Aside from the money. It's easy to bang a Nigerian girl or any girl once you look fit, clean and handsome. It works for me. Girls love seeing guys with fit and handsome body.
That's how it is globally. Women like fine men. You even get the sex without being charged, and God bless you if you can fvck well. Then, you get return matches and referrals. Thankfully, you're a fine man unlike the vast majority of Nigerian men.

The way to reduce hook up is for the government to arrest the men patronising prostitutes on the streets and the web.

The Government should also fine the men heavily like N500,000 or jail term term of 2 years.
Most men will prefer to pay a fine ,the govt generates good money from these money wasting men and it is utilised back into the society.
Why is that you people have this predeliction for ban, regulation, block etc? Huh? On TwitterNG, some say government should regulate house rents or food prices even when those policies have never worked elsewhere. So, I ask, where in the world do you know that the government arrested men for having sex? Desiring to have sex? Why should the government arrest a man because he has sexual urges (which is natural)?

This is the best deal the West can dream of. How good can they have it?

1. Have Ukraine sacrifices their bodies in a proxy war with their sworn enemy (Russia). A war where they control the tempo, intensity, test weapons, sell weapons, study Russian military capabilities etc.
I recalled your mention when I scanned through this article: https://www.economist.com/asia/2023/05/10/will-japan-fight The West's next aim will be to egg China into a war and have South Korea, Japan and maybe Phillippines fight China. The West will not confront China man-to-man. If they cannot confront an economically weak Russia, they won't touch China. And if South Korea and Japan are foolish enough to fight their cousins to soothe the white man, na dem sabi. The trio East Asian countries have very low birth rates, but China is more populous, die-hard, have more males etc. China kuku has more males than SKorea and Japan. So, if the latter like, make dem fight China. China will finish their men and export the remaining to take over Korean and Japanese women.

2. Rally and unite all their western allies. Strengthen NATO, bring in more members (Finland with Sweden loading), increase NATO budgets, and strengthen US grip in Europe.
Europe is US' baby, no be today. How the US deceives Europe to the extent she offers subsidies luring European industrial giants to set up factories in the US, or forcing European and South Korean companies not to sell to Chinese buyers is befuddling. Now, I understand that it is better to be an enemy of America than a friend. How can you encourage South Korean and Japanese chip materials producers not to sell to Chinese buyers when China constitutes at least a 1/3 of their revenues? As it is, Chinese companies are filling in the gaps left by the Koreans and Japanese. These companies will be poorer in the long run because a third of their revenues don go. Even one Japanese executive sounded the warning - China chip making ambitions cannot be stopped. So, is it not better to benefit profitably from their expansion rather than trying to do the impossible of stopping it?

The same US and so-called experts are saying Germany is getting too close to China. For instance, Mercedes-Benz CEO said it is impossible to cut-off China. Pragmatic man because almost half of MB's sales come from Greater China alone. But so-called experts, especially the Anglophones, want MB to cut-off China. If MB cut-off China, where else would they sell their expensive cars? To think that MB has been increasing prices, and the Chinese continue to buy. Na Africa MB wan sell 2023 E/S Class?

3. Impose an unprecedented amount of sanctions no nations have ever received on Russia, and cut them off the global financial market, while gambling on Russia's internal destruction and balkanization due to internal hardship.
This is the reason Russia MUST win or else, slave trading will return. If this can be done to Russia, it means same can be applied to anyone else. Russia has to fight to win for the betterment of people in the Global South. I believe she will win, but she needs support from her allies just as Ukraine gets hers from the west.

5. Kill as much Slavic people as possible. Even if Russia wins in Ukraine, Slavic population as a whole will reduce, especially when Russia is so heavily underpopulated. Russia needs people.
While true, Western population has been flat over the years. Most of the births are from non-native Europeans. In general, Europeans aren't birthing many children as previously.

6. Seize Russia's foreign asset. A shopping 200 something billion dollars. In an instant. It's gone. Russia will not get that money back. That's the spoilage of war.

The question now is, does what Russiia gets in return worth the price they've paid? If you ask me, the answer is yes. I'm too tired to type. Will write about the winnings of Russia. For objective comparison.

Lorng
Yes. My response to number 3 also applies to number 3. Russia has to win, not just for herself but for the rest of the world's future generations.

China is very smart. I see them recolonizing Africa with “ Debt”
China is not recolonising Africa with debt. African countries are highly indebted to financial institutions in the West than China. Western countries offered South Africa $20BN to stop using coal, yet 70% of it is tied to debt. The West is trying to woo back African countries because they see what China has done - invest, open factories, contribute to infrastructure WITHOUT toppling any government, advocating for the introduction of laws which Africans don't like etc. China is not a hypocrite claiming mumbo-jumbo human rights, nor was China responsible for the butchering of Congolese in DRC and Namibians at the turn of the 20th century. China's deal with almost every country is: let's do business, and afterwards, we go our ways. African countries export more non-fossil goods to China than to the US. China is opening up its market for processed agricultural goods to African countries. Meanwhile, the US program AGOA is ending this year or next. No sign of renewal.

I am glad a growing number of young Africans have learnt to be pragmatic rather than dogmatic. Why should an African be concerned with the fight in Ukraine? Two Europeans are fighting, and some people are interested in it. How many Ukrainians have been bothered that people in Benue have been slaughtered on their farms ever since? I understand why the West supports Ukraine, their right to. But others equally have the right to be neutral or support Russia. After all, the UK supported the Apartheid regime in South Africa and placed sanctions on Zimbabwe,

She said yes, and I told her I don't smoke anything and there is no any reason that will make me to smoke. She laughed at me and then asked the type of beer, gin, wine etc I drink and I told her I don't smoke nor do I drink. She smiled and said "guy, I like you but you will be boring and I'm not planning to spend any moment of life with a boring man. Na where everything end be that.
You should thank your God. She is a honest person, and not what befits you. There are women who don't like smokers or men who drink too much. Equally, there are men who detest females who smoke a lot. The problem will come when you force yourself to date her.

1. If u smoke whichever type of smoke is irrelevant to dem. The belif is u can be imagined as a wild animal on bed.

2. If u drink u're equally nice a guy to them as similar shit applies.

3. Guys who don't smoke or drink have a lot of problems to deal with. The general believe is, they're too nagging and are too serious in fact too detail about everything.

So they naturally feels u won't be cool to hang around with and that u will be a womanizer cos they believe the third social vice will be ur take which most ladies dislike lately.

They maybe wrong though but they're some sense in it really it just sound funny.
Those girls are foolish beings. When you hobnob with foolish girls, that is the end result. The ladies I know detest smokers nd drunkards. They will cease to associate with you once they know you do any of them. But one I believe will stick around if you get money via illegitimate means. Just an info for you guys from an insider (as well as some Sub-Saharan African students I get along with in the university). Apparently the Ministry of Education of Japan (Monbukagakusho) is trying to increase African student quota in Japanese universities, perhaps as an effort to spread the soft power into the continent. I'd say African applicants are given a little bit more leeway to obtain the scholarship, provided one already has gotten an approval from a prospective supervisor/professor. For the procedures, required documents, and deadlines, you can check out the website of Embassy of Japan in Nigeria (I'm not gonna spoon-fed you guys, I'm busy and there is Google to help you out). The website is here btw https://www.jasso.go.jp/en/study_j/scholarships/__icsFiles/afieldfile/2019/04/17/scholarships_2019_e.pdf

On the other hand, they are decreasing 90% (perhaps even more) of post-graduate scholarships to Asian countries (especially other East and Southeast Asians) that it's almost impossible for them to get one now except if the applicant is truly exceptional or even a superhuman shocked. Basically the are abolishing scholarship for those folks. Till a few years ago they are the workhorses of many labs here (as graduate students), but due to this 'woes', many professors and principal investigators (PIs) are struggling to recruit new people. For example, my PI now has to put a couple of our projects on hold due to lack of new grad students. My friend's lab even got severely downsized and close to disbandment due to lack of manpower. Too bad they are sometimes don't know that they can recruit very good students from Africa but alas very few have connection to do so.

Now it's up to your effort because the next is the hardest part. Please read and study thoroughly some scientific journal articles that suits your academic background and try to come up with ideas. Be sure as well to check the professor's current projects in each lab's webpage (typically in top universities a lab/research group has a functioning and updated website) before doing so. You are also encouraged to check their relevant publications, which are often posted in the website too.

Afterwards, try to contact them in professional manner, that is, introduce yourself and give a brief academic background and explain your plan in the lab and Japan (as well as the research idea you conceive). You are needed to attach your CV/resume along with the first communication e-mail so that the professor can be ascertained that you are indeed willing to join the lab. Be patient to wait for the responses because they are super busy (sometimes up to a week). They only recruit very good (even though raw talents) students with strong grasp of respective field's concept so be very, very prepared. Upon convincing the professor that you are worthy to be the member, you'll subjected to entrance interview and test, which is just as rigorous and depends on down to the policy of the department the lab belongs to. Yes it's easy to get scholarship up to a point you earn trust from the prof but in the test they will try to weed out those who don't have the basic concepts. Some universities have low acceptance rate even for Master and PhD level entrance.

I know you Nigerians are very hard-working given being in conductive situation. Good Luck.
Exodora:

That was the post which gave me the confidence to apply. Before then, the aspect of travelling to Japan, write the entrance exam, returning to Nigeria and wait for the result deterred me. But you see that post? It triggered me. I applied, did research, had a notebook detailing the names of schools and professors' names etc. I called each professor's office by 9am Japanese time (1am Nigerian time) every week. I did every research. Maji just gave me assurances when I did not get an email. I never asked Maji to list schools or professors for me. I never asked him about the tuition fees. I did all the necessary research. So, it is your responsibility to do the same. In fact, all the African students I have met here did the same thing - they researched it by themselves. It includes Nigerians who are MEXT scholars, including a Nairalander.

There was no feeding bottle. Because to be honest, no one feeds you here. They expect you to know it from Day 1.

Glad I can finally hear from you.
I have a bachelor degree in German language and Germany has always been my idea country for a master program, but right now I am finding it difficult.[/quote]So, what program do you intend to study in Japan? German? Blood of Abasi Chineke. The advice I can offer is to come in as a research student (研究生) in a related field. Let's say the Faculty of Languages or social sciences blah blah blah. There will be less coursework than being a master's student. After six months, you can apply to the same department (preferably) as an aspiring master's student. Alternatively, you apply to language school (if you are below 30), and run it for two years. Then apply to universities to study Japanese. You are a Nigerian aka black person. It will be totally ridiculous to study German in Japan because the economic opportunities don't demand German speaking skills. In fact, better to study Chinese or Korean or Bahasa or Vietnamese than German. The folks who will demand German skills (obviously very few) will be German companies. And a black man, especially a black African, is the last person they will hire when there are countless biracial children who are Japanese and have a European parent.

Ah! German BSc wanting to study in Japan? Make una dey fear God na. In fact, in my school, the students on the campus, which houses faculty of foreign languages, I no see any black person. The black folks here are mainly in hard sciences or social sciences. Those in social sciences speak pretty good Japanese or know that they have to radically improve their Japanese before they graduate.

But then, Japan is the available opportunity for now. Would like to know about their education system and currency compared to Naira.
Please start reading from the post I quoted to the end. I have explained the education system for you. In summary, it is research-based rather than taught. Meaning you will always be in the lab more than you will be in the classroom. In fact, from your second year, nothing concerns you with classroom. As for the currency, please use Google.

It is your responsibility to search for schools, study their application process, tuition fees, available scholarships, their contact emails, phone numbers etc.

Child support didn't finish his money. A woman does not have the final decision on how much she wants as child support, the legal system does by putting into consideration the age/ages of the child/children, financial circumstances of both father and mother, health status of the child/ children etc.

I work in the children social care sector here in the UK, so if a Nigerian man thinks he can father a child here in the UK and be least bothered about his child's welfare as some men do in Nigeria and "heaven will not fall", I will see to it that he is dragged by the system to provide what is the due to the child.

If you don't like it, keep away from heterosexual sexual encounters or be well protected
The problem is that these people tend to be so irresponsible and cannot fit in in a structured system. It is even good sef, as those who eventually relocate are people who understand what it means to reside in a place where things work.
RomanceRe: How To Reduce Hook-ups In Nigeria by Gerrard59(op): 2:47pm On May 10, 2023
In Nigeria, the argument is that prostitution is illegal. But that applies only to Northern Nigeria, where Sharia is practiced (https://sabilaw.org/the-legality-of-prostitution-in-nigeria/). However, the same people who castigate hookups will never relocate to the North to live.

This brings me to the next solution: social engineering. If you want the women in your society to be chaste, it is your responsibility as the men in that society to insist on certain moral standards. It is why young ladies in the North do not openly practise hookup compared to the South. Even in the south, some regions are "morally" stricter than others. It is the men who set the standards. Recently on Facebook, in one of the states in the south, I read that husbands or older men sleep with secondary school girls who just finished WASSCE/SSCE. When you do so while your northern counterpart marries the same girl, you tell that girl in your society that she can charge for sex. Meanwhile, her contemporary in the north knows that for sex to happen, there has to be commitment aka marriage.

P.S. Sex is not free. You pay at a point.

Another is poverty. The poorer a society is, the greater the number of women engaging in hook-ups. Women are demisexual, but when push comes to shove, they resort to sex work. Because there is a demand. Patronising sex workers is cheaper in poor countries compared to rich nations. The common theme here (https://www.nairaland.com/7496716/what-exactly-does-one-enjoy) was that sex is cheap in Nigeria. But ask your paddies whether patronising sex workers in Canada is cheap, and hear/read their responses. The solution is to ensure your society becomes very prosperous. In return, your women will have fewer reasons to engage in hook-ups. Fewer reasons because even in prosperous societies, hook-ups still exists. Because, remember, sex is natural. There is a demand, and demand doesn’t exist in a vacuum. Unfortunately, Nigerian men have not been able to create a prosperous society (https://www.nairaland.com/6643241/nigerian-men-failed-women).

P.S. No prosperous country had women at the forefront of development.
RomanceHow To Reduce Hook-ups In Nigeria by Gerrard59(op): 2:38pm On May 10, 2023
Sequel to these threads (https://www.nairaland.com/7678352/hookup-culture-nigeria-bad-even/1#122971617; https://www.nairaland.com/7680544/what-caused-hookup-culture/5#123045490) where Nairalanders, mostly males, keep complaining about the rise of hookup in Nigeria. I thought it pertinent to outline solutions that will REDUCE, not stop the trend.

The demand for sex by men is rising and consistent. As long as men crave sex and women are the only suppliers, nothing can be done. For hookups to reduce, Nigerian men should reduce their insatiable quest to have sex with random women. It is like having a department where male lecturers don’t do engage in sex for grades, ladies who are open to such will be forced to read their books whether they like it or not. Men create the system and women integrate into it. To buttress this, when women who have been doing hook-up attain 30+ years, there is a declining demand for their services because sexual service is tied to age and how young a woman is. As a result, she is either forced to retire or accept lower fees. This is because her customers – all men – have either stopped patronising her or are offering less cash. The men control the system.

It is a biological fact (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/22552705/#:~:text=Sexual) for men to yearn for sex more than women. Women are literally the only people who can quench this thirst. Some will say it is because of greed, but c’mon! If you own something which is in high demand that is not regulated nor banned by the government, are you saying you won’t charge prices for it? Remember, this demand is consistent and persistent.

But errm, hook-up is the same with yahoo yahoo or drugs trading.

That is not true. Cybercrime, like the name implies, is a crime in almost every part of the world. Some governments legalise sex work and even offer health care services and tax them. But no government has legalised defrauding people online. This is because policymakers realise that sex is a natural phenomenon in which humans and animals indulge. You cannot outlaw people having sex. It is not possible. Even in conservative Dubai (https://www.economist.com/middle-east-and-africa/2023/01/05/women-in-the-middle-east-are-leading-a-revolt-against-prudish-men), women are going behind the corners to import intimacy gadgets. The government by law bans it, but does not arrest those who import it. But try importing guns into the country and see the government’s reaction. Dealing with hard drugs is not a natural concept for humans. It is acquired, so governments ban it or regulate it tightly compared to sex work.

For instance, in Geylang, Singapore, young women mostly from China engage in hookups under regulation from the Singaporean government. But if you transport drugs to Singapore, you get the death penalty, no ifs or buts. Japan has the second biggest porn industry globally, but you will be arrested, denied a lawyer for 21 days and detained or deported if you transport drugs into the country. The UAE restricted Nigerians’ entry, mostly men. The UAE would rather have Nigerian girls doing hookups in Dubai than her men committing cybercrime. There has not been a break-in by the Emirati police to arrest hookers compared to bursting cyber criminals.

So who u think his the one loosing?? U hv a flawed mentality...she is busy devaluing herself by allowing him knack her endlessly ....that's her value she is reducing.... men and women ain't the same ... a man can afford to spend endlessly on women as long as the money don't dry up, his status respect and influence will remain...but as long as a woman keeps on pilling body counts...she is toast .... u don't recover from that
The worst is that the relationship by the virtue of dating Paul is public. Which means everyone knows you dated a rich celebrity. I don't know why these girls don't understand the country they are in. But then, I recall Wizkid's first girlfriend don marry and even born pikin.

This life no get manual.

Classless, tasteless, immature boys thinking they are men! You're dating someone, you don't know she has kids? She trusts you enough to let you meet her kids and what happens? You display to them that you're still a boy....SHAME!

The entire bill would be less than $150, why the fuss? Just pay and let her know later that you ain't feeling her, why do the kids like that? SHAME!
If he was informed and bailed out, his fault. However, if he was not informed, he did the right thing. Why should he be responsible for another man's or even men's responsibility?

If he has money, he has the right to lampoon the woman. Why should a woman with three kids carry them going to a date? huh

I saw your email. Please read the above post and all other associated posts by him. Admission for April section has closed. Around April - May/June, the admissions process will begin for October entry, which is geared towards foreigners. It's your responsibility to look for universities. If you are short of cash, don't target the Kansai and Kanto regions. Strictly target national universities.

Visa assurance is almost guaranteed by the issuance of the possession of the COE (certificate of eligibility). Admission doesn't guarantee visa. The school isn't the immigration bureau. However, the school will apply for the COE on your behalf.
