liltee123: An ATM card thief has been nabbed in a hotel he lodged in with his girlfriend.
The suspect got quite unlucky after he stole an ATM card from an unsuspecting elderly citizen from whose account he withdrew over N500k while posing as a policeman.
He was nabbed after he made a transfer with the ATM card in a hotel he lodged in near his victim's house.
Narrating how the suspect withdrew over N500K from her mother's account, Vivian Emesaraonye Dimgba wrote;
My mum was duped of 500k last night. She went to the Atm, tried to put her pin, it wasnt working. She saw a young man standing behind her, and turned to him to complain or vent basically. Feigning concern, he asked to assist her try again. Being so trusting herself, she gave him the card. He put it, and told her the Atm card was stuck, and that she needed to go inside the bank and tell them. She went to the security man, since the bank was already closed and did just that. By the time she came out, the man already left. Oh, he told her he was a policeman.
Fast forward to 12 midnight, she got her first transfer alert 300k. Then 100k..until there was only 30k left in the account. She got dressed, then drove to town with my dad, and made a police report. But they couldn't do much, since they were not sure the Atm terminal he made the transfer from.
At about 1am, he made another transfer. But this time through a POS machine. Eastgate Hotel. Less than 15 minutes walk from my house. He paid for the room, and ordered food as well. We called back the police men, told them of our findings and they met us at the hotel in less than 30 minutes.
They got into the hotel, checked the person who lodged in at the time the POS sent the alert. The print-out they had corresponded with my mum's Atm card number. That was how we apprehended him with the girl he made the transfer of the first 300k to. She allegedly was meeting him for the first time yesterday, but they've been friends on Facebook for a while. We also recovered some Atm cards, which included my mum's card , and the printout he used for the transactions.
Anyway, they are both cooling their heels in the holding cell and will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
I must commend the squad for their timely intervention. After today, my perception of the Nigerian police is a bit different..
Times are strange. Be aware!
Upon being asked to release the lady who the suspect made a transfer of N300k to, Vivian wrote in a rejoinder post;
The Atm cards. I blurred the cards as not to further expose the owners . The diamond access card is my mum's. You can see the receipt he used for the last transaction. I still don't know why he didn't pay with cash, because he obviously had some of the money he withdrew from the Atm.
I guess it was greed. 7k was what gave him out. I feel no sympathy for him. My mum is a high blood pressure sufferer. Close your eyes for a minute and imagine her state now. The money isn't hers either. It was transfered from dad's business contact for a surveying work he was suposed to carry out for his client. I would've refunded 500k, for no just cause.
Those of you who feel like the girl is innocent, did you see where I used the word "allegedly?" until proven otherwise.. She's a thief. She's complicit. And how is she supposed to prove that she's innocent. ?
Finally, stop Inboxing me to release the girl. Do I look like the police ? Who takes 300k from a random stranger? If my mum had slumped last night, all I would've gotten is rest in peace. I'll block anyone who mildly suggests the girl is innocent. Not unless you're privy to the complete details of the case, your opinion is not needed.
Thank you.

chigoziri2403: I first met her in Jos, I asked her for a fling, she refused, after much persuasion, she agreed, when she came to my apartment, she met one of my friends with benefits, she left and bluntly refused my advances after, I gave up.
Fast forward, met her in Abuja, we exchanged contacts. She was still extra sexy, she is built the way I like women: slim, small breast, flat tummy and huge ass.
She asked me for financial favour via whatsapp, I gave her. Her Whatsapp status are her videos dancing seductively without bra.
I stopped viewing them, one day she sent them directly to me, but later claimed it was meant for another person, I am greatly tempted to ask her for sex just once to get her out of my thoughts But here is the problem, she was once friends with my wife before I got married, and they had a big misunderstanding that's before I met my wife, they have mutual friends, lots of them, I don't want to ask her for a fling, and she ends up telling her friends who might tell my wife, her seduction is too much.

Mrs Obiagelli, woman in viral video with Borno Governor, gets promotion from class teacher to assistant headmistress
A level 12 class teacher, Mrs Obiagelli Mazi, who was encountered by Borno Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum 6:30 am on Friday, has been promoted to an assistant headmistress.
Executive Chairman, Borno State Universal Education Board, SUBEB, Dr Shettima Kullima conveyed the promotion on Saturday after his recommendation was approved by Governor Zulum.
Governor Zulum had during an outing 6:30 am on Friday to assess public institutions, encountered Mrs Obiagelli already at school, waiting for her pupils. The woman who hails from Abia state has been teaching for 31 years. Zulum met her at Shehu Sanda Kyarimi 2 Primary school under Jere local government education authority.
Overwhelmed by Mrs Obiagelli’s dedication, Governor Zulum commended and rewarded her with personal cash of N100,000 nearly three times her monthly salary of N35,000.
In addition, Governor Zulum directed executive chairman of Borno State Universal Education Board to review the woman’s civil service position, her qualification (which happens to be NCE) and recommend her promotion. 24 hours later, the SUBEB chairman contacted the Governor recommending Mrs Obiagelli’s promotion from class teacher to assistant headmistress. He said even though the woman was not a graduate her 31 years teaching experience and commitment coupled with an executive order by the Governor have earned her the promotion.

yeyeosoronga: Magic Johnson has lived with HIV for over 2 decades and he is still standing strong. Many live with HIV in our midst. HIV is probably safer than the Coronavirus right now. HIV has just become a chronic disease, that can be controlled enough not to be even easily transmissable. The problem with HIV is the initial hype when the disease was first detected , when there was no treatment for it and it was more or less a death sentence. No longer the story now. Nigerians have just refused to move beyond the death sentence that used to be associated with HIV, even though it's not same again. I agree with you, its quite unfortunate when ones trust is betrayed. |

To live with the taught of the possibility of not being able to have a child again is bearable compared to HIV my brother. But I still feels she has Hope. |

Dominiondominio: I’m a 26 years old woman married to a 37 years old man. We have been married for almost 3 years.
We don’t have kids yet and 6 months ago I ended up in hospital with sepsis. The doctors originally thought it was caused by a kidney infection but later found that it was caused by Pelvic Inflammatory disease.
They repeatedly asked about my sexual history but I have only slept with one person in the past 3 years - my husband. I ended up having to have emergency surgery as the infection would not respond to the IV antibiotics they were giving me. I was in hospital for 10 days and have potential long- term damage which will affect my ability to have children.
I recently found out that my husband has cheated on me a number of times throughout our marriage and that the Pelvic inflammation was caused by untreated Gonorrhoea.
When I was discharged from hospital, he admitted that he has been cheating on me with a single mother of 4 (unprotected sex ) And he got the gonorrhea! How irresponsible! I am completely devastated and don't want to believe that the love of my life could be so callous. I very nearly died and if it were not for the brilliant doctors who quickly recognised my symptoms.
Of course the woman my husband got the gonorrhea from denied everything and I bet she won’t go get treated and will continue to spread this nasty and dangerous disease! She is done with having kids so why would she care, right?
Well, I do want to have kids and I won’t let my fertility and health taken away! the emotional damage caused by the infidelity itself is horrible. I feel angry, dirty, and ugly. All I want to do is cry all day. I can’t talk to anyone about it because I feel so ashamed. The person I trust the most is my mother but i don't want to break her heart. I know that to her my happiness matters the most and I think she would be angry at me the rest of her life if I told her that I still love my husband.
My husband feels remorseful and said he would never cheat on me again. He said he would choose me over any lifestyle and that he would give up everything for me. I have a very hard time trusting him again and I still don't know what I want from this whole thing. I just can't understand why my husband would have sex with a disgusting, nasty woman and betray me on so many levels. My pride got hurt so badly. I feel so ugly and worthless. My libido is absolutely gone. I feel empty inside. Then all the sudden I feel horrible, horrible anger and I want to break everything in sight. On some nights I can't sleep and sometimes I want to sleep all day. Most days I'm not even hungry and I have to force myself to eat something.
I feel like I will never be happy again. I used to be a happy, confident, bubbly person, now my zest for life is gone. Is this normal? Will these feelings ever go away? I thank God it wasn't HIV so stop beating yourself over what you cant change. A lot of things are going on in the society now and believe me men faced a lot of temptations. Your only task is to find out if he is really remorseful, if he has cut ties with the woman. If he hasn't you need to either manage him in prayers or get out. |
Family › Re: I Want To Leave My Wife For My Girlfriend by golddare: 12:48pm On Feb 08, 2020 |
papaejima20199: This is my first time posting NL , although I've been reading a lot in the last few months . I'll try to be as detailed as possible. I don't even know if I'm asking a question, or advice, or what. I just have to get some things out of my brain.
I’m 36 and my wife is 32. we've been married for 12 years and have two children, twins age 1. I would say happily married. As in, we don't fight, , never any abuse of any kind, no major life disagreements. I love my wife. She is a great mother, a great provider for the family, and we make a great team when it comes to raising our kids. However, she leaves me feeling undesired. Sexually, just intimacy in general, not feeling wanted or desired, missing that flirtatious quality that we all enjoy in a relationship. Our sex life has been on a steady decline, honestly since we got married. Less and less and less every year, and yes, kids make that even more difficult (and provide very easy excuses)
About 2 years ago, I was close to cheating. There was a girl at work that I flirted with often. We started hanging out , and we always seemed to end up talking, touching innocently, flirting, but nothing ever happened between us. The feeling this girl gave me inspired me to tell my wife how I was feeling, what I was missing, etc. I told her how important sex was to me, asked her what I could change, or if she needed to change something. Her response was that she "just didn't really think about it like you do" and that she would try to work on it. Well she didn't work on it, at all.
The flirty girl didn't work with me any more, and I lost that "flame" with her and let it go, and went about life as usual. I've been working a lot of hours over the last six months. I fell into this flirty relationship with one of my coworkers 22 and we just would have a lot of fun with one another. Mad sexual tension. A few months back things happen and she blows me. Its great. Best sex of my life. We set up plans to meet up off work hours and we do.
My coworker is in perfect shape. Its like my perfect woman. I love the way she loves me. She appreciates me, she satisfies me, she matches my sexual drive, and even exceeds it. She is everything I was missing in life, and I'm as happy as I've been in a long time. She is also crazy about me which feels unbelievable. Its been a while since someone has just wanted me to be happy and wanted to please me. I now consider her my girlfriend.
I don't wish to hurt my wife. But I do wish to be happy.
I do not wish for my children to grow up in a home with divorce. I want them to grow up with myself and my wife still being the team we've been so far, doing equal parts to take care of them, and always be there for them.
I realize a lot of what I'm saying are things that can't go together. I want to be with my girlfriend, I don't want to hurt my wife, and I don't want my kids to suffer . I can't have it all. Now I feel stuck
I need help because I can't seem to go through with this alone, and I have no one close enough with the time and level of trust that I can confide in, so I would really appreciate it if you'd offer me some advice.
Thanks for reading This is what happens when boys get married, obviously you got married at 24 while your wife was 20 years old. Last last you will regret either you marry 2 wives or you pursue one, I just sorry for your old age. |

During my 100lvl registration then in school. Any graduate or student can relate how stressful, tiring and crowded it use to be doing registrations.
It was so sunny that very day with crowd of freshers everywhere, i got tired at some point and decided to get some rest under a tree. Unbuttoned the first two buttons of my long sleeve shirt for air while getting some rest
Some minutes later, a very big yellow-headed lizard fell from the tree and found its way inside my singlet[Singlet was tucked in my jeans], I screamed so high and got the attention of 99% of students there, while trying to make way for lizard by pulling my singlet from my jean, I ended up opening another way for the lizard to jump inside my boxer. At that moment, I shouted and nervously got confused that I couldn't differentiate my prick from the lizard in my boxer because both of them were dangling and dancing around as I was screaming and rehearsing makossa dance in public, jumping around the tree shouting and behaving like a mad man. People couldn't help because they don't know how to, rather, some were laughing and shouting in amusement.
As God had it, i successfully dragged the lizard out, it jumped out, nodded its head and was there looking at me like a fool instead of running, out of anger of embarrassment, I chased the lizard with my tattered clothes and ended up falling down while the lizard escaped. People were laughing as I was, just so FVCKING EMBARRASSED and PISSED that I was so ashamed to even stand and clean my cloth.
Fortunately, two ladies from the crowd stepped forward, helped me picked my scattered files and cleaned my clothes[Thou they were smiling and laughing while helping], and I had to laugh too in shame.
Nna eh! I just jejely gather morale waka comot, find okada begin dey go my lodge
Registration no be by force!! Lucky for you nobody had phones or recorded it i bet it will hit a million views in an hour. |

Iwantpeace: I Need Advice About My Brother Inlaw Attitude
Hello good morning Nairalanders. I have been a guest and a member of this forum for quite some time now. I have equally seen and learnt from the inputs of many issues brought here especially family one. So I decided to create this new account.
I am a new married woman, my marriage is barely 3 months. Before we got married I and my husband agreed that visitors will not stay longer than 2 weeks in our home. Although he begged me that his immediate younger brother whom has been staying with him will stay for a while or comes to stay with us anytime he is on holidays.
I reluctantly agreed just for peace to reign. He shuttles between our home and my SIL homes for now. To cut the long story short, prior to when we got married that I go visit my then fiancé, anytime I cook this guy is fond of dipping his hands into my pot of soup or food without asking me and this is what I am not comfortable with and I really don't like it. I have sister in law too and I have sisters too anytime I go visiting I don't dip my hands into their pot of food without their consent I see it as something disrespectful.
Again, I couldn't talk then because I feel he may say 'ha dem never marry her she dun de get attitude', now he's continued the same attitude. Yesterday, I made food for the house, dished his own, he ate and slept off when he woke up late in the night he went to my pot again and spoilt my dishing spoon in the process. meanwhile I have not dished out my husband's meal.
Coincidentally, my husband came in from work at that moment and I was going to the kitchen to serve him his meal when I saw him doing what I don't like. When he saw me he said 'this spoon dun spoil '. I kept quiet. I later discussed with my husband, told him that I am not happy with the way his brother is entering my kitchen anyhow n because I am someone that don't like keeping things in my mind I like saying it out to free myself. When I told my husband he said we will talk in the morning.
This morning, the first thing this brother in law of mine was to go straight to the kitchen to look for something to eat. This is someone that will eat and keep the dishes, whenever he is around I don't stay in the living room anymore, my room and my phone is my companion because we stay in a one bedroom flat for now. He's giving me this attitude of it's my brother's house so I can do as I please, when he comes back he expects me to greet him first. I am not saying he cannot stay but my main issue is that he is tempering with my kitchen and trying to flex muscles with me.
Pls how do I handle this issue with my husband amicably because up till now he hasn't said anything and it's bothering me? It's a daicy matter, as much as the boy lacks respect I dont want you to give him what he's looking for. You can start dishing your husband food out first, keep it aside each time you finished cooking, get a cooler or freezer, ensure you dont leave remnants in the pot so as not to offend your "inlaws". Ensure you wash your plates each time you or your husband finished eating, dont leave dirty dishes in the sink. Possibly he will follow suit and if not bear it, but I believed if he observed the place is clean he will follow suit. You need enough patience because your husband is only being careful so that they wont start calling his lovely wife names. So bear hi youthful exuberance. |
