mtisTheQubit: Kur17: Hmm, I see. I remember you guys putting up this same attitude in the past, about being so secretive about your ethnic divides and political affiliations. Really, but is this the norm in your country? Does that mean people do not discuss or argue politics in the public amongst yourselves? >>>>>>Nigerians talk about our politics and affiliations anywhere, anyhow and anytime. People even abuse and ridicule each other. You can see nairaland frontpage/political topics and how heated they get However, I think Nigerians are gradually loosing our freedom of speech under Buhari since the 'Hate speech law' was enacted. ****Our national and state elections are in 2 months time. I so so hope Buhari looses and Atiku wins. 3 Likes |

mtisTheQubit: Wow. Muafrika got married? Interesting. I wish her marital bliss. I hope to catch on the others later on. **** As for Nigeria, I think these things are very very real. I don't think fetish practices will ever go away from Nigeria or West Africa, cos even educated people are now buying into it. That relationship could be normal especially if you weren't the one involved. Obsession is real and it could be the factor at play there. 1 Like |

Kur17: OMG Yes CNN. I feel so embarrassed right now. You must be Kenyan I guess? >>>> Your country represents Africa well, at least better than Nigeria in many aspects, especially in beauty and aesthetics. I also truly loved the Giraffe manor where Giraffes dine with humans. Looks so beautiful and cool 1 Like

mtisTheQubit: Ok. I'd sure love to visit Nairobi soon. Well, East Africa as a whole. **** I tried so hard convincing my Mom to go to East Africa last year so I could go with her, but she decided to go to Israel again Pathetic. Perhaps when I make enough money on my own, I'll go wherever I want by myself. I followed Kenya's election last year... It was so tense. How was Raila Odinga pacified if I may ask? Cos the man seemed so hell bent on causing chaos in Kenya. >>>>Also, personally, do you think Kenyatta stole the people's mandate? Thanks. |

mtisTheQubit: Hahaha, funny. **** You know I love Tanzanians There used to be one other Tanzanian guy on this thread before. What about TayserMahiri? MtuMsuper, gallivant and Muafrika2? Oh and the Ethiopian peeps Ednited and Hati13 or so? By the way, do you really believe in the potency of love charms? Do things like this exist in Kenya? Do people practice it? I'd like to know about how Kenyans view witchcraft and diabolism. |

mtisTheQubit: Hello, I remember mtis, I guess this is your new moniker. **** I lgot bored of nairaland as a whole. Also, so much tribalism on this forum. I was slowly turning into a bigot. I just couldn't handle that, so I left. I recently watched Richard Quest in Kenya on Aljazeera. Nairobi looks very nice 4 Likes |

Kur17: And who could that someone be? >>>> Someone also hears of Nigeria and thinks of the largest economy in Africa, the country with the most educated community in the USA, one of the world's emerging markets, the largest black population and in Africa. To everyone according to what she chooses to see 1 Like 1 Share |

Caseless: Stop saying rubbish! Hausas are minorities/settlers all over the North-central. North-central and parts of North-east is home to minority tribes and Hausa land is confined to the North-west. |

obaaderemi: Just for correction, i don't think most middlebelters hold Hausa-fulanis in awe. Maybe in the past buh not now that we r doing better than them educationally n in some other aspects of well-being n civilization. **** If there r any middlebelters who still 'worship' Hausa-fulanis, perhaps it would be our muslim brethren. Most middlebelt christians dislike them. ~~~ What about your own yoruba muslim people? Some of them 'worship' hausa-fulanis too. I have been to Ilorin n seen the way they behave there. |

chkil0: Oh là là, merci pour l'explication **** I never knew that Algeria n Morocco had such a terrible relationship. That's sad cos u guys are supposed to be one people with a common history, ancestry, culture n language. Moroccans seem like desperate opportunists. I sincerely hope ECOWAS leaders tame them cos it's obvious that these Moroccans joined Ecowas with sinister motives. >>>> I am flattered at your compliments . mtis: Elle est très bien. Je suis désolée de vous avoir insulté. (i hope i am correct ) ****I was just joking with u previously , i am not so fluent in French buh i think i understand better than i write or speak the language. My mother speaks french perfectly cos she studied international relations n works with an embassy, so, she used to force us to learn the language while we were younger, due to her passion for the language. Then i hated it , buh i later came to love the language while in the university since i offered some french courses. I later started regretting, wishing i had given it more attention while i was younger. Lol. Peut-etre, Je vais essayer de perfectionner la langue à l'avenir. |

chkil0: I also want to ask you. Sometime last year i met with a Morrocan here in Nigeria, in Abuja, i think he n his team were on a diplomatic mission over here. ****First of all, what do you think about Morocco (a north african country) joining ECOWAS? What do other north african governments think? ~~~Seconly I also observed that he (the Moroccan) was quite dark skinned for a north african. He was as dark as i am n he told me that many Moroccans n Magrebis are quite as dark as i was. I was quite shocked, cos most north africans i saw on Tv were quite white, how true is this? Apart from the berbers to the far south of the north-african deserts, are there Moroccans or magreb people that are as dark as i am? >>>Well, here is a picture of me, so u can see my complexion n understand my point. 3 Likes
