Dehonourable: Am new on d forum but honestly I found it vry educatn. My questn are: are there any engineering unis in uk dat charge tuitn fee £9,000 for Msc Eng. Secondly, wot's d duration for student visa?

Is it possible to get a student visa if you have more than enough money in your account but its not been there for 28 days&above?
Can one even be considered a visa?
I'm thinking NO!, kuku wait for September entry?
But my quandry is I've paid a deposit(3500 out of 8000 pounds)&the only way to reclaim it is having a visa refusal
I'm thinking maybe I should apply,get a refusal,get my money back and look to Canada for Sept admission instead of the UK which offers very few opportunities for students who are looking to emigrate after their studies
Hope the refusal wont be a sort of negative checkmark in later applications to other countries?
Why go spend all that money in UK&not be able to relocate unlike Canada which would warmly (the place cold sha O) recieve you?

The various US schools website are requesting for a Credit Card payment option and its not accepting my debit card. It also wont allow me to send in my application unless i pay first.

1. My mum is my sponsor and am getting her statement of account with enough money to cover my remaining fees and maintenance. I also have a scanned copy of her passport bio data page. My question now is, the letter of consent should it be hand written by her or typed and signed by her

4. I read in the first part of this thread that BHC don't accept laminated documents am afraid most of my certificates are laminated. I hope there won't be a problem

5. There was a mistake in the spelling of my first name in my NECO certificate but I have an affidavit from the federal High court to correct that mistake. I hope am good to go

dove30: My nairalander and just wise please I would like to know what you guys feel on this one.I just got a call form british high commision abuja to come for an interview on monday at the deputy high commision in lagos.I applieed for a tier 4 student visa last two weeks to go and finish my top up year of a course which I already startedand gotten the foundation degree certificate in london.I am nervous when it comes to interviews. I just don't know why dem one see my face!!!! Any ideas on cases like this? And pleas am I to take any document along has I was not told to bring along any document
