be nice for African leaders to develop their healthcare so nobody needs to go abroad. What of the poor man that doesnt have money to travel abroad? |
Sounds very unlikely a medical student would be allowed to do a C-section especially in a government hospital. Maybe they meant a resident doctor - but again this should have been done under supervision of a consultant. Sadly, someone has lost her life as a result of poor care provided. |
So the government is spending USD1billion essentially to build a rail road to a country that the total value of exports to was USD138million in 2020 (of which electricity export accounted for 36% of this figure)? If the rail road cannot pay for itself (repay the loan), whats the point of such construction? The lack of critical thought that goes into decision making is the reason our leaders continue to impoverish the African continent. |
Please pay a doctor/dermatologist for professional advice. |
meobizy:Its like you dont know how Nigerian Police is. They will arrest the person/people doing CPR and charge them to court. It will take grace of God before they release you. |
The police are not well trained to handle rifles; we should replace them with non-lethal tasers. We also need to deploy technology and get policemen off the streets. ANPR cameras plus CCTV can easily track stolen cars; ensure cars on the road have valid registration and insurance. These things are not rocket science. Only in Nigeria, bad shit happens and steps are not taken to ensure it doesnt happen again |
But why do people need large volumes of cash? The idea behind is to encourage people to transact without cash as well as make all large volume transactions traceable. These people are not fighting for poor people who dont even have that kind of money to be withdrawing everyday. This policy will make it difficult to throw cash around during elections and CBN should stand their ground. Legislators should look into other areas to truly make the life if poor people easier. |
The naira redesign is a welcomed development. The only thing that needs to happen is to ban third party physical cash deposits (ie. you can only deposit cash into your own account). In addition, ban physical cash withdrawal beyond a certain amount to ensure all large volume purchases can be traced electronically. |
Zonefree:Because commissioning is a big thing in Nigeria and everything must be commissioned..transformers, buildings, etc. |
Tax is a major way governments in developed countries fund the economy. I don't understand why a government minister is deciding to fight this. Does he prefer the government begging China or some foreign government for loan? The UK generated £584.5billion in 2020/21 from taxes alone. |
My message is simple. If you are crying because of hunger If you are crying because of unemployment If you are crying because of insecurity If you are crying because of inflation If you are tired of poor state of healthcare in Nigeria If you are tired of voting politicians that are are completely clueless about how economies work… If you are tired because nothing works in Nigeria, then do the following: 1. Wake up 2. Get a PVC 3. Don't vote with sentiment 4. Don’t vote because he/she is your tribes man 5. Don’t be lazy and don’t vote based on stories/rhetorics of what praise-singers are saying about any candidate 6. Do your own research as a responsible adult 7. Vote because you want good schools 8. Vote because you want hospitals that will work 9. Vote because you want 24/7 electricity 10. Vote because you want pipe borne water that is drinkable 11. Vote because you want to sleep with 2 eyes closed 12. Vote because you want to enter bus and have rest of mind you will reach your destination and not be kidnapped 14. Vote because you want roads that your car can be driven on 15. Vote because you are tired of living in a country that people call shit hole Finally, when politicians say I will make Nigeria great again. Ask them one simple question ‘how’? If you don’t vote with sense, then collect NGN5000, bag of garri and shut up. Stop complaining and enjoy the country because you and the politician you are complaining about are the same. |
Advise to @OP: Go to a hospital and see licensed healthcare professional. If the situation gets worse after following online advice, u only have yourself to blame. |
This is a really sad development. Even poor people are no longer safe at the hands of kidnappers. Karma will deal with every one of them if they actually collect this ransom after inflicting such pains on this man. |
So many doctors on this thread with different advice. Which will @OP now follow? |
Whats the point of all the drama? She cheated…move on and find a better person. Moral lesson: Loyal people are hard to find…girlfriend or not. |
tragergeorge:Why is the average person programmed to look for job after graduation? Anyway,if they spent half the time on learning how to code or some other IT skill they wouldn’t need to do Yahoo |
