A referendum will put everyone where they choose to be

I'm not worried about Biafra or the Niger Delta or anywhere else but about the Yoruba nation

We have what it takes to be Africa's number one

My calculations show that if the Western region had remained independent and had continued to grow at the rate it was growing, it would have easily been Africa's biggest economy today

Even today, the states of the SW are growing faster than the states in other regions despite the limitations

If the EFCC can prove beyond any iota of doubt that he is guilty then I support his prosecution

We will not queue behind anyone who for any reason commits any crime because he is our kinsman or woman

Substation geeez, can't you read!

@topic,

Nice one.

A sub station is still not a power plant

If it is I'd like to know the power generation (not transmission or distribution) capacity of this station

There goes another ignorant one

Capableben: One thing that added to my depression about the lingering ASUU strike is the environmental/structural failure here in Jalingo, the state capital of TARABA.

I will be subsequently sharing photos from Jalingo market and the street whih leads to the market.......They re very appalling though.....

What you've described as appalling here is not as good as what some people have posted to describe as development in their states

Now I see why they keep invading the north against all odds

By the standards of the people that voted him, he's passed

By the standards of the people that voted BRF, Aregbesola and Amosun, they have passed too

It's a function of the the standards of the people

Properties / Fake Building Parts Responsibile For Building Collapse by geeez: 10:12pm On Nov 20, 2013
Just saw it on Channels TV

As for me, I don't compromise when I build

However, its high time government clamp down on all these thieving murderers that import fake and substandard building materials

We need to have a standards bureau for building items in Lagos that will go into these markets, arrest and prosecute these demons

They should be charged with attempted mass murder because that's what it is

Politics / Re: Should There Be Cross-migration If Nigeria Disintegrates? by geeez: 7:29pm On Nov 20, 2013
Much as I hate to comment on this, if Nigerians decide they want to live in separate countries, modalities will be worked out to ensure those who own properties and businesses in countries outside theirs retain their investments

I've invested heavily in Abuja and substantially in PHC and I believe I'm entitled to what I own even if my darling Yorubaland becomes an independent nation

However, it's also possible that those new nations may make laws that will affect me but unless the locals resort to arson, I'm not likely to lose out and thank God for insurance anyway

olabukola: why Edo? Did they flee towards that direction?

Edo has the death penalty

A good lawyer can easily argue that the law where they are caught be applied instead of the law which is applicable where the crime was committed

I pray they are caught in Edo State

pro01:

Geez! After all these long years of e-tomfoolery, your case seems to be getting worse. Your level of intelligence is evident in your comparison of a small peer-review forum election involving a mere 36 persons to a national election involving millions of people.

It is laughable how you clowns always try to be clever by half. Open secret ballot or not, since a dispute arose after the election, how else should the dispute be settled once and for all if not by Amaechi reaching out to the governors to identify the 19 that voted for him? In spite of the so-called open secret ballot, the 19 governors that purportedly voted for Amaechi would be bold enough to tell him afterwards that they voted for him, and they should also be bold enough to identify themselves in the open. This is a simple and quick way to end the imbroglio once and for all, instead of hiding behind the vacuous excuse of "open secret ballot"; why dilly-dally?

How dumb?

To start with the election was recorded so there's no basis for any controversy

Also adjudging from your silly assertion, are you saying INEC should bring in each and every voter at election tribunals to identify who they actually voted for?

You and everyone that liked your post are the reason why Nigeria's average IQ is less than 70
Politics / Re: LASTMA Officer On The Run After Being Caught Taking Bribe by geeez: 11:02am On Nov 20, 2013
The LASG's response shows a government committed to ridding its civil service of bandits

The LASTMA official knows the implication and I'm not surprised he had to abscond

I feel sorry for him and his family because he will be caught

No one will protest his arrest and eventual prosecution

Can this idiotic aide present to us all the voters that elected GEJ into office?
