You sef. Na only woman i de talk about? All the geopolitics, philosophy, self-development and how society works, you miss am?

Thanks sha. At all na him bad pass.
I was in the Reddit geopolitics section earlier this morning. I read some threads and even an article in NYT (link below) about how Russia is circumventing the sanctions and making friends with countries in other parts of the world. Truth is: outside the EU, AUS/NZ & North America, many countries are not interested in the war as they see it as a European/Oyibo affair, which it is. South Korea and Japan have no choice as both are vassal states and, most importantly, have issues with Russia (for the latter) and fear that a victorious Russia will embolden China (which both fear, especially the latter). Other than them, the average person in Africa, Middle East or South America and even South East Asia is not bothered. People are fed up with western arrogance, rightfully so, and I believe they wish Russia wins so that everyone becomes equal.

Few minutes ago, I read that the Russian economy has even outperformed the UK. The war is almost a year old, and Putin, I know, won't back down. This is the fight for his life, generation, dignity and country's future. I really wish he does not back down. After all, Russians were not the ones who enacted the slave trade, plundered DRC and massacred thousands of people in Namibia during the later 19th century.

Gerrard.59: for his posts on immigration related issues and a glimpse into Nigeria's future though the guy dey whiteknight sometimes sha.

My pleasure.

Funny enough, ten years ago, I was not knowledgeable on immigration affairs like I am present. I guess times have changed and so did my priorities. Regarding immigration, I would say Tensa20 is more knowledgeable than I am, I just tend to be more specific and realistic, especially on socioeconomic issues. E get some laws and policies of countries I did not know until he told me. Me, I am just ruthlessly focused on very few countries I am interested in.

As for white-knighting, I have written here about how modern feminism is a scam and I cannot be joined with a feminist. The same way I find their ideology to be illogical is how I find some of the Ndi alfa meil rhetoric. I have managed my parents' hospitality outfit, and I know what Nigerian men can do for sex once the money is available. The rants by Ndi alfa meils is because of poverty. Like I always say, I have never come across a financially comfortable man who bemoans sexual liberty in today's ladies. None whatsoever. Even the ones who are very pious and well-to-do have never lampooned the sexual freedom. Let those alfa meils get small change and see them pursuing anything in skirts. People that are hoping to make money so that they nack women? shocked The same lads that plan to spend nights in hotels fvcking rampantly immediately after they visit Nigeria from the abroad (have you not read/watched their lamentations after they japa'd?)?

When it comes to sex, I know Nigerian men too well. It is that insatiable demand that has made our women tax them very much and make a killing out of their vaginas. Those who cannot afford sexual intercourse consistently suddenly become alfa meils grin grin

If you Are an observant person reading all the posts here you will find out that some men here are incurable simps and weak fellows trying to use the redpill as a mask to cover up their insecurities , no matter how much they read about the redpill they’re not capable of grasping the real essence of knowing the redpill and aspects of female behavior, it’s sad some of you still want to bash and hate women with petty insults or arguments, that kind of behavior shows you are not getting a deep understanding of what the redpill is all about and you might never grasp it . THE REDPILL IS NOT ABOUT HATING OR BASHING WOMEN IT IS ABOUT UNDERSTANDING THEIR BEHAVIOR AND EFFECTIVELY USING YOUR KNOWLEDGE TO HANDLE AND DEAL WITH AND MANAGE THEM IN ALL SITUATIONS.[/b]

IF KNOWLEDGE OF THE REDPILL IS MAKING YOU HATE AND BASH WOMEN THEN YOU STILL HAVE SOME UNRESOLVED ISSUES YOU HAVE TO SETTLE WITH YOURSELF. I WOULD SUGGEST YOU SETTLE YOUR UNDERLYING ISSUES AND HATRED FOR WOMEN DUE TO PAST EXPERIENCES BEFORE CONSUMING THE REDPILL, IF AFTER CONSUMING THE REDPILL YOU STILL HATE WOMEN YOU ARE NOT READY FOR THE REAL WORLD
The vast majority of them are poor. Take it from me. Na poverty make Nigerian men dey do alfa meil.

ProgrammingRe: Most Of The Global Layoffs Have Been In Tech by Gerrard59(m): 4:35am On Jan 30, 2023
Iolo:
I think you mean to say generally most tech companies are over bloated, not that they can be run with only 10 employees.

There are a few reasons why companies like Google and Microsoft end up with 100k employees.

1. Keeping the lights on: A few employees can write the lines of code for the MVP product (for example, the very first version of Uber was written in a few days and used by Travis and his friends). Now as a business scales you need to add more layers to handle things that come up. Bug fixes, Infrastructure maintenance, Customer support all this can not be done by a few employees. Each of these tech companies can receive 1,000’s of support requests on a daily basis. Also, as the software or app gets used on a variety of platforms (think mobile, desktop each with different OS’s) the product needs to continuously adapt to the requirements of these platforms for optimum performance. You need specialists who understand these platforms and can bring out the best in your app on them.

2) Innovation: it’s not enough to build a product, at some point you need to think ahead otherwise your competitors will do so and best you (I.e. Apple and blackberry). Innovation falls in two brackets - ongoing product improvements based in customer feedback, product discovery and next Gen innovation where you come up with something out of the ordinary like ChatGPT. If you don’t have employees worrying new ideas, your business will die very soon.

3) Business operations: every business needs people who will run it. These aren’t engineers but think of roles like HR, Legal, Risk and Compliance and people managers who ensure you don’t run foul of ever changing regulations in countries around the world. Companies like Google and Meta keep getting fined millions of USD by the EU and other regulators around the world for one of the other. Now imagine they had no one focused on these areas. They would probably have been shut down or fined more heavily as ignorance isn’t a reason to violate a law or legal requirement.

4) Sales: this one is straight forward. You need a marketing org and sales org to get the $$$ coming in. Especially in a B2B setting.

5) Competitive edge: Companies have to keep hiring to keep the best professionals away from the competition. This is something they have to do to lock in talent. this is where you have a point as it can lead to bloated workforce, but some would argue that it is a business necessity as if you don’t have best talents working for you, you might as well not have a business.

There’s a couple more reason but I’ll stop here. I hope you get the gist.
Thank you for lecturing that man whose highest achievement has been sucking Tinubu's preek and swallowing his cum.

Yen yen yen run a global tech firm with 10 employees 🙄

What normal self respecting individual opens a thread like this and what normals elf respecting mod pushes this to front page.

U guys are killing Nairaland daily with this strategy. It isn't working .... Forget fake posts and start doing something else
Actually, creating "interesting threads" has always been a strategy by the Mods to attract readers and maintain the viewership of Nairaland. The best would be re-posting older topics (got to the FP) that were very interesting or older interesting topics that never graced FP.

Factory worker. It is a skilled or semi-skilled job. You learn or know how things work there and can be utilised in a different company, including multinational firms who recruit floor staff to man machines. What you should is: learn all you can learn while at the factory, ask all questions to know what's up, and keep an eye and ear for job ads and openings in newer factories. Also keep an eye on relevant exams for factory workers such as those relating to the City Guilds. You can always command higher pay based on the experience and knowledge obtained from your current job.

Riding an okada doing dispatch riding is not a skill nor can it be turned into a career.

You have limited idea on the subject matter and should do a research before defaming someone.

That you ran a Google lens search and Google's algorithm listed the images from this thread on the search results does not mean that she stole the pictures somewhere.

The OP runs a travel blog and had posted those pictures on her blog since last year. It's enough time for Google to display the images after a search. If I post my pictures here and you run a Google lens search, you'll find them littered all over the internet with links to my LinkedIn profile, newspapers and other platforms that I have featured. Some blogs republish someone's images online without written consent and credit.

The only way you can confirm that she stole the pictures is that you find a link to the same pictures which predates those in her blog. I doubt you did that.

For more than half a decade the OP has visited fine destinations across continents and has shared those moments with her thousands of followers.
If true, my bad. However, the onus is on her to defend herself in the light of "defamation". Keeping silent makes unsuspecting viewers/readers believe the images are not hers. She has a brand to protect, presumably.

OP, South Korea is a very beautiful country. I was there in 2019 for a lawyer's conference. Spent all my time in Seoul. Those guys are very advanced and organized. CCTV cameras at every train station and bus stop. I recommend that you visit the De-militerized zone (DMZ). It's one of the biggest tourist attractions in South Korea. Also, gangnam (the song) is named after the central business district. Nigeria is 30 years behind that country. It's not even funny.
Nigeria is at least a hundred years behind East Asians. Na South East Asians fit get that description. East Asians should be compared to Western Europeans and North Americans.

"A rich man living in a country with many poor people is also considered a poor man outside his country" - Peter Obi.

That you enjoy constant electricity does not mean the entire country's residents do. So because some people don't experience the atrocities of Fulani herdsmen, does that negate what those in Southern Kaduna, Plateau and Benue face daily? Until the vast majority of Nigerians experience 24-hours electricity, then we can say Nigerians know what constant electricity is. Or should then say because some people don't experience fuel scarcity, it means fuel scarcity does not exist in Nigeria?

“But education officials fear this will make the UK less attractive to foreign students, who pay far more than UK students for their courses and are a major source of income for universities.”

This is what will happen. UK will be the least favourite destination for international students and other countries will open their doors. I will see how they survive this move coupled with all the post-BREXIT issues

Suella will either be sacked or she will resign.
Other countries are available, but getting their visa is very difficult for the average Nigerian. The Czech Republic, Poland, and Austria are doing Nigerians yanga. Norway recently cancelled her free tuition for international students, Sweden got more than 90K applicants (more than 10% are Nigerians alone), Germany puts it explicitly on its Nigeria embassy's website that visa dates/appointments can take up to a year, Portugal and Mexico have closed their embassies in Nigeria, Switzerland is tough and should this rule be applied, Ireland would become very tough.

As for Suella, trust me, should this rule be applied, she will be rated very high within the party and amongst the supporters. It is the reason she was appointed. She is doing what is expected of her.

This has always been a topic in Travel section. It is not like it is the UK’s first time of pulling this stunt. I said it here that I would never understand why Nigerians in their late 30s and 40s would sell off everything, even pot, to move to the UK. It is okay when lower middle class do it, but not an established person. They almost ate me raw that day.
You have the last laugh. grin grin

But yeah, I don't understand the rationale for selling one's assets. It is unthinkable and is not worth doing. Rather, spend at least a year working for fresh funds than selling assets.

To get visa hard o. My dear friend even with a full funding has been kept waiting for more than two months. If it was the UK, I am sure he would have gotten the visa since last year. Before Covid, 8 out of 10 Nigerian student applicants were denied student's visas. Canada is perfect for post-school plans, but extremely unpredictable/unfriendly for issuance of visas.
EducationRe: Nigerian Students In UK, Others Risk Deportation by Gerrard59(m): 1:24am On Jan 26, 2023
She knows what she is doing. If you are an ardent reader of the Telegraph like I am or the DailyMail (two popular news outlets for Conservatives in the UK), you would read the anger they have for the present government for failing to, in their words, curb immigration as promised under BREXIT. The supporters want a drastic reduction of immigrants, and that is what this woman is hell-bent on. It is one of the reasons she is a favourite in the party compared to, say, the Chancellor of the Exchequer. At least, she can tell her constituents that she did her best to curb immigration to below 100K, but the Education ministry fought against the plans. She will be re-elected when the time comes. The Labour Party Kier has spoken against immigration sef

First, she said let's cancel dependants, but the Education Ministry disagreed. Then she came up with issuing visas to students admitted into Russell Group Universities, but the Education Ministry disagreed again. Then now this one. The Chinese, slightly less than the Indians in the UK, won't be affected as most return home after their studies and have the lowest student: dependent ratio. Indians, OTOH, would not be affected because Modi's government recently signed an immigration deal with the UK that would send nearly 3000 Indians to the UK annually. It just needs ratification from the Brit side to commence later this year. Also, this won't affect the top 50-university graduates' offer to enter the UK and look for jobs. Which Stanford grad go leave America to earn British Pounds? Rather, this new policy if implemented, will disproportionately affect Nigerians because we have the highest student: dependant ratio, attend lowly ranked universities and study courses with funny-looking names. The tech industry that does not discriminate based on the class of institution don get small wahala. And British employers, especially those who will/can sponsor visas are very class-centric, especially for foreign graduates.

Y'all better start looking for new places to japa to as it will be catastrophic if the new rule is applied retroactively.

Dude, you just did what my co-worker did. You twisted the narrative to insinuate I must be the problem and the one causing these men to actively step out on their vows and wives. What you did here is also similar to what folks do to victims of sexual assault and rape, they blame the victim and leave the rapist alone.

If you're familiar with my posts you would know that I am not a fan of indecent exposure in dressing. Secondly, a successful relationship with God matters to me more than marriage and kids do, because I want to hear Him say, well done, you can come on in, when my earthly life is over.

So, for that singular reason I am mindful of my speech, conduct and how I generally live. This is not a me problem, it is on them. The article validates my own experience, the fact that your flatmate hasn't had the same experience as mine, doesn't mean I am lying or the cause of other people's poor choices and bad behaviour.

Doesn't this contradict your point which I addressed above? I am a female woman, not a transgendered one. Beautifully created and well endowed (without meaning to sound arrogant) but I don't let that get to my head, neither do I flaunt my wares for public consumption.

I don't need to slap a man in public either to get my point across. The caliber of married men who have chased me exude too much confidence, decorum, fine boy-ness and masculinity from head to toes, for me to disrespect them like that. They are not from the streets, neither am I

To be honest, it's a rough path when you're going through the employment-based option. You have to be sound upstairs and I know some who have gone through that route. The marriage is an easier option that every Tom, Dick and Harry uses. I must also state that some students find genuine love, get married and become naturalized citizens.

I was impacted by the layoffs and worked with some very brilliant individuals. Many are from prestigious colleges in the states. Some will find another job and others will go home. It is what it is.
