No human can go through life with out problem, and it depends on what you call problem too. Different things are problem to different people

IMO, life problems are those difficulties that come uninvited. Woman is not a man's problem unless he makes it a problem
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Do You Always Sleep In Church? by hardon1(m): 11:46am On Sep 10, 2023
malvisguy212:
if you find yourself sleeping in church, then your spiritual life with God is not genuine....some may not be sleeping in church, but their minds is switched off.....some may argue , when the preacher is too slow in speaking. but pastor kumuyi of deeper life is slow in speaking but interesting to listen too.
I don't know why we link everything spiritual.

When the body is weary in one way or the other and need reset to regain strength. It triggers sleep at the slightest element of comfort (fan, ac, soft couch, cool breeze, nice music etc depending on individual.

This sleep thing can and does happen anywhere: parks, lecture halls, seminars, meetings, buses etc. I wonder why church own should be a concern

When our body wants to shutdown, it's oblivious of our location. It's out mind that is aware of location

Make una allow devil breath sometimes. He is not that cause of everything

Family › Re: Can You Marry Someone Your Family Members Arranged For You? by hardon1(m): 3:47pm On Aug 14, 2023
IamKizzbrown10:
Approximately 95%of marriages in India are arranged, with the divorce rate at 1%. I come from a big family, with 25 first cousins
and many more second and third cousins.

Out of these 28, 24 are now married and 2 are engaged. All arranged marriages, with no divorce to date.

I am the black sheep of the family, with the first love marriage in the history of my family. I believe that I am the custodian of my own
happiness. I believe that God gave me free will.

So, I cannot marry someone my parents choose for me because even if they trained me from birth, they have limited knowledge of what
gives me fulfillment, especially in the area of choosing a life partner.

What are your thoughts about these
Na family matchmade marriages dey last past sef. Because every one including the couple and both family make effort to see that it is successful

Engaging Nigerien army will be a different kettle of fish.
There will be no war.
ECOWAS standby force will ensure that there is no spill over effect of the coup at key boundaries. Niger being the largest country in the bloc.
Niger is the fourth country in west africa that has had coup with a space of 3 years. You thing say all these na coincidence.

The next coup will be Nigeria, Ghana or Senegal

Because, all 9ja girls are ashawo by nature both the ones forming GF or church girl/wife. They are all the same.

The fact that you have never caught your babe/wife doing ashawo, doesn't mean she is not an ashawo.

I always pitied the married guys, when I see their wives doing ashawo up and down without them knowing.
Wow, by this generalisation, it means all your sisters are ashawo😁, including your nieces, female cousins and relatives are all ashawo. That so good to know😁😁

finallybusy:
Look at the class of people who speak it and make your conclusion. Last I remember, books aren't written in the lingo nor do the speakers bother to improve themselves literature-wise. You either pick one, mastering English or pidgin. there is no in-between.
How do pidgin English speakers look like. They are no different from those who speak English.

Believe it or not, you cannot undermine pidgin, it's Nigeria's number 1 unofficial language. And I see noting wrong with it. It is a free and easy language

We have electronic and print media dedicated to Pidgin. In fifty years time, I see Nigeria adopting it as official language. When I have kids, in as much as I want them to learn English language, I would also want them to understand and relate In pidgin, as well as my local language

Kobojunkie:
▢ Why does "life has to move on" need to translate to people having kids they obviously lack the resources to raise?
▢ You admit that well over 50% of Nigerians ought not to concern themselves with having children at all given they lack the financial capacity for such so, why does "Life has to move on" need to mean it is Ok for them to have kids?
▢ Why does "life has to move on" need to be translated to mean foolishness, and obviously wickedness should continue to thrive and reign for Pete's sake? undecided

Those Nigerians who chose not to have kids at all after carefully examining their pockets and environments, do you think of them as imbeciles or something?? undecided

2. The government does that because the people consider themselves worth such; they are the government after all. Do Nigerians think of themselves the same way? With people having kids they cannot afford to raise, who do you expect to pay for such programs? The handful of Nigerians who made the wise church not burden themselves with more than they can carry? Or are you under some sort of delusion that these programs in developed countries sponsor themselves? undecided
That's your opinion sha...
What I know is that: if I don't have much money, I would rather have a wife and one or tow kids and live in the poverty, than never have one at all just because I don't have the means
Family › Re: Consequences Of Having Many Children In A Bad Economy? by hardon1(m): 8:36pm On Jul 24, 2023
FROGMAN101:
Well i agree a bit with Everybody Pays cause the Nigerians who decided to have kids with no trust fund or bailout plans are always on my messages begging for one favor or the other.

Have you noticed the Hardon1 guy you talkin with kept on talkin about accident, ill luck and bla bla

Apparently Nigerians DONT know theres something called a trust fund for a kid or kids and having a partner who is also earning where if you die the kid is set for life.

All some Nigerians know is to give birth without a plan, suffer, then blame the government as if this hell hole Nigeria has ever functioned well since inception.
My guy ur still in this grin grin. Relax abeg. I guess you are previledged and comfortable to some extent, that's why you are talking like this sha. If you know the difficulty people are going through, you wouldn't blame them for certain things

If we want to talk of the requirements for bringing up a child, 50% of adult Nigerians including me would not meet it due to poverty

By standard, a Nigerian earning a minimum wage of 30k cannot adequately cater for himself let alone a child. You go come because of that say make person no marry or born pikin? No na. Live has to move on

In western nations, government also make inputs towards the development of every child, we don't have such here. We do everything by ourself here.

If you don't have the means, you have to struggle through the process

Kobojunkie:
1. How does intention translate to having the actual resources sufficient for raising a kid abeg? Consider the case of the man who had 5 kids and was sleeping in an abandoned car, a story we all witnessed this week on Nairaland. Why hasn't his intentions translated too much for each of the 5 kids? undecided

2. So, this man lives paycheck to paycheck yet goes on to have 7 kids just on that? Are you kidding me? Do you think kids are meant to be raised paycheck to paycheck? Una no dey hear say dem dey cut your coat according to size? Of course, you would not expect such a foolish man to kill his children but the man already killed their chances at a good future by his poor decision to birth them all in the first place. undecided

If that man had had only 1 or two and saved up whatever he would have spent on the other 5 or 6 kids, he would have been able to have an emergency stash that would probably help him ride out the hard times for many years to come. Better yet, if the man had equally had a working wife, the two would have been able to save up enough to even guarantee the future of their one or two kids. Intentions aren't good enough when it comes to the wellbeing of another human being and yes, children are human beings, not toys! undecided
If a man living in penury consciously gives birth to many children, then what you are saying is valid. I would to some extent blame the man

Am just trying to draw an exception that some persons are unable to cater because they fell from grace to grace by way of disaster, ill luck, illness, incapacitation, accident etc then made them unable to provide.

When was the economy ever "still good"? undecided
Ideally, no body ever gives birth to a child without the intentions to properly care for the child

Imagin a man with a promising job/biz gives birth to say 7 children. The man has the means to fully cater for all the children in all remifications and he does so excellently well

And suddenly the man lost the job or the business crumbled by disaster leaving the man poorer and unable to cater. Do you expect him to kill the children, or would you say he is irresponsible for giving birth to seven children
