Sirfizz:Try harder. Not funny. We all know GEJ is corruption personified. He cannot possibly order the arrest of the men he sent on assignment. Remember in the tape Obanikoro said something like "I am not here on a tea party. I am here on a special assignment from the president" |
Madam, from the picture of your car, I can see you are already in love mode. Can't wait for Feb 14. BTW the victim had a pair of trousers on. (s)he looked like a man to me |
Thank God |
Rechecking my PVC........ .........OK its intact. Nine days to vote GMB into ASO Rock The occupants of Aso Rock should be busy tackling serious issues affecting us as a nation. Aso Rock is not meant for people busy listening to Rock Music
|
olatayo1984:Best news today!! ![]() |
Obiagelli:The reason is not far fetched. It is probably because there is not enough money to be embezzled by adopting this model. Money that is not enough to buy a private jet ![]() |
There's a line I like so much in our national anthem: "THE LABOUR OF OUR HEROES PAST SHALL NEVER BE IN VAIN" You and your other late colleagues that made the ultimate sacrifice so we can have peace and sleep at night with two eyes closed in this country will not die in vain by the special grace of God. RIP |
berem:You dey mind them? But as usual they will fail - no be today their evil mechanisation don dey fail now. |
Wow. i didn't see this poll before. Now I am going to add 1 to the number of likes for GMB ![]() Op thanks for sharing and BTW you can also investigate my ip ![]() |
EmoBoy: berem:My friend won, my cousin's classmate won N20m, . Must everything GEJ be SCAMISH? What is so hard in campaigning with a supposedly laudable program? Oh BTW my step mother's half-cousin's boyfriend will win in the next edition. #GeneralMeansBusiness |
aguiyi:How will GEJ get out of Gombe? Will he not "arrive" at the airport after the rally or do you think he will use the fraudulent/caricature train? |
clint77ng:Bros, there is a lot difference between having a PhD and being a professor. |
I'll love to see the General take on the presidents on the issues challenging the country. I know GMB will demolish GEJ in any public debate. But for some reasons (may be just a hunch) I have come to trust the decisions of the handlers of APC. They have come this far, crossed so many scary hurdles and have made the right choice over 90% of the time. So even though I am a little disappointed that apc will not take part in the debate, I will just let this pass and wait for feBUHARI 14 when me and my family will do the right thing. |
lalasticlala:This is another fraud from Jonathanians. Mr etc not only failed to quote the the words written in section 131 (d) of the constitution, he also went ahead and inserted his own word/phrase into the constitution. I am wondering if this is not a criminal case. I did not see a requirement for candidates to show proofs of academic status in that section of the constitution. It is obvious that Mr etc is silly (going by the definition he gave at the beginning of the article) if he lacks the capacity to reason or the rudimentary intelligence required to understand simple paragraph written in english language. Except of course he has a different version of the constitution which I believe should be criminal case. |
tosin2013:Let me add one crucial one to the list. What will be the news going round and trending on social media if Buhari is the president and the private jet belonging to the sultan of sokoto is caught with $9m cash trying to buy weapons from Iranians/Syrians (just like the private jet of the CAN president was caught with $9m cash while trying buy weapons from Israelis) at a time we are in a deadly war with terrorists? Religious/ethnic bigotry blinds one to the action/inaction of one group while condemning another for doing the same thing - even if it is in good faith. |
Now there are two people (GMB and SODIQ) who should file a law suit against FFK. |
Boss13:Thanks Boss. But I didn't make any objection to support revenue through other means. What I said is that even with the low income, some things can still be done. I will definitely be tough to finance many capital projects. But how do we explain not being able to pay salaries in such a short time since the price of oil started plummeting. Also, I am not an economist, but you have to be careful with the extent of taxation of private companies. I believe private companies are setup to make profit. The last thing you want is to make business unprofitable to the extent that they start another round down-sizing. if not done with care, it may lead to increase the rate of unemployment in the country. I recall Obama giving loans to the automobile industry in the US during the global melt-down. I am tempted to say the companies got some tax relief too (though not sure). The idea of the loan is to enable the companies to keep producing and able to pay their staffs. The staffs will in turn spend their salaries on other products from other industries etc. Efficient taxation is good to backup the income but it is more important to plug the holes and wastages in the system. Boss13:My brother, these people are not clueless and I can assure you that they are thinking (but for their pockets mostly)! How many of the wastage go into unproductive infrastructures? If a significant amount of the money goes into such unproductive infrastructures, it will be visible. the simple fact is that the bulk of the income goes into individual pockets. When a significant amount of a country's income is cornered by some people, there can't be economic development no matter glorious the blueprint is. Sure it is very essential to a plan (I though that should be obvious - a no brainer) Boss13:No, it means they are supper corrupt. trust me these guys are not clueless! There is a certain world bank chief with phd in this team so you can't say they are not thinking and clueless! if they are building hotels and amusement parks and spending on other frivolities, we will see it and I will agree with you. But there are none of such unproductive infrastruture or at least not so many to be conscious of - except the billions allocated to NA and presidents food ![]() |
Tomoarika:After reading this rather long but truthful piece with such a great ending as highlighted above, I can only say the beautiful ones are here afterall. However, while I completely agree that APC should have done better at costing its promises, I tend to disagree a bit with Soludo concerning the economic theory by Osinbajo in which he (PYO) stated that the problem is not really availability of funds but that the problem is management. I must say I agree with PYO in because I believe Nigeria is not poor (the analogy by soludo of a man with N50000 income does not entirely fit). Even with reduced income from crude export as it presently, we can still get some basic things achieved. The big spanner in the wheel of Nigerias development is corruption. Even though there is no nation in the world that is corruption-free, I am yet to see a truly developed country that has institutionalized corruption as we have in Nigeria today. Plug as much holes as possible, and there is a high chance that the country's income can fund many fundamental projects. No matter how you diversify the economy, no matter the amount of resource control we arrive at, corruption will kill any gain we ought to derive from such efforts. You cannot talk of job creation, electricity, medicare etc where corruption is endemic. As far as I am concerned, economic development is important but unattainable if we leave corruption unchecked. How do we talk about economic development when like Soludo pointed out, we experienced the greatest boom, yet borrowed more while depleting the reserve along the way and falling exchange rate - all because of institutionalized corruption. This is why I voted GMB in 2011 (in addition to eradicating insurgents), thinking that by 2015 I will vote for someone else to develop the economy after taming corruption. Nonetheless, this is a beautiful right-up by Soludo and I dove my cap for him. |
OP you are a woman. I am assuming you have kids. Imagine your boy witness the killing of his friends while they are sleeping in their hostel. Or imagine your daughter kidnapped when she went to write WAEC. 9 months later they are still not rescued either by negotiations or military action. Whatever gej might have achieved (if there truly any significant achievement) goes down the drain with insecurity. Like Festus Keyamo asked are the trains meant to transport dead bodies? How many corrupt politicians have been put tonjail by this administratikn? Obj partially defected to APC because the PDP chose a someone who's wanted for crime in the US. I am using a mobile device so can't type much |
This is not in defence of barcanista. But sometimes I wonder why we trust politicians this much. Nothing is beyond politicians - All politicians are a$$-holes, some are just more of an a$$hole than others. I have seen "false flags" around the world so many times that I have lost count. The PDP controls the military forces, but under its very watch in a state under emergency rule, over 200 girls were kidnapped by BH evading all check points and not even a hot-pursuit was made. The same PDP turned around to blame APC for sponsoring BH. Myself and many people online and real life believed that some pdp elements (with or without gej's knowledge/approval) are behind BH in order to blame it on the opposition and to prevent elections in the troubled zone. While many questioned the rationale/logic behind pdp discrediting its own government, a lot of people don't find it difficult to believe and that it actually makes sense! Blame it on opposition (who is already battling with the false tag of being an islamic party) to get sympathy from the people while at the same time prevent or at least reduce the number of votes to the opposition in that area. So if one is not overly partisan, and it "make sense" for pdp to be behind BH inline with the logic of raising false flag to blame it on your enemy, I just like barcanista, will not be in a hurry to absorb APC for this evil act (I sincerely hope this is just another false rumour). However, if I was the APC member trying to blackmail pdp, I probably will go with options as highlighted by jorlons below. The reason is simple: I won't kill someone that can give information/facts in support/defence of my goal. But then, I am not a politician so I am not as evil as they are. Bottom line, both parties remain suspects until proven otherwise. jorlons: |
NOW WE'RE TALKING!!! I wonder why it took the General this long to sue their a$$. Going forward, FFK will find the drug to cure him of the "diarrhea of the mouth" |
chukwudi44: sCun:So why e come dey pain una like this. There are now three stadia in Port Harcourt - One in Town i.e the sharks football stadium (not so sure of the name), One in Elikahia rumu omasi (i.e the liberation stadium) and this one along the road to the airport. Yes I am pretty familiar with PHC. I think the other two stadia were built by FG. Do they not belong to the Rivers people too? Why can't GEJ use either of the two FG-owned stadia? Why must he used the one just built by the state government? BTW those other two are in the city-center (especially the Liberation stadium in Elikahia) so he will get more people to attend the rally compared to the Adokie stadium on the outskirt of PHC. |
baybeeboi:Nope. You miss the point of the post. Suggestion: The artist is very good. You are under estimating the number of people viewing this. Put your phone number or email address and you may get some calls which may lead to decent contract deals. |
This is a state property built by the state government. What does the law say about taking what does not belong to you without the owner's permission? |
OK. So the certificate mud sliding isn't working. Hence its time to go back to promoting religious discord among the people. The truth is most people don't give a bleep about Buhari being a muslim. We know he is not perfect (just like none of us is) but we are sure he cannot possibly be worse than this failure of a government headed by one The only serious yet funny accusation against Buhari when he was HOS is the fact the he was too tough on corruption. I'll that is a BIG PLUS for him in Nigeria of today if he can repeat that toughness. It is not about religion but about sincerity of purpose. Most christians have admitted that GEJ is not christlike. |
outstandingjk: Then, in that case, I will go with IRON SPONGE to scrub it off ![]() just kidding |
francizy:@ the bolded - Don't be deceived cos all that glitters isn't gold. The only way of knowing if a woman is truly pretty is to take her to the pool for a short swimming exercise. That way, all the cosmetics makeup and pancakes will be washed out and she will be back to her natural self - Imagine PEJ after swimming ![]() Now to serious matter: I didn't bother reading since I know whatever they are doing now is just for the sake of the elections. GEJ and his theiving crew are all liars. |
Pataki:FIXED! And he may have to FIX the title on his int'l passport too if that title is on it! Unless he can provide irrefutable facts that he completed his Ph.D. Sad thing is all Uniport Students are now suspects as his Highness in Cluelessness has brought them to the attention of the academic world negatively. |
Samueldo:Well this is what PUNCH carries: JANUARY 23, 2015 BY FEMI MAKINDE, OSOGBO The Election Petitions Tribunal hearing matters arising from the Osun State governorship election held on August 9, 2014, has adjourned indefinitely for final judgment. The Chairman of the three-man panel, Justice Elizabeth Ikpejime, said this in her ruling on Friday after parties in the case had adopted their final written addresses. Th e Peoples Democratic Party’s governorship candidate, Senator Iyiola Omisore, prayed the tribunal to declare him the winner of the total lawful votes cast during the poll and return him as the governor of Osun State. However, Governor Rauf Aregbesola, who is the first respondent in the case, urged the panel to dismiss the petition. Chief Akin Olujinmi ( SAN), who represented the first respondent argued that the petitioner failed to prove his petition. Counsel for the All Progressives Congress, Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN), also urged the tribunal to dismiss the petitioner’s petition. Counsel for the Independent National Electoral Commission, Mr. Ayotunde Ogunleye, toed the same line of argument by the first two respondents in the case. Security was beefed up around the court premises as armed policemen, and operatives of the State Security Service were deployed in the area to ensure that there was no breakdown of law and order. http://www.punchng.com/news/aregbesola-omisore-wait-for-election-tribunal-judgment/ |
I thought he said his ambition is not worth the blood of Nigerians. PDP should stop this violent for the sake of the country. |
ba7man:Don't weep for him. Weeping is not good enough. For me I will seriously advise whoever spent money to send this dude to school to ask for complete refund as it is obviously a wasted investment. OP FYI myself and soooo many other graduates served faaarrrr away in other states with faaaarrrrrrr less than the amount of N8000 you were scared of. We know what it means to go through the NYSC. So with N19800 for 12 months I guess your life has been completly transformed now. You can get the best medical care from your saving of that money. You can start your own business. You can pay your bills. You can buy fuel to run your generator for the rest of your life. You can send your children to public schools (please don't ever dream of sending your kids to private school with that amount). You can do all these and many BASIC NECESSITIES of life with your never-seen-before pay raise. |
