proeast: Let me address your own points respectively
1. Igbos are not threatening anyone, at least we aren't saying we are going to kill anyone or to set Nigeria on fire. Rather, it is a promise. Telling Nigerians that we will chart our own course where we will have our dignity is not a threat. We have the right to self determination.
2. Having a secession clause in the Constitution or not doesn't change anything in the long run. We have the numbers and global spread to bring Nigeria to its knees. At the moment, the percentage of Igbos asking for Biafra is not up 30% yet Nigeria is feeling the pressure, then imagine what will happen when up to 80% of us become passionate about it. Igbos make up the highest number of Nigerians abroad and if they form a critical mass against Nigeria, the result will be devastating on our corporate image. Also, we have influential personalities in strategic places globally that could help us dismantle Nigeria. Nigeria is a very weak country and it would be gone once the US and UN are convinced to break it.
what a joke so other regions too don't have the global spread to quench any igbo misbehavior abi, you guys chest beat a lot abeg
faceland: I don't understand you. Your pastor close his church waiting for vaccine (because nothing has changed since January, there was no vaccine, treatment and cure then, there are still no vaccine, cure it treatment). We are going about our lives (are you not on Nigeria, based on public behavior, do we really believe in COVID-19?) yet he is too proud to confess that coronavirus isn't as dangerous as the media portray it.
He is doing Satan's work by echoing the narratives of those desperate to establish a new world order. Hope you are not so mentally and spirituality blind to think such conspiracy exist?
you're just saying what you don't know about. start reading your bible for yourself and stop being lazy by feeding on only what your pastor tells you ok?
any body who does not agree with your pastor is now doing satan's work, just listen to yourself
When you people say these things, I want to ask you which minister has more online presence than the people you are criticising? In fact, Rev Chris has had online platforms for years -long before these motivational speakers knew how to type on Google. Stop waffling. If you could pray and heal every one who was sick, will you close down your church for the plague to pass over? Answer honestly if you can.
i laugh in spanish, rev chris has a local ministry hence he can't stand his church being closed. the guys you think your pastor is greater than has global ministries and now have new global audience. I know this might be too much for you guys to comprehend cos you've overrated your pastor too much
faceland: If Sam Adeyemi wants to take the vaccine, I could care less (sincerely don't give a damn). It is not my church but this man recruited himself to be part of the propaganda machine of those spreading the FEAR of coronavirus, and would be a voluntary tool in the hands of those wishing to establish a new world order. That is my problem, it affects me.
A time would come when he would tell his church members to not come to church until they have showed their certificate of vaccination. He is slowly fulfilling the plans of satan.
The link to the article below is in the picture. Microsoft (Bill Gate) really publish that article. It is in the URL bar of the screenshot.
you guys are the ones spreading fear, the virus has not come to stay. This is not the first time the world is witnessing a pandemic and are we taking any vaccine to live currently?. You guys are the one creating unnecessary panic with all sorts of dumb conspiracy theories and it's a shame pastors who are suppose to be giving us words of comfort at this time have been distracted from the primary purpose of ministry. Pls you guys should get a life, there is more to ministry than Sunday worship which is what rev sam and his ilk have come to understand.
vikithor: He has revealed his depth of believe in the Word he preaches,he can't give out to others what he doesn't have(healing anointing/grace)The god he knows his a motivational patron but not a healer, the God of Christ Embassy is healer and not a motivational speaker but Life saver and giver. ..........
Learn how to drive better than you were shown, learn how to drive both manual and automatic cars.
you guys are just demarketing your church thinking you're hurting others, who's stopping you guys from opening on sunday? can't you mind your business? hypocrites
faceland: He is a motivational speaker that discovered success in opening church (lacks spiritual insight). It is evidence in his criticism of 5G conspiracy theory. This is the funny thing. Even the densely populated China has opened the "wet-market" since April, but these Westerners are still selling the lockdown idea. They are freely moving (with mask) and even eating bat-soup right now in China.
awhybliss: Most Pentecostal pastors are theologists they just study and learn the Bible (which is good).but they are too theoritical and solely believe in science instead of God. Sam adeyemi is indirectly limiting the power of God and exhorting science
UdechiHD: Now let’s list the positions, before you deceive gullible Nigerians.
This was the top position that was shared under the Ya’radua/Goodluck Presidency in 2007 - 2011.
1. Presidency - NW Ya’radua 2. Vice President - SS Jonathan 3. Chief Judge - NE Alooma-Mukthar 4. Senate Presidency NC David Mark 5. Speaker SW - P. Etteh/Dimeji Bankole 6. Deputy Senate SE - Ike Ekweremadu
Military Army - NC and later SE Navy - SW Air Force - SS Police - SE and later NW Custom - NW Civil Defence - SW Immigration - SS
In 2011 - 2015 Under GEJ
1. President - SS Jonathan 2. Vice President - NW Namadi Sambo 3. Chief Judge - NE Alooma-Mukthar/Mohammed 4. Senate President - NC David Mark 5. Speaker - NW Tambuwal 6. Deputy Senate - SE Ike Ekweremadu
Military Army - SE and later SS Navy - NW Air Force - SW Immigration - NC Customs - NE Civil Defence - SW
So how did the Igbos dominate the government. It’s like you Yoruba’s see Igbo demons in your dream? Mind you I can source the full list of who held what from 2007-2015. And for your information Deziani is an Ijaw who focuses her attention on her native Bayelsa her constituency.
dont' be too smart, where is the deputy speaker and the SSG, why do you leave them out?, after all you put deputy senate president there now add it and compare to others, you see why we can't trust you guys? to say the simple truth, it's an issue, smh
UdechiHD: That your cup of tea. However, the good thing is that you don’t own the APC? We’ll vie for the Presidential ticket of the APC and if we become successful. This country will enjoy real leadership and not the divisiveness those who have ruled this country did. Ndigbo will carry out national interest for all. Not the nonsense northernization policy, you clowns helped Buhari push.
indeed, we know already know the interest you will push, reason we don't want an igbo man in aso rock for now
UdechiHD: Lol! This Goke want to force words from my mouth. So the SE that didn’t hold the major top 4 position prior to the elections, neither did we held any military/police head role. As a matter of fact, only Pius Anyim was the person we had that was close to Jonathan from the SE, the rest were from the SS and north. In fact Jonathan surrounded himself with his fellow Niger-Deltans and northerners than the SE. So how then did a zone with no major role in GEJ’s government influence decisions?
make una softy dey lie, the SSG, deputy senate president, deputy speaker, coordinator of the economy [close to prime minister position], chief of army staff were all igbos and we knew how influential they were in that govt. You guys should desist from playing down the role you had then which made GEJ said Igbos were the pillar of his govt.
UdechiHD: How is it denial? Did Yoruba’s not lead PDP anti-APC media war? Was Reuben Abati and Fani Kayode not the hench men that held press conferences to destroy Buhari’s image? Who owns AIT? Is it an Igboman. Igbos spread their locally, through Peter Obi etc, but Yoruba’s dudes like Fani Kayode, Reuben Abati and Fayose were the loud mouths who appeared in the media to lead the anti-APC campaign.
deny all you can, those folks you mentioned were just in the front-line working for their boss which every loyal staff will do, but the main guys in the background behind it all, we knew very well
loopman: The truth is that Ibos should be stoning people like Peter Obi Nwanyanwu Ekweremadu Anyim and all those PDP igbo elites that sold that terrible narrative of APC being an Islamic party that want to come and Islamize Nigeria
Those fools created this present confusion in Alaigbo
unfortunately the harm has been done. The APC can never trust such kind of people. Politicians are not that stupid. The elections for politicians in 2023 is more about who can protect my interests and not mere ethnic sentiments, that's what our south easterners don't understand. If I as a yoruba guy cannot trust the guy in aso rock to protect the interests of my region, sorry. The igbos gave us a taste of what it will be like if they lead in aso rock during the days of Jonathan. My personal concern is that hardly will any FG project go on again in the SW once an igbo man is in power, we are not fools so we go dodge that bullet wella. The igbos have a hidden agenda against sw development and that will come to the fore if they ever spearhead things in aso rock. No amount of sugar coating can cover this hidden truth
UdechiHD: You are right! Ekweremadu and Anyim should be removed from the list, they have nothing to do with it. You can hold Peter Obi responsible for kickstarting the ambush with Ngige’s ACN. And the likes of Emeka Ihedioha, TA Orji in the SE for helping spread the Islamic title in Igboland for their selfish interest. However, the central media of the PDP, headed by Yoruba’s championed the mantra. The PDP media team spread the Alhaji People’s Congress mantra and APC as a Jihadist party. Remind me who ran the PDP media team under GEJ? Reuben Abati, Fani Kayode both SW and Raymond Dokpesi AIT Edo state. The SE didn’t hold any media role in that debacle. So why put the blame on us.
omo see denial but the harm has been done and it will be difficult for APC to trust any igbo man as their candidate. There is always this concern that even the igbo politician supported can still be a sell out. With the way Ngige insulted tinubu hmmm, not looking good at all mhen
Thetruthshallse: What is wrong with the igbos? People everywhere learn from history, it shall never be well with this nwodo. Even if you want out from Nigeria,it is not by making threats. The Japanese and the Germans after losing the war, they stoop to conquer. Everything is not by power. Why is nwodo poisoning the mind of the new generations, this presidency of a thing is just for the elites. Why don't he think of other igbos doing their businesses up and down the country. If he wants the presidency, he should negotiate with his fellow thieves from other part of the country, not by threats.
they are just frustrated that the next president after PMB will be from the sw. they are just in sifia pains in advance
nedekid: Oga, all your explanation makes sense in a sane country but in Nigeria it does not. See, even if fuel is sold at 500/L, there will still be stories why it is the wrong price and subsidy has to be paid. Make fuel 1k and you will still hear story. If government is sincere, why not remove all the taxes on fuel? All the silly withholding tax etc after all, petrolium products are essential commodities that are of strategic national importance.
Govt actually make huge revenues from these taxes, reason I doubt fuel importation can stop in naija. It's a major reason Govt is not also serious about the power sector which in order can reduce the demand for petrol and diesel which in turn will reduce the volume of importation. It will take a bold President to change that trajectory cos it doesn't make sense spending our dollar revenues importing petrol. Our problems are just too artificial
kikero: Well data is a bit cheaper than a few years ago, plus there is the phenonenom of 'data resellers'...who sell data at a cheap price.
But of course, things are still a bit high because operating costs are high....eg power supply is bad in Nigeria, so GSM companies spend more on generating power
(And the reason why power is bad is because it is heavily subsidsed and because ...but that's another story).
@the bolded, the day this excuse will be over, I will be waiting for the next set of excuses cos the more you look in naija, the more you see. The telecom sector can keep hiding under the power for issue for now. Even the power sector keep hiding under the excuse that Nigerians cannot pay for the actual cost of power despite the heavy amount of money Nigerians pay for petrol, diesel and generators as alternative power sources.
lozanni: I don't agree with your summation above. When the telecommunication sector was deregulated under the President Obasanjo regime, a minute call rate was about N50 per minute, though you will be still be charged the full N50 whether you make a call of 10 seconds or less. The above lucrative pricing mechanism attracted other players like Econet and Glo which in turn created competition among them, with Glo introducing the per second billing system which caused many consumers to switch over to their company. MTN and Econet, not wanting to lose their clients, had no choice but to follow suit in offering the per second billing system to their clients too. The power of competition and free market pricing of GSM calls has eventually led to the cost of per minute billing of calls to fall to about N12 per minute from N50 per minute! It has also led to the creation of novel products to maximise clients money by introducing a system where in a network, you get N3,900 for calls and 300 MB data if you buy a recharge card of N1,000. The networks are also more consumer friendly now as they call their clients to ascertain from them if they are satisfied with their services or how they can improve their services The above shows that the market price system will eventually enthrone the consumer as king if it is allowed to operate in the petroleum sector, though the initial teething pains and difficulty will present themselves, but ultimately the consumers will be better off.
What is the true state of the telecom sector now, how cheap are the services they render
kikero: N.B: I am not here to defend any government...just to explain things.
The price of fuel is going up for two reasons....very simplifed
1.Nigeria is not earning enough cash to keep the price of fuel down because the amount of dollars we are earning from oil aren't enough to pay for subsidy (which exists so long as fuel prices are controlled by the government)
2.Because Nigeria is not earning enough dollars, the value of the naira is going down, which is why the oil price is going up. (In very rough terms, N145 is equal IN value to N65 ten years ago).
3.We cannot increase refining capacity because despite 61 licences issued for refienreis, only people like Dangote are building, because if you build a refinery in Nigeria, because government is controlling prices, anyone refining fuel in Nigeria will sell at a loss.
(That's why Dangote's refienry is not going to bring down prices in the meantime, because Dangote has to pay back loans he took to build his refinery, and then there is the cost. These add up).
4.Oil prices are going up,and since we import most of our refined fuel the price of fuel too has to go up.
5. The solution is simple. Allow marketers to control the price of fuel they sell. Yes, at the end of the day, we pay N200-300 for a liter of fuel...but in return, investors will come and buiild more refienreis, jobs and production icnreases, and competiton brings down prices. And smuggling stops, and government saves money.
Easier said than done, prices hardly go down in Nigeria. Even in the telecom sector, you will think data prices should be down now but reverse is the case. Too many non technical factors we are dealing with in Nigeria and greed the greatest of them all
Saraki that slashed Lagos-Ibadan express road project which is a major reason for its present delay, they way people reason in this forum na wa.
Yes he was slashing PMB budjet but did not slash the national assembly budget abi, where did we first hear the word budget padding, was it not in saraki's tenure? rubbish and balderdash
Tareq1105: Remember Presidency is about trust of other tribes and regions.
So, the question is what is the degree of Trust that exists between a typical Igbo man (in your office, as a neighbor, as a business partner, etc) and other tribes?
the igbos don't believe in anything like trust, they just want anything anyway anyhow
Whiteangel1234: Biafra Agitation will take a very dangerous angle after 2023 if igbos are deny the President .. We cannot be a slave and our children slave in Nigeria better everything scatter to your tent oh israel
are you aware it takes an election to be President?
ikay00406: A Nigerian politician can make much more figures within a week with a stroke of a pen..They know this and are not dumb to leave those post.. A Minister in Abuja or Head of an Agency in Nigeria is richer than any big position abroad.. Forget about Salary.
don't be deceived, no one can leave a very comfortable job abroad to return to Nigeria and pick an appointment that won't have more fringe benefits than the one abroad.
Nigerians have been fooled, these folks earn much more here. I pity those of us that says Nigeria is a shithole cos you will perish that thought when you hear what some folks in and outside govt earn in Nigeria. To their pants these guys and their children are over pampered when they return to Nigeria for these appointments
