Pure democracy is inherently flawed, at least the US has an electoral college to try to balance things out. Even in Nigeria the winner of the popular vote can't be declared winner without 25% of the vote in at least 24/36 states**.

Tell me, how does bragging about being able to fight a combat personnel do anything remotely positive for the struggle. These "activists", Reno, Sega Mega Chicken, and co are only out for fame/attention, and if you give them what they desire, you take focus away from the real struggle.

Tbh it seems like every state in Nigeria has that "place" (or places) if you know what I mean, where everything looks beautiful and is picture worthy. But then the moment you start going into the inner cities, and smaller towns, you see the ugly, neglected parts. While this is good and should be commended, I'm more concerned with the experience of the average resident, not just in Enugu but in every state in Nigeria at large.

If vital history between Brazil and Africa exists that much, then there should be more connection and attachments than presently is.
I think Africa isn't doing well to preserve their origin and history. That's why most Nigerian tribes up till now can't say their origin. Some say they dropped from heaven, some other say they came from Israel, some say they came from Mecca, while some scientific opinion believe everyone came from Africa.

There's a whole Yoruba ethnicity in Brazil. And they have their own version of Ifa. It's incredible.

I was frustrated when I was stuck and not able to get to my destination because of the protesters. Then I heard one of them tell us in traffic "if e no concern you e go concern you by force".

A lot of Nigerians like to do this "none of my business" thing where as long as we're getting our daily bread then it doesn't matter what happens to anyone else. As shown clearly by your post, you want this thing to end so you can get back to making money for yourself. Well, the protesters are not backing down, so now you are forced to take an interest in what they're doing.

I attached the demands of the people protesting below, and you can clearly see why they're not done just yet. One of the protesters on channels articulated it well, maybe you can look up his full statement on YouTube. They passed by the SARS facility which was still 100% operational. This time, the govt can't take us for a ride. Although these protests ruin many of my plans, I'm in full support.

As I no get mind protest, I'm proud to have donated something substantial (relative to my account balance) to those who have the courage to do so. I hope we get the reforms we need!

The death of the officer in this protest unfortunately makes a strong case for SARS. People should be pushing for police reform instead because SARS are not the only corrupt branch of police. Policing in Nigeria needs a complete overhaul, but that doesn't mean police shouldn't exist. If you've noticed, a lot of internet fraudsters and criminally minded people are latching on to the whole EndSARS thing because they think it'll mean they get to do their crimes in peace.

If he really did this then he's clearly not educated. There's a difference between having a degree and getting an education. If he really learned something in all those years in school then there MUST be a way to make something out of it. It's all about packaging. So if he could this then it means he didn't pick up a single skill from everything he learned in school. And therefore, for him, it's probably the right thing to do, since certificates are supposed to be proof that you acquired some knowledge of use in a particular field.

It's supposed to incentivize usage of public transportation, for example countries like the UK have a public transport centred approach where it's basically much easier to get around with public buses and cars than to own your own car, as opposed to places like the US (car-centred). It's a whole topic in transportation engineering in case you're interested in further reading. Of course Lagos could do with implementing it much better, but I believe it's the best approach for a country where most citizens cannot afford their own cars.

Clubkonnect? Been a while since I heard that name. I seriously thought Seun would've stopped allowing them to post ads. They scammed me a few years ago, at first it was legit but by the third transaction or so I paid and received no data. Tried again, same thing. So I guess you could say I was scammed twice. Contacted them with no response. This was in 2016 or so.
