I think Keshi's greatest problem is that he keeps grinding out positive results even when many are wishing him failure, When he finally qualifies for the world cup, people are still going to open their wide mouth and complain that his team is too slow. even if keshi wins the world cup, people are still going to complain that there are players out there that can still make better contributions to the team, men, keshi don suffer no be small. Its like telling someone who came out of school with first class grade that he should have done better I no fit laugh abeg lol! A champion is a CHAMPION! whether the players are strolling on the pitch or crawling. |
Babzilla: TYPICAL NIGGERIAN RESPONSE TO CRITICISMDestructive criticism is what Bonfere is doing here, bring out issues from the past to hurt Keshi and concluding that Keshi will not even listen to him, how long are going to continue to support these white dudes against our indigenous coaches. Ethiopia that has done well so far in the world cup qualifiers is being handled by an indigenous coach. Are we also trying to conclude with Bonfere that Keshi will fail? I really don't understand us Nigerians, we don't know what we want. |
femi4: Players likeI tire o people talk as if there are better players out there who are more committed and hungry like Keshi's boys. oh I forgot may be players like Yakubu, kaita and Twitter boss Osaze. We are all deceiving ourselves if we think there are better players than mikel, moses, emenike, Onazi and co out there. |
collynzo2: Name just one ''positive'' that can be picked from this articleThe positive from this article is that the white dude is back to his village where the interview was conducted and he's jobless. He is simply following the advise Keshi gave to Tom Sainfeit [Go back to your village] lol. |
Bonfere surely must have had issues with keshi in the past, this explains his current opinions, anyway, the guy has never been successful as a coach since he left Nigeria, he tried to even lobby his way back before Keshi was appointed, so i understand his pains, these white dudes should know that we are done with them as far as coaching in Africa is concerned. Bonfere you are very wrong here and if you are praying that keshi should fail so you can be appointed, am sorry you will be dissapointed. |
SailorXY: What exactly has Cote d'Ivoire won sef to be the no 1 in Africa for so longSentiments aside, They are very consistent when it comes to qualifying matches, they win matches both home and away, they play top friendlies more than other African teams their major problem is only in tournaments like AFCON when they fail when it matters most but they've been the most consistent team in Africa in the past few years. FACT# |
DarryOsh: I thought i was the only one who noticed. Its so terrible. You walk into a private establishment and they treat u like a king. You walk into a govt-owned establishment and they treat you poorly. I think the reason they can afford to do so is because Govt jobs are so secure. Nobody can query them. Its almost not possible for them to get sacked. The worst thing is that if you try to insist on your right to be treated well, they wil do all in their power to frustrate you. I guess Nigerians are like that. We like to feel powerful; you know that "i can do and undo" mindset. So, in the little area we control we flex our muscles as much as we can. Its so sad. Virtually all Govt establishments are like that. Police treats you like trash. To enter your lecturer's office in school, you must have prayed for God to to give you favour in his sight. You actually beg lecturers to come to class. If they enter the class and there is no marker, they get angry and promise never to come to your class.well said, in addition, 'Government business is nobody's business' I heard this from an Ex governor of a state. The summary is that there is no sense of responsibility and accountability. They do whatever they like, even the Oga at the top cannot fire you, their jobs are so secure. |
Caper verde is surely a learnee in soccer, this is the outcome of over reliance on boardroom points, they were beneficiaries earlier from a previous game now it has come to haunt them. This is why we should not complain too much if African countries are not doing well in FIFA rankings, we always want the easy way out all the time. Am sure Malawi and Tom Sainfeit will be checking all the team sheets of all the games now to see if they can still qualify in case Kenya, Nigeria or Namibia must have used ineligible players. This is how we play in Africa! so sad! |
Belgium is a team to watch out for in the world cup next year, they have a golden generation of players like Hazad, Fellaini, Benteke, Lukaku, Vincent Kompany, Ventorgen [Tottehham] men these guys are the bomb o! watch out |
sweetcheecks: South Africa really needs a miracle currently they stink! My brother, in Africa we play soccer in the boardroom for points and in FIFA headquarters in Zurich, also all sorts of silly mind games instead of getting into business on the pitch, this is what is killing our soccer, we are too desperate, we want the easy way out. |
That is why I will continue to say that soccer games in Africa are too tricky, with all the world cup qualifiers in Europe aand South America, you will never hear coaches of opposing teams abusing themselves and their respective countries all because they want to play a match of 90mins, if Tom saintfeit was the coach of Belgium and he wants to play England or even Estonia, will he have audacity to open his wide and big for nothing mouth to say that London or any city in Europe is not safe even if there are security challenges, these white dudes [ i dont care if am racist or not] come to Africa and create more problems for us and we Africans in our own stupidity and foolishness instead of getting to the pitch to do business, we start to abuse each other before we kick the ball all in the name of stupid and foolish mind games. You need to see and hear all sorts of stupid comments between Ghana and Zambia all because of a world cup qaulifier, even before Kenya came to Nigeria for their game, they said all sort of stupid things about Nigeria and the same thing when we went to Nairobi, there was even a twitter fight btw Nigeria and Kenya all because of a match of 90 mins. This is what all countries in Africa now depend on to win matches that some will forget that they have even fielded ineligible players, do you know how many countries have lost and gain boardroom points all because of all this nonsense. Countries like Cameroon are in the final qualifying round because of this and Cape verde is now a victim, even though they were beneficiary earlier. Its a pity because football in Africa will never improve because countries prefer to play in the boardroom or FIFA office in Zurich rather than on the pitch Lagbaja said it all, Africans generally are all MUMUS! |
Soccer games in Africa are not like that of Europe where the better side wins most of the time irrespective of the venue [home or away]. There are a lot of things involved like bad pitches, weather conditions, the altitude, troublesome fans, attitude of the host nation [just ask Zambia when they went to Ghana], CAF politics especially the Fracophone cabal, fielding ineligible players, boardroom points and so many others. All these do work against better and top sides. I wish Keshi and the Eagles all the best. |
I think these guys are playing mind games to send fears down the spine of all the countries in the final world cup qualifiers round not just Nigeria and alone, we all need to be careful, these North Africans are very tricky, especially Egypt, they know how to frustrate teams both home and away, remember the home games in Egypt are usually on Fridays. |
Theben: Remember we played and won in KenyaEthiopia is a better side than Kenya, they move the ball very well and are not easily tired. |
folahann: I think we should thread carefully. The playoff is on home and away basis, so playing Ethiopia away won't be easy as their high altitude works against opposing teams.Thank you very much Sir I wonder why Nigerians want ethipoia, the altitude in that country will make Super Eagles struggle, a draw will be too difficult to get, remember the last time Nigeria Played there it ended 2-2, it was Yobo with few minutes to the end of the game that scored to get that hard earned draw. If you ask me I will prefer Senegal, the away game is likely to be on a neutral ground due to the ban that is still hanging on their country due to crowd violence. Burkina Faso will be ok too. Cameroun is a big NO due to CAF's president factor. Egypt is a no go area o! I beg. Soccer games in Africa are not like that of Europe where the better side wins most of the time irrespective of the venue [home or away]. There are a lot of things involved like bad pitches, weather conditions, the altitude, attitude of the host nation [just ask Zambia when they went to Ghana], CAF politics especially the Fracophone cabal, fielding ineligible players, boardroom points and so many others. All these do work against better and top sides. I wish Keshi and the Eagles all the best. |
[quote author=young-dude]Those of you shouting Mourinho wants to destroy his career, you have to understand that He sends Moses on loan because he loves the guy and want him to be happy. Cant you guys just stop being sentimental and look into Chelsea Current Squad? If he stays, There wont be space for him. or do you think Mourinho will Bench Williams or Andre Schurrle or Kelvin d B not to talk of Oscar, Mata, Hazard. come on guys![/quote]I have watched Schurrle's game Moses is far better than this guy, Schurlle hardly makes two quality crosses inside the penaltly area for whole 90 mins and can't cut in from the wing into the panltly area like moses. Oscar and hazard most time after 60mins, they tire out or switch off completely, kevin b does not come close at all, if u say mata yes. mourinho is only playing politics, the issue is he wants to change the entire team cos he just arrived. He thinks he knows too much, now i understand why he had problems with players back in spain. |
Mannylex: I can swear with my life that the Malawians are playing mind games on Nigeria. If you have read 48 laws of power, you would know what am talking about.Kenya did more mind games by training on a primary school red soil playing ground, it did not help their matter either, they even beaten at their backyard[nairobi], these malawi guys and their silly coach will regret all these stupidity. |
Sagamite: You see. You are both fucktards!NO, it is you and Tom Sainfeit that are both ......... [fill in the gap] a.fuctards b.stuuupid c.moronic d. cretin Any of the above options suit you both. |
Sagamite: You are a person! With all these repetitions it also looks like you repeated classes in school and you say you are intelligent? wao! |
Sagamite: You are a person!little boy waky waky, time to go home, mummy is waiting for uuuu!!!! don't keep her waiting....lol! |
collynzo2: ^^^ By the way, your vocabulary of insults is very limited. Fuctard, cretin, product of failed educational system all the time, what else do you have in your Arsenal? Trust me, I can do way better than that.My guy let's not waste our time on this kid, like i said in my earlier posts, looks like he just finished secondary school, i wish we have a way of keeping kids like this out of this forum, you can see that he's just keep repeating his new found junk vocabularies, he is a minus to the intellectual discourse here. |
Sagamite: You are a person!Little boy! you have not answered my question, how was your WAEC result? if not just go and help daddy and mummy with the house chores, you hear and make sure you keep reading your school books cos JAMB and post JAMB are still there waiting for you so you have to be hardworking, Pls stay away from forums like this, they are way above you, when you grow up and probably finish university education that is if u do well in JAMB and POST JAMB, then you are qualified to make contributions here, you hear cos all are i hear you say here is all sorts of uncouth-ed and foul languages, you must have been keeping the wrong friends in secondary school, little boy oya its time to go home and help daddy and mummy, send my greetings and tell them that uncle said you should keep on studying your books. |
Sagamite: How does this junk you wrote prove he was being racist?looks like u just finished secondary school and this is making you feel you are the most intelligent person, never knew i have been dealing with a kid, I thought u said the man was playing mind games, now you are saying in your own words 'the whiteman criticises', is that how you worship people with white skin, Oh i forgot you just finished secondary school! congrats how was your WAEC result lol! |
Sagamite: You are a person! My brother I hope you noticed that i never used any bad language on you so I don't know why i should deserve any from you and if i may ask are u a Belgian? lol I even thought you will even addressed some of the issues i brought up. Has any incident of kidnapping or all what u have listed happened in calabar since the Eagles have been playing there? someone is insulting the whole country and lying about a place that FIFA has even approved to be safe to be unsafe and you are supporting him saying that its all mind games, security issues are too sensitive to be used as platforms for mind games. Saintfeit can use other issues as subjects for his so called mind games but not using a safe place like calabar and if may ask if you were from calabar will you be happy that someone is calling your city unsafe when you know it is safe? Mourinho who is a master of mind games will not say that the city of manchester is unsafe because chelsea wants to play at Old tratford Finally, don't overate yourself cos you may not be as well informed as you think! |
Sagamite: I am not saying he is a mediocre coach. He is a very good coach that is worthy of the SE job. But he is by no means world class or better than many of the white coaches like Metsu or Westerhof to be on a platform to be damaging his name.My dear brother let's not argue much, no matter how good any african coach is no european club or country will employ him cos the europeans believe they know too much and are superior, can u tell me any black man even those that are europeans who have been given any opportunity? do u remember Paul Ince, was he given enough time, pls let's not deceive ourselves, african players can play in europe but no african coach will be given that opportunity, its like saying that a black man can become FIFA president. is it that there are no good administrators of black origin? my brother these are no go areas for africans now all because of racism. Tom Saintfeit, i wonder why you are holding brief for him played the racist card for declaring Nigeria as unsafe, do u listen to him earlier, he said the match should even be taken outside the country and you expect keshi and other concerned Nigerians to keep quiet. The guy started it all, thank God he was never employed by Nigeria, do you know he has problems back in malawi with players. Foreign coaches in africa has done more harm than good in recent times, just go to cote d voire and ask them what has happened in their national team. These foreign coaches have no genuine interest in our football, they are only after money and not glory cos they are racists period. And as for Ahmed Musa, he will get better with time, my brother results is what matter, the guy is an african champion, double champion in Russia, if i may ask who gave Nigeria the away victory in Kenya! Result is what counts! |
Sagamite: No 1, Many of the learnee, as you claimed, coaches are miles better and more employable than the junk we have in Africa. They tend, on average, to work harder and strive to be the best while the typical African mentality is to celebrate mediocrity. My dear brother, are u saying that keshi is a mediocre coach? african coaches don't need employment outside africa for them to be successful, there are enough opportunities for them back in africa to move africa soccer forward. And as for Ahmed musa, his pace troubles opposing teams a lot, just ask Uruguay and Spain at the confederation's cup, forget the fact we lost both matches, if you say Ideye, I will agree with you, despite that Ideye still have his good qualities too. I still maintain that Keshi is still the winner here even the Nff guys knows this and that's why they are not happy with him, for any reason keshi goes, mark my words, he will be recalled again to continue from where he stopped. 'Tom Saint defeat' is the original racist here and its so surprising how Nigerians are supporting this learnee, if the guy is so good why did he not apply for Manchester Utd' or Real madrid coaching job when their former coaches left, what a local champion, malawi for that matter! |
'Tom saint pure water' or whatever he bears is a complete 'learnee' who has no vision and is not thinking beyond the game on sep 7, malawi will surely loose to Nigeria and what will he have achieved? does he think that there is no life after the game in calabar. But seriously the way African countries behave whenever they want to play the super eagles really amazes me as if the third world war is about to begin, Kenya led by another learnee coach came with all their antics but failed woefully. In all of these I blame soccer federations in Africa who employ foreign learnee coaches to increase the hatred among African countries, this will only spell doom for soccer in africa. This will only fire up the Super Eagles Players cos they all want to go to the world cup. I just want to advise those who continue to criticize keshi, yes he may be wrong but coaches all over the world all have their weaknesses, let's be careful how we join foreigners to bring down our coach, keshi has nothing to loose even if he fails to qualify for the world cup, he remains one of Nigeria's best and many nations in Africa can't wait to employ him just in case our learnee NFF relieves him of his job, the guy is proven and tested. Keshi is the winner here. |
This is how Ngozi Nwosu's case started o, she told us she was loosing weight before she came out to say the truth finally, there's no point lying about your health to please people, anyway I pray for God's divine health for her afterall Ngozi Nwosu is hale and hearty today. |
keshi is inviting 24 home-based players to camp so that the the training camp will be lively with some tempo before the foreign based players arrive so they too will flow with the tempo and increase it, opening the camp with only 5 or even 10 home based players is only a waste of time, 24 players can be divided into two teams who can size up each other for effective training and monitoring for fitness, also it will afford the coaches to examine the home based players for the CHAN coming up early next year. The Nff guys are just bunch of learners and 'learnees' who keep looking for pitfalls for keshi to fail but God pass them. Keshi is only maximizing the opportunity to achieve greater things, a very smart coach for that matter. Nigerians please don't mind the NFF guys. UP SUPER EAGLES. |
jonazter: Blaiming Eyeama for de goal forlan scored is unfair cos is only a few goalkeepers dat can save such goals, bt if keshi must blame someone, it shud be de defenders, Omeru in paticular for not runin to cover up de direction de ball was, bt instead, he stood stil tinkin Forlan wil nt shoot from dat positiv bt perphas drible in b4 shootinMy brother Keshi never came out to blame anybody for the goal nah, why are we allowing some Journalists or media speculations to cause confusion among us. Honestly the media has made life difficult for keshi despite getting very important results so far. I just heard a Journalist on radio just now saying Keshi is a politician and has introduced politics into our National Team. What a pity! Well let's sack Keshi if that will make everybody happy and let see that coach that will able to grind out results too like Keshi. |
The only thing that can revive Osaze's career is the Nigerian National Team but unfortunately he has abused everybody including the coach, NFF officials and even journalists and to make matters worse Nigeria won the AFCON, people are only clamouring for his return because the likes of moses, emenike and a few others were not in the confed cup but the guys are back now with the likes of ameobi and in case anichebe, the ike brothers come back too, my people Osaze own don finish o. My fear is that West brom will continue to deal with him by not selling him [remember tevez n macini at man city] look at what rooney is facing now at man utd, his national team career may bail him out but osaze is not yet aware of the deep soup he has found himself. The guy should just continue to hope for the best. And just like someone has said earlier on this thread, the green white green shirt is a very big deal o despite the kind of football administrators we have who chop players bonus. the likes of mikel know this very well and ameobi too has realized this. someone too need to advise anichebe very fast. Balotelli can mess up at club level, but never at the Italian National Team. |
emorse: You say the CONFED cup wasn't a priority? I disagree with that. We were Africa's sole representative. Besides, it was a perfect opportunity to build a reputation for ourselves before the world cup.The NFF made it clear that qualifying for the world cup was more of a priority than the Confed Cup considering the tight match schedule in June for the Super Eagles. The NFF you know are hypocritical at times, they only use the dismal performance at the Confed Cup as an opportunity to take a swipe at Keshi. Remember they are only tolerating Keshi cos of the AFCON triumph and waiting just like many other Nigerians for him [keshi] to fail finally, perhaps not qualifying for the world cup before their HAMMER will fall but God pass them! |
