PoliticsRe: I Don't Believe In God - Ed Miliband (new Uk Labour Leader) by hackney(m): 8:36am On Oct 07, 2010
It takes a lot to believe in God considering what's happening today and also for ages for that matter (wars and co)
How do you explain natural disasters around the world to a man like milliband? (mega floods carrying babies away) and also the various illnesses befalling people. (anguish)
People (in nigeria) getting away with pure perpetrated evil for decades , famine in E.africa , people in perpetual suffering for generations
while others are in so much affluence(£11,000 clutch bags that wont fit a mobile phone) ,etc

But make no mistake; God exists and i believe it purely through faith.
(i've also experienced occurrences that can only be described as miracles.
(a fool has said in his heart that there's no God)

when i see him , i will surely ask questions though.

PoliticsRe: Abuja Blasts Latest: Sss, Efcc Trace $20m To Politician’s Account by hackney(m): 7:52am On Oct 07, 2010
I dont see how the  dokpesi man will be involved in any bombings unless he was set up in terms of phone calls and such.
the man's business in the whole thing is to use his media outlet to campaign for IBB, finish.

This bombing of a thing may have common denominators with Dokpesi's campaign but that man is innocent.
All those dokpesi and co no get liver to do anything of the sort.

infact i will rule out any indigiene of the south-west because this bombing and these kinds of plots require liver.

MEND is the only chance the ND has of getting deserved  remunerations and developments for that region.
the rest is mere talk.

Anybody that believes that talk and dialogue resolves issues in nigeria is either under 3 yrs old or very id1ot1c.

PoliticsRe: Why Africa Needs 'cheetahs,' Not 'hippos' by hackney(m): 7:55am On Oct 06, 2010
AjanleKoko:
LOL. MEND is probably a 'hippo' creation. With GEJ's vehement defence of the outfit, nobody really can say for sure who or what MEND is, not any more.

As per the article, I basically agree with the import. We definitely need a new thinking and philosophy in Africa. And we all know it's not going to come from the generation that created all the problems in the first place. We have to look to our generation, however galling that might appear at this time.
This is already a reality but the so-called hippos are in the way like you and i know.
that is the biggest problem with nigeria as a case study.
RomanceRe: Getting married At 33 And Mum Still Disapproves. by hackney(m): 9:47pm On Oct 05, 2010
If your mum does not want you to marry at 33, she needs to find you a yoruba man then.
Otherwise, if you miss this chance because of her what you need to do is pack into your mum's house and live with her so that she will marry you.
Then she will hear nwiii.

hope she not one of those terrible mothers.

ComputersRe: Help! Urgent: Preboot Error Is Giving Me Probblem by hackney(m): 9:30pm On Oct 05, 2010
What kind of beep does it give just before the error?
Does it give a short beep or a slightly long beep?
If its the former then it could be the m\board (issues with heating where the cpu or system fan has stopped)
If its the latter then its the memory cards in which case you need to change them (take them out and put them back then try again before changing).

it is also crucial to remove the peripherals (like mouse, keyboard, soundcards if you have any) one after the other and
restart the pc each time to see at what point the error stops.
good luck.

PoliticsRe: This Is ARMED Mend. 48hrs Before The Explosions In Abuja. video. by hackney(m): 7:36pm On Oct 05, 2010
If a few major looters (home and away) are killed by them, Aso rock is bombed to smitherines and
a massive uprising by the nigerian populace starts, then the country will be on the
way to a bright future where looters will be scared.

I think they should form a body that tracks down looters living abroad and kill them.
that way the looters will have nowhere to hide.

That is what nigeria needs.
FamilyRe: Women Who Earn More Than Their Husbands! by hackney(m): 7:22pm On Oct 05, 2010
A woman earning more than a man in general (but especially in Africa) is a terrible thing.

Women are completely different from men in the way they do everything (how they prioritise, emotional influence in decision making etc)
Instinctively, a woman goes into a relationship with the feeling that the man is in charge.
This means that he is the emotional, financial and safety bedrock for her.
In such a situation will a woman look at a man and say : yes! he is a man.

Knowing that a woman thinks she is always right, how would you decide on what to buy with her money
in this age? ?

Naturally, a man can carry his wife without thinking for a second that she is a financial burden but if the
woman earns so much than the man that her money buys the major stuff in the house, 90% of the
times , that r\ship will colapse.
The woman (with their crazy heads) will just storm out one day and set up home somewhere.
ComputersRe: Unable to Activate Microsoft Office by hackney(m): 8:51pm On Oct 04, 2010
If all fails (and your copy is genuine), you can activate via telephone.
the telephone conversation is usually automated and when they verify that your
MS office copy is authentic, they will give you a set of activation keys that will work.

Ques: With the activation failing, does it still create a 'microsoft office' folder in program files? if it does , it should be deleted before you try again.

Also you can look in the registry to see if any MS office entries are there or even in control panel.
These can be removed\uninstalled but be careful with the registry as it modifications can stop your laptop from
loading windows.

hope that helps.
cheers.

CrimeRe: Man Beats Wife To Death During Domestic Squable by hackney(m): 1:38pm On Oct 04, 2010

Christianity EtcRe: Why Do Some Christians Hate To Pay Their Tithes? by hackney(m): 1:30pm On Oct 04, 2010
I actually feel better when i give money to  a street beggar  than
when i give offering in church.

A lot of things are to be believed and done without question but i draw the line at
giving a % of my pay to some pastor.

The pastor may be laughing with your money while sleeping with a choir girl.
I would rather buy more pews or fans for the church rather than give cash to a pastor.
With the nigerian mentality, how do we know that the pastor does not think that the tithes are his
money to use as a man of God?

Nigeria would have moved forward at least 100 years.
