What does the man being Ibo have to do with anything Are Ibo men more inclined to domestic violence, and is there scientific evidence to back such claims? It just seems to me that a frustrated man shoots his wife, and is soon going to pay the penalty for such a nefarious act. Whether he is Ibo or not is totally irrelevant, or else you can scientifically prove other wise. I am more concerned that you can't seem to abstain from tribalising every single thing.

Nigerians are passive cowards that's why we have steadily condoned a system mired by corruption, coup and endemic poverty. If any of these thing were to happen in other countries they would have revolted a long time ago. We are so ethnically divided it would be hard for any one to coordinate the effort. The Igbo man will pursue his own agenda, like wise the Yoruba and Hausa. Not to mention religious divisions, the christian would refuse to revolt with the Muslims e.t.c. A revolution can only occur when there is concensus amongst all denizens. Sadly enough the same divisive principles that allowed colonialism to rape us in the rare end without lubrication, is what our leaders are now using to exploit us again. Does it really matter? Does the crime become less or more of a crime, due to the ethnicity of the perpetrator? Well I don't really see how this will improve the dismal economic situation in Britain. Immigration reduction and immigration  capping historically has never worked in terms of improving economic growth. On the contrary it hinders growth, and threatens the economy. Jobs that were once filled by immigrants become more expensive fulfill, it put further strain on small business, and the added operational costs are pushed on the consumer. Which ultimately translating in higher prices hence negative buyer sentiments. Except this immigration capping and reduction is only targeted specifically to Nigerians, because they are constituting a nuisance by living off the system and not fully immersing themselves into to labour force. If so that's another issue entirely.

I know the poster linked the story from the Tribune but every other news outlet in the world correctly reported the amount as 80 Million and not 1 Billion Dollars. Like with everthing else, Nigerians film directors fail to appreciate the importance of departmental delegation and collaboration. You cant make a film with only the director trying to controll every aspect of it! It can be argued that Film making is an industry that leans heavy on collaboration between departments. I studied Cinematography as a hobby, and was amazed at how many departments had to collaborate and function cohesively just to produce a film. There is the Sound department, the lighting department, the logistic department, Location scouting, visual effects, Grips, Gaffer, bestboy, Focus puller, assistant director, director, directory of photography, 1st and second camera assistant,costume department, make up and hair, catering, continuity director, Personal assistant, finance department, Set design, Illustration department, Stand ins, Actors, extras,Safety department. Film processing and developing department, editor e.t.c

Some one has to start up a film company with a holistic picture of what it entails, and then start training people to man the various departments. This will definitely improve the quality of Nigerian films. Also government has to enforce stricter piracy and copy right laws, so film companies can recouporate their profits.
