What baffles me as I learnt, is why the Chosen people will go to the extent of arresting Linda and Pastor Rika. If they felt offended, shouldn't they allow God to fight for them? Did the Apostles fight for themselves when they were persecuted? Is it only the Lord's Chosen that was mentioned by Linda? I just hope churches will put their houses in order and heed the warnings. I will find it difficult to understand how the LASG will be willing to pay out more than 7 billion Naira for a 30 year concession agreement. If you are willing to pay out such huge sum of money for a 30 year agreement, what stopped you from constructing the road within the last 6 years of this administration. Who then will give account for all the toll money which are already collected . How can you make extra-budgetary allocations of more than 7 billion Naira for LCC when the road is not near completion? O God, intervene and give us God fearing leaders who will show accountability and hate nothing but corruption.

If the story is true, both Should repent if they've not. The pastor should confess to the wife and the church while the girl should also apologise to the pastor's wife and leave the church.

I'm happy with the zeal of so many innocent members of the church. Something happened that made me leave with my family. I prayed fervently and the revelations I got were not exciting. I listened to this testimony of Linda and was so touched and renewed my vow to serve God and make Heaven no matter the cost. I watched with my family...My conclusion is that from this video evidence, Linda is genuine!! Satan do not win souls into the kingdom of God, so if Linda's testimony is not genuine, how come souls are won for Christ?

Why do you read brainless meanings into activities that could promote the future of our children? The NUT were there and expressed support for the Governor. She said her kingdom sent her(Linda) to spread lies against Lazarus Muoka when the Chosen church is taking over the world. I find this confession of sister Joy quite convenient for Chosen church. If the revelation of Linda is false as the Chosen church says,then everything she said about the materialism of Winners and Redeemed Church,and the lack of love of the DLBC is also false.

It's unfortunate how we take eternal things for granted! If anyone has given you any message in the form of Linda's testimony, it's for you to do a soul searching of yourself. Many who will go to hell fire, are not going there deliberately, most are going there by DECEPTION. Deception by false teachers/pastors and deception from false testimonies. It is my desire that God will give us the grace to discern between the false and the truth lest we enter into the trap of the last days.

My counsel to Lord's chosen is simple. Move on and if Linda's testimony is false, God will fight for his church. The Church does not belong to Pastor Muoka (the church is the body of Christ and he'll always defend his true church from the attacks of satanic agents.

Gossipping Linda and her testimony could eventually lead to hatred and the use of malicious words which will ensnare your soul for hell. Therefore, like most seasoned men of God had done, be silent, don't comment on it but secretly commit your life and church to God. Let him fight for you.

I first heard the Story in 2005 and d veracity is now in doubt.

I didn't school in Ife but was surprised one late evening a coaster bus full of OAU students came to the house opposite where we lived to arrest two brothers who were accused of cultism and complicity in the shooting at Ife. The two guys got a tip off earlier and scaled the fence of their house but their parents were caught and dragged into the bus by the students. One of the two brothers (don't want to mention names) read Geology and the other was in engineering. Their parents were a bit connected and their father was luckily released by police men at the Lagos Toll gate that night. That was the last time, we ever saw those two guys. I know they didn't complete their education in Ife. I learnt later they were sent to the US by their parents(can't confirm this pls). Their names were published in the Punch newspaper by police as being wanted for questioning in the cult shooting at Ife. I had finished my BSC then at UNN and came home for my NYSC!!

I wish to add that the behaviour of the two brothers then, their licentious lifestyle and friends smacks of cultism. There's no way I could vouch for their innocence. When their names and pictures were published on the pages of the punch newspaper, no one on the entire street were surprised.

Alxmyr: I see some stark misinformation in Oshiomole's word. Maybe he was misquoted.

First, the National Assembly does not appropriate for states. And so Edo state cannot claim that monies passed by National Assembly for his state is held back by the FG.

Second, Oshiomole should have given more detail about what actually transpired and which fund was the FG withholding. I understand that many state cannot access UBEC fund, because the acts establishing UBEC required that states should give account of usage of previous funds released to them and as well as contribute their own quota to the fund. Most state have not done that.

Third, the FG has shown its reluctance to encourage state to continue borrowing domestically which often come at higher interest rates.

Lastly, statutory allocation is not appropriated by National Assembly, and most often if a state is owing some debt, such debt is often remove at source. Many state governors don't like that.

My point is that what Oshiomole churned out to the public is half information which basically was one-sided. He should have been more detail so as we know whose fault it is.

Quite unfortunate if you argue without understanding what statutory allocation means!!

An Osun State High Court sitting in Osogbo yesterday failed to deliver judgment in the case of rape instituted by the state against the Alowa of Ilowa in Obokun Local Government Area of the state, Oba Adebukola Alli following the monarch’s application for extension of time on the judgment.

The monarch was alleged to have raped an ex corps member, Miss Helen Okpara

Justice Oyejide Falola who presided over the court had fixed yesterday for final judgment on the case, but counsel to the monarch, Mr Taofeeq Tewogbade introduced a new twist into the over three-year-old case when he applied for extension of time for judgment to allow further defence on the case.

The court however fixed Tuesday, 2nd July, 2013 for ruling on the application brought by the counsel to the monarch.

In the application, Tewogbade stressed that the position of defence is very sacrosanct in law, and urged the court to allow his client put up more defence in the case before the court determines his fate, saying that he has discovered new issues to raise in his defence.

According to him, section 36 (CB) of the 1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria allows for proper defence in any case and provides for extension of time for judgment.

He noted that “there is the need for us to seek for extension of time on the case to allow us defend the case better. There are questions the plaintiff needs to answer. Was the lady in question a virgin before she claimed that she was raped? We also need to know if any exhibit has so far been presented by medical practitioners. These and other questions need to be answered.”

However, Mr. M O Adedokun, a Senior state counsel from the state Ministry of Justice who represented the Director of Public Prosecution insisted that the court should deliver its judgment on the matter, stressing that the case had gone through series of adjournment hence the need for the court dismiss the application for extension of time.

He recalled that the defense counsel had on the 15th of April, 2013 told the court that he needed no more time for defence when the court asked for his position on its decision to deliver judgment on June 4.

Adedokun who filed a counter affidavit stated that “the attitude of the defense counsel is an attempt to frustrate the judgment”, and urged the court to dismiss the application in the interest of justice and fairness.

However, Justice Falola ruled that the case be adjourned till 2nd July, 2013 for ruling on the application before the court.
