Bros, it's a scam . The format isn't new to people from SW, you were talking to the same person, he was only alternating between a young man's voice and an old man voice. They normally start with you buying salt , coconut and you sending some money for some ritual items. From there, they'll be manipulating you to drop more money and threaten you never to tell anybody not even your wife. Sometimes they start their scam by sending an invalid recharge pin to you as a mistake with the message directed to their supposed son to sell the recharge and travel home for their traditional festival. They will start calling you immediately that they sent a recharge pin to you in error and that you should help them send it back. Once you do it, they'll call you back that Baba wants to thank you and pray for you. That's how they'll introduce the salt format. They are pure 419

Back in school there was this my guy that came to me sober and told me he will be corner bagged that night with one of his lodge mate. He came to me because he needed to know as e dey be before he put head. I stopped him because SVC is the worst thing that will happen to you as a student, most of them are not just cultist but high way robbers.

Now why did SVC want to quickly initiate this guy by corner bagging? A friend of his (a bagger) went to his inbox and saw his account balance, knowing that the guy is loaded he started pressuring him to join so that he would rip him off. The other lodge mate that went ahead to join them ran away from school because his supposed brothers extorted him daily and nearly killed him with machete drills.

The cultists you can know is the ones that want you to know them. The ones that don't want you to know them you won't know until their graduation where they fly their colours, though it varies as some kush don't maintain secrecy while others have secrecy as their guiding principle.

If you don't want them to notice you keep away from drug heads and weed smokers (this doesn't mean that all druggies and stoners are cultist) but these things bring them together.

You fourth paragraph is so on point. After our final exams, these boys in our department chased all of us from class and they were wearing same clothes, how they quickly changed to this clothes I was surprised, they even beat a very close friends of their who taught they were joking. I never knew they were into such.

Always remember that everybody in life needs help. Sometimes staying out of some people's life is the best way to help them. Before I stopped employing people last year, I had a 22 year-old PA who basically became her family's main breadwinner because of the N85,000 salary I was paying her. I mean paying her sister's tuition fees and accommodation at RSUST, dropping food money at home etc. Her dad was a MOPOL and her mom ran a small neighbourhood shop. She was 22 but she looked like she was 15 because of years of chronic under-nutrition. When I heard her story, I ended up keeping her on for four months longer than I planned to, because...what else would she do?

At first her folks didn't even believe that the job offer was real. Apparently I looked like either a scammer/kidnapper dangling bait, a Yahoo boy or Santa Claus. Everytime I paid her salary, her mom used to call me and pray for me. It was that deep. It scarred me. She told me that sometimes while she was at uni, there would simply be no money for a few weeks, so she had some friends whom she used to alternately visit once a day so she could eat.

Sometimes she would just lie down hungry and go to bed crying. It was that deep. Her parents used to send an irregular allowance of N7,000/month. I have no idea how a human being, student or not, lives on N7,000/month but she did it.

After all of that, she still had to carry her family on her back as the firstborn. What young Nigerians are going through is better seen than described. This country isn't nice to anyone, but under-30s in particular are seeing raw hell. So when I see anyone, whether govt shill or okrika elite acting like everything is OK, I want to physically slap them.There is an economic and demographic time bomb that has already started detonating in the north. Our own is not far away down here too.

Even if Buhari is your father, you're not safe. Go and ask Siad Barre's children who are busy hustling in the U.S. now.

Oh BTW, I found out from here that MOPOL are paid minimum wage. Yes, with their guns and everything, something will squeeze face and give them N18,000 every month. No idea if the N30,000 has been implemented now.
