ihatesycophant: Karma is a bitch. So you forgot so soon how Wike used Federal might to destabilised Rivers Government and created the cult he's fighting to quench today. I pray you let go your bias mind before it made you sin against your maker. You forgot how his plane was grounded? You forgot how the road leading to the government House was blocked by police? You forgot how they used 5 House Assembly members to impeached a speaker? You forgot how Wike was inside the INEC office on the day of election while collation was on going? You forgot how Wike sent soldiers to manned stadium because he was told the stadium was still under construction and cannot be used? You forgot when a retired Mbu Joseph said, he lion tamed a tiger of Rivers State? As at today Wike has not faced half of what Ameachi went through in his hand.
So with all your facts against Wike, why did the supreme court not rule against him because you guys know all, you have sinned against your maker and you are condemned
Groovenaija360: Former governor of Rivers state now Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, has described Governor of the State, Nyesom Wike as “cry cry governor.”
Amaechi said during his administration as Governor, the then President molested and harassed him with soldiers and police, yet he did not complain.
Amaechi insisted that the All Progressives Congress, APC is not ready to rig elections in the state, adding that President Buhari will never allow such.
The Minister said the coming governorship and other elections in the state will be fair and free while accusing Wike of masterminding election mal-practices during the last government of Goodluck Jonathan.
He said this when he met members of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Eleme kingdom, Rivers State.
“Fight for your right. I fought for my right (during the Jonathan’s administration) when the President was molesting and harassing me, I got up, mobilized Rivers People and we fought for our right.
“We would not have won Rivers governorship because they rigged everywhere, wrote results and brought army and police to chase us away.
“Now there will be voting. They shouting and crying ‘police o, army o; INEC o just because they are scared of what they did to us (APC).
“President Buhari will not allow that happen. He will not allow any police man to stop anyone from voting.
“That person is there shouting ‘INEC, police’ while he was inside INEC building the day of election and they were writing results and we didn’t complain. Now he is shouting ‘INEC o, police o’ because he is afraid.
“But we’ll follow the law; we shall vote on that day and get our people to vote for us. If we win, we thank God.
“If he wins, we thank God. It will be free and fair. Let him stop crying because its too early. When a man starts crying, it means he is afraid.
“Did I cry about President Goodluck Jonathan? I didn’t cry, I came out to fight for my right. But this man is crying because of ordinary one police CSP every day.
“What do you call him, ‘cry cry governor.’ He is a governor with one agenda, namely ‘Amaechi.’ He sleeps and wakes he dreams of Amaechi. He has no adviser. He sees me in his dreams. You know I’m a Catholic, there are powers they gave to us to fly at night to go and meet them.”
Amaechi you're a federal minister but I hardly hear comment on National issues, all your concern is Wike and who becomes who in Rivers state.
Why can't you grow up for once and allow Wike do his work while you do yours. Today it's you tomorrow it will be Dakuku, una no dey tire.
Was that not the same way you cried too, for church you cried, baby dedication you cried, birthday parties you cried, naming ceremony you cried, everywhere you go crying was your hobby and is still your hobby, as far as I am concern you are still crying.
Guy Focus, be a man and grow up. Because you're behaving like a toddler.
SecondEva: you missed the point, defender of idiots!
Which point? Must you comment on all issues when you don't know anything, if you asked to come write down your statement to back up your claim can you do it. This is case involving someone, all the authorities decide if it was murder or he died from natural cause.
All you do from morning till night is to run your mouth, don't worry very soon one of you guys would be brought in questioning.
DeadRat: There are certain things guys do here i do not find funny... kirajustice: Cardinal Anthony Okogie, Archbishop Emeritus of the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos has verbally knifed the presiding pastor of the Redeemed Christian church of God, Enoch Adeboye over his plan to have as many church branches as possible.
PoliticsNGR gathered that Okogie criticized Adeboye's move saying that the branches were 'mere business centres' as there was nothing Godly as having churches in close proximity. He told New telegraph;
"In order to bring us together and to get sanity back into this country, the fear of God must be number one. Nigerians of today don’t care a hoot about God.For example, I heard that one of my colleagues, (Pastor Enoch) Adeboye, said that he would love to build churches everywhere so as to make it easy for worshipers to walk to them. But for me, that is a useless statement. How can you say you will build churches everywhere?
What kind of churches are you talking about? Look at traffic in Lagos for example, and those who are pastors are traders and a good number of them are businessmen. Such churches in most cases are more like business houses! Look at the number of churches springing up in Lagos. If the Muslims start building mosques like that, does it show that Nigeria is a religious country?
Every day we hear of killings and other things that we were not hearing before. We can’t even walk on the streets freely. You have to be watching yourself left, right and centre to know who the man coming behind you is. It wasn’t like that before. Churches must ensure that there is fear of God.And I’m just telling you that those churches that he is talking about are just business centres." http://politicsngr.com/2017/10/08/useless-statement-cardinal-okogie-fires-adeboye-church-expansion/ cc: lalasticlala, mynd44
Cardinal why are you so bitter? Has he come to ask you for money, why don't you just mind your ministry and allow us build our church, that is the man's vision, ok tell your vision ? From what I see your own vision is to fight men of God.
SecondEva: That senseless arrogant money-miss-road, doesn't ever know the right thing to do. Your friend died in your car you didn't see the need to meet his family?
You dey the car ? Abi na you drive? You guys should close your mouth and all the authorities so their job, or make una join police to investigate the matter.
Panicked passengers forced their way out of their rush hour train after a man read out Bible passages in the carriage. The train was just outside Wimbledon at around 8.30am, when the man started reading out phrases such as ‘death is not the end’.
Commuters became scared, and started trying to get out of the carriage as quickly as possible. As the passengers forced open the doors and climbed frantically onto the tracks, the rail power lines were cut. The train was travelling from Shepperton to Waterloo, one of London’s busiest commuter lines.
Cops, transport police here to meet him, all very calm, police shake his hand, take him to chat. Some people offer to be witness for him
Ian, who was on the train, tweeted that the man’s Bible-reading caused a ‘crush’ and a ‘commotion’. He said that someone asked the man to stop speaking ‘as he was scaring people’, after which ‘the guy stopped and stood there with his head down’.
Other passengers praised a guard, who apparently dealt with the situation with ‘compassion, restraint and bravery’. A Network Rail spokesman said: ‘Passengers self-evacuated off a train and on to the tracks at Wimbledon this morning after a passenger incident. ‘British Transport Police are investigating and there were no injuries to passengers or staff.
‘This has caused significant delays to services in and out of Waterloo that will continue for the rest of the morning. ‘A signal failure at Waterloo also caused some earlier disruption to trains – this was resolved by 0815.
We apologise for delays to journeys this morning and ask passengers to please check before they travel.’ A British Transport Police spokesperson told Metro.co.uk: ‘We were called at 8.31am today to Wimbledon after reports of a disturbance on a train to Waterloo. Passengers evacuated themselves onto the tracks. ‘BTP attended and are carrying out enquiries at present. No one was injured and no arrests have been made.’
Why did they not set up a panel to look into patience Jonathan issues, rather than harrassing her, someone that was indicted, yet he has not been invited for questioning by EFCC, not being taken to court and we say we are fighting corruption.
Magu, go and arrest Babachir now, you don't need the President to ask or give you orders to that.
seunmsg: Well, Michelle Obama did not steal America's resources so, Trump has no reason to go after her. In your own case, millions of dollars that you can't legitimately account for had been traced to your account. So you see, both of you are in different situations and hence, you can't be left alone until justice is fully done.
Is there any proof that she stole? Which ministry was she in charge of ? Why don't we do the needful, Babachir is there nothing is happening to him, EFCC has not invited him for questioning.
We want this country to move on, we want this country to progress but yet we take sides on issues that wouldn't hold in court, the Govt harrassing people from other political parties, that is wrong.
Patience never held any political office yet the Govt will not let her be, those that stole that are still serving as minister are left alone, nobody will take this Govt serious at all.
gare: He should focus on one career, either he wants to be a successful model or a successful lawyer, both can't go together.
I wonder why you guys feel I am a hater for offering a simple advice, or thinking otherwise, if anybody mention me again on this matter again then you are the hater not me, shame to bad people looking for others to fail so they laugh
thesuave10: You're talking like a village person. So to look good now means he's considering being a model. ? Why are people daft like this na?
That is why many of you end up being nothing because when people talk you read stupid meanings to them, it's very obvious he wants to that way of modelling, because if not why have you not taken your own picture with your fake senators and display for us to see, village People
Differential: Yes, they can. He can model on the side while working as a Lawyer. Besides, it's not your place to tell him how to live his life. I'm sure he's an intelligent man and knows what he's doing. Don't hate.
Oluwaseyi00: This happened yesterday evening in a club around Mandalay bay U.S.A A gun man opened fire and killed 50 people and several others injured.
It didn't happen in a club, it was an open air country music concert, close to the Mandalay hotel, the shooter was actually in shooting from the 35th floor of the hotel, not Club, that is why the casualty is much.
ChangeIsCostant: Meet the Nigerian lawyer who has become the Internet's sweetheart due to much attention he receives from ladies online. The new attorney identified as Chukwuma Caesar is based in Broward County in Florida and is getting a lot of attention with the internet hashtag #LawyerBae

The ladies can't handle him being this fine and having lawyer credentials at the same time!!!
LawyerBae’s name is listed as Caesar Chukwuma on his social media pages, though it’s far more likely his first name is actually Jeffrey.
Chukwuma was admitted into the Florida Bar in November 2016 and likely works at the 17th Judicial Circuit Court with State Attorney Michael Satz in Broward County.
Chukwuma has 113,000 followers on Instagram and 79,000 people retweeted his viral Twitter photo with the caption “Walking into the courtroom.”
UK Government should go to hell, it's now they know he is there citizens, when he was threatening to kill and behead they never said anything, hypocrites, they cannot do anything who ever that wants to jubilate of this doesn't know anything. We expected the UK to have called him to order but they kept quiet, for them to be asking this questions now I may even conclude they are the once sponsoring him or IPOB.
As a matter of fact the Nigeria government should indicate the UK Government for that kind of questions, what role did they play that NK recieved small sense, now he led people to their death and we here clapping for him, how many people did you hear that die in Catalan?
And for the American this is Nigeria and not America, American laws are not applicable here so they can worship IPOB, but as far as Nigeria law is concern IPOB are terrorists
ruggedized1: Contrary to the guidelines of the Debt Management Office on subnational borrowing, 23 states of the federation exceeded their borrowing limits in 2015, the Fiscal Responsibility Commission has said.
In a report on the states and indebtedness, the FRC said Lagos, Kaduna, Cross River, Gombe, Ekiti, Edo, Ondo and Imo states had borrowed more than 50 per cent of their annual statutory allocations by 2015.
Other states in the same boat are Zamfara, Adamawa, Oyo, Abia, Ogun, Taraba, Kebbi, Enugu, Bauchi, Nasarawa, Kano, Benue, Kwara, Katsina and Sokoto.
The FRC added that when total revenue (gross statutory allocation plus Internally Generated Revenue) was used as the yardstick for measuring the level of indebtedness of the states, a total of 20 states borrowed more than their total revenues in 2015.
The report read in part, “In the light of the DMO’s Guidelines on Debt Management Framework, particularly as it pertains to debt sustainability, the debt to income ratio of states should not exceed 50 per cent of the statutory revenue for the preceding 12 months.
“In effect, state governments have a subsisting, though not in line with FRA, 2007, loan policy, which requires states governments not to owe more than 50 per cent of their statutory revenue for the previous 12 months.
“The Federal Government, on the other hand, is expected not to accumulate debt more than 40 per cent of the national Gross Domestic Product. Bearing this in mind, 23 states exceeded the threshold of 50 per cent of their gross/net statutory allocations during the year 2015.
“However, out of the 23 states, only 20 states exceeded the threshold of 50 per cent of their total revenue – gross statutory allocation plus Internally Generated Revenue.”
The report also stated, “Lagos exceeded the threshold of 50 per cent of its gross statutory allocation by well over 300 per cent; Kaduna, Cross River, Gombe, Ekiti, Edo, Ondo, Oyo, Abia and Ogun exceeded the 50 per cent of their gross statutory allocations by well over 50 per cent but less than 100 per cent.
“Imo, Zamfara, Adamawa, Taraba, Kebbi, Enugu, Bauchi, Nasarawa, Kano, Benue, Kwara, Katsina, and Sokoto states exceeded the 50 per cent of their gross statutory allocations by less than 50 per cent.
“On the basis of total revenue rather than gross statutory allocation, 20 states exceeded the threshold of 50 per cent. Of the 23 states that exceeded the threshold of their gross/net statutory allocations, Kwara, Katsina and Sokoto states did not exceed the 50 per cent threshold of their consolidated debt to total revenue.
“From 2012 to 2015, five states consistently exceeded the threshold of 50 per cent of their gross statutory allocations. The states are Kaduna, Lagos, Ogun, Cross River and Osun.”
kirajustice: The Nigerian senate has ordered for the immediate destruction of firearms illegally imported into the country. This development is coming up shortly after the Nigerian customs has recorded seizures of over 2000 pump action rifles illegally imported into Nigeria from Turkey.
In a statement obtained by PoliticsNGR, the Senate president, Bukola Saraki stated that a bill to increase fines for illegally imported firearms, including firearms without valid licenses has passed a second reading in the Senate.
He stated; "The 8th Senate passed the Second Reading of the Bill to amend the Fire Arms Act to provide for the increase of fines and the destruction of all firearms that are illegally imported into the country or that are in the possession of individuals that do not have valid licenses.
With the recent reports of the Nigerian Customs Service finding 4 illegal shipments of firearms in the last few weeks, this Bill is pertinent, because, with its eventual passage, we will be strengthening the existing Fire Arms Act and making our nation safer.
Apart from the fines and other punitive measures that are imposed against individuals, we will also be looking at the laws that are currently in place to ensure that shipping agents and other companies that are involved in the importation of illegal firearms into the nation are held liable.
Now that the Bill has been sent to the Committee on Judiciary and Legal Matters for further work, we will be having a public hearing on this Bill, to seek the support of experts, security agencies and the general public in coming up with a thorough legislative strategy to combat the proliferation of weapons in our country and our communities."
Then what are you? Come and talk, why can't you just have a little pity for you lips, you're a very wicked man, pity this lips small, I beg you, LIPPY
Opinionated: A Nigerian journalist has written a petition to the International Criminal Court (ICC) over human rights abuses, torture and extra-judicial killing perpetrated by members of the Nigeria Army during the recent invasion of a community in the South-East region.
In a letter dated September 24, 2017 addressed to the Chief Prosecutor of the court in The Hague, Fatou Bensouda and addressed to the Information and Evidence Unit, Mr. Ahaoma Kanu, a multiple award winning journalist, called on the court to intervene and stop the unlawful deployment of soldiers by the Federal Government of Nigeria led by President Muhammadu Buhari to civilian communities in Abia State and other South-East region of Nigeria which has led to the torture, molestation, killings and severe abuse of the human rights of these civilians by officers of the Nigeria Army.”
The petition, made available to media, with the subject “PETITION AGAINST THE DEPLOYMENT OF MILITARY PERSONNEL TO THE SOUTH-EAST OF NIGERIA, TORTURE, KILLINGS, HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSES PERPETRATED BY THE NIGERIA ARMY, THE CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF, MAJOR-GENERAL TUKUR BURATAI AND THE QUIT NOTICE GIVEN TO IGBOS IN THE NORTHERN STATES BY THE AREWA YOUTH CONSULTATIVE FORUM BACKED BY THE SPOKESPERSON OF THE NORTHERN ELDERS FORUM, PROF. ANGO ABDULLAHI,’ condemned the recent decision by the army to Initiate ‘Operation Python Dance’ in the South-East region which led to invasion of the home of the leader of the civil rights group, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leading to the killing of some members of the group as well as other members of his community.
Kanu decried the decision by the Federal Government to initiate an attack on a civilian community in a manner that may have opened the door to genocide as has been exhibited by soldiers of the Nigeria Army in times past.
“The Nigeria Army has a very cruel history of gross human rights abuses, torture, brutal killings of citizens of her country over the years; a condemnable characteristic which have escalated since the election of Gen. Muhammadu Buhari as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” he said.
The CNN/Multichoice African Journalist award winner enumerated the many occasions members of the Nigeria Army had attacked and killed Nigeria citizens since Gen. Buratai took over as the Chief of Army Staff describing the army under his leadership as having been turned into “a killing machine of a mass order.”
“According to an investigation by the Amnesty International (AI) which analyzed 87 videos, 122 photographs and 146 eye witness accounts, members of the Nigeria security agencies comprising of the army and the police embarked on a chilling campaign of extrajudicial executions which resulted in the death of over 150 deaths of members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in the South-East region of the country with 60 people shoot in a space of two days,” he said.
“In the report entitled “NIGERIA: ‘BULLETS WERE RAINING EVERYWHERE’: DEADLY REPRESSION OF PRO-BIAFRA ACTIVISTS, Amnesty Iinternational (AI) documents the killing orchestrated by members of the Nigeria security agencies. For instance, according to the report, pro-Biafra activists were killed on 30 May 2016, during events to mark the 49th anniversary of the declaration of the Republic of Biafra, when an estimated 1,000-plus IPOB members and supporters gathered for a rally in Onitsha, Anambra state. The night before the rally, a joint security force task force raided homes and a church where IPOB members were sleeping. Several members of the IPOB were shot in several locations, predominantly in Nkpor, the venue for the gathering, and in Asaba.”
Kanu who is an activist and volunteer for some charities decried the attitude of the Federal Government under President Muhammadu Buhari who he said has shown that he is not only a sectional leader but once who has shown absolute disdain and disenchantment for Igbos from the South-East with the way he has handled security issues challenges in the country.
“There have been incidents of people from the South-South, South-East, and South-West being attacked by Fulani-herdsmen, identified in the Global Terrorism Index as the fourth most deadly terrorist group in the world after Boko Haram, ISIS and Al-Shabab. They move into communities unleashing mayhem with automatic rifles with which they sack communities but such criminals and killers are neither arrested nor prosecuted. The Federal Government does not deem it fit to deploy the army to confront these perennial terrorists neither has their activities being seriously checked because they are said to have people in the Buhari government giving them support. The Federal Government led by President Buhati pays little or no attention to this group of terror merchants who have killed over 2000 persons in the North Central, South East and South West of Nigeria,” he said.
Kanu called on the ICC to compel the Federal Government of Nigeria to adequately protect the Igbos in the North as the deadline to the Quit notice given to them to leave the region draws near with escalating news of plans by northern youths to go on with the planned attack.
“On the 19th of August 2017, President Buhari returned back from a 103 days medical trip and some few days later, the Arewa Youths withdrew the quit notice. We are hearing reports of plans to go on with the attack on the Igbos in Northern Nigeria come October 1. The Federal Government has not seriously done anything to adequately protect the Igbos in the North even as the deadline approaches.”
Kanu included in the petition a memory stick which he said contains exclusive videos, pictures and documents which he tendered to the Information and Evidence Unit of the court for their perusal.
Who guy really do have so much to write a letter that will be trashed as soon as it get to Hague. Do you think this people don't see NK video threatening to Kill and burn down Nigeria, you think they would tolerate half of all the rubbish NK is doing here in Nigeria.
Stop wasting your time nothing will happen, if NK was in Europe or America he would have been cooling off in jail, you don't make sure utterances and still expect to roaming the streets as a free man, when he is tired of hiding he would come out, that was how Ojukwu led people to war and ran away, now NK has people people to death now he is hiding.
Make una taken una time, make the fire of God no consume una.
paiz: I think Mbaka should face his ministry and leave politics
But if symptoms persist
Send him Straight to ivory coast
Now you want him to face his ministry and leave politics, why did you not tell him to do that in 2014-2015, for your information he will not face his ministry, let him prophecy.
frankiekinase: The Managing Director of Tinapa Business and Resort, Mr. Ayiba Ayiba, has dismissed an online report that alleged the monorail linking Tinapa with Calabar International Convention Centre had been paralysed due to stolen armoured cable by hoodlums.
According to him, the monorail is in good condition, but not moving because there are no passengers.
“The monorail is in perfect condition; nothing has happened to it but presently there is no patronage. Whenever we have passengers, we call the engineers to fix necessary things. So, the rumour making the rounds is baseless and untrue,” he said.
Mr. Ayiba also lamented the epileptic power and water supply that has slowed down activities in the world-class business hub in Calabar, Cross River State...
The monorail should have been located in Calabar main town, poor biz ideas, even if Tinapa needs one that should come when the place is fully operational and it's really needed
vital: you are really breathing from your ANUS.you can say this and that today.but let me assure you.U see IPOB and other biafra organisation. Its already in the igbos blood and mind.get it into ur mucus skull.1967-1970 will never be forgotten, ipob massacre, just downloaded in their brain.
Stop fooling yourself, which blood, blood that can be cleansed with Money, there is nothing in your blood, don't allow the greed of a few cause problems for others, now look at those that lost their lives, when you collect such kind of money at the expense of other people's lives, then it is blood money, I understand you guys with blood money is like bread and butter.
You guys should start using your brains critically. The fact that they make this claims is a huge indictment on the govt. and its warped intelligence community who could not identify a single sponsor of Boko-Haram and the Terrorist Herdsmen since the last 9 years and counting.
Unfortunately for them, the world has NOT considered the Indigenous People of Biafra as terrorists, and I think that they can NEVER do. - because these are not just a group, but an Indigenous People with LEGITIMATE CONCERNS.
If anything, this govt. is the one being perceived abroad as a terror and tyrannical regime. So, their noise in Nigeria is where it ends. Africa is the only place where they can oppress and kill innocent people for daring to assert their rights to self-determination. But the oppression and wanton killings cannot go on forever. If people keep quiet, stones will protest.
If only they knew how many millions of Easterners they alienate from Nigeria by adopting this rogue stance against the agitators. Many of us injustice-hating millions who have never identified with the movement is no longer finding the antics of the govt. funny.
A lot is wrong with it when the people recieving the money are killing policemen and burning down police stations and mosque, all that non violence is rubbish, there's is a lot of intimidations going within the east trying to force people to join them .
The fact that he NK doesn't have a strategic planning group to help him strategize well he will never make, I so Envy him whenever I see his rally, with that crowd and making IPOB a registered Party you're sure of winning every electoral Position in the southeast and then you ensure there is good governance and you being at the senate and House of representatives you can start your lobbying to see if other regions will support you to have your own country.
But when you resort to name calling, insulting and threatening to kill and begging for arms to fight, then you will never make it.
