PoliticsRe: ***Impeach Ezenwanyi Elect, Ogugua88. Unfit To Lead.*** by hercules07: 12:47pm On Nov 08, 2012
coogar: you lots are pathetic.....
ogugua should be impeached because she's more educated, more exposed, more diplomatic, more intelligent and more tolerant than you "mgbeke" breeds? where was this gnashing of teeth when the election process was going on? ogugua contested an election, won an election fair and square and now she must be impeached because she has spoken the truth?

may amadioha deliver the worst strain of chicken pox on the offspring of whoever made this thread or the people conspiring against ogugua. ogugua is my ezenwanyi and no jupiter can touch her. if you billygoats don't have anything to do than gossip about a woman young enough to be your daughter, then buy a long rope - find a strong beam to tie it to and do the obvious......

desist from this plan before i bring my 4 apocalyptic horsemen on this thread.....
More beautiful too, I am amazed at the vitriol directed at her, this is just an online forum and people are going mad at a young lady.
PoliticsRe: Planned S/west Integration Awaits Legislatures' Nod by hercules07: 12:43pm On Nov 08, 2012
Ndu is a rable rouser, he is a unitary man to the core, the regional integration should be done in such a way that it allows those who are ready to contribute the freedom to do so without minding their origin, SW needs ideas from others to grow, we should also carry Edo along.
PoliticsRe: Lagos To Get Bicycles Lanes by hercules07: 1:44pm On Oct 29, 2012
naptu2: At last! This is what Ojo Madueke should have done. Kudos to LASG.

Let me quickly address some of the criticisms that were directed at Ojo Madueke.

1) Some people said "How do you expect me to ride a bicycle from my house in Oshodi to my office in Victoria Island?".

Ans: That's not what this initiative is for. You are expected to use the BRT or LRT for such journeys. However, you are expected to cycle when you want to go to the supermarket, barbershop, chemist, tv viewing centre, video club, cybercafe, bank, etc in your neighbourhood.

Oh, and the fact that you cycle does not mean that you are going back to the stone age. Rather, you are helping to save the planet, exercising, reducing traffic jams and living a healthier life

I hope you know that Ojo was hit by a bus on that day..

PoliticsRe: Patience Jonathan Leaves German Hospital, Checks Into Hotel by hercules07: 9:38am On Oct 04, 2012
Billyonaire: Patience GEJ is a private citizen, Nigerians should leave her private health life out of their jobless amebo life. In the event that anyone should find a constitutional clause to prove to me she is a public figure as President's wife, which I doubt, Its also State Secrecy to keep health of state officials secret so enemies wont go doing 'winshees' on her.
She is not a private citizen, she is the permanent secretary and the wife of the President, that is as public as it gets, she is being taken care of using our money, we should know what our money is being spent on.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Is A Trainee President - ACN by hercules07: 4:26pm On Sep 27, 2012
anonimi: Did the Oyo state governor, Ajimobi not abandon his state when Ogunpa river flooded in Ibadanhuh
He left for London to watch Olympics where Nigeria had no medals and after the London training for Oyo legislators' wives.
Thereafter he accompanied his Ashiwaju to the US for the Democratic Convention among other activities. Meanwhile the Republican governor of Louisiana skiiped his party's convention to nominate Mitt Romney, their presidential candidate so as to monitor hurrican Isaac.
ACN is simply a party of HYPOCRITES.
[quote author=anonimi]The PDP should have gone for the jugular, next time the Governor will know not to leave his house, we need the opposition to put the government in check.

taharqa: Go and get him out na. What are you waiting for COWARD?..you understand u show yrself a whinning clown if the only thing u do is to make noice online?u understand dat right?
I know you as a GEJ supporter but I did not know that you can not process information properly, what in my statement can you classify as whining, infact, it is the people who shout that GEJ is criticized that are whining, for goodness sake Obama is more criticized and he continues with his work, it is the job of the opposition to do this, do you expect them to praise him? I also do not know where cowardice comment came from, I guess you need to chill out.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Is A Trainee President - ACN by hercules07: 11:27am On Sep 27, 2012
uzomagic: I think it is now fairly obvious that ACN is nothing but A.C.T= Action Congress of Tinubu because no Organisation that has the interest of Nigeria at heart will make this kind of rash, spontaneous and childish statement. Far from being a trainee President, GEJ is a tailor-made President, by God's design and the overwhelming mandate conferred on him by a vast majority of right-thinking Nigerians. GEJ, through his experiences, circumstances of his gradual rise from a very humble background to the Nation's top job is eminently qualified to lead Nigeria on the path of genuine transformation and development.
Firstly, GEJ's Presidency addresses the "JUSTICE" question in Nigeria's Political firmament as it was absurd that the South-South region that had been the mainstay of the Nation's economy for the preceding 50 years before his emergence as President in 2010 had not had a shot at the Nation's Presidency.
In addition, only for the 2nd time in our National life and history, we had the luxury of a graduate as President; the first being the brief tenure of the late President Musa Yar'Adua. GEJ took it yet a step further by being the 1st PhD holder to assume the reins of power.
In his brief spell thus far, the Country has witnessed steady growth with milestones in Power, Education, Infrastructure, and Human Capital Development.
The Country's landscape is dotted with developmental projects and it is highly commendable how well he has done in this brief spell thus far. Clearly, Nigeria and Nigerians are experiencing Fresh Air and we don't want it to end anytime soon. Ride on GEJ,
I just smile when I see write ups like this, the opposition is meant to be on the President's case, they are meant to criticize him all through his tenure, the PDP and other parties should do the same in the SW, it will keep the leaders on their toes and they will know that they should not take the people for granted, there is a difference between criticism and lies, as long as what the opposition says is the truth, then they should carry go. I do not outsource my problems to God, God did not design to give me a weakling as President, he either performs or gets out.

PoliticsRe: Who Made Tinubu A Tax Man? by hercules07: 6:03am On Sep 21, 2012
The funny thing is that the company in question does not collect the taxes, they just help the govt identify the people evading and how much those people should pay, it is the state govt. that collects its tax.

PoliticsRe: PHCN Assets: IBB, Abdulsalami, Tinubu Lead Bid Battle by hercules07: 4:07pm On Sep 07, 2012
I believe the sector should be deregulated, my fear with privatization is that they are about creating regional monopolies, why not just deregulate the sector and let there be many players. The Nigerian companies will definitely rely on foreign guys, but, there should be a plan driven by the regulators to reverse that in a decade or two.

Waiting for the El-Rufai haters to come out, he is praising both GEJ and Barth Nnaji here. I do not believe the PHCN should be privatised, I think the sector should be deregulated, what worked in the telecomms sector was deregulation not privatization.

PoliticsRe: IBB Threatens To Expose Buhari by hercules07: 9:03am On Aug 28, 2012
naijababe: Contrary to popular opinion, Buhari is the saint that he's being made out to be. He was indeed the minister of petroleum under Obasanjo in 79; under his watch $3B disappeared from the account of the NNPC. When Buhari overthrew Shagari's govt, the first port of call was the office of the NNPC where all documentation relating to the money promptly disappeared to this day.

I do realise that IBB has no right to any moral high ground though.
That must be the story told to you by your PDP goons abi, for your information, Buhari was cleared of all allegations and Shagari was there for four years, if he had anything, he had enough time to nail Buhari. IBB is just a rabble rouser.

BusinessRe: Conversation With Sanusi On "New" Currency Policy by hercules07: 6:38pm On Aug 27, 2012
Katsumoto: In economics, you don't look at individual or minor transactions, you look at a majority of transactions.

Nigeria's underground economy is at least 75% of the overall economy and most of those transactions will be in cash.

This policy runs counter to the Cashless society policy.
The majority of the 75% do not use banks, they are excluded from the policy.
BusinessRe: Conversation With Sanusi On "New" Currency Policy by hercules07: 5:07pm On Aug 27, 2012
logica: Fine. Penalties. Some people don't mind the penalties and still go collect 500k with GMG bags as you can see from this thread. Providing them with 5000 notes makes it easier for them; it's like an encouragement. Do you realize the reason most Nigerians (apart from those who use GMG bags to collect same) will not collect 500k is simply because of the bulk even with 1000 Naira notes?
The cashless policy is meant to make it safer to transact business, if it reduces stealing all well and good, the police and efcc can still catch the corrupt guys by following the trail, I am more inclined to use electronic means of transacting business instead of physical cash.
BusinessRe: Conversation With Sanusi On "New" Currency Policy by hercules07: 4:14pm On Aug 27, 2012
The nation spends quite a lot to process cash, I should know this as I helped setup a data center for a cash processing company (no ask me where o), the policy will reduce that cost drastically, the cashless policy is also not affected as the penalties are still in place. The coin issue is where attention should be focused, I believe Nigerians will take undue advantage, it says more about us as a people than it does the CNN governor, it is also a opportunity for the IT guys to come up with cheap and effective solutions that SMEs can use, the other notes will still be available anyway.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria No Longer Imports Cement!! by hercules07: 10:05pm On Aug 24, 2012
They would rather import as it is cheaper, but, dangote is too invested in local production and he has got the government on his side. I doubt the story sha as I believe ibetostill imports. We should not praise government for doing their job, they should be praised for extra-ordinary feat.

I know a lot of Ilorins and they do not deny being Yoruba, heck, the Emir himself is not full fulani nau. The Ilorins can choose wherever they want to be, that is no big deal, Offas are definitely better served coming to the SW as they are even marginalised as it is now.
PoliticsRe: Shocker: "People Around Me Are Clueless" - Says Mallam Elrufai by hercules07: 10:03am On Aug 10, 2012
It is obvious El Rufai was talking about the people around him at that time (Security officials and the SSS), there is no need to over analyse it, the SSS are not clueless but their leadership is.
